몬테카를로 전산해석에 의한 X선 실습실의 공간선량분포 평가 (Assessment of Spatial Dose Distribution in the Diagnostic Imaging Laboratory by Monte Carlo Simulation)

  • 본 연구에서는 몬테카를로 전산해석법으로 K대학교 진료영상 촬영 실습실의 방사선 조사실과 발생장치 제어실 내부 공간 유효선량률 분포 계산을 수행하였다. 방사선 발생장치는 최대 관전압 150 kVp에 최대 관 전류 700 mA이다. 전산해석 결과를 이용하여 차폐문이 닫힌 경우와 열린 경우의 진료영상 촬영 실습실의 공간선량 분포를 비교 평가하였다. 결과적으로, 차폐문이 열린 경우에도 방사선 발생장치 제어실의 유효선량률은 학생(수시출입자)의 연간 유효선량률 한도(6 mSv/y)를 초과하지 않는다는 것을 알 수 있었다. 하지만, 차폐문이 열려있을 때의 유효선량률이 차폐문이 닫힌 경우에 비해 납유리 앞에서는 약 16배, 차폐문 앞에서는 약 3,000배 더 높기 때문에 실습 중에 차폐문을 닫는 것이 불필요한 방사선 피폭을 크게 줄인다는 것을 알 수 있었다.

  • 한반도에 자생하는 상록활엽수의 종류에 따는 지리적 분포와 기후요소와의 관계를 분석하였다. 우리나라 의 61속 132종 상록활엽수 분포하는 지역의 수 수직적 고도 범위, 위도에 따라 7개의 그룹으로 분류되었다. 7개의 그룹은 다시 분포의 남한한계선을 갖는 한대성 상록활엽수와 북방한계선을 갖는 난대성 상롭활엽수로 나뉘었다. 한대성 상록활엽수와 난대성 상롭활엽수의 분포와 관련되는 기후요소늘 연평균기온(Ty). 1월 평균기온(T1). 1월 평균최저기온(Tmin1) 8월 평균기온(T8), 8월 평균최고기온(Tmax 8), 연교차(Tar) 등이며. 종류에 따라 분포에 영향을 미치는 기후요소는 달랐다. 난태성 상록활엽수의 분포에 중요한 것은 주로 1월 평균기온 -4$^{\circ}C$, 1월 평균최저기온 -9$^{\circ}C$이다. 한대성 상롭활엽수의 분포는 8월 평균기온 19$^{\circ}C$, 8월 평균최고기온 26$^{\circ}C$가 다른 기온조건보다 중요한것으로 판단된다..

  • The purpose of this study is to improve the performance of gasoline engine. Combustion-characteristics orignated from supplying cylinder with fuel-air mixture which was formed by the rise of oxygen-concentration in air with oxygen-enriching membrane have been investigated. The results showed that the poor-limit of oxygen-concentration was increased by shortening combustion-duration because the rise of oxygen-concentration in fuel-air mixture resulted in the promotion of combustion-velocity. Also, the generation of large output of power was expected from combustion in proportion as the amount of oxygen was increased.

  • Recently, development of flame control scheme has been hot issues in the combustion engineering. It has been held that flame shape can be controllable by pressure inside combustor. The influence of combustor atmospheric pressure on flame shape was investigated in the present study. The flame shape, flammable limit, flame temperature and nitric oxide emission were measured as functions of combustor atmospheric pressure and equivalence ratio. The reaction region became longer and wider with decreasing combustor atmospheric pressure by direct photography, hence reduction of blow off limit. This tendency was also observed in the mean flame temperature distribution. Nitric oxide emission decreased with decreasing combustor atmospheric pressure. Low NOx combustion is ascribed to wide-spread reaction region in the low atmospheric pressure condition. These results demonstrate that flame shape and nitric oxide emission can be controllable with combustor atmospheric pressure.

Homogenized limit analysis of masonry structures with random input properties: polynomial Response Surface approximation and Monte Carlo simulations

  • The uncertainty often observed in experimental strengths of masonry constituents makes critical the selection of the appropriate inputs in finite element analysis of complex masonry buildings, as well as requires modelling the building ultimate load as a random variable. On the other hand, the utilization of expensive Monte Carlo simulations to estimate collapse load probability distributions may become computationally impractical when a single analysis of a complex building requires hours of computer calculations. To reduce the computational cost of Monte Carlo simulations, direct computer calculations can be replaced with inexpensive Response Surface (RS) models. This work investigates the use of RS models in Monte Carlo analysis of complex masonry buildings with random input parameters. The accuracy of the estimated RS models, as well as the good estimations of the collapse load cumulative distributions obtained via polynomial RS models, show how the proposed approach could be a useful tool in problems of technical interest.

