Performance Analysis for Passive Filter Considering Allowable Limits of Tolerance (오차의 허용범위를 고려한 수동형 필터의 특성 해석)

  • Reactors are connected with capacitors to passive filter circuits for reducing harmonics caused by power conversion application. This passive filter frequently gets out of order by voltage and current stress. Especially filter reactor has too much voltage harmonics components, its trouble rate is higher than capacitor. In this paper, we analyzed voltage and current of reactor and capacitor used for passive filter by simulation and measurement. If reactor has a tolerance on variation of reactance value, series resonance frequency is different from originally filter design frequency and parallel resonance can be generated at the close point of the former. Because filter absorbs harmonic component of non-linear load, much of harmonic voltage has been impacted on reactor.

  • In PSR on the Kori 3&4 NPP, The low level radioactive waste resin from SGBD demineralizer is more than $65\%$ of total waste resin in NPP So, it needs to be improved. The secondary cooling water pH control methods are used ammonia-AVT from the first. According to changing ETA which is better than ammonia, SGBD cation load is increased about 2-3 times. Waste resin product is also increased in proportion to the SGBD cation load. To reduce the waste volume, new cation resin exchange criteria is confirmed that demineralizer is almost saturated.

  • In this paper, the diode bridge-type ZVT(Zero-Voltage Transition) inverter is proposed. It consists of one auxiliary switch, three resonant inductors and six blocking diodes. So, the advantage of the proposed topology is the reduction of the auxiliary switch. The topology of the proposed ZVT inverter is analyzed with a description of the control conditions based on the load current. Therefore, this paper two control algorithms were discussed. A variable resonant pattern control algorithm by using load current feedback and a resonant period control algorithm by using resonant inductor current feedback is proposed in order to achieve the ZVT switching condition in full control range and the reducing current spike main switches cause by reverse recovery problem.

  • The main purpose of the UPS is to supply independent and stable power to connected equipment. In installing and operating the UPS system, songle module, three phase UPS in more benefit than multi module, songle phase UPS in the point of volume and cost. However, when supplying Rectifier with output power form three phase UPS, by connecting auto-transformer, occurred harmonic and ripple current makes output filter damaged and leads to nonlinear current coasted by unbalance load. Therefor, in this paper the aim of concentring compound-wound transformer and harmonic filter is supplying liner current by reducing harmonic and ripple current and improving unbalance in voltage and distortion in current wave.

  • Analyzed Parametrically was an internal combustion engine combined with gas turbine the cycle of which is splitted into compression side cylinder and expansion side one, and heat adding of which is during constant volume pressure, temperature process. The advantages of each measures were analyzed by means of thermal cycle diagram. The thermal efficiency of partial load cutting off firstly isothermal heat adding and secondly isobaric heat adding also was analyzed The authors suggested some potentials about the performance as for thermal efficiency, mean effective pressure and reducing emissions and noise supposed were the operating parameter of the engine set to some values and were some problems solved.

  • Angular misalignment has a significant effect on the characteristics of angular contact ball bearings (ACBBs). This paper presents an analysis of fatigue life for ACBBs subjected to angular misalignment. A simulation model is developed with de Mul's bearing model and the ISO basic reference rating life model. Simulation is performed to calculate the life of the ACBBs subjected to angular misalignment. The numerical results show that angular misalignment influences the load distribution significantly, thus reducing the bearing rating life. The fatigue life of ACBBs is decreased by angular misalignment regardless of axial preload, external radial load and rotational speed. The results show that angular misalignment should be maintained at less than 1mrad for ACBBs.

High-temperature Deformation Behavior of 5052 Aluminum Alloy for Hot Shearing Process (고온전단가공을 위한 5052 알루미늄 합금의 고온 변형거동)

  • Hot shearing is a method of producing various high-quality planar machine parts by using reduced punch load. In order to predict the results of this process, the deformation behavior of work material at elevated temperatures need to be studied. In this research, a tensile test was carried out for 5052 aluminum alloy at high temperatures of $240-540^{\circ}C$ and strain rates of 0.001-0.1/s. The results of the tensile tests were studied to predict the deformation of the alloy during the hot shearing process. The results showed that hot shearing within a temperature range of $340-440^{\circ}C$ and a strain rate rage of 0.001-01/s will be the most effective in reducing punch load and increasing the sheared edge in the case of 5052 aluminum alloy.

  • Continuous, discrete and semi continuous HMM systems are used for the speech recognition. Discrete systems have the advantage of low run-time computation. However, vector quantization reduces accuracy and this can lead to poor performance. Continuous systems let us get good correctness but they need much calculation so that occasionally they are unable to be used for practice. Although there are semi-continuous systems which apply advantage of continuous and discrete systems, they also require much computation. In this paper, we proposed the way which reduces calculation for continuous systems. The proposed method has the same computational load as discrete systems but can give better recognition accuracy than discrete systems.

  • Wireless power transfer (WPT) is the technology that enables the power to transmit electromagnetic field to an electrical load without the use of wires. There are two kinds of magnetic resonant coupling and inductive coupling ways transmitting from the source to the output load. Compared with microwave method for energy transfer over a long distance, the magnetic resonance method has the advantages of reducing the barrier of electromagnetic wave and enhancing the efficiency of power transmission. In this paper, the wireless power transfer circuit having a resonant frequency of 13.45 MHz for the low power system is studied, and the hardware implementation is accomplished to measure the power transmission efficiency for the distance between the transmitter and the receiver.

  • This paper presents a method for reducing the Total Harmonic Distortion(THD) of line-line back_EMF of the IPMSM with distributed winding under the no-load condition. Firstly, the specific harmonic components of line-line back EMF are reduced considering with winding factor. Secondly, THD of line-line back EMF is minimized according to change of pole angle using by Space harmonic Analysis. Finally, the optimal design for minimizing the THD is conducted using response surface methodology with finite element analysis. The validity of the design method dealt with in this paper is demonstrated by comparison between the THD of optimal model and initial model.
