도시 지표면 온도분포 특성 및 열섬완화방안 (A Study on the Distribution Characteristic of Urban Surface Temperature and Urban Heat Island Effects)

  • The purpose of this research was to three-criteria landuse-pattern, developing density, NDVI which were related to the heat island and find the distribution characteristic of urban surface temperature and urban heat island effects. The results of this study were as follows. According to the analysis of surface temperatures, the first grade was the outside-city like a mountain and its temperature was less than $12.18^{\circ}C$. The fifth grade was the downtown industrial area and its temperature was more than $23.54^{\circ}C$. It means Daegu-Metropolitan-City has the serious heat-island effect. the results of landuse pattern analysis, in case of fifth and forth grade, city area was occupied over 90% with residential, commercial and industrial areas, but in case of third grade, openspace was occupied over 70%. The results of developing density analysis, the temperature had high correlation with building ratio, road ratio, vegetation ratio and etc. To plan for the decrease of heat island effect needed the extension of green space, decrease of paving, but there was a limit to get the objective method for grade classification because of lacking in the basic data, the research of criteria will be accomplished continuously.

보강사면(補强斜面)에 대한 Centrifuge Test와 Two-part Wedge 해석(解析)의 비교평가(比較評價) (Comparison and Evaluation of Two-part Wedge Analysis for Reinforced Slopes with Centrifuge Test)

  • Results of two-part wedge analysis and centrifuge test executed by Zornberg et al. were compared for geotextile-reinforced slope stability. For two-part wedge analysis results of two cases, a frictional case considering internal friction of soil as interwedge friction and a nonfrictional case not considering, were also compared and evaluated. The analysis was based on limit equilibrium and two-part wedge was divided into slices as many as the number of geotextiles to obtain a maximum tension distribution mobilized in reinforcements. A significant observation was that the distribution was a triangular shape with maximum tension of geotextile at a transit point of interwedge. The number of geotextiles and failure surface of frictional case were reasonable and more comparable to results of the centrifuge tests than those of nonfrictional case. Therefore it can be said that two-part wedge analysis is recommendable for design analysis of reinforced slopes if an interwedge angle is regarded to be an angle of internal friction in soil.

Chemical Equilibrium and Synergism for Solvent Extraction of Trace Lithium with Thenoyltrifluoroacetone in the Presence of Trioctylphosphine Oxide

  • Equilibria and applications of a synergistic extraction were studied for the determination of a trace lithium by using thenoyltrifluoroacetone (TTA) and trioctylphosphine oxide (TOPO) as ligands. Several equations were derived for the extraction of lithium into m-xylene as a phase of Li-TTA·mTOPO adduct. Distribution coefficients and extraction constant were determined together with a stability constant of the adduct. The adduct was quantitatively extracted from the basic solution of higher than pH 9 by shaking for 30 minutes. m-Xylene was selected as an optimum solvent by comparing the extraction efficiency among several kinds of organic solvents. The stability constant (${\Beta}_2$) for Li-TTA/2TOPO was 150 times higher than Li-TTA/TOPO. The distribution coefficient of Li-TTA/2TOPO into m-xylene was 9.12 and the logarithmic extraction constant (log $K_{ex}$) was 6.76. Trace lithium of sub-ppm level in seawater samples could be determined under modified conditions and a detection limit equivalent to 3 times standard deviation for background absorption was 0.42 ng/mL.