  • Bogie frame of the electric car is an important structural member for the support of vehicle loading. In general, more than 25 years' durability is necessary. Much study has been carried out for the prediction of the structural integrity of the bogie frame in experimental and theoretical domains. One of the useful methods is reliability-based approach. The objective of this paper is to estimate the structural integrity of the bogie frame of an electric car, which is under the running test. We used two approachs. In the first approach probabilistic distribution of S-N curve is used. In the second approach, limit state function is used.

70mph 제한속도를 갖는 고속도로 연결로 접속부상에서의 속도추정모형에 관한 연구 (Construction of Speed Predictive Models on Freeway Ramp Junctions with 70mph Speed Limit)

  • From the traffic analysis, and model constructions and verifications for speed prediction on the freeway ramp junctions with 70mph speed limit, the following results were obtained : ⅰ) The traffic flow distribution showed a big difference depending on the time periods. Especially, more traffic flows were concentrated on the freeway junctions in the morning peak period when compared with the afternoon peak period. ⅱ) The occupancy distribution was also shown to be varied by a big difference depending on the time periods. Especially, the occupancy in the morning peak period showed over 100% increase when compared with the 24hours average occupancy, and the occupancy in the afternoon peak period over 25% increase when compared with the same occupancy. ⅲ) The speed distribution was not shown to have a big difference depending on the time periods. Especially, the speed in the morning peak period showed 10mph decrease when compared with the 24hours'average speed, but the speed did not show a big difference in the afternoon peak period. ⅳ) The analyses of variance showed a high explanatory power between the speed predictive models(SPM) constructed and the variables used, especially the upstream speed. ⅴ) The analysis of correlation for verifying the speed predictive models(SPM) constructed on the ramp junctions were shown to have a high correlation between observed data and predicted data. Especially, the correlation coefficients showed over 0.95 excluding the unstable condition on the diverge section. ⅵ) Speed predictive models constructed were shown to have the better results than the HCM models, even if the speed limits on the freeway were different between the HCM models and speed predictive models constructed.

해외농업투자에 따른 유통체계 개선방안에 관한 연구 (A study on the improvement of distribution system by overseas agricultural investment)

  • 세계경제 및 환경의 변화에 따라 농산물의 불안정적인 수급으로 인한 문제점이 노출되고 있으며, 우리나라의 경우 농산물의 안정적인 확보를 위하여 국가 전략적 차원에서의 해외농업투자의 필요성이 요구되고 있다. 하지만 정부차원의 지원 미진, 해외 농업에 대한 정보 및 기술 미비, 개발자금 확보의 어려움, 장기간의 투자금 회수기간, 사후관리 미흡 등의 이유로 성과를 이루지 못하고 있는 실정이며, 특히 해외 농산물의 국내 반입 시 관세의 장벽, 물류 유통비용 등으로 가격 경쟁력이 떨어지고 있어 국내에 반입되지 못하고 있는 실정이다. 이에 본 연구에서는 우리나라의 해외농업투자의 기본개념 및 실태를 살펴보고 해외농업투자의 필요성과 고려사항, 문제점 등을 도출하여 해외에서 재배된 농산물의 경쟁력을 위한 유통 측면에서의 개선방안을 정부의 간접적인 지원, 유통 현대화 및 유통정보기능 강화, 유통시설, 수송루트, 하역업무개선, 경쟁력 확보를 위한 정부의 정책적 지원, 교육 훈련을 통한 전문인력 양성 등 다섯 가지 측면에서 제시하였다.

산업용 전력계통의 안정도 유지를 위한 과전류계전기의 시간지연 한계 (Time Delay Limit of Over Current Relay for Maintaining Stability in Industrial Power Systems)

  • The industrial power distribution system is a radial system and therefore usually protected with time delayed over current relays (OCR's). Proper time dial settings are provided at the OCR's. Meanwhile, the systems, where synchronous generator, or synchronous motors, or large induction motors are operating, can not be protected with only OCR's with time grading. This paper presents a technical limit and a suitable range of time delay in applying OCR's to clearing faults in the industrial power systems for maintaining stability. Dynamic simulations are made to show them employing a real power systems of a large petro-chemical complex.
