고속선용 드롭퍼 피로분석 연구 (A Study on Fatigue Analysis of Dropper for High Speed Electric Railway)

  • The dropper supports the contact wire and is attached using thimbles and various types of dropper clips on the catenary. Consequently droppers are subject to mechanical loads from friction and buckling during the passage of pantographs. If such mechanical loads occur repeatedly with every passing pantograph, it is possible that the dropper wire will break due to fatigue. In order to investigate failure causes for the high speed line dropper, theoretical analyses and experiments have been carried out. In this paper, mathematical formulas are derived for the prediction of the dropper static load. The measured values in the experiment agree well with the theoretical predictions. And, we performed measurement for the variation of forces on the dropper. To analyze the cause analysis on fracture of dropper wire, we have conducted experiment such as fatigue test of new products, SEM(Scanning Electron Microscope) and EDX(Energy Dispersive X-ray) of fractured specimens in the field. Finally, we also measured the vertical displacements when a pantograph moved at 300km/h under the Korean high speed overhead line.

  • 본 연구에서는 부하의 변동 시에 고품질의 전력을 얻기 위하여 중성선과 전력선에 흐르는 각각의 영상 전류 성분과 제3고조파 전류 성분을 감소시킬 수 있는 Zig-Zag 변압기, 그리고 그 변압기의 2차측에 3상 브리지 정류기와 케패시터로 구성된 단상 능동 필터를 제작하였다. 이 단상 능동 필터를 변압기와 비선형 부하에 연결시켜 각 상에 보상 전류를 발생시킴으로써, 비선형 부하로 인하여 발생하는 제3고조파 성분을 감소시킬 수 있었다.

  • 본 논문은 결함 접지 구조(DGS)를 이용하여 높은 위상 천이 특성을 갖는 새로운 위상 천이기를 제안하였다. 결함 접지 구조의 공진점 부근에서 발생하는 큰 위상 변화를 위상 천이기에 이용하기 위해 결함 접지 구조를 갖는 위상 천이기 부하에 바렉터 다이오드를 실장하였다. 두 가지 방식의 위상 천이기를 branch-line hybrid와 coupled line hybrid를 이용하여 구현하였으며, 실험 결과 제안된 위상 천이기는 기존의 방식을 이용한 것의 최대 위상 천이 값과 비교하여 각각 $135\%$$221\%$의 위상 천이값 증가를 보였다.

  • 전력선 통신을 이용한 MH(메탈핼라이드) 램프용 조광제어시스템을 구성하기 위하여, 전력선 모뎀 및 MH 램프용 전자식 안정기를 설계하고, 안정기가 전력선 채널에 미치는 영향을 분석하였다. 전력선이 통신채널로써 사용될시 채널의 특성은 부하에 의하여 변화하게 되므로, 부하는 전력선 통신에 적합하도록 설계되어야 한다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 전력선 통신에 적합한 전자식 안정기를 제안하고, ASK와 FSK 두 종류의 전력선 모뎀을 설계하여 맨체스터 코드와 DS/SS 방식을 각각 적용하였다. 실험결과, DS/SS 방식이 적용된 FSK 전력선 모뎀이 가장 우수한 특성을 갖는 것으로 확인 되었다.

  • Most of the loads in industrial power distribution systems are balanced and connected to three power systems. However, voltage unbalance is generated at the user's 3-phase 4-wire distribution systems with single & three phase. Voltage unbalance is mainly affected by load system rather than power system. Unbalanced voltage will draws a highly unbalanced current and results in the temperature rise and the low output characteristics at the machine. It is necessary to analyse correct voltage unbalance factor for reduction of side effects in the industrial sites. Voltage unbalance is usually defined by the maximum percent deviation of voltages from their average value, by the method of symmetric components or by the expression in a more user-friendly form which requires only the three line voltage readings. If the neutral point is moved by the unbalanced load at the 3-phase 4-wire system. Line and phase voltage unbalance leads to different results due to zero-sequence component. So that it is difficult to analyse voltage unbalance factor by the conventional analytical method, This paper presents a new analytical method for phase and line voltage unbalance factor in 4-wire systems. Two methods indicate exact results.