고압 환경에서의 분무 특성 계측을 위한 광학 토모그래피 기법 연구 (Study of Optical Tomography for Measurement of Spray Characteristics at High Ambient Pressure)

  • 광학 선형 패터네이터 및 광학 토모그래피 기법을 사용하여 높은 주위 기체 압력 조건에서 분무단면을 측정하였다. 레이저 직선광이 분무 영역을 지나도록 하여 발생하는 Mie 산란 신호 및 직선광의 투과율을 측정하였으며, 이로부터 Beer-Lambert 법칙 및 수학적 단면 재구성 기법을 이용하여 분무 단면의 감쇠 계수 분포를 재구성하였다. 높은 주위 기체 압력 조건에서 광학적으로 밀한 분무가 발생하며, 그 결과 산란 신호의 감쇠 효과가 크게 증가한다. 따라서 미 산란 신호를 이용하는 광학 선형 패터네이터의 경우 감쇠 효과를 완화하는 데 한계를 보인다. 광학 토모그래피의 경우 분무를 통과하는 레이저광의 투과율 정보만을 이용하여 성공적으로 분무 단면을 재구성하였다.

  • NOx의 배출저감 방법으로 선박용 디젤엔진의 최적화만으로는 배기가스의 NOx 배출량 제한을 만족시킬 수 없기 때문에 반드시 배기가스를 후처리하여 NOx를 저감할 수 있는 방안이 요구된다. 본 연구에서는 현재 개발 중에 있는 선박용 SCR 촉매 유닛 일체형 덕트용 오일 버너 시스템에서 요소수를 NH3로 효과적으로 변환하기 위한 이류체 노즐과 믹싱 챔버 덕트에 관한 설계 타당성 여부를 속도분포 및 온도분포에 대한 전산열유동 해석을 통해 검토하고자 한다.

Optimization of Sky-Bridge location at coupled high-rise buildings considering seismic vulnerability functions

  • Sky-bridges between adjacent buildings can enhance lateral stiffness and limit the impact of lateral forces. This study analysed the structural capabilities and dynamic performances of sky-bridge-coupled buildings under various sets of ground motions. Finite Element (FE) analyses were carried out with the link being iteratively repositioned along the full height of the structures. Incremental dynamic analysis (IDA) and probabilistic damage distribution were also applied. The results indicated that the establishment of sky-bridges caused a slight change in the natural frequency and mode shapes. The sky-bridge system was shown to be efficient in controlling displacement and Inter-Storey Drift Ratio (%ISDR) and reducing the probability of damage in the higher floors. The most efficient location of the sky-bridge, for improving its rigidity, was found to be at 88% of the building height. Finally, the effects of two types of materials (steel and concrete) and end conditions (hinged and fixed) were studied. The outcomes showed that coupled buildings with a sky-bridge made of steel with hinged connection could withstand ground motions longer than those made of concrete with fixed connection.

Reliability of mortar filling layer void length in in-service ballastless track-bridge system of HSR

  • To study the evaluation standard and control limit of mortar filling layer void length, in this paper, the train sub-model was developed by MATLAB and the track-bridge sub-model considering the mortar filling layer void was established by ANSYS. The two sub-models were assembled into a train-track-bridge coupling dynamic model through the wheel-rail contact relationship, and the validity was corroborated by the coupling dynamic model with the literature model. Considering the randomness of fastening stiffness, mortar elastic modulus, length of mortar filling layer void, and pier settlement, the test points were designed by the Box-Behnken method based on Design-Expert software. The coupled dynamic model was calculated, and the support vector regression (SVR) nonlinear mapping model of the wheel-rail system was established. The learning, prediction, and verification were carried out. Finally, the reliable probability of the amplification coefficient distribution of the response index of the train and structure in different ranges was obtained based on the SVR nonlinear mapping model and Latin hypercube sampling method. The limit of the length of the mortar filling layer void was, thus, obtained. The results show that the SVR nonlinear mapping model developed in this paper has a high fitting accuracy of 0.993, and the computational efficiency is significantly improved by 99.86%. It can be used to calculate the dynamic response of the wheel-rail system. The length of the mortar filling layer void significantly affects the wheel-rail vertical force, wheel weight load reduction ratio, rail vertical displacement, and track plate vertical displacement. The dynamic response of the track structure has a more significant effect on the limit value of the length of the mortar filling layer void than the dynamic response of the vehicle, and the rail vertical displacement is the most obvious. At 250 km/h - 350 km/h train running speed, the limit values of grade I, II, and III of the lengths of the mortar filling layer void are 3.932 m, 4.337 m, and 4.766 m, respectively. The results can provide some reference for the long-term service performance reliability of the ballastless track-bridge system of HRS.

