The use of electrokinetic dissipation method to study the fluid flow law in micro-pores is of great significance to reservoir rock microfluidics. In this paper, the micro-capillary theory was combined with the coupling model of the seepage field and the current field under the excitation of the harmonic signal, and the coupling theory of the electrokinetic effect under the first-order approximation condition was derived. The dissipation equation of electrokinetic dissipation and viscous resistance dissipation and its solution were established by using Green's function method. The physical and mathematical models for the electrokinetic dissipation of reservoir rocks were constructed. The microscopic mechanism of the electrokinetic dissipation of reservoir rock were theoretically clarified. The influencing factors of the electrokinetic dissipation frequency of the reservoir rock were analyzed quantitatively. The results show that the electrokinetic effect transforms the fluid flow profile in the pores of the reservoir from parabolic to wavy; under low-frequency conditions, the apparent viscosity coefficient is greater that one and is basically unchanged. The apparent viscosity coefficient gradually approaches 1 as the frequency increases further. The viscous resistance dissipation is two orders of magnitude higher than the electrokinetic effect dissipation. When the concentration of the electrolyte exceeds 0.1mol/L, the electrokinetic dissipation can be neglected, while for the electrolyte solution (<$10^{-2}M$) in low concentration, the electrokinetic dissipation is very significant and cannot be ignored.

Fluctuating wind conditions necessitate the use of a variable speed wind turbine (VSWT) with a AC/DC/AC converter scheme in order to harvest the maximum power from the wind and to decouple the synchronous generator voltage and frequency from the grid voltage and frequency. In this paper, a combination of a three phase diode bridge rectifier (DBR) and a modified topology of the diode clamped multilevel inverter (DCMLI) has been considered as an AC/DC/AC converter. A control strategy has been proposed for the DCMLI to achieve the objective of grid interface of a wind power system together with local load compensation. A novel fixed frequency current control method is proposed for the DCMLI based on the level shifted multi carrier PWM for achieving the required control objectives with equal and uniform switching frequency operation for better control and thermal management with the modified DCMLI. The condition of the controller gain is derived to ensure the operation of the DCMLI at the fixed frequency of the carrier. The converter current injected into the distribution grid is controlled in accordance with the wind power availability. In addition, load compensation is performed as an added facility in order to free the source currents being fed from the grid of harmonic distortion, unbalance and a low power factor even though the load may be unbalanced, non-linear and of a poor power factor. The results are validated using PSCAD/EMTDC simulation studies.

In this paper, a continuous-time filter for low voltage and high frequency applications using fully-balanced current integrators is presented. As the balanced structure of integrator circuits, the designed filter has improved noise characteristics and wide dynamic range since even-order harmonics are cancelled and the input signal range is doubled. Using complementary current mirrors, bias circuits are simplified and the cutoff frequency of filters can be controlled easily by a single DC bias current. As a design example, the 3rd-order lowpass Butterworth filter with a leapfrog realization is designed. The designed fully-balanced current-mode filter is simulated and examined by SPICE using 0.65${\mu}{\textrm}{m}$ CMOS n-well process parameters. The simulation results show 50MHz cutoff frequency, 69㏈ dynamic range with 1% total harmonic distortion(THD), and 4㎽ power dissipation with a 3V supply voltage.
In this paper, we aims to develop a microcontroll er-based ECG monitoring system and portable pulse oximeter using Compact Flash Interface. First, portable pulse oximeter system is designed to record 2 channel of biosignals simultaneously, including 1 channel of $SpO_2$ and 1 channel of pulse rate. It is very small and portable. Besides, the system makes it possible to measure a patient's condition without an additional medical equipment. We tried to solve the problems generated by a patient's motion. That is, we added an analog circuit to a traditional pulse oximeter in order to eliminate the change of the base line. And we used 2D sector algorithm. As present, SpO2 modules are completed. But there are still many further development needed in order to enhance the function. Especially, compact falsh interface remains the most to complete. Second, ECG monitoring system uses almost same as present 3-lead ECG system. But we focus on the analog part, especially in filter. The proposed filter is composed of two parts. One is a filter to remove the power-line interface. The other is a filter to remove the baseline drift. A filter to remove the power-line and the baseline drift is necessarily used in the ECG system. The implemented filter have three features; minimizing the distortion in DC component, removing the harmonic component of power-line frequency. Using compact flash interface, we can easily transfer a patient's personal information and the measured signal data to a network based server environment. That means, it is possible to implement a patient's monitoring system with low cost.

Reaction Wheel Assembly (RWA) is one of the major disturbance sources that have influence upon the Line of Sight (LOS) of payload. A micro-vibration induced by RWA is propagated through the satellite structure and decrease the LOS stability performance of payload. This effect shall be analyzed through the jitter analysis. If a requirement or specification of payload jitter level is found to be not satisfied according to the jitter analysis campaign, some modification or redesign should be done on the satellite structure or a couple of isolator should be attached on the RWA interface in order to reduce the transmitted vibration level of RWA. The purpose of ???RWA isolator test? is to roughly evaluate the performance of vibration suppression level with a passive RWA isolator made of rubber. For this test, actual RWA is used as a vibration source and a couple of cube-shaped rubber mount designed for satellite is used as a passive isolator. There may be several considerations in order to accommodate RWA isolator to spacecraft such as not only vibration reduction performance but also thermal conduction problem, mechanical size, RWA alignment problem, etc. But in this report the feasibility of RWA isolator is analyzed only in a vibration suppression point of view. As a result, high frequency vibration of RWA above 50Hz is perfectly attenuated with isolators, however, first harmonic components below 50Hz became larger due to the additional low frequency resonance modes of roll, pitch, yaw rigid body motion of RWA+bracket.