해수운동모델을 이용한 황해 환경용량의 개략 산정 (A Rough Estimation of Environmental Capacity in the Yellow Sea using a Numerical Hydrodynamic Model)

  • 3파원 해수유동모델을 이용하여 황해의 잔차류를 시뮬레이션한 결과, 북위 34° 25' 위도선을 통한 잔차류량은 조석주기당 약 4km³, 체류시간은 약 6년으로 산성되었고, 황해의 남동 경계선을 통한 잔차류량은 조석주기당 약 13km³, 체류시간은 약 2.5년으로 산정되었다. 황해의 용존산소량은 하계의 해수중 용존산소를 5.0mg/ℓ이상으로 유지하면서, 약 58×10/sup 6/ton의 화학적 산소요구량(COD)윽 수용할 수 있으므로, 유기오염 부하량의 한계로 표현한 황해의 환경용량은 황해고 유입하는 주요 하천들의 연간 유기오염 부하량의 약 8배에 해당한다. 하계에 있어서, 북위 34ℓ 25' 위도선의 전체 수층을 통한 잔차류량은 하루에 약 57×10³ton의 용존산소를 수송하고, 또한 황해의 남동 경계선의 전체 수층을 통한 잔차류량은 하구에 약 203×10³ton의 용존산소를 수송하는 것으로 산정되었다. 따라서 황해가 해수중의 용존산소를 전혀 감소시키지 않고, 유입 하천의 유기오염 부하량을 수용할 수 있는 환경용량은, 북위 34° 25' 위도선을 통한 잔차류에 의한 용존산소 수송량을 기준으로 표현할 경우에는 황해고 유입하는 주요 하천들의 화학적 산소요구량(COD) 부하의 약 3배에 해당하고, 또한 황해의 남동 경계선을 통한 잔차류에 의한 용존산소 수송량을 기준으로 표현하면, 황해로 유입하는 주요 하천들의 화학적 산소요구량(COD) 부하의 약 10배에 해당한다.

Elastic Wave Propagation in Monoclinic System Due to Transient Line Load

  • In this paper, we study the response of several anisotropic systems to buried transient line loads. The problem is mathematically formulated based on the equations of motion in the constitutive relations. The load is in form of a normal stress acting with arbitrary axis on the plane of monoclinic symmetry. Plane wave equation is coupled with vertical shear wave, longitudinal wave and horizontal shear wave. We first considered the equation of motion in reference coordinate system, where the line load is coincident with symmetry axis of the orthotrioic material. Then the equation of motion is transformed with respect to general coordiante system with azimuthal angle by using transformation tensor. The load is first described as a body force in the equations of the motion for the infinite media and then it is mathematically characterized. Subsequently the results for semi-infinite spaces is also obtained by using superposition of the infinite medium solution together with a scattered solution from the free surface. Consequently explicit solutions for the displacements are obtained by using Cargniard-DeHoop contour. Numerical results which are drawn from concrete examples of orthotropic material belonging to monoclinic symmetry are demonstrated.

  • In this paper, an intelligent demand control system was introduced. This system are composed of demand controller, RTU, power line modem and HMI program. The proposed demand controller was capable of synchronizing with watt-hour meter recommended by KEPCO(Korea Electrical Power Corporation). To control remote loads, network function using powerline communication is implemented in RTU with HMI program and novices are able to operate system easily. Additionally using the power line, the cost and time of installation can b saved. The system performance was proved with a several experiments.

  • Lightning has been identified as one of the leading causes of outages on transmission and distribution systems. As sensitive loads and reliance on electric power increase year by year, it is getting more focus on stable and high quality of power supply. To protect the transmission and distribution line from lightning, the transmission lightning arrester can be the effective facility on the power system. This paper discusses Gapped type Arresters application results by analysing effects of lightning arresters on transmission and distribution line.

Surface displacements due to tunneling in granular soils in presence and absence of geosynthetic layer under footings

  • This paper presents the results of numerical modeling studies on the effect of displacements of tunneling in granular soils. Presence of building loads is considered, to find displacement generated at the surface on tunnel. Effect of varying eccentricities of building is simulated, to find influence of building on vertical and horizontal displacement. Studies were carried out in two cases of with and without a geosynthetic layer installed at the bottom of the footing. Results of analysis revealed, the presence of geosynthetic layer under footing, with building placed on centre line, reduced the surface displacements compared to displacement generated without geosynthetic layer. Presence of geosynthetic layer under footing had a dominant effect in reducing displacements in high storey structures. However, when the building was shifted to greater eccentricities from centre line, presence of geosynthetic layer, led to insignificant reduction of displacements on the centre line at the surface.
