This study is about the present condition of facilities for the disabled at elementary schools in Ulsan and improvement plan of facilities for the disabled. The important thing of tasks of societies and nations is rights to education for the disabled. If an education is natural rights that give people identification, Societies and nations do their best to adapting anyone no matter who has any circumstance to civilization. The more people are poor, the more Societies and nations support and give them chance to education. Among people who really need the chance to education, there was the disabled. Therefore, societies and nations support them carefully more than any others. Above all things, considering the fact that separation to integration of a education for the disabled, facilities for the disabled that can base on an integrated education must be improved as soon as possible. An integrated education contribute to growing sociality and security of human rights for the disabled. It is natural that basic facilities are necessary for the disabled. A systematic program development that make ordinary students look fairly disabled students is really demanded for that ordinary students give disabled students love and help.

This design proposal was accepted to a design competition for the improvement of Indi Youth Street, Mapo-Gu, which was held by the Seoul Metropolitan Government in June, 2000. The \`Hong-ik University District\` projected area consists of several streets, where the independent and youth culture unique to this area is blossoming-Indi music, underground arts, and historic meaning of the area as an estuary of Mapo. The site is also expected to attract many citizens and fereigners because of convenient accessibility of the new subway station to the Inchon International Airport and because of many attractions on the street- foods, music, art and people. Accordingly, the proposal set the main design concept of this project as \`the Street of Youth Culture\` considering its special and social status as well as the physical improvement of the street environment. With this concept in mind, the proposal designed the improvement of the physical conditions based on the motive of \`the Street of Youth Culture\`, having Indi/under art, Indi/ under music, Indi/under drama and Indi/multimedia animation. This design proposal of the Street of Youth Culture consist of three segments, which symbolize the millenium Youth Plaza, MultiMedia Animation Pocket and Arts Exhibition Pocket based on unity and balance. This plan has the ultimate aim of making the district one of the people\`s favorite streets in Seoul, which people love to visit again and find the vivacity of the new millennium youth culture.

This study aims to compare the relationship between the Berg Balance Scale (BBS) scores, Timed Up & Go (TUG), Functional Independent Measure (FIM), and subject characteristics. All of the 18 subjects were women between the ages of 68 and 91 (mean=80.2, SD=5.43), and they all lived at the nursing home in Wonju. Balance was measured using BBS, and functional mobility was measured using TUG. FIM was used to evaluate functional independence. Data were analyzed using Spearman correlation. Statistically significant differences were noted between BBS and TUG (r=-.486, p<.05). There were no significant statistical differences between total FIM and BBS, TUG. The FIM items "locomotion" and "communication" showed significant statistical differences between BBS and TUG. The results suggest that FIM may be able to predict dangerous falls in elderly people.

Archival symposium was a time when men thought thoroughly about what archives were, and to carefully record such thoughts. In the time of archival symposium, I observed the people archiving. To bring out a thought for a man was a physical action that moves his own desire, language, emotion and senses simultaneously. In philosophy thought is not merely a logical and cognitive act. Thought is a physical act that includes logical thinking, feeling, emotion, will, and on. When there is a emotional change in the body, an idea about that change forms. Emotional change acts as a force that increases, decreases, accelerate and hinder the body's abilities. However, there were no suggestions for philosophical concepts from the start. Love is not taught by someone. At some point without oneself knowing we start love and really experience with our bodies what love is, and in this repeat love and undergo all these emotions. Would not the overall story of life be as such. It is different from building a car in a factory. When the archival symposium starts, we asked you to think about what archives are, and to record with such thoughts as reference. Archival symposium is still a proper noun. With the wish for it to become a general term, I report on the process and meaning of archival experiment that is the archival symposium.

Not much is known about Korean clothes from past centuries. Fortunately, we are able to make some inferences based on various sources of data other than the actual clothes themselves. Historical records such as Kim Hong-do's Pungsokhwa Pieces, well known to us, vividly depict features of the costume and the lifestyle of his time along with contemporary Korean humor and atmosphere. Kim Hong-do is the artist who, having accomplished pictorial refinement, recognized social change and took this into his artistic world late in the 18th century. The ruling classes, in contrast, tended to adhere to anachronistic medieval philosophies in a gradually changing society. In this study, Kim Hong-do's Pungsokhwachop, Treasure No. 527, preserved in the National Museum of Korea, was viewed from a new perspective, and it was discovered to have assorted the costume and culture of ordinary people according to their life styles. Fourteen of the pieces depicted how common citizens made their living, three described love affairs, five depicted people at play, md the rest showed elements of education, wedding ceremonies, and shamanism, respectively. Various types of clothing were observed reflecting the life styles of ordinary people, and a somewhat bold exposure of body was noticed in women's fashion in the late Chosun Dynasty. They chose clothing as they pleased to fit their jobs and functions, which produced elegant self-regulation and creativity based on practical beauty. A hat - yet to be found as a relic - appeared in Blacksmith's Workshop, and revealed the changing social customs of the late Chosun Dynasty in the 18th century. It is hoped that the results of this study will serve as a valuable reference point for the globalization of Korean clothes.

