국내에서 재배가 장려되고 있는 콩 19품종의 형태학적 특성 조사로 콩의 부위별 무게, 길이, 색 등을 측정하였고 이들 형태학적 인자 상호간 및 일반성분과의 상관성을 분석하였다. 19품종 콩의 백립중은 $12.28{\sim}25.54g$이었으며 낱콩 무게에 대한 종피 및 배아의 무게 비율은 각각 $6.02{\sim}8.29%,\;1.66{\sim}3.55%$이었다. 이들 콩의 길이, 단폭 및 장목은 $5.95{\sim}7.59mm,\;5.03{\sim}6.95mm,\;6.44{\sim}8.38mm$이었으며 Hunter system에 의한 종피 및 자엽의 황색도는 각각 $15.9{\sim}21.7, \;17.7{\sim}23.1$이었다. 한편, 상관성 분석결과 낱콩의 무게는 자엽무게 및 장폭과, 자엽의 무게는 장폭과 각각 0.97 이상의 높은 정의 상관성을 보였고, 조단백질의 함량은 낱콩의 무게, 자엽의 무게, 길이, 장폭 및 배꼽의 길이와 정의 상관관계가 있지만 상관계수는 비교적 낮은 것으로 나타났다.

Background : A small number of high cost patients usually spend a larger proportion of scarce health resources. Aged, long-term care and readmitted patients usually belong to these high cost patient group. Among others, long length of stay and readmission can be reduced by checking its cause, and these are the areas needed most of quality improvement activity. Characteristics of high cost medical users between health insurance program and medical assistance program were reviewed. Methods : The inpatient claims of health insurance and medical assistance program were analyzed. Patients were divided by 6 groups; long-term, mid-term, short-term, readmitted, cancer and aged. We defined high cost patients as those who had spent one and half million won and over per 6 months. Characteristics of high cost patients for each group were reviewed. Results : medical assistance patients used much more resources than the insured members in the average hospital cost per case but less in daily hospital cost. The former had a longer length of stay and had much heavier diseases. Major diseases of both group were cancer, diseases of circulatory system and chronic degenerative diseases. Gallstone and schizophrenia were more in the insured program. However, pulmonary tuberculosis, asthma were more common among the medical assistance patients. Early readmission before 2 weeks were 28-30% of the total readmission. Readmission rate in the malignat neoplasm and renal failure were 80% and more. Q.A program should be installed to prevent unnecessary readmissions. Conclusion : Almost 30% of early readmissions and admissions due to complications and long length of stay should be reviewed carefully to keep cost down and to enhance the quality of hospital care.

Variations of individual hip shapes are a major obstacle in pattern making for fitness. The drafting method is used for pattern making in today's apparel industry. Whilst catering to a limited number of information such as waist and hip sizes, this method does not cater to variations in hip shape. This paper describes the analysis of hip shapes using 3D body model and tries to make sure the relationship between hip shape and pattern by calculating hip angle and dart amount. We achieved results in analyzing various hip shapes by extracting hip angle. Moreover, various hip shapes can be divided into three types(A, B and C) by the hip angle value($K_{sh}-K_{wsh}$). When we use computerized draping method to make a personalized pattern for a tigth skirt, we easily create complex dart lines automatically. Therefore we achieve the result of individual dart amount such as distance between dart lines and dart areas. C type of hip shape had short dart length, long distance between dart lines and a large amount of dart area. On the other hand, A type had long dart length, short distance between dart lines and small amount of dart area. B type had long length and long distance between dart lines and large amount of dart area. In traditional pattern making, distance between dart lines is usually proportional to amount of dart area because of similarity in dart line shape. In our pattern, there is no proportional relationship between dart line distance and dart area. This means that variations in hip shapes result in a wide variety of dart line curvature resulting in a wide range of dart area. By ensuring an accurate relationship between hip shape and pattern, it is possible to make patterns which result in clothing that not only fits well, but also exhibits other desirable properties.

