공기 동역학 하중이 부유식 해상 풍력 발전기의 계류선 응답에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구 (A Study on Effect of Aerodynamic Loads on Mooring Line Responses of a Floating Offshore Wind Turbine)

  • This paper presents effect of aerodynamic loads on mooring line responses of a floating offshore wind turbine. A Matlab code based on blade element momentum (BEM) theory is developed to consider aerodynamic loads acting on NREL 5MW wind turbine. The aerodynamic loads are coupled with time-domain hydrodynamic analyses using one-way interaction scheme of the wave and wind loads. A semi-submersible floating platform which is from Offshore Code Comparison Collaborative Continuation(OC4) DeepCWind platform is used with catenary mooring lines simply composed of studless chain links. Average values of mooring peak tensions obtained from aerodynamic load consideration are significantly increased compared to those from simple wind drag force consideration. Consideration of aerodynamic loads also yield larger tension ranges which can be important factor to reduce fatigue life of the mooring lines.

  • The present study developed a numerical simulation tool for the coupled dynamic analysis of multiple turbines on a single floater (or Multiple Unit Floating Offshore Wind Turbine (MUFOWT)) in the time domain, considering the multiple-turbine aero-blade-tower dynamics and control, mooring dynamics, and platform motions. The numerical tool developed in this study was designed based on and extended from the single-turbine analysis tool FAST to make it suitable for multiple turbines. For the hydrodynamic loadings of floating platform and mooring-line dynamics, the CHARM3D program developed by the authors was incorporated. Thus, the coupled dynamic behavior of a floating base with multiple turbines and mooring lines can be simulated in the time domain. To investigate the effect of asymmetric aerodynamic loading on the global performance and mooring line tensions of the MUFOWT, one turbine failure case with a fully feathered blade pitch angle was simulated and checked. The aerodynamic interference between adjacent turbines, including the wake effect, was not considered in this study to more clearly demonstrate the influence of the asymmetric aerodynamic loading on the MUFOWT. The analysis shows that the unbalanced aerodynamic loading from one turbine in MUFOWT may induce appreciable changes in the performance of the floating platform and mooring system.

  • The pulley-type tensioning device subjected to a maximum tension of 34 kN has been developed for 400 km/h high-speed railway. The tensioning device is to maintain the tension variation within 3% of the normal value, irregardless of temperature changes. Field tests shows that the tensioning device had a variation of tension which was as small as 0.6% as temperatures changed from $-5{\sim}7^{\circ}C$. Along with the tensions, we measured its X and Y movements due to the temperature changes. Based on a combination of its X and Y movements, we proposed a new performance index with which we can see if the tensioning device has troubles in operation without tension measurements.

  • 본 연구의 목적은 시조의 긴장의 유형을 문학치료 프로그램에 적극적으로 활용하기 위한 것이다. 왕방연의 시조를 대상으로 살펴보고자 한다. 왕방연의 시조는 잘 알려지지 않고 있어 논의해 보기로 하는 것이다. 왕방연의 시조는 수식어가 다음 문장에 긴장을 일으키며 의미를 전달하는 효과를 지니고 있다. 이러한 문학적 틀은 문학치료의 프로그램에 유용하게 사용될 수 있을 것으로 사료된다.

Wind spectral characteristics on strength design of floating offshore wind turbines

  • Characteristics of a turbulence wind model control the magnitude and frequency distribution of wind loading on floating offshore wind turbines (FOWTs), and an in-depth understanding of how wind spectral characteristics affect the responses, and ultimately the design cost of system components, is in shortage in the offshore wind industry. Wind spectrum models as well as turbulence intensity curves recommended by the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) have characteristics derived from land-based sites, and have been widely adopted in offshore wind projects (in the absence of site-specific offshore data) without sufficient assessment of design implications. In this paper, effects of wind spectra and turbulence intensities on the strength or extreme responses of a 5 MW floating offshore wind turbine are investigated. The impact of different wind spectral parameters on the extreme blade loads, nacelle accelerations, towertop motions, towerbase loads, platform motions and accelerations, and mooring line tensions are presented and discussed. Results highlight the need to consider the appropriateness of a wind spectral model implemented in the strength design of FOWT structures.

니트 플레어 스커트의 무봉제형 편성 방법에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Seamless Knitting Method of Knitted Flare Skirts)

  • The purpose of this study was to observe the changes of skirt length of knitted flare skirts when the seamless test garments were made which had been having full shape while being knitted and to change and amend the challenges in advance when those were knitted. For this study, I made 6 kinds of knitted test garments of wool 100% yarn with seamless knitting machine, which differed from each other by skirt angles ($90^{\circ},\;180^{\circ}$) and gauges (7G, 12G, 15G), and then I measured deflection changes of their length for 2 weeks. Findings and conclusions drawn from this study were as follows: First, the side seam line of full shape hecame somewhat longer than center. Second, 7G and $180^{\circ}$ knitted flare skirt showed the biggest length deflection changes. Third, there was no difference at rear waist deflection changes between front pattern and rear. Fourth, it was difficult to control the tensions of right and left strings as to the knitting directions.

