노인 돌봄여성의 생활만족도 영향 요인: 노인장기요양보험 인정여부를 중심으로 (Factors Relevant to Life Satisfaction of Female Caregivers for the Elderly: Focused on Long-Term Care Insurance Settlement)

  • The purpose of this study was to examine the influence of long-term care insurance(LTCI) settlement on life satisfaction of female caregivers for the elderly. In September of 2013, we conducted a survey of 300 female subjects over 65 years old living in Jeonju. For empirical verification, ${\chi}^2$, t-test and regression under control of socio-economic variables were applied to determine whether LTCI settlements changed the level of life satisfaction of female caregivers. First, the results showed that caregivers who were not covered by LTCI had higher healthy life satisfaction than those covered with LTCI. Second, life satisfaction of female caregivers is higher when income and education levels are higher. Third, LTCI settlement did not affect five sub factors of caregivers' life satisfaction. The results suggested that LTCI policy should cover not only the insured but also caregivers'physical and mental aspects.

  • Demands for electricity are growing, whereas the rate of electricity infrastructure's construction declines gradually. To keep the balance of the demand and supply, the share of underground transmission line will be increased from 8.3% to 10.5% in 2020 but it will be accompanied with enormous public expenses. A great concern in high capacity transmission is on the increase so as to maximize the spacial efficiency. High Temperature Superconducting (HTS) cable is in the lime light which has the merits of environment-friendly, low transmission loss and high transmission with low voltage, but the reliability verification as a power system is yet to be solved. KEPCO completed the installation and acceptance of $3{\phi}$, 22.9kV, 1250A class HTS cable system in 2006 and the long term test is in progress. The test results focusing on long term reliability are presented in this paper.

A SE Approach for Machine Learning Prediction of the Response of an NPP Undergoing CEA Ejection Accident

  • Exploring artificial intelligence and machine learning for nuclear safety has witnessed increased interest in recent years. To contribute to this area of research, a machine learning model capable of accurately predicting nuclear power plant response with minimal computational cost is proposed. To develop a robust machine learning model, the Best Estimate Plus Uncertainty (BEPU) approach was used to generate a database to train three models and select the best of the three. The BEPU analysis was performed by coupling Dakota platform with the best estimate thermal hydraulics code RELAP/SCDAPSIM/MOD 3.4. The Code Scaling Applicability and Uncertainty approach was adopted, along with Wilks' theorem to obtain a statistically representative sample that satisfies the USNRC 95/95 rule with 95% probability and 95% confidence level. The generated database was used to train three models based on Recurrent Neural Networks; specifically, Long Short-Term Memory, Gated Recurrent Unit, and a hybrid model with Long Short-Term Memory coupled to Convolutional Neural Network. In this paper, the System Engineering approach was utilized to identify requirements, stakeholders, and functional and physical architecture to develop this project and ensure success in verification and validation activities necessary to ensure the efficient development of ML meta-models capable of predicting of the nuclear power plant response.

재 제조 태양광모듈의 내구성능 평가 연구 (Durability Evaluation Study of Re-manufactured Photovoltaic Modules)

  • Photovoltaic (PV) power generation is the world's best and largest renewable energy that generates electricity with infinite sunlight. Solar cell modules are a component of photovoltaic power generation and must have a long-term durability of at least 25 years. The development of processes and equipment that can be recovered through the recycling of metals and valuable metals when the solar module's lifespan is over has been completed to the level of commercialization, but few processes have been developed that require repair due to initial defects. This is mainly due to the economic problems caused by remaking. However, if manufacturing processes such as repairing solar cell modules that have been proven to be early defects are established and the technical review of long-term reliability and durability reaches a certain level, it is considered that it will be a recommended process technology for environmental economics. In this paper, assuming that a defective solar cell module occurs artificially, a manufacturing process for replacement of solar cells was developed, and a technical verification of the manufacturing technology was conducted through long-term durability evaluation in accordance with KS C 8561. Through this, it was determined that remanufacturing technology for solar cell replacement of solar cell modules that occurred in a short period of time after installation was possible, and the research results were announced through a journal to commercialize solar modules using manufacturing technology in the solar market in the future.

BIS 자료를 이용한 중장기 버스 통행시간 예측 (Long-term Prediction of Bus Travel Time Using Bus Information System Data)

  • 최근 국내에서는 대도시권의 교통혼잡 완화를 위하여 다양한 대중교통 활성화 정책을 시행중에 있다. 특히 대도시권역에서는 버스정보시스템이 도입되어 버스의 현재위치, 도착예정시간 등에 대한 정보를 제공하고 있다. 하지만 복잡한 도시부를 지나는 버스들의 경우 반복적인 교통혼잡과 버스몰림으로 인하여 정확한 통행시간 정보제공 시 정확도를 확보하는데 어려움이 있다. 기존 버스 통행시간 연구는 링크별 소통정보 제공방식으로 인하여 버스 이용자의 경로 통행시간 정보 제공 시 어려움이 있고, 데이터 기반의 단기 통행방식으로 중장기 정보 제공이 어렵다는 한계가 있다. 이에 본 연구에서는 경로기반의 중장기 버스통행시간 예측 방법론에 대한 연구를 실시한다. 이를 위하여 2015년 버스통행정보로 학습데이터, 2016년 자료로 검증데이터를 구성하였다. 학습데이터를 이용하여 버스통행정보를 분석하여 버스통행시간에 영향을 미치는 요인들을 출발시각, 요일, 그리고 기상요인 등으로 분류하고, 이들의 특성 값을 자기조직화지도를 활용하여 비슷한 통행 패턴을 가지는 군집으로 분류하였다. 도출된 군집들을 바탕으로 맑음과 우천시에 대한 요일/출발시각 별 버스통행시간 참조 테이블을 구성하였다. 검증데이터를 이용하여 본 연구에서 도출한 버스통행시간의 정확도를 검증하였다. 본 연구의 중장기 예측 알고리즘을 활용하여 기존의 직관적이고 경험적인 접근법의 한계를 극복할 수 있으며, 예측의 정확도 개선을 통한 버스이용자 만족도 향상 및 탄력적인 대중교통 정책 수립이 가능할 것으로 판단된다.

