In a comparison the Logistics system for Agro-food of Korea and the Logistic system of Europe and Japan, the more developed countries of Europe have better systems. This well-formed rationalization of Logistics on Agro-food, and perfectly-equipped packaging system measurements for Agro-food make 100% pallet freight possible. Also, this means that a unit load system has been achieved. In Japan, the Logistic system is mainly accomplished by auction. However, it has been rapidly changing into the same type as the developed countries these days. Logistic system in Korea is also mainly accomplished by auction under the influence of Japan. However it also has been rapidly changing in to the same type as the developed countries these days. In the future, Korea has to build up international competitiveness in the face of FTA(Free Trade Agreement) era. This can happen by having better-organized Agro-food Logistics system and unit load system which results in accurate packaging system measurements.

The purpose of this study is to consider the problem on pursuit of logistics strategy by our international shipping company in international shipping business under the said circumstance due to the open international shipping market and to suggest the logistics strategy for the consideration of the logistics competition under new international shipping circumstances. The results of empirical analysis are mentioned as follows; First, it shall be considered to maintain the size of company bigger than a certain capability so that it may obtain the superior competition of logistics. Second, as there are the plus correlations between the competition of logistics and the logistic support, it is necessary to pursuit the upgrade service with using EDI system and making up the complex shipping and integrated logistics system in general. Third, with the rationalization of finance policy and the profitable management of shipping company the ratio of net worth can be raised and it can be achieved to make the sound financial structure as reducing the excessive debt ratio. Fourth, it can be effort continuously to perform the investment for the infrastructure of logistics support & the institutional supplement so that it may achieve to increase the efficiency of logistic support at pier and to reduce the cost of logistic support.

전북업체가 EC 국제환경에서 국내외 물류 경쟁력을 적극적으로 강화하는데 필요한 적용 전략을 제안하였다. 본 연구에서 제시하고 있는 EC의 물류 적용 전략을 전북 기업이 효율적으로 활용한다면 국내외 물류 경쟁력을 강화하는데 충분한 효과를 얻을 수 있을 것으로 확신한다. 전북의 모든 산업분야 중에서 경영합리화 및 효율화를 이루지 못할 경우 국내외 기업들과의 경쟁에서 이겨내지 못하고 모든 시장을 타 기업에게 넘겨줘야 하는 위기에 직면하게 된다. 전북업체의 이러한 암담한 미래를 극복하기 위해서 기업의 경영혁신 및 합리화 도구로써 또한 물류의 국내외 경쟁력를 강화하는 수단으로써 EC의 도입 운용에 적극 대처해야만 한다. 본 연구는 EC 시대를 대비하여 전북업체의 물류 경쟁력의 강화를 위한 EC의 도입 운용전략에 대한 이해를 높이고 정보화시대 세계화시대의 국내외 물류 경쟁력 제고에 도움이 된다는 측면에서 연구의 중요성을 강조하고자 한다.

The article proves the relevance of developing conceptual frameworks for managing the quality assurance of logistics activities in the context of socio-economic interaction of their participants. It is established that the fundamental difference of the logistic approach in management from traditional approaches is the allocation of a single management function of previously separated, disparate material flows, as well as economic, technological, information integration of chain links into a single system capable of effective management of these flows. It is substantiated that the functioning of the enterprise as a logistics system can be represented in the form of a triad of logistics components, namely: supply logistics, production logistics, sales logistics. Management of quality assurance processes of logistics activities in the context of socio-economic interaction of their participants is a functional component of the entire logistics system due to the quality of work and interaction of all participants in the implementation of certain activities. The quality of logistics activities will affect the level of economic potential, rationalization and optimization of all logistics flows. It is proved that the management of quality assurance processes of logistics activities in the context of socio-economic interaction of their participants involves the following main areas: the introduction of a quality system of logistics processes; development and implementation of the general strategy of quality improvement at the enterprise; internal integration; controlling. Management of quality assurance processes of logistics activities in the context of socio-economic interaction of its participants requires compliance with the following requirements: systematic and comprehensive management of all flow processes; coordination of criteria and indicators for assessing the effectiveness of the entire logistics system; dissemination of the use and application of information technology; ensuring partnerships and close interaction of all participants in sales networks.

There are lack of labour and increase in logistics costs due to rapid change in logistics environments and the demand for logistics. The reality is that over spending on logistics costs are getting worse due to lack of logistics standardization. An example will be excessive logistics costs caused by unsatisfactory use of logistics equipments in wholesale markets. The logistics efficiency is falling due to delays in using logistics equipments and standardization. Therefore, there needs standardization of logistics functions and unit of handling in each stage from packing, unloading, storage, transporting, logistics information and needs logistics standardization on equipments, machineries used for the above. Standard unified with standardization is called specification and if standardization is applied broadly in manufacturing or processing, inspection than each process in terms of production can be managed rationally and labour skills will improve and product quality will be evenly maintained and compatability of each part in terms of assembly will be maintained thus materials and labour could be saved thus results in increasing productivity and lowering production costs. Also, if it is applied in industry at state-level then there will be rationalization in consumption in circulation as in purchase of raw materials, sales of products, purchase of products by consumers and contribute in improving compatibility and fair transactions. This paper is aimed to help in first solving factors affecting the most in improving logistic efficiency among unit load system and logistic hollowization, standardizing logistics base, standardizing logistics information. The study conducted surveys on limited companies but hope that in the future the target companies can be divided further into types, industries and conduct more demonstrative analysis.