The purpose of this study was to analyze the measurement data of 13 ~ 18 year old male students and to characterize the body shape of the lower body, Through this, I tried to provide basic data for the production of pants for adolescent men's students. As a result of analyzing the body shape factor of the lower half, two factors were classified. 'Vertical factor' of the lower body composed of the circumference, thickness, and width, and the 'horizontal factor' of the lower body composed of the length and height. The body shape of the lower half was classified into four categories according to the circumference and length of the lower half of the male students, such as 'short bird legs', 'long crane legs', 'short pillar' and 'long pillar'. In the study of Hong Eun-hee (2005), body type was classified according to horizontal factor and vertical factor like this study. By age, boys aged 13 to 14 can see that the lower body is thin and short, the lower body is thin and long body is 15-16 years old, and the lower body is relatively thick and long body is 17-18 years old. As the age increases, the growth in the vertical direction occurs first and the growth in the horizontal direction occurs. It is thought that it is necessary to set a different amount of allowance for setting the length and the circumference according to the age of the youth. When the age is young, the amount of allowance in the circumferential direction should be increased, and the amount of allowance in the longitudinal direction after 15 years of age should be increased more than other age groups.

This paper deal with technique of tension length calculation for 350km/h high speed catenary system. Tension length affects in facility investment. Possibility of overlap increasing a tension length and the equipment investor decreases in order to decrease. Considers the parameter which specifies and the grudge which is possible long the fact that decides a tension length is the aim which is important plans overhead contact line. The element which decides a tension length with next following; (i) Operating range of tension device, (ii) Change of the horizontal tension which affects possibility of the effect which operates to the line and span, (iii) Tension of wire material the tensile force which is relation, (iv) Wire thermal expantion which relates with a standard temperature, (v) Curve radius, (vi) Wind velocity, (vii) Thermal range of overhead contact wire and mechanical design of tension mechanism etc.

In order to use mBIZ code as the practical transmission code, the information block length have to be determined. If the information block length is short, timing information disapperance is reduced, but transmission speed is increased as the result of inserted redundancy bit. While, if the information block length is long, timing information disapperance and jitter are caused. So it is very important to determine the optimal timing information block length. Therefore, in this paper, we determined the optimal information block length using S/X endurance method.

In a concrete member under pure tension, the stress in concrete is uniformly distributed over the whole concrete section. It is supposed that a local bond failure occurs at each crack, and there is a relative slip between steel and surrounding concrete. The compatibility of deformation between the concrete and reinforcement is thus not maintained. The bond transfer length is a length of reinforcement adjacent to the crack where the compatibility of strain between the steel and concrete is not maintained because of partially bond breakdown and slip. It is an empirical measure of the bond characteristics of the reinforcement, incorporating bar diameter and surface characteristics such as texture. Based on results from a series of previously conducted long-term tests on eight restrained reinforced concrete slab specimens and material properties including creep and shrinkage of two concrete batches, the ratio of final bond transfer length after all shrinkage cracking, to THE initial bond transfer length is presented.

There are some similar phonological properties shared by different languages. The phenomenon of vowel length is just one of them which shows distinctive futures. In some languages long vowels serve to differentiate meanings. In that case the phonological context it creates is important and so it has to be incorporated into the phonemic inventory of the language, otherwise there will be misunderstanding. In this paper I will try to explain the Turkish vowel system as well as the Korean, and then to show how long vowels take their forms in Turkish and Korean.

The 43 story, 178m tall Atlantis The Royal Resort and Residences tower nearing completion on the Palm in Dubai is a unique project in terms of its overall scale, geometry and form. The tower superstructure has a long narrow curved floor plan, measuring 400m in length above the podium with significant long span bridge structures forming voids and cantilevered blocks. This paper describes the innovative structural design solutions adopted and the construction solutions adopted by the Contractor to realize the Architectural vision.