The input current of three phase rectifier which is mainly used in the propulsion system of the electric propulsion ship includes a variety of low order harmonics. To reduce these harmonics, the power conversion system, used in the large vessels which high power is required, is currently used the rectifiers of 12-pulse output, but it still has a problem that occurs $12{\pm}1$ harmonics. Also, in the case of the direct torque control technique which is widely used for the speed and torque control, the torque ripple is severe and the input current of motor has greatly included harmonics by the switching of the inverter. In order to reduce harmonics and improve the performance of torque control, this paper presents that the auxiliary supply assisted into the 12-pulse rectifier of the electric propulsion system using direct torque control technique. We confirm the validity of the proposed method through the simulation under the environment of a real vessel system.
In order to achieve the high quality output voltage of single-phase voltage source inverters, in this paper an Adaptive Complementary Sliding Mode Control (ACSMC) is proposed. Firstly, the dynamics model of the single-phase inverter with lumped uncertainty including parameter variations and external disturbances is derived. Then, the conventional Sliding Mode Control (SMC) and Complementary Sliding Mode Control (CSMC) are introduced separately. However, when system parameters vary or external disturbance occurs, the controlling performance such as tracking error, response speed et al. always could not satisfy the requirements based on the SMC and CSMC methods. Consequently, an ACSMC is developed. The ACSMC is composed of a CSMC term, a compensating control term and a filter parameters estimator. The compensating control term is applied to compensate for the system uncertainties, the filter parameters estimator is used for on-line LC parameter estimation by the proposed adaptive law. The adaptive law is derived using the Lyapunov theorem to guarantee the closed-loop stability. In order to decrease the control system cost, an inductor current estimator is developed. Finally, the effectiveness of the proposed controller is validated through Matlab/Simulink and experiments on a prototype single-phase inverter test bed with a TMS320LF28335 DSP. The simulation and experimental results show that compared to the conventional SMC and CSMC, the proposed ACSMC control strategy achieves more excellent performance such as fast transient response, small steady-state error, and low total harmonic distortion no matter under load step change, nonlinear load with inductor parameter variation or external disturbance.
It is essential that second order nonlinear optical materials have low optical propagation losses in the wavelengths of second harmonic generation for practical applications in waveguides. Three dipolar chromophores substituted with nitro, cyano, and alkyl sulfone as an electron withdrawing group were prepared. The UV-Vis absorption spectra of the cyano and alkylsulfone chromophores showed a blue-shift compared to the nitro chromophore. The introduction of oxadiazole segment in the chromophore structure led to similar spectral shift. The blue-shift can produce low optical loses at second harmonics. The chromophores were successfully attached to a polyimide, yielding side chain polymers. The nonlinear optical property of the prepared optical polymers was determined by measuring electro-optic coefficient at 1.55 mm. The polymers exhibited high glass transition temperature of over $185^{\circ}C$ and thermal stability to $300^{\circ}C$ through differential scanning calorimeter analysis and thermal gravimetric analysis.

In this paper, the PV system with a link to the commercial system needs some advantages like small capacity, high power factor, high reliability, low harmonic output, maximum power operation of solar cell, and low cost, etc. as well as the properties of inverter. To transfer the PV energy of photovoltaic power generation system to the system and load, it requires PCS in both directions. The purpose of this paper is to confirm the stable power supply through the load leveling by presenting the PCS considering ESS of photovoltaic power generation. In order to achieve these purpose, 5 step process of operation mode algorithm were used according to the solar insolation amount and load capacity and the controller for charging/ discharging control was designed. For bidirectional and effective energy transfer, the bidirectional converter and battery at DC-link stage were connected and the DC-link voltage and inverter output voltage through the interactive inverter were controlled. In order to prove the validity of the suggested system, the simulation using PSIM was performed and were reviewed for its validity and stability. The 3[kW] PCS was manufactured and its test was conducted in order to check this situation. In addition, the system characteristics suggested through the test results was verified and the PCS system presented in this study was excellent and stronger than that of before system.

Recently, fuel cell with high energy efficiency and low CO2 emission is energetically interconnected with power system. Especially, FCGS(Fuel Cell Generation System) which usually operates at high temperature, is being developed and installed in the form of large scale system. However, it is reported that power system disturbances related to surge, harmonic and EMI have caused several problems such as malfunction of protection device and damage of control device in the large scale FCGS. In order to solve these problems, this paper presents a modeling of operation characteristics of FCGS by PSCAD/EMTDC, ETAP, P-SIM software. And also, this paper proposes countermeasure algorithms to prevent power system disturbances. From the simulation results, it is confirmed that the proposed algorithm is useful method for the stable operation of large scale FCGS.
