Korean export of fashion products to the U.S. has fallen off sharply after 2001. Now, Korean fashion companies have to develop higher value-added business. In the U.S., Korean-American fashion companies are taking a primary role in up-stream of the fashion industry. To cut the edge over the U.S. fashion companies, one of the solutions could be to build the business relationship with Korean fashion companies which reflect the recent trend rapidly and have high quality production. On this study, we investigated the marketing strategies of Korean-American fashion companies to seek to start business with Korean fashion companies and make suggestions for Korean fashion companies who want to enter into the U.S. market effectively. To analyze current situation of Korean export to the U.S. and the U.S. fashion industry, we considered various kinds of statistic data, publications and studies. And we performed in-depth interviews with 9 Korean-American fashion companies in LA from $9^{th}$ to $21^{st}$ of July. The results are as follows. first, Korean fashion companies should aim for high-end market with the products of high quality and design. Second, there should be professional agents who manage Korean small-medium fashion companies and connect them with Korean-American fashion companies. Third, Korean fashion companies who want to enter into the retail market of the U.S. have to decide the target market clearly and plan strategic and differentiated merchandising. Fourth, Korean fashion companies can specialize in product developing service like proposing a product or a merchandising line as a package including designs, fabric swatches, trims, production information, etc.

The purpose of this study is finding a solution to increase the consumption of Korean cookies by investigating and analyzing the actual consumption patterns, suggestions fur improvement and preferences for Korean cookies. The data fer this study was collected from 358 housewives living in Daegu province. Results show that 77.4% of housewives in this locale eat Korean cookies on a special day such as memorial service day of ancestors, festive day or party. The frequency of having Korean cookies were significantly different due to the income (p<.05): the higher the income, the more often people had Korean cookies. They usually purchase Korean cookies on the market rather than making them by themselves. The percentile of housewives who have never made Korean cookies before was up to 51.7% Only the housewives over fifty had some experience making the Korean cookies. The number of people who teamed the method fur making Korean cookies from their family elders increased according to their age. The reasons why they buy Korean cookies on the market are as follows: the most frequent answer (45.5%) was the price. 34.5% of the responder리s did not know how to make them. 32.1% replied that the process is too complex and troublesome. The most frequent requests for the market was expanding the diversity and improving the quality. In response to why they want the Korean cookies to be inherited. 68.8% of respondents answered that it is traditional culture. 4.01% of respondents replied that `ssalyeatgangung' is their favorite Korean cookie. 3.90% of them like 'sanja' the best and 3.91% of the housewives preferred yakwa to other Korean cookies. The purpose of this study is to compare and analyze about the Telecasters's appearance management, external image & awareness on Self-Efficacy. The method of this study is carried out form 2 January 2013 until 20 January. with the 164 telecasters who announcers, voice actors, gag men, singers. The results of the research is summarized below: First, Among the telecasters, singer is the highest awareness of the beauty services importance about the fashion, makeup, hair, skin care, cosmetic surgery. Especially, about the awareness of the beauty services importance about the fashion, makeup, hair, singers> announcers> voice actors> gagmen appear one after another. Second, about the importance awareness of the beauty services importance & the relation of self-efficacy, for announcers, the more higher awareness the fashion, makeup, hair, the higher self-efficacy of the confidence, effective expression, etc.. For voice actors, the more higher awareness the hair, skin care, the fashion, make up, cosmetic surgery, the higher self-efficacy of the new image making, the confidence, task efficiency improvement, etc... For gagmen, the more higher awareness the fashion, hair, skin care, makeup, cosmetic surgery, the higher self-efficacy of the self-expression, the confidence, the new image making, task efficiency improvement, etc.. For singer, the more higher awareness the makeup, hair, cosmetic surgery, skin care, fashion, the higher self-efficacy of the task efficiency improvement, the self-expression, the confidence, the new image making, etc.. Third, about the importance awareness of the appearance management behavior, external image, about the importance awareness of the appearance management behavior, singer is the most higher awareness, announcers> voice actors> gagmen appear one after another. about the importance awareness of the external image, singer is the most higher awareness, voice actor> announcers> gagmen appear after another. The meanings of this study provide the telecasters's image's fields with the effective basic data.

The value chain is analytically useful for the cultural industry that has the characteristics of both manufacture and service industry, as the focus of value chain analysis moves from manufacturing only to the other stages of activity involved in supplying goods and services to consumers. The aim of paper is to analyse the value chain of the cultural industry in Gyeongbuk, find out the strengths and weaknesses of it, and suggest the ways to enhance the innovation capabilities of cultural industry in Gyeongbuk. First, the firms in advertisement & marketing, and circulation & distribution have low percent in cultural industry and need the low level of human resource, but produce high value-added in value chain; so, we should facilitate the make-up of the firms in advertisement & marketing, and circulation & distribution. Second, we should strengthen inter-firm networks to facilitate the ex-change of the equipment, human resource, information and technology between them. Third, we should construct the system to development human resource with two levels and spread the open atmosphere of firms.

In order to advise how to solve the problems and suggest on the mechanization of beef farm, the facilities and equipment for feeding and supplying water to the animals and transporting manure, and farm machineries of sixty-seven beef cattle farms in western Chungnam Province were surveyed. The results are as follows; 1. The proportions of number of heads per farm for above 70, 50∼70, 30∼50, 10∼30 and below 10 heads were 26, 18, 29, 13 and 13, respectively. The farms with the annual income more than 30 million won are consisted of 67.6% of the farms surveyed which showed to be higher than national average. 2. Only 19% of farms had automatic feeding system. Water was supplied by water cup(45%), opening and shutting water tab(27.6%) and bucket. 3. Cattle manure was transported by manpower (46%) by loader (34%) and by gravitational flow (14%). Most of manure(97%) was composted after treatment of drying or piling up outside. 4. More instruction and education were required because of the insufficient routine checking and fixing for farming machines, and unsystematic education for learning skills. 5. 65% of farms felt unsatisfied about after service(A/S) for their machinery. The main reason why the farmers were not satisfied was that it took too much time to be repaired. 6. When the farms purchased facilities, equipment and machinery, they did not analyze economic value of them and keep a diary. To make effective use of machines, the most available model for purchasing and managing of machines must be developed and applied to various scales of management.

