In this study, the traditional electron-blocking layer (EBL) in (In,Ga)N/GaN light-emitting diodes is replaced by a circular EBL that is the same size as the n-pad. The three-dimensional (3D) nonlinear Poisson, drift-diffusion, and continuity equations are adopted to simulate current transport in the LED and its characteristics. The results indicate that the local carrier-density distribution obtained for the circular EBL design is more uniform than that for the traditional EBL design. This improves the uniformity of local radiative recombination and local internal quantum efficiency (IQE) at high injection levels, which leads to a higher lumped IQE and lower efficiency droop. With the circular EBL, the lumped IQE is higher in the outer active region and lower in the active region under the n-pad. Since most emissions from the active region under the n-pad are absorbed by the n-pad, obviously, an LED with a circular EBL will have a higher external quantum efficiency (EQE). The results also show that this LED works at lower applied voltages.

본고에서는 우리나라 초등사회과의 교육과정 지역화논의와 현실을 파악하고 지역학습의 개념을 재정립하여 '서울'을 사례로 지역학습 내용 구성의 틀을 제안하였다. 교육과정의 지역화란 교육과정의 개발 및 운영의 지방분권화를 의미하며 이는 학습자의 능동걸인 참여를 위해 학습 내용과 학습자의 경험이 연결될 수 있는 일상적 생활세계인 지역을 학습의 소재로 활용한다. 전통적으로 지역학습에서 지역은 향토, 지역사회, 신변지역으로 접근되었다. 향토는 이해와 애정 소속의 대상이고, 지역사회는 학습의 자원이면서 의사소통의 장 참여와 실천의 장이며, 신변지역은 조사 비교의 대상이면서 주요 개념이나 이론을 설명할 수 있는 사례가 된다. 이와 같은 일련의 지역화 논의와 지역학습의 유형화를 바탕으로 현재 사용 중인 지역화 교과서 '사회과 탐구: 서울의 생활' 내용을 분석하면서 지역학습 내용 구성의 틀을 제안했다. 본고에서는 서울의 지역학습 내용을 구성하는데 서울을 경험의 공간, 참여의 공간, 탐구의 공간 차원으로 구분하여 이해하면서도 지리학의 새로운 지역개념을 도입하여 보다 적합성을 갖춘 지역학습 내용 구성 방안을 제시하고자 했다. 이를 통해 지역특수적인 소재를 활용하고 지역의 맥락에서 의미있는 잇슈와 주제를 중심으로 접근하는 것이 방법면에서 뿐 아니라 내용면에서 지역화를 실현하는 것임을 획인하였다.

This paper presents a salient region detection algorithm for auto-focusing based on the characteristics of a human's visual attention. To describe the saliency at the local, regional, and global levels, this paper proposes a set of novel features including multi-scale local contrast, variance, center-surround entropy, and closeness to the center. Those features are then prioritized to produce a saliency map. The major advantage of the proposed approach is twofold; i) robustness to changes in focus and ii) low computational complexity. The experimental results showed that the proposed method outperforms the existing low-level feature-based methods in the sense of both robustness and accuracy for auto-focusing.

The fatigue life is predicted on tensile-shear spot weldment made from Al-Mg alloy sheet with thickness of 0.8mm using Mitchell's method and uniform material law by $B{\ddot{a}}umel$ and Seeger based on local strain approach. The fatigue properties of critical HAZ region are estimated from the tensile property using simple hardness method. To predict the fatigue life of spot weldment, the local stresses and strains at the potential critical region are estimated by Neuber's rule. The predicted fatigue life based on uniform material law using HAZ's material properties provides good results within a factor of 3, conservatively.

Purpose - This research examines the effects of local universities on urban regeneration to recover commercial supremacy in the original urban area and provides clear information on the "University Cooperation Project for Traditional Market." Research design, data, and methodology - The "University Cooperation Project for Traditional Market" started in 2015. This study was conducted focusing on 22 places selected in 2015 and the project content in those locations. Results - This study analyzes the link to urban regeneration and spreads the concept along with theoretical consideration of university cooperation for traditional markets. Additionally, it promotes policies to help propel the project based on characteristics of the region. Conclusions - A differentiated project should be created, with characteristics of the region reflected, and detailed programs developed and implemented resulting in meaningful achievement from the perspective of members of the local community, who may have deviated from existing perspectives. Additionally, opportunities should be established for the direct application of young consumer ideas through experimental business to regenerate the traditional market (commercial supremacy), the center of the local economic society.