Study on dynamic behavior analysis of towed line array sensor

  • A set of equations of motion is derived for vibratory motions of an underwater cable connected to a moving vehicle at one end and with drogues at the other end. From the static analysis, cable configurations are obtained for different vehicle speeds and towing pretensions are determined by fluid resistance of drogues. Also the dynamic analysis is required to predict its vibratory motion. Nonlinear fluid drag forces greatly influence the dynamic tension. In this study, a numerical analysis program was developed to find out the characteristic of cable behaviour. The motion is described in terms of space and time coordinates based on Chebyshev polynomial expansions. For the spatial integration the collocation method is employed and the Newmark method is applied for the time integration. Dynamic tensions, displacements, velocities, accelerations were predicted in the time domain while natural frequencies and transfer functions were obtained in the frequency domain.

  • A coupled dynamic analysis of a semisubmersible-type FOWT has been carried out in time domain under the combined action of irregular wave and turbulent wind represented respectively by JONSWAP spectrum and Kaimal spectrum. To account for the turbine-floater motion coupling in a more realistic way, the wind turbulence has been incorporated into the calculation of aerodynamic loads. The platform model was referred from the DeepCwind project and the turbine considered here was the NREL 5MW Baseline. To account for the operationality of the turbine, two different environmental conditions (operational and survival) have been considered and the aerodynamic effect of turbine-rotation on actual responses of the FOWT has been studied. Higher mean offsets in surge and pitch responses were obtained under the operational condition as compared to the survival condition. The mooring line tensions were also observed to be sensitive to the rotation of turbine due to the turbulence of wind and overestimated responses were found when the constant wind was considered in the analysis. Additionally, a special analysis case of sudden shutdown of the turbine has also been considered to study the swift modification of responses and tension in the mooring cables.

닻줄변형에 관한 원심모형해석 (Centrifuge Model Analysis on Mooring Line Deformation)

  • 선박을 정착시키기 위하여 해저지반에 관입된 드래그 / 영구앵커와 앵커에 연결된 닻줄의 지지력 및 변형을 해석하여, 기존의 앵커와 닻줄의 분석 및 개발을 위하여 만들어진 해석프로그램을 calibration 하기 위하여 원심모형시험기를 사용한 시험을 하였다. 시험에 사용된 닻줄은 ball chain 및 wire cable로써, 일정한 단면을 가지고 있으며, 해성점토 지반 안에 다양한 깊이로 정착시킨 후 원심모형시험을 실시하였다. 현장응력조건을 모사하기 위하여, 미리 응력을 가한 시험용 닻줄에 단계별 가속을 하였다. 이 논문은 닻줄의 해석을 위한 중요한 두 가지 변수인 닻줄과 지반의 부착력 및 접착면적환산계수를 결정하기 위한 과정을 설명하고자 하였으며, 이로 인한 닻줄의 변형 및 지지력 변화를 규명하였다.

영각의 변화에 대한 전개판의 정적 안정성 연구 (A study on the static stability of the otter board in relation to the angle of attack)

  • 본 연구에서는 전개판의 영각 변화에 따른 정적안정성에 관하여 이론적 해석을 하였다. 또한 전개판의 형상별 유체력에 의한 정적 안정성을 평가하기 위하여 종횡비가 다른 평판과 만곡도가 다른 종만곡판을 사용하여 회류수조에서 유체력 및 모벤트를 측정하고 형상별 압력중섬계수와 모멘트 계수를 계산하였다. 본 연구에서 얻어진 결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 1. 전개판의 영각($\alpha$) 변화에 따른 끌줄의 장력과 후릿줄의 장력에 의한 모멘트 변화는 전개판을 항상 정적 안정성을 가지도록 작용한다. 2. 종횡비(λ)가 0.5, 1.0, 1.5인 평판의 압력중심계 수는 영각의 증가와 함께 전연에서 중심쪽으로 이동한다. 이것은 유체력에 의한 모멘트는 항상 정적으로 안정하도록 작용한다는 것을 의미한다. 3. 종횡비가 일정(λ=1.5)하고, 만곡도(CR)가 5%, 10%, 15%, 20%인 만곡판의 유체력에 의한 압력중심계수는 영각의 증가와 함께 후연에서 전연쪽으로 이동한 다음, 다시 만곡판의 중심쪽으로 이동한다 만곡판에 작용하는 유체력에 의한 모멘트는 만곡도가 커질수록 정적으로 불안정한 영각의 범위가 증가한다.
