There are a close relationship between natural disasters and train safety. So it is very important to guaranty train safety using reasonable rail-transport operation control against disasters. Therefore, based on the past record of rainfall at failure, rail-transport operation control for railway embankment under rainfall was set up. After slope check list at home and abroad had been analyzed, new slope check list was suggested and site investigations were carried out using this check list. In order to evaluate the stability of railway slopes under rainfall, explanatory variables and subordinate variables were selected for multi-variate analysis and critical rainfall was defined by statistical process. Rail-transport operation control including regional and geological properties was suggested by analyzing the critical rainfall and rail-transport operation control in other country, and this will be a good tool to control train speed under rainfall and to secure train safety.

This study was carried out to present rural functional resources through classification and preparation of checklist for ecological and cultural resources which considered various aspect of agriculture and rural area. In this study the function of ecological and cultural resources classified 6 functions such as natural environment, free environmentally agricultural products, experience of agricultural products, recreational places, rural life experience, and Interchanges of human resources. Prepared evaluation list through this study can explain a local characteristics based on 6 functions of agricultural and mountain village. This evaluation list was focused on the magnitude of the resources which motivate the visiting of city-dweller as a consumer, for an actual regional plan, investigation of the inhabitant consciousness survey should be needed, simultaneously.

Multiprotocol Label Switching is an initiating IETF that integrated Layer2 information network links(bandwidth, latency, utilization) to Layer 3(IP) with a particular autonomous system(or ISP) in order to simplify and improve IP-packet exchange. MPLS gives network operators a grate deal of flexibility to divert and route traffic around link failures, congestion, and bottlenecks. The MPLS has advantages that will be able to solve existing problem of Network that ISP have had IP, QoS, Gigabit forwarding and traffic engineering. The purpose of this study is to measure Access-list and the capacities of PE Router that would operate as MPLS. Many ISP using MPLS service to handle high-speed internet traffic with apply to firewall in future.

병렬 프로세서 시스템이 제고하는 하드웨어적인 장점을 이용하기 위해서는 병렬 프로그래밍을 통한 애플리케이션의 병렬화가 필요하다. 기존의 순차적 코드의 경우에 자동 병렬화 컴파일러 기법을 통하여 병렬 프로세서시스템이 제공하는 성능을 극대화하고 있다. 그러나 자동병렬화는 과학 기술 계산용 코드와 같은 정형성을 지닌 코드에서는 유용하지만 비즈니스 응용에서 사용되는 동적인 자료구조를 사용하는 코드에서는 포인터에 의한 별명과 이에 따른 의존성 분석에 어려움으로 인해 많이 응용되고 있지는 못하다. 본 논문은 병렬 프로세서 시스템이 제공하는 기능을 이용하기 위한 한 방법으로 비즈니스 응용에서 많이 사용되는 동적인 자료 구조 중 linked list 클래스 라이브러리의 설계와 구현에 대하여 기술한다.

Cardot(1904) first reported 98 Korean mosses, which were collected from Busan, Gangwon Province, Mokpo, Seoul, Wonsan and Pyongyang by Father Faurie in 1901. Thirty-four of these species were new species to the world. However, eight of these species have been not listed to the moss checklist of Korea before this study. Thus, this study complies the literature including Korean mosses, and lists all the species there. As the result, the moss list of Korea is updated as including 775 taxa (728 species, 7 subspecies, 38 varieties, 2 forma) arranged into 56 families and 250 genera. This list include species that have been newly recorded since 1980. Brachythecium is the largest genus in Korea, and Fissidens, Sphagnum, Dicranum and Entodon are relatively large. Additionally, this study cites specimens collected from Jeju Island, Samcheok, Gangwon Province, and Socheong Island, and it is possible to confirm the distribution of 338 species in Korea.

This study had its objective to indentify the basic biological concepts as recommended by scholars in biology and by high school biology teachers for inclussion in the high school biology curriculum and to determine the importance levels of the concepts. The scholars for this study were selected to insure that their majors are evenly distributed across the biological areas. The final concept list contains 137 biological concepts along with their importance level judged by the scholars and high school biology teachers. The biological concepts are categorized into 12 biological areas. This study suggests that the concepts in the final list can not refect the conceptual hierarchy or inclusiveness, goals or objectives of biology education in the high school, and difficulty levels of the concepts. This study also claims that the concept list like the one produced by this study should be successively' checked and revised due to the continuous development of biological knowledge system and the constant change in the meanings of the knowledge system.

This paper proposes a method of solving a unit commitment problem using tabu search (TS) which is heuristic algorithm. Ts is a local search method that starts from any initial solution and attempts to determine a better solution using memory structures. In this paper, to reduce the computation time for finding the optimal solution, changing tabu list size as intensification strategy and path relinking method as diversification strategy are proposed. To show the usefulness of the proposed method, we simulated for 10 units system and 110 units system. Numerical results show improvements in the generation costs and the computation time compared with priority list, genetic algorithm(GA), and hybrid GA.

Resource Constrained Dynamic Multi-Projects Scheduling(RCDMPS) is intended to minimize the total processing time(makespan) of two or more projects sequentially arriving at the shop under restricted resources. The aim of this paper is to develop the new Tabu Search heuristic for RCDMPS to minimize makespan. We propose the insertion method to generate the neighborhood solutions in applying the Tabu Search for the RCDMPS and the diversification strategy to search the solution space diversely. The proposed diversification strategy apply the dynamic tabu list that the tabu list size is generated and renewed at each iteration by the complexity of the project, and change the proposed tabu attribute. In this paper, We use the dynamic tabu list for the diversification strategy and intensification strategy in the tabu search, and compare with other dispatching heuristic method to verify that the new heuristic method minimize the makespan of the problem.

The objectives of this paper are to see how the declination is realized in the different positions/lengths of the utterance, to see if the $F_0$ value throughout the utterance changes in a predictable way, and if so, to find out the best quantitative model which fits the declination. The experiment results are as follows. First, the peak value over the utterance can be affected by the position of the peak and length of the utterance. Second, the choice of quantitative models is dependent on the different list lengths. Third, in everyone's speech, there is a baseline (the lowest $F_0$ value a speaker can use), and the $F_0$ will not fall below the baseline. Forth, the peak $F_0$ of the last word in each list shows little variation in pitch value (target $F_0$) while the number of words in the list affects the starting $F_0$ values.

When function modeling with IDEF0 which is called as a standard methodology for CALS (FIPS 183), the initial work is to determine the purpose and viewpoint, and the next work is to generate a data list and an activity list. This work requires participant's discussion and agreements. The main problems for these working are a communication between participants and efficient discussion processing. Brainstorming is the most useful method for this work. The paper is for development for the modeling assistant tool to promote the business modeling. In this paper, we will introduce the tool which name is 'MindMapper' and 'Dyna-IDEF'. Mind-mapper is software for mind-map method that is used for creative thinking. Using this tool, we refine the result of the brainstorming about activity list and translate the result into the functional model of IDEF0 using Dyna-IDEF. The translated functional model is prototype model without ICOM arrows.
