This paper propose a variable parameter estimations for variable over current load of five-phase squirrel-cage induction motor(IM) to servo control system. In order to high performance control of AC motor using a field oriented control(FOC) and direct torque control(DTC) algorithm, there are required precise motor parameters for slip calculation, flux observer, controller gain, torque command of current components, rotor position, speed estimation, and so on. We are suggest a analyzed estimation results of the motor parameters that developing five-phase squirrel-cage IM have a stator of concentrated winding for experimental within variable over current load at rated input frequency. There are results of stator winding measurement, no-load test, locked-rotor test, variable over current load test, and estimated parameters of equivalent circuits using manufactured experimental apparatus by IEEE Standard Test Procedure for Polyphase Induction Motors and Generators 112-2004.

This paper deals with an observer design for a P-Cell Chopper. The goal is to reduce drastically the number of sensors in such system by using an observer in order to estimate all the capacitor voltages. Furthermore, considering an instantaneous model of a p-cell chopper, an interconnected observer is designed in order to estimate the capacitor voltages and some parameters of the model. This is realized by using only the load current measurement. Simulation results are given in order to illustrate the performance of such observer. To show the validity of our approach, experimental based a DSP results are presented.
The predictive speed control (PSC) strategy can realize the simultaneous control of speed and current by using one cost function. As a model-based control method, the performance of the PSC is vulnerable to model mismatches such as load torque disturbances and parameter uncertainties. To solve this problem, this paper presents a robust predictive speed control (RPSC) strategy for surface-mounted permanent magnet synchronous motor (SPMSM) drives. The proposed RPSC uses extended state observers (ESOs) to estimate the lumped disturbances caused by load torque changes and parameter mismatches. The observer-based prediction model is then compensated by using the estimated disturbances. The introduction of ESOs can achieve robustness against predictive model uncertainties. In addition, a modified cost function is designed to further suppress load torque disturbances. The performance of the proposed RPSC scheme has been corroborated by experimental results under the condition of load torque changes and parameter mismatches.
this paper presents an implementation of digital control system of speed sensorless for Reluctance Synchronous Motor (RSM) drives with direct torque control (DTC). The problem of DTC for high-dynamic performance RSM drive is generating a nonlinear torque due to a saturated nonlinear inductance curve with various load currents. The control system consists of stator flux observer, compensating inductance look-up table, rotor position/speed/torque estimator, two hysteresis band controllers, an optimal switching look-up table, IGBT voltage source unverter, and TMS320C31 DSP controller. The stator flux observer is based on the combined voltage and current model with stator flux feedback adapitve control that inputs are the compensated inductances, current and voltage sensing of motor terminal with estimated rotor angle for wide speed range. The rotor position is estimated rotor speed is determined by differentiation of the rotor position used only in the current model part of the flux observer for a low speed operation area. It does not requrie the knowledge of any montor paramenters, nor particular care for moter starting, In order to prove the suggested control algorithm, we have simulation and testing at actual experimental system. The developed sensorless control system is showing a good speed control response characterisitic result and high performance features in 20/1500 rpm with 1.0Kw RSM having 2.57 ratio of d/q reluctance.
In this paper, a new control scheme based on deadbeat control with disturbance observer for voltage controlled Inverter system is proposed. The inverter system is modelled as the 4th-order system treating R load current variation caused by disturbance. So the disturbance observer exists in the state observer. By using the pole placement strategy, the observer estimates the state and disturbance variable of the next sampling instant. Simulation results so show that The proposed scheme has robust feature against disturbance.
This paper proposes sliding mode state for robust speed control of induction motor. Sliding mode state observer is robust for measurement noise, modeling-error and load disturbance. The pole of sliding mode state observer can be placed at (0,0) in Z-plane for fast response. This method is, namely, deadbeat control. Sliding mode state observer output is discontinuous on a switching hyperplance, that causes harmful effects such as current harmonics and speed oscillation. In this paper, also the reducing method of the chattering of sliding mode state observer output is proposed. The proposed system is digitally implemented with TMS320C31.
This thesis proposed a speed control system for induction motors robust to variations in torque and parameters by feedforward compensating the current portion of load torque, adding a load torque observer to the conventional PI controller in the indirect vector controlled induction motor system. In conclusion, this thesis demonstrate the improved transient characteristic to variations in reference speed and load torque, compared to the conventional PI control method, by means of the feedworward control of the estimated load torque.

By most sensorless speed control schemes for induction motor. the control performances in high speed range are good, but it is difficult to obtain satisfactory results in low speed region. This paper proposes a new method controlling the low and the high speed regions separately to attain the stable operation in the overall range. The current error compensation method, in which the controlled stator voltage is applied to the induction motor so that the error between stator currents of the numerical model and the actual motor can be forced to decay to zero as time proceeds. is used in the low speed region In the high speed region. the method with adaptive observer is utilized. This control strategy contains an adaptive state observer for flux estimation. The rotor speed can be calculated from the rotor flux and the motor currents. The experimental results indicate good speed and load responses from the very low speed range to the high, and also show accurate speed changing performance between the low and the high speed range.

This paper describes a new digital control method of 3-phase PWM inverter with LC filter for uninterruptible power supply(UPS). The overall control system is based on the dead beat control, which has the minor loop of current control within the voltage control major loop. In this paper, the full-order disturbance observer is proposed to compensate the disturbances generated due to a sudden change of load currents. The proposed disturbance observer is composed of dead beat observer which estimates state values within a finite time, and cancels the disturbances by adding feedforward compensation loop in the control system. In addition, on order to remove a defect of oscillation generated in output of conventional dead beat controller, a modified dead beat algorithm is proposed in this paper.
