A sample of 450 women who attended a physical fitness program in the Ulsan area was selected to study some environmental factors associated with obesity. The women were grouped into two categories, obese and nonobese, based on body mass index(kg/$m^2$). Average BMI of the total subjects was 24.3$\pm$4.8, but 34.7% of the subjects rated equal to or ore than 25 type, which can be considered as obese. The results showed that age, employment status, family type, and food frequency score have a statistically significant association with obesity. However, education level, nutrition knowledge, availability of housemaids, family history of obesity, and house type are not related to obesity . There were no differences in sources of nutrition information between the obese and the nonobese. The above results suggest that health education programs should consider environmental factors as well as health factors in preventing obesity obesity in the community.

The growth processes of improved methods for MBE, LPE and $\mu$ - PD methods are discussed taking the oxide materials, especially those of Bi - Sr - Ca - Cu family $LiNbO_3$ and $K_3Li_2Nb_5O_{15}$ family as examples. It is suggested that the crystal growth far from equilibr iu m including composition homogeneity has been achieved to satisfy in understanding and controlling the atomic interfaces.

This study examined how financial education, impulsive buying, and socio-demographic factors affect saving behavior of 500 Korean college students. The descriptive results show that students who received financial education reported more positive saving behavior compared to students who did not receive financial education in school. The OLS results indicate that all else being equal, students with financial education reported more positive saving behavior than those without financial education. As predictors of saving behavior among Korean college students, the OLS results also reveal that impulsive buying, gender, and age were statistically significant. This study concludes that receiving financial education early, such as in elementary school, plays an important role in determining the saving behavior of Korean college students.

Cohousing is communities balance the traditional advantages of home ownership with the benefits of shared common facilities and ongoing connections with your neighbors. It is characterized by private dwellings with their own kitchen living-dining room etc, but also extensive common facilities. These cooperative neighborhoods are one of the most promising solutions to many of today's most challenging social and environmental concerns. The purpose of this study is suggest planning direction to cohousing as alternative house. It focuses on the planning method through case study. The result of the study are summarized as follow ; Size of cohousing is 20${\sim}$50 family. Location of cohousing is urban. Type of house is detached house+row house. Size per family is 0${\sim}$15m$^2$. Common house makes up kitchen, dining-room living-room, guest room nursery room and so on.

The Wiskott-Aldrich Syndrome Protein family Verprolin - homologous proteins (WAVEs), encoded by a metastasis promoter gene, play considerable roles in adhesion of immune cells, cell proliferation, migration and destruction of foreign agents by reactive oxygen species. These diverse functions have lead to the hypothesis that WAVE proteins have multi-functional roles in regulating cancer invasiveness, metastasis, development of tumor vasculature and angiogenesis. Differentials in expression of WAVE proteins are associated with a number of neoplasms include colorectal cancer, hepatocellular cancer, lung squamous cell carcinoma, human breast adenocarcinoma and prostate cancer. In this review we attempt to unify our knowledge regarding WAVE proteins, focusing on their potentials as diagnostic markers and molecular targets for cancer therapy.

The family of q-Laguerre polynomials $\{L_n^{(\alpha)}({\cdot};q)\}_{n=0}^{\infty}$ is usually defined for 0 < q < 1 and ${\alpha}$ > -1. We extend this family to a new one in which arbitrary complex values of the parameter ${\alpha}$ are allowed. These so-called generalized q-Laguerre polynomials fulfil the same three term recurrence relation as the original ones, but when the parameter ${\alpha}$ is a negative integer, no orthogonality property can be deduced from Favard's theorem. In this work we introduce non-standard inner products involving q-derivatives with respect to which the generalized q-Laguerre polynomials $\{L_n^{(-N)}({\cdot};q)\}_{n=0}^{\infty}$, for positive integers N, become orthogonal.

The purpose of this study is the development of PBL(problem-based learning) system using visual C++5.0 as a window-based application program. A patient who complains of weight loss was used in PBL case. Initial frame is made by dialog-based in MFC(microsoft foundation class). Also, sample medical images are composed of ultra-sound, chest PA, Thyroid scan, otherwise. we will make this program as CD-ROM and the internet application or computer assisted learning and continuous medical education.

The RAS family of oncoproteins has been studied extensively for almost three decades. While we know that activation of RAS represents a key feature of malignant transformation for many cancers, we are only now beginning to understand the complex underpinnings of RAS biology. Here, we will discuss emerging cancer genome sequencing data in the context of what is currently known about RAS function. Taken together, retrospective studies of primary human tissues and prospective studies of experimental models support the notion that the variable mutation frequencies exhibited by the RAS oncogenes reflect unique functions of the RAS oncoproteins.

A large family of distributions arising from distributions of ordered data is proposed which contains other models studied in the literature. This extension subsume many cases of weighted random variables such as order statistics, records, k-records and many others in variety. Such a distribution can be used for modeling data which are not identical in distribution. Some properties of the theoretical model such as moment, mean deviation, entropy criteria, symmetry and unimodality are derived. The proposed model also studies the problem of parameter estimation and derives maximum likelihood estimators in a weighted gamma distribution. Finally, it will be shown that the proposed model is the best among the previously introduced distributions for modeling a real data set.

Two species of crabs, Homola orientalis Henderson, 1888 and Pseudomicippe nipponica (Sakai, 1938), are described and illustrated for the first time in Korea. Homola orientalis was collected at 30 m depth by trap from Busan, and P. nipponica was collected on the intertidal region in Seongsanpo, Jejudo Island. Homola orientalis is the first species of its family in the region. The family Homoldae is characterized by a linea homolica on the carapace and they carry camouflage in the form of sponges or cnidarians with subchelate of the fourth ambulatory legs. The Korean brachyuran fauna now comprises 223 species including the new records from this study.