최근의 글로벌 무한경쟁 환경속에서 기업들은 물류망의 합리화를 통한 비용 절감과 물류서비스의 제고를 위해 항만 및 공항지역에 입지한 국제물류센터를 활용하고 있다. 본 연구에서는 이러한 배경에 대해 화주 기업의 특성이 국제물류센터의 활용에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지에 대해 조사함으로써 국제물류센터의 바람직한 운영 및 활용성에 대한 시사점을 제시하고자 하였다. 분석결과, 국제 물류센터를 활용하는 요인은 가시성, 부가성, 대응성의 3개 요인으로 추출되었으며, 이들 요인 중 가시성에 영향을 미치는 화주 기업의 특성은 기업규모인 것으로 나타났다. 부가성의 경우는 기업의 규모와 취급하는 제품의 유형인 것으로 파악되었다. 대응성에 미치는 기업의 특성은 제품유형인 것으로 나타났다. 또한 국제물류센터의 지속적인 활용의사에 영향을 미치는 변수는 물류센터의 활용기간인 것으로 조사되었다.

우리나라의 철도운송 분담율은 매년 6%를 유지하고 있으나 철도물류에 대한 지속적인 투자 및 물류 합리화 여부에 따라 철도물류는 상반된 결과를 가져올 것이다. 철도물류의 발전에 크게 기여할 것으로 예상되는 남북철도 뿐만 아니라 철도물류에 대한 연구가 상당히 미흡한 상황에서 철도 물류기지의 수요예측, 규모를 예측하고, 물류기지를 통한 남북철도 활성화 방안을 연구하고자 하였다. 철도 물류기지를 통한 남북철도의 활성화 방안으로서 첫째, 물류기지에서 취급하는 석탄 수요자와의 파트너쉽을 강화하여야 하며, 둘째, 강릉에서 제진까지 동해 북부선의 건설이 필요할 뿐만 아니라 노후화된 북측 선로의 유지보수에 필요한 재정적 지원이 이루어져야 한다. 셋째, 장·단거리 운송 및 대형 화주에 대한 철도운임을 탄력적으로 적용할 필요가 있으며, 넷째, 해외 광산개발 참여 등을 통하여 철도 운송권을 확보하여야 하고, 다섯째, 양회사와 같은 소형 화주를 지속적으로 발굴하여야 한다.

Imported and exported agricultural products are facing a very difficult time due to the rising distribution costs spurred by the increasing labor and oil prices. High empty transfer rates, which take place on a return route after the regular transportation of imported and exported agricultural products, are especially a major cause of the rising distribution costs. In an effort to overcome those limitations, this study set out to examine the transportation stages connecting harbor warehouses, processing plants, and central distribution centers on the circulation route of such imported grains as wheat, barley, corn, and soybean and the transportation route from the warehouses devoted to exported agricultural products to harbors for such exported agricultural products as apple, pear, and persimmon in order to develop a model on the creation of a compound logistics complex for processing plants and transshipment of imported and exported agricultural products. The study also promoted the logistic rationalization of imported and exported agricultural products by creating a compound logistics complex that would combine processing plants for imported agricultural products and transshipment functions for exported agricultural products.

The efficiency of the purchasing and procurement logistics is important in automotive industry. The rationalization of production system is directly impact on productivity and quality. For this reason importance of logistics is high. Despite we are continuously making effort, our country are still below the level than developed country on logistics efficiency. Rising labor costs is an important factor in increasing logistics costs. So workforce reduction in logistics department is a large part. We deal with A-company inbound logistics, especially procurement logistics in automotive logistics as research object. So in this study we do research on work load balance about workers. We do research on 1,475 kinds of components in procurement process. We applied work load balance algorithm on chassis, final, sequence, trim warehouses workers. According to number of workers and average M/H, algorithm is applied in two ways. After applied work load balance algorithm we reduced numbers of workers from 28 to 20 and improved worker load balance rate from 47.1% to 93.7%.

It is difficult to make plans about the production schedule and volume of seasonal products due to the huge uncertainty in the prediction of their demands, which is why the amounts of carryover seasonal products increase after the peak season. Traditional models fail to meet the important requirements of production and stock plans related to the enhanced efficiency of logistics system due to the reduced value of carryover products by the disposal based on large discounts and deterioration, which poses considerable difficulties with actual problem solving. This study examined the stages of product storage from the specialized factory warehouses during a low season through the stores and the warehouses of local distribution centers during a high season to stock disposal and carryover product warehouses after a high season. The study developed a model for logistics rationalization plans to minimize carryover products by advance selling new products by subscription during a low season in anticipation of high season demands, increasing the accuracy of demands prediction, and making stable production plans, as well as demonstrated its excellence through numerical analysis.