개선된 노심출력분포 감시 프로그램 개발을 위한 수정형 Borresen 모형 (Modified Borresen's Coarse-Mesh Method for Improved Power Distribution Monitoring System Program Development for PWR)

  • 이 논문에서는 영광 3호기와 같이 노심내 핵계장 장치를 갖고 있는 가압형 원자력 발전소용 노심출력 분포 감시프로그램의 개발에 수정형 Borresen 모형의 응용 타당성을 검토해 보았다 이를 위해 수정형 Borresen 방정식의 소격모형해를 핵계장장치의 측정치를 경계조건으로 하여 풀었으며, 이로부터 영광 3호기 첫주기 노심의 3차원 출력분포를 계산하였다. 그 결과는 현재 영광 3호기의 축방향 출력분포 감시프로그램으로 활용되고 있는 COLSS 예측치와 비교하였으며, 이를 통하여 수정형 Borresen 모형으로 제안한 방법이 COLSS보다 축방향 출력분포를 실제에 더 가깝게 모사할 수 있음을 보였다. 노심 출력거동에 대한 예측능력이 있고 또한 전산속도면에서의 이점이 있어서 제안된 수정형 Borresen 방법이 노심출력분포 감시프로그램 개발에 유용하게 활용될 수 있다고 결론을 내렸다.

강성경사면에 인접한 역T형 옹벽에 작용하는 상재하중에 의한 연직토압분포 (Distribution of Vertical Earth Pressure due to Surcharge Loads Acting on Cantilever Retaining Wall Near Rigid Slope)

  • 본 논문은 급경사의 강성사면에 인접한 역 T형 옹벽에 작용하는 상재하중에 의한 연직 토압분포에 관한 실험적 수치해석적 연구결과이다. 강성사면의 조도, 사면과 옹벽 사이의 거리, 중력수준을 변화시킨 원심모형실험을 실시하고 옹벽 뒷채움재에 토압계를 매설하여 연직토압을 측정하였다. 상재하중에 의한 연직토압 분포에 관한 실험 결과를 기존의 두가지의 한계평형 해석이론 및 수치해석 결과와 각각 비교 분석하였다. 정성교(1993, 1997)에 의하여 제시된 보완 사이로이론과 흙쐐기이론을 사용한 한계 평형 해석법을 사용하였으며 그 이론을 확장하여 옹벽 배면 뒷채움재에 작용하는 상재하중에 의한 연직토압분포에 대한 특별해를 구하였다. 수치해석에서는 쌍곡선모델의 흙의 구성관계식이 적용된 FLAC 프로그램을 사용하였다. 수치해석에 의한 토압분포 산정 결과 원심모형실험 결과와 대부분의 경우에서 서로 일치하는 반면에 흙쐐기이론에서는 사면과 옹벽의 거리가 가까운 경우에 한하여 비교적 일치하는 경향을 보였다.

해상풍력발전기 지지구조물의 지진신뢰성해석 (Seismic Reliability Analysis of Offshore Wind Turbine Support Structure)

  • A seismic reliability analysis of the jacket-type support structure for an offshore wind turbine was performed. When defining the limit state function using the dynamic response of the support structure, numerous dynamic calculations should be performedin an approach like the FORM (first-order reliability method). This causes a substantial increase in the analysis cost. Therefore, in this paper, a new reliability analysis approach using the static response is used. The dynamic effect of the response is considered by introducing a new parameter called the peak response factor (PRF). The probability distribution of the PRF could be estimated using the peak value of the dynamic response. The probability distribution of the PRF was obtained for a set of ground motions. A numerical example is considered to compare the proposed approach with the conventional static-response-based approach.