We investigate the domain of influence of the local volatility function on the solutions of the general Black-Scholes model. First, we generate the sample paths of underlying asset using the Monte Carlo simulation. Next, we define the inner and outer domains to find the effective volatility region. To confirm the effect of the inner domain, we use the root mean square error for the European call option prices, and then change the values of volatility in the proposed domain. The computational experiments confirm that there is an effective region which dominates the option pricing.

The purpose of this study was to develop and succeed local foods such as Yangte miyuck-gook, Getjango-tang, Boongjango-gook, Sook doenjang-gook, Mulmegi-gook and Mukjang-gook in the Namhae region. To derive standardized recipes; first, a test recipe was prepared based on the information obtained from literature material, personal interviews of Namhae natives, and surveys of restaurant recipes through restaurant owners and chefs in the Namhae area. After that, standardized recipes were made in accordance with the collected data. Then, CAN Program 2.0 was used for the nutritional evaluation. Most of these fish soups contained high percentages of protein, minerals and vitamins. Getjango-tang and boongjango-gook were higher than the other foods in most of nutrition contents, which were particularly good sources of calcium and iron.

Numerical analysis has been performed to investigate the effects of the turbulence intensity and Prandtl number on the local heat transfer around a circular cylinder in crossflow. The governing equations were reformulated in a non-orthogonal coordinate system with Cartesian velocity components and discretised by the finite volume method with a non-staggered variable arrangement. For laminar flow, the calculations were performed for the Reynolds numbers 26 and 200. The results showed good agreement with the experimental results. For turbulent flow of the Reynolds number $1{\times}10^5$ and $2{\times}10^6$, the results showed that with an increase in the turbulent intensity in the main stream, the local Nusselt number increases in the front region of the circular cylinder. But the effect of turbulent intensity on the local Nusselt number diminishes in the wake region. The influence of Prandtl numbers show similar trend to that of turbulent intensity.

영남의대 부속병원 통증 치료실에 내원한 대상포진후 신경통 환자에 특별한 부위에 국소마취를 하여 좋은 효과를 나타내었기에 그 결과를 분석하였다. 1) 남여비 및 좌우측의 발생빈도는 비슷하였다. 2) 연령은 50~70세였으며 발생부위는 경부, 어깨, 팔이었으며 경부에 제일 많았다. 3) 국소마취의 효과는 연령과 시간에 관계없이 효과가 좋았으며 치료회수는 7~10회였다.

본 논문는 환동해권에서 입지적 우위를 갖는 강원도의 항만물류산업 활성화 방안을 모색함으로써 지역경제발전에 기여하고자 하였다. 본 논문은 강원도 항만물류산업의 활성화방안을 강원도와 정부 측면으로 구분하여 제시하였다. 강원도 차원에서는 국제물류 환경변화에 따른 거점 항만의 지정 및 개발, 환동해권 주요 항만간 네트워크 및 전자항만 시스템의 구축, 그리고 항만배후지 지원을 위한 자유무역지대나 경제자유지역 같은 경제특구의 조성 및 확대 방안을 제시하였다. 또한 배후단지에는 환동해권의 자원과 관련된 산업을 유치 및 육성하는 것이 효과적이라는 것과 적극적인 항만물류마케팅 활동의 추진을 주문하였다. 정부 차원에서는 강원도 항만에 대한 직접적인 접근성 및 연계성 확대를 위한 SOC 투자 확대 방안과 정부의 서남해안 위주 항만개발정책의 전환을 통한 강원도 항만에 대한 적극적이고 효율적인 지원을 요구하였다. 끝으로 항만물류 분야의 첨단화와 글로벌화가 급속히 확대되는 상황에서 종합적인 전문물류인력양성 기관의 설치 및 지원이 필요함을 제시하였다.
