BLDC 서보 모터 펌프를 이용하는 직동력(PBW) 구동시스템의 DSP 제어기 및 구동기 설계 (Design of a DSP Controller and Driver for the Power-by-wire(PBW) Driving System Using BLDC Servo Motor Pump)

  • 본 논문은 BLDC 서보모터 펌프를 사용하는 PBW(power-by-wire) 시스템을 위한 DSP(Digital Signal Processor) 제어기에 대한 연구를 제시한다. PBW 유압 엑츄에이터는 BLDC 서보모터에 의해 구동되는 유압펌프와 유압 실린더 그리고 제어기로 구현된다. 이 PBW 시스템은 유압 실린더의 선형 추진 동작을 위해 서보 모터의 속도 제어를 필요로 한다. 본 논문에서는 벡터 제어 방법과 MIN-MAX PWM 기술을 활용하는 서보 제어기를 구현한다. 제어기로서, PWM 파형발생기, A/D변환기, SPI(직병렬인터페이스) 포트 그리고 많은 입/출력 포트 등을 가지고 있는 이유로 TMS320F2812 DSP가 채택되었다.

  • This study deals with the application of an artificial neural network (ANN) model to predict power consumption for utilizing seawater source heat pumps of recirculating aquaculture system. An integrated dynamic simulation model was constructed using the TRNSYS program to obtain input and output data for the ANN model to predict the power consumption of the recirculating aquaculture system with a heat pump system. Data obtained from the TRNSYS program were analyzed using linear regression, and converted into optimal data necessary for the ANN model through normalization. To optimize the ANN-based power consumption prediction model, the hyper parameters of ANN were determined using the Bayesian optimization. ANN simulation results showed that ANN models with optimized hyper parameters exhibited acceptably high predictive accuracy conforming to ASHRAE standards.

  • Intense quasi-monochromatic x-ray irradiation from the linear plasma target is described. The plasma x-ray generator employs a high-voltage power supply, a low-impedance coaxial transmission line, a high-voltage condenser with a capacity of about 200 nF, a turbo-molecular pump, a thyristor pulse generator as a trigger device, and a flash x-ray tube. The high-voltage main condenser is charged up to 55 kV by the power supply, and the electric charges in the condenser are discharged to the tube after triggering the cathode electrode. The x-ray tube is of a demountable triode that is connected to the turbo molecular pump with a pressure of approximately 1 mPa. As electron flows from the cathode electrode are roughly converged to the molybdenum target by the electric field in the tube, the weakly ionized plasma, which consists of metal ions and electrons, forms by the target evaporating. In the present work, the peak tube voltage was almost equal to the initial charging voltage of the main condenser, and the peak current was about 20 kA with a charging voltage of 55 kV. When the charging voltage was increased, the linear plasma x-ray source grew, and the characteristic x-ray intensities of K-series lines increased. The quite sharp lines such as hard x-ray lasers were clearly observed. The quasi-monochromatic radiography was performed by a new film-less computed radiography system.

High Power Switchable Dual-Wavelength Linear Polarized Yb-Dozped Fiber Laser around 1120 nm

  • A single-and dual-wavelength switchable polarized Yb-doped double-clad fiber laser around 1120 nm based on a pair of fiber Bragg gratings (FBGs) is demonstrated. The polarization-maintaining (PM) linear cavity is composed of a double clad PM Yb-doped fiber (YDF) and a pair of PM FBGs. The laser can operate in stable dual-wavelength or wavelength-switching modes due to the polarization hole burning (PHB) and the spatial hole burning (SHB) enhanced by the PM linear cavity. In dual-wavelength operation, the two orthogonally polarized wavelengths are centered at 1118.912 nm and 1119.152 nm, with an interval of 0.24 nm and a signal to noise ratio (SNR) of 35 dB. The maximum output power is 14.67 W when the launched LD pump is 24 W corresponding to an optical efficiency of 61.1%. The lasing lines switchover may be realized by adjusting the polarization controller (PC) fitted in the cavity. The two single-wavelengths are 1118.912 nm and 1119.152 nm. When the injected LD pump is 24 W, the highest output powers are 7.68 W and 8.64 W corresponding to optical efficiencies of 32% and 36% respectively. The spectral linewidth of the lasing lines are 0.075 nm and 0.07 nm, and the average numerical values of PER aredB and 19.9 dB, respectively.

