This paper introduces the research and development of automatic generation technology to develop the character agent. The R&D of this technology includes three major elements-body model generation, automatic motion generation and synthetic human generation. Main areas of application would be cyber space- 3D game, animation, virtual shopping, on line chatting, virtual education system, simulation and security system.

Benefit-cost analysis is one of key elements of feasibility study on a large scale investment for transportation infrastructure improvements. Benefit-cost analysis requires measuring expected benefits after the investment is completed. Reduction of delays is the major source for the benefit among other measurable benefits. Measurement methods for delays reduction have been reviewed and two methods were recommended for passenger delay and aircraft operation delay. Using these method, the effects of Cheju International Airport Improvement Projects were evaluated.

In this paper major subject is to investigate the measurement errors affecting on the determination of observation numbers, which are required for work measurement, to set up the standard work time. The main consider is, however, with clarification of the differences between measurement errors in case of cycle operation being observed based on the continuous and the work elements observation.

Measuring the river flow and water quality in the midstream of the Nakdong River, the natural purification status in examined through the analyses of the elements which affect the variation of dissolved oxygen, and DO model is evaluated to the midstream reach of the river. The major results of this study are as follows; the pruification factor of the of the river is relatively high, it is worried over eutrophication considering much production of algae, and it is evaluated that important factor affecting the DO value computed by the proposed DO model are in order of reaeration coefficient, carbonaceous BOD and deoxygenation constant.

In this study, the wireless communication system configuration and major equipments for KNGR will be introduced. Also the reliability and safety impact on the KNGR will be checked by reviewing /testing the EMI/RFI conditions of wireless communication system, The elements of the wireless communication system are radio exchange, base stations, portable telephone handsets.

A major impediment in using the Dempster-Shafer evidence combination scheme is its computational complexity, which in general is exponential since DS scheme allows any subsets over the frame of discernment as focal elements. To avoid this problem, we propose a method called approximate evidence combination scheme. This scheme is applied to a few sample applications and the experiment results are compared with those of VBS. The results show that the approximation scheme achieves a great amount of computational speedup and produces belief values within the range of deviation that the expert allows.

The causes of disease as well as the mechanisms that result in the presenting signs and symptoms of patients are basic elements in oriental medicine. The location of the disease is the region on which the cause and the nature of the disease acts. Syndrome reflects the cause of the disease and the pathological change and the location of the disease. It is customary to classify the location of the disease into two major categories. First is based on the exterior and interior and the second is based on the five internal organs. Exterior syndrome is caused by the invasion of exopathogen in skin and hair, channels and collaterals. Interior syndrome refers to the syndrome located deeply in the interior of the body such as five internal organs. The location of the disease is very important to distinguish different syndromes in the diagnosis and the treatment of a disease.

Thin-walled multicell box girders subjected to an eccentric load can be produced the three global behaviors of flexure, torsion, and distortion. But it is very difficult to evaluate each influences of major behaviors numerically. If we can decompose an eccentric load P into flexural, torsional, and distortional forces, we can execute quantitative analysis each influences of major behaviors. Decomposition of Applied Load for Thin-walled Rectangular multi-cell box girders is researched by Park, Nam-Hoi(Development of a multicell Box Beam Element Including Distortional Degrees of Freedom, 2003). But researches about thin-walled trapezoidal multi-cell section is insufficient. So, this paper deals with decomposition process and independent analysis method of multi-cell box girders include trapezoidal section.

In this paper, we develop a framework for identifying the quality of service(QoS) and network performance (NP) in the IMT-2000 services, and analyze the QoS/NP system in the 3GPP IMT-2000 services. Based on the ITU-T E.800, the QoS is classified into customer, technical, contents, telecommunications quality, and internet communication quality, and the NP consists of the service access/transmission, reliability/operating & maintenance, charging performance, and mobility management performance. Under the basic framework, the major parameters in the IMT-2000 services are identified for each QoS/NP criterion. The QoS framework in the IMT-2000 user aspects is also introduced to determine the major QoS parameters. Finally, to define the performance factors of the network elements in the NP system, the various control parameters for the wireless and core networks are presented.

The major purpose of this study was to develop with priority given to the discourse on the correlation between interpersonal resources and home management behavior for family life satisfaction. So, this study was to identify the perception of equity in marital life, through which dynamic aspects is measured with family resource. Some of the major findings are as follows : The perception of equity in marital life show a significant difference by the state of employment and the degree of communication in couple. Housewives'home management behavior show a significant difference by the perception of equity in marital life. It appears that intra system dynamics elements explain housewives'home management behavior. From the Regression Analysis, the Model was found to be highly significant, accounting for 63% of the variances. Especially, housewives'family life satisfaction is influenced by the perception of daily life equity capable of evaluating each of a married couples'contribution and reward for family life lather than perception of psychological-emotional equity.