In this paper, we propose a CMS(Career Management System) based on the Android Platform, which is able to manage the result of MBTI, an aptitude test and English skills such as TOEIC, conversation, writing, etc. and to deal with the performance of the on-the-job practice, internship, project participation, graduation exhibition, contest exhibition, etc. during the period of attendance at school, This system is divided into the server module and the client one. First, the server module is used to build up the web site of the CMS that can serve to save the data related to each student's career. Second, the client module is to develop the application based on the Android Platform. This application can easily access the career-related information and always function as maintaining and managing the new data. If we make good use of the CMS proposed in this study, the relevant departments and bureaus in colleges and universities can activate the service capacity and also enhance the employment competitiveness by adding value to the students.

The concept of expectation rights considers 'the expectation' that the patient should be given proper medical treatment as the benefit and protection of the law, so it would be the benefit and protection of the law due to personal rights different from 'the legal principle that has the possibility to a considerable extent' being in an extension of life and body. However, the problem how the patient's expectation of medical service sets up in order to make it the benefit and protection of the law would be still left in the vague concept of the patient's 'expectation', thus, in the first place, the medical practice following formed medical standard in every particular medical institutes should be the standard because these medical services are normally within a range of the patients' expectations. In addition, it should be naturally constituted as mental profit to get the subjective circumstances such as 'the patient's expectation' to be an object, and also, different from the profit and protection of the law such as life and body that should be absolutely protected, the origin of violation behavior should be regarded simultaneously to define the denotation of expectation rights. Therefore, the expectation rights violations would be problematic in case it fails to reach the medical standard that is expected for common doctors to practice properly. This is the concept of expectation rights that gets subjective matters such as the patient's expectation to be objectivity as medical practices that can be expected by generalized abstract doctors. This standard should be defined as the minimum standard that is naturally expected for doctors to practice, different from medical standard that decides the level of doctors.

The ageing problem of the population has been emerging in Korea since 1970's so that it is expecting the elderly 65 years and over among the total population from $4.5\%$ in 1988 to be $6.3\%$ in year 2000. This study was conducted to provide secure policy development in coming years for the aged on medical and health care aspects based on the examining current status of the aged problems and health care policies and systems. The study divided into four parts; The first part examined the medical insurance program and public assistance program of the health services in relation to the aged. The second part emphasized on reduction of medical care cost for the aged. The third part studied the regular health check-up program and health education for the aged. The fourth part examined the chronic disease management programs for the aged and strategies of the health care service quality improvement and specialized programs. The following recommendations made as the results of the study. 1. At present, the medical insurance program and public assistance program for the medically indigent is not appropriate to the elderly because it is a part of general medical insurance program so that Health Security Law for the Aged is proposed. 2. Medical cost will be increased due to the high occupancy rate of hospital beds and long stay of the elderly so that it is recommended to develop an early discharge program, home health care program, Health hospice and an althernative programs. 3. At present, a regular health check-ups for the elderly is not included in medical insurance program so that it is recommended to be included in the insurance program and at the same time health education program thoroughly developed for the aged. 4. To make proper medical and nursing services on chronic diseases for the elderly, it is recommended manpower development, specialized clinics or hospitals, nursing homes and an equivalent long term care facilitices should be established on the community based and a research institutions also to be related to supper the care programs.

Nowadays, IT for CRM has been growing and developed rapidly. Typical techniques are statistical analysis tools, on-line multidimensional analytical processing (OLAP) tools, and data mining algorithms (such neural networks, decision trees, and association rules). Among customer data, web log data is very important and to use these data efficiently, applying OLAP technology to analyze multi-dimensionally. To make OLAP cube, we have to precalculate multidimensional summary results in order to get fast response. But as the number of dimensions and sparse cells increases, data explosion occurs seriously and the performance of OLAP decreases. In this paper, we presented why the web log data sparsity occurs and then what kinds of sparsity patterns generate in the two and t.he three dimensions for OLAP. Based on this research, we set up the multidimensional data models and query models for benchmark with each sparsity patterns. Finally, we evaluated the performance of three OLAP systems (MS SQL 2000 Analysis Service, Oracle Express and C-MOLAP).

Distributed Content Delivering Network (DCDN) will make use of the existing resources of the common Internet users in terms of storage space, bandwidth and Internet connectivity to create it. However DCDN has some limitations that are inefficient using of storage space, reliability and having special load balancing (LB) algorithm. So, this paper proposes Re-distribution based CDN (RDCDN) that overcomes the limitations of DCDN. RDCDN has the content re-distribution algorithm and separates surrogates to main surrogate and sub surrogates. Main surrogate can help service reliability be improved by storing all contents as back-up system. And content re-distribution algorithm also can help storage space be saved because all contents are not stored in every surrogate. Especially, when RDCwDN uses content re-distribution algorithm, it can work active load balancing function without extra LB algorithm like as DCDN. Results of simulation show that the proposed architecture can improve reliability and efficiency of storage space, and it also can offer the same performance as that of commercial CDN and DCDN.