  • This article deals with the analysis of a coupling between stationary Maxwell's equations, the transient state Navier-Stokes and thermal equations. The resolution of these equations is obtained by introducing the magnetic vector potential A, the vorticity ${\xi}$, the stream function ${\psi}$ and the temperature T. The flux density, the electromagnetic thrust, the electric power density, the velocity, the pressure and the temperature are graphically visualized. Also, the influence of the frequency is presented.

Nano-Second Periodically Poled Lithium Niobate Optical Parametric Oscillator with Planar Cavity Mirrors

  • We investigated a high-output ower, periodically poled lithium niobate(PPLN) optical parametric oscillator(OPO) pumped by a Q-switched Nd:YAG laser. Given the low optical damage threshold and the limited aperture (0.5mm thick) of PPLN, we tried to maximize the signal output power in a linear cavity consisting of two flat mirrors with a loosely focused pump beam. It is found that this simple cavity structure allowed a robust OPO operation, which was not sensitive to alignment compared with the conventional ones using concave mirrors. A maximum energy of 100$\mu$J/pulse was achieved for the signal at 1.36${\mu}{\textrm}{m}$, while the oscillation threshold was 0.3 mJ/pulse for the pump at 1064 nm.

  • A new pixel driving method for organic light-emitting diode (OLED) flat-panel display (FPD) is proposed. The new charge-pump passive-matrix pixel driver consists only of a storage capacitance and a rectifying diode, and no thin-film transistor (TFT) is needed. The new driver not only supplies a constant current to the OLED throughout the whole period of panel scanning like an active-matrix driver, but also provides a highly linear gray-scale control through a pure digital manner.

온수나방 시스템의 디지틀 가변구조제어 (Digital Variable Structure Control for a Hot Water Heating System)

  • A pilot plant, which is simplified the hot water heating control system of a large scale residential building, is used to investigate the effects of control methods and operating conditions on the system performance and to compare control characteristics. Digital variable structure controller(DVSC) and digital PI controller are implemented to control the speed of the circulating pump for the pilot plant using PC. For the DVSC, a control algorithm is suggested, which using a nonlinear sliding surface and a PID sliding surface outside and inside of output error boundary layer, respectively. Smith predictor algorithm is used for the compensation of long dead time. The suggested DVSC yields improved control performance compared with existing DVSC using linear sliding surface only. the system responses with the suggested DVSC shows good responses without overshoot for various operating conditions and robust under external disturbances compared with digital PI controller.

  • 본 논문에서는 고진공용 터보분자펌프의 비접촉 고속회전을 위한 자기베어링 시스템의 디지털 제어시스템의 설계에 대하여 소개하였으며, 실례로 800 l/s급의 고진공 펌프에 대하여 축 유연모드의 후방향 위험속도를 넘는 최대 40,000 rpm까지의 회전실험 결과를 나타내었다. 제안된 제어시스템은 기본적으로 PID 기반의 직접궤환 제어기와 자이로스코픽 모멘트 효과를 제어하기 위한 교차궤환기, 유연모우드 감쇄를 위한 리드필터와 동기진동 저감을 위한 노치필터 등으로 구성되어 있으며, 이러한 제어기는 자기부상형 터보분자펌프 외에 고속 플라이휠과 같은 자기베어링에 적용될 수 있다.

Compressible Simulation of Rotor-Stator Interaction in Pump-Turbines

  • This work investigates the influence of water compressibility on pressure pulsations induced by rotor-stator interaction (RSI) in hydraulic machinery, using the commercial CFD solver ANSYS-CFX. A pipe flow example with harmonic velocity excitation at the inlet plane is simulated using different grid densities and time step sizes. Results are compared with a validated code for hydraulic networks (SIMSEN). Subsequently, the solution procedure is applied to a simplified 2.5-dimensional pump-turbine configuration in prototype with different speeds of sound as well as in model scale with an adapted speed of sound. Pressure fluctuations are compared with numerical and experimental data based on prototype scale. The good agreement indicates that the scaling of acoustic effects with an adapted speed of sound works well. With respect to pressure fluctuation amplitudes along the centerline of runner channels, incompressible solutions exhibit a linear decrease while compressible solutions exhibit sinusoidal distributions with maximum values at half the channel length, coinciding with analytical solutions of one-dimensional acoustics. Furthermore, in compressible simulation the amplification of pressure fluctuations is observed from the inlet of stay vane channels to the spiral case wall. Finally, the procedure is applied to a three-dimensional pump configuration in model scale with adapted speed of sound. Normalized Pressure fluctuations are compared with results from prototype measurements. Compared to incompressible computations, compressible simulations provide similar pressure fluctuations in vaneless space, but pressure fluctuations in spiral case and penstock may be much higher.
