In this paper, authors developed a real-time simulation algorithm for the power device application of HTS(High Temperature Superconducting) wire by using Real Time Digital Simulator(RTDS). At present, in order to extend the power capacity of some area where has a serious problem of power quality. especially metropolitan complex city, there are so many problems such as right of way for power line routes. space for downtown substations. and the environmental protection, etc. HTS technology can be useful to overcome this problem. Recently, according to the advanced HTS technology, the power application is being researched well. Simulation is required for safety before installation of HTS power cable, a fabrication model used at the power system simulation. This paper describes a real time digital simulation method for the application of HTS wire to power device. For the simulation analysis, test sample of HTS wire was actually manufactured. And the transient phenomenon of the HTS wire was analysed in the simulated utility power grid. This simulation method is the world first trial in order to obtain much better information for installation of HTS power device into a utility network.

With the fast development of artificial intelligence day by day, users are demanding explanations about the results of algorithms and want to know what parameters influence the results. In this paper, we propose a model for bankruptcy prediction with interpretability using the SHAP framework. SHAP (SHAPley Additive exPlanations) is framework that gives a visualized result that can be used for explanation and interpretation of machine learning models. As a result, we can describe which features are important for the result of our deep learning model. SHAP framework Force plot result gives us top features which are mainly reflecting overall model score. Even though Fully Connected Neural Networks are a "black box" model, Shapley values help us to alleviate the "black box" problem. FCNNs perform well with complex dataset with more than 60 financial ratios. Combined with SHAP framework, we create an effective model with understandable interpretation. Bankruptcy is a rare event, then we avoid imbalanced dataset problem with the help of SMOTE. SMOTE is one of the oversampling technique that resulting synthetic samples are generated for the minority class. It uses K-nearest neighbors algorithm for line connecting method in order to producing examples. We expect our model results assist financial analysts who are interested in forecasting bankruptcy prediction of companies in detail.
The effects of wave energy focusing by a submerged berm type of structure is examined. The fundamental idea is based on the phenomenon of refraction by a lens-shaped crescent structure which results in the focusing of wave energy on the center line of the structure. The shape of the submerged structure is a complex curve combining circular with elliptical elements. Based on the design procedure, a special configuration of structure(termed herein as a triple crescent structure) is introduced. Next, some hydraulic model tests are performed to confirm the wave focusing effect in laboratory. In addition, in order to interpret the wave focusing performance behind the structure, a numerical procedure by the hybrid element method is used on the basis of the conventional mild slope equation but modified and extended to allow for steeper bottom slopes and higher curvature. The modified refraction and diffraction provide additional mechanism for wave height amplification and the maximum amplification for triple crescent structure is presented. It also allows for the possibility of wave energy scattering with the change of the incident wave direction. Comparisons with previous theoretical results involving a submerged crescent shape structure are described.

Controversies exist regarding the need for prophylactic extraction of mandibular third molars in patients who plan to undergo orthognathic surgery. An 18-year-old male patient was diagnosed with mandibular prognathism and maxillary retrognathism with mild facial asymmetry. He had a severely damaged mandibular first molar and a horizontally impacted third molar. After extraction of the first molar, the second molar was protracted into the first molar space, and the third molar erupted into the posterior line of occlusion. The orthognathic surgery involved clockwise rotation of the maxillomandibular complex as well as angle shaving and chin border trimming. Patients who are missing or have damaged mandibular molars should be monitored for eruption of third molars to replace the missing posterior tooth regardless of the timing of orthognathic surgery.

Natural killer (NK) cells are an essential part of the innate immune system that helps control infections and tumors. Recent studies have shown that Vorinostat, a histone deacetylase (HDAC) inhibitor, can cause significant changes in gene expression and signaling pathways in NK cells. Since gene expression in eukaryotic cells is closely linked to the complex three-dimensional (3D) chromatin architecture, an integrative analysis of the transcriptome, histone profiling, chromatin accessibility, and 3D genome organization is needed to gain a more comprehensive understanding of how Vorinostat impacts transcription regulation of NK cells from a chromatin-based perspective. The results demonstrate that Vorinostat treatment reprograms the enhancer landscapes of the human NK-92 NK cell line while overall 3D genome organization remains largely stable. Moreover, we identified that the Vorinostat-induced RUNX3 acetylation is linked to the increased enhancer activity, leading to elevated expression of immune response-related genes via long-range enhancer-promoter chromatin interactions. In summary, these findings have important implications in the development of new therapies for cancer and immune-related diseases by shedding light on the mechanisms underlying Vorinostat's impact on transcriptional regulation in NK cells within the context of 3D enhancer network.