  • Calibration and gauge factor readjustment process made for the health monitoring system installed in the railway bridges is reviewed and some findings are explained in this study: specifically, the calibrators made for this purpose are illustrated and the regression processes of the calibration on long-term displacement using water level sensor, longitudinal displacement using LVDT sensor, instantaneous displacement using LVDT sensors and accelerometer are described in details. Based on the regression results, new gauge factors are obtained from regression equation and another verification is made by performing another calibration again with new factors. From the second calibration, it was found that the suggested regression curves and their factors are appropriate and much better results are expected. Future work will be concentrated on the long-term analysis of the measurement data and on the database structures so that the assessment of the structure such as damage detection and remaining life estimation is possible.

LSTM-based Sales Forecasting Model

  • In this study, prediction of product sales as they relate to changes in temperature is proposed. This model uses long short-term memory (LSTM), which has shown excellent performance for time series predictions. For verification of the proposed sales prediction model, the sales of short pants, flip-flop sandals, and winter outerwear are predicted based on changes in temperature and time series sales data for clothing products collected from 2015 to 2019 (a total of 1,865 days). The sales predictions using the proposed model show increases in the sale of shorts and flip-flops as the temperature rises (a pattern similar to actual sales), while the sale of winter outerwear increases as the temperature decreases.

FTA 원산지검증행정의 효율화 방안에 대한 연구 (A Study on FTA-related Administrative Efficiency Measures for Verifying the Origin)

  • This study is aimed to analyze problems related to FTA country of origin of goods verification which is increasing from 2006 and thereby to grope for solution of such problems and seek adequate FTA performance administration. It is found, through comparative analysis and statistics of last 8 FTAs so far Korea has concluded that there are major problems such as excessive verification processing due to complicated country of origin regulation etc. This paper suggests following policies of country of origin administration ; (1) Simplification of FTA country of origin rules (2) reciprocal cooperation between each country's Customs Authorities based on trust (3) rational measurement against corresponding country's Customs Authorities' misbehavior (4) enhancement of transparency in relation to processing rule of country of origin verification (5) securing FTA country of origin verification experts. For these improvements, upcoming FTA shall rule country of origin reasonably, simplification and transparency of rule is needed for established FTAs in relation to FTA performance administration with corresponding countries. Also it is necessary to revise FTA preferential tariff law and its related laws, and carry forward policies in accordance with medium and long term plan.

Structural Health Monitoring System of Long-Span Bridges in Korea

  • Development and application of structural health monitoring system in Korea have become active since the early 1990's. In earlier applications, health monitoring systems were installed in several existing bridges in order to collect initial field data by full scale load capacity test for design verification and subsequently monitor long-term performance and durability of the bridge as part of an inspection and maintenance program. Recently, modem and integrated monitoring systems have been introduced in most of the newly constructed long-span bridges since the design stage. This paper outlines the progresses and applications of monitoring systems in Korea for both existing and newly constructed bridges and describes their aims and characteristics.

조선소에서의 시뮬레이션 기반 생산에 관한 연구 : 선표 계획 검증을 중심으로 (A Study on Simulation based Manufacturing in Shipyards : Focused on a Long-term Plan Verification)

  • 조선소의 생산성은 제한된 자원을 얼마나 효율적이고 체계적으로 관리하고 사용하는가에 달려있다. 최근 들어 조선소에서는 생산관리 시스템을 고도화하기 위해 시뮬레이션 기법을 적용한 연구가 활발히 진행되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 시뮬레이션 기법을 생산관리에 적용한 조선소의 시뮬레이션 기반 생산 개념을 연구하였다. 이는 조선소 현장에서 경험과 직관에 의한 의사결정을 지양하고, 정량적이고 구체적인 데이터에 기반을 둔 개선방안을 확립할 수 있게 한다. 본 논문에서는 조선소의 생산 계획 중 선표 계획 영역에 대한 시뮬레이션 적용 연구를 수행하였으며, 이를 위해 조선소의 생산 계획 프로세스와 시스템을 분석하고 상용 시뮬레이션 소프트웨어를 이용한 시뮬레이션 시스템의 설계를 수행하였다. 이러한 시뮬레이션 시스템은 현재 조선소 생산관리 시스템의 운용환경을 고려하여 웹 환경에서 운용가능한 구조를 갖고 있으며, 이를 통해 조선소에서는 보다 손쉽게 생산 계획을 시뮬레이션하고 결과를 분석함으로써 보다 신뢰도 높은 생산 계획을 수립할 수 있을 것으로 기대한다.