In old days when there were no developed producing devices like today, all the scholars insisted that we should economize products and that will lead to economic stability of a nation. But the in case of Mozi, he criticized the ruler's extravagance and wastefulness. He tried to prove the result and its' effect on national economy and people's usual life. He also tried to protect and improve people's fortunes and productivity through his theories. He is one of the first scholars who thought about the relationship between labor cost, price theory and product circulation. His theories are in the book of Mojing. He thought that material condition makes a great impact on the people's ethical life and social systems. He devoted his life to improve his theory- if the nobility do not waste and exploit; the national economy will be developed. In Mozi's Economical theory, we can find out his love for the people and desire for the people's welfare.

In the modern society, we have come to recognize human emotions such as anxiety, fear, pain, anger, sadness, longing, desire and pleasure as important topics of philosophy. How shall we study the 'problem of emotions', or in a bigger sense, the 'problem of empathy'? With this critical mind, the research into empathy can be called as a starting point for studying the deepest feelings and thoughts of human beings in connection with the feelings of other people. Most of all, in order to understand other people and to understand human being itself, the role of sympathy or empathy has been emphasized among the problems of emotions, and this trend is especially distinctive in the philosophy of psychology. I definitely acknowledge that empathy or sympathy takes loneliness and agony away from a human being and therefore it is the starting point of communication between people. However, the very fundamental question of 'what are human beings, and who are they?' is once again reminded. In other words, this thesis focuses on the fact that humans are viewed not only as the existence with a soul or heart, but also as a "unique existence" containing something "material-, life- and spiritual", and in that sense, this world is an ecological organism that contains organic connections of humans, material things, plants and animals, which should be the point of view for approach. And it is also emphasized in this study to approach the question about human beings from the religious spirituality point of view that the society with true love for neighbors could be achieved through religious practices that provide principles and value.

This paper is examining the ideological underpinnings of Park Jin-young[朴震英]. He was intellectual activity is based on Haman[咸安] Gyeongsang-namdo[慶尙南道]. And He was causing the Righteous Army[義兵] saved the country from the crisis of Imjin War[壬辰倭亂, 1592~1598] and the Byongja War[丙子胡亂, 1636~1637] in Mid-Joseon[朝鮮] Dynasty. Therefore, he had to practice patriotism and love people. The purpose of this paper is centered on the acts of Park Jin-young to focus on its ideological foundation to be sure. A cause[大義名分] was laying on the side and the real meaning of the terms of participation and his a far-sighted view [達觀] ever conduct of life[處世] divided into such discussions were developed. In addition, the formation of his ideas around the Jung gu[鄭逑] influenced correlating it with the teacher and student relationships were investigated. Park Jin-young is Im-Byeong War[壬丙兩難] since emerged on the Joseon [朝鮮] Social Jon-ju[尊周] thought was one of the representative figures. His mentor Jung gu was the cause, seriously. And he cause, the influence of the teacher very seriously here was typical of that era. The people loved teacher. And his disciples to overcome difficulties that influence the Righteous Army sought to raise the country. His teachers have taught him Confucian influence. And behave appropriately when life. Park Jin-young acted appropriately when affected by such a life. Consequently, he was a true intellectual in those times.

The purpose of this phenomenological study was to understand and describe the essence and the structure of lived experience of people with kidney transplantation. Initially, nine individual interviews were conducted to gather data regarding their subjective experiences. And two focus group interviews were utilized to validate or discard the themes that were emerged from the analysis using Colaizzi's method. Among 17 participants, 13 had living related kidney donations, one living unrelated, and the remaining two cadavor donations. About 130 significant statements were extracted and these were clustered into 11 themes. All participants felt anxiety and fear toward the rejection of transplantation and the complication of immunosuppressive drugs. Although they were initially satisfied with their life after kidney transplantation, most of them lost a self-confidence and experienced loneliness, depression, and despair. Most of the participants also felt guilty for not being able to accomplish their appropriate roles in the family, They also had financial difficulties and social restrictions. However, they overcame these psychosocial distress by exercising, working and sharing love with others. They also could overcome it by living a religious life and by working to help others with kidney transplantations. Most of them felt gratitude toward the donor and did not have a psychological rejection toward the kidney transplanted. The results of the study might help nurses who work with people with kidney transplantations in establishing and implementing an effective nursing intervention by understanding their lived experience.

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to explore and describe life-stories and meanings of life in wives of alcoholics by analyzing their autobiographies. Methods: Autobiographies were collected from 20 participants who produced their own autobiographies in the logotherapeutic autobiography program at community alcohol counseling centers in Korea. The data were coded to identify themes of agency and communion using the manual coding system developed by McAdams, and analyzed by the existential approach. Results: There were 214 coded episodes in twenty autobiographies. There were 128 agency themes and 86 communion themes. The most common themes were Love/Friendship. Five themes emerged from the autobiographical episodes on the existential perspective: 1) overcoming the suffering, 2) meaningful people and relationships, 3) spiritual maturation, 4) caring and helping, and 5) finding a meaning of life. Conclusion: These results showed that the wives of alcoholics who participated in the logotherapeutic autobiography program found the meaning of life through their suffering. Furthermore, a study on existential nursing interventions for people who have meaninglessness in life needs to be done.