This study explores the issue of program management consortia involving multinational participants. The aim of this research was to leverage advantages in program management (PM) skills and PM model improvement in product line construction in mega scale construction programs, typically funded by public funds. Such ventures involve multinational parties using dedicated partnering based on a program management consortium (PMC) to reduce confrontation between parties in complex circumstances, allowing an open and non-adversarial approach to project management. This research also seeks to implement an ongoing feedback program of best practices and lessons learned to minimize the repetition of mistakes and to reduce costs in sequenced construction. Recently, the Korean government has planned to undertake three large new projects: the Korean Peninsula major river maintenance, the reclamation of Se-Mangum, and the Science/Business City. This paper starts by providing a framework for the cost-reduction strategy for the United States Forces Korea (USFK) Relocation Program, which will be funded with public funds and a private fund investment (PFI) that combines programs executed by two governments as owners and multinational stakeholders, joined in the PMC. The establishment of project-oriented consortia is an innovative and non-adversarial approach to massive international construction projects. Such projects have used various tools effectively and skillfully. This experience may offer an opportunity to practice new and advanced program management delivery methods, and it is expected that Korea will gain a competitive advantage in the international construction market.

The purpose of the target system for the muon spin rotation, relaxation, and resonance (µSR) facility at the Rare isotope Accelerator complex for ON-line experiments (RAON) is to induce the production of a significant number of surface muons in thermally stable experiments. The manufactured target system was installed at RAON in the Sindong area near Daejeon in 2021. The design was made conservatively with a sufficient margin of safety through ANSYS calculations; however, verification experiments had to be performed on the ANSYS calculations. Because the 600-MeV proton beam has not yet been provided, an alternative way to reproduce the calculation conditions was required. The radio frequency (RF) heating method, which has not yet been applied to the target verification experiment but has several advantages, was used. It was observed that the RF heating method has promise for testing the thermal stability of the target, and whether the target system design process was performed conservatively enough was verified by comparing the RF heating experiments with the ANSYS calculations.

The Rare isotope Accelerator complex for ON-line experiments in Korea houses several accelerator complexes. Among them, the µSR facility will be initially equipped with a 600 MeV and 100 kW proton beam to generate surface muons, and will be upgraded to 400 kW with the same energy. Accelerated proton beams lose approximately 20% of the power at the target, and the remaining power is concentrated in the beam direction. Therefore, to ensure safe operation of the facility, concentrated protons must be distributed and absorbed at the beam dump. Additionally, effective dose levels must be lower than the legal standard, and the beam dumps used at 100 kW should be reused at 400 kW to minimize the generation of radioactive waste. In this study, we introduce a tailored method for designing beam dumps based on the characteristics of the µSR facility. To optimize the geometry, the absorbed power and effective dose were calculated using the MCNP6 code. The temperature and stress were determined using the ANSYS Mechanical code. Thus, the beam dump design consists of six structures when operated at 100 kW, and a 400 kW beam dump consisting of 24 structures was developed by reusing the 100 kW beam dump.

Unlike artificially created homogeneous materials, the process of calculating the elastic modulus of natural soil involves the possibility of errors. Because the stress-strain behavior of soil is nonlinear, the secant modulus of elasticity is often used based on 1/2 of the stress at failure. Since soil has the property of changing its elastic modulus depending on the confining pressure, numerical analysis models that analyze its behavior inevitably include complex elements. The hyperbolic model, which relatively accurately simulates the behavior immediately after loading in soft ground, assumes that the stress-strain curve of the consolidated undrained triaxial test is hyperbolic and requires the slope of the tangent line at the starting point. However, the slope of the initial tangent in the stress-strain curve obtained from an actual triaxial test is difficult to have regularity according to changes in confining pressure. Additionally, due to the characteristics of a hyperbola, even small changes in related factors cause large changes in the hyperbola. Therefore, there is a lot of randomness in the process of calculating model parameters from the triaxial test results, which causes large differences in the results. Therefore, the method of calculating the initial elastic modulus by the consolidation test presented in this study is also used to verify the method by the triaxial test. It can be applied. However, since this study was applied to only one sample showing typical consolidation characteristics, it is necessary to check samples with various physical properties in the future.

With the rapid evolution of the Internet, the application of artificial intelligence fields is more and more extensive, and the era of AI has come. At the same time, adversarial attacks in the AI field are also frequent. Therefore, the research into adversarial attack security is extremely urgent. An increasing number of researchers are working in this field. We provide a comprehensive review of the theories and methods that enable researchers to enter the field of adversarial attack. This article is according to the "Why? → What? → How?" research line for elaboration. Firstly, we explain the significance of adversarial attack. Then, we introduce the concepts, types, and hazards of adversarial attack. Finally, we review the typical attack algorithms and defense techniques in each application area. Facing the increasingly complex neural network model, this paper focuses on the fields of image, text, and malicious code and focuses on the adversarial attack classifications and methods of these three data types, so that researchers can quickly find their own type of study. At the end of this review, we also raised some discussions and open issues and compared them with other similar reviews.
