손자녀를 돌보는 조부모의 부담감과 사회적 지지 (The relationship between the burden and the social support of grandmothers caring their grandchildren)

  • The purposes of this research were to add to the developing knowledge base about the burden and social support of grandmothers involved with caring grandchildren, and to examine whether a significant relationship exists between their burden and social support perceived by the grandmothers. A convenience sample of 102 grandmothers was recruited from five collective apartment areas at a small city in Korea. The criteria of selection of sample were that the grandmothers were raising their grandchildren under the age of 36 months for 3 months or longer at own or gandchildren's home. The instruments used were a 15-item multidemensional burden scale and a 8-item social support scale. Both scales were self report, five point Likert type scales. The higher the score, the higher the degree of burden and social support. Data was collected by two prepared research assistants visiting subjects' home from December 10, 1998 to March 20, 1999. The collected data were analysed using mean, t-test, one-way ANOVA, and Pearson's correlation coefficient computed by SPSS software. The results were as follows. 1. In the age distribution of grandmothers, the over half of subjects(58.8%) were under 60 years old. The majority(69.6%) of subjects were married at time of data collection. 79(77.5%) of the sample reported that their perceived health status was good or over. 2. The burden of the grandmothers was not scored high, and the item means on burden scale were ranged from 2.26 to 4.19 out of 5. 'Short of private time'(4.19) had the highest score, followed by 'fatigue'(3.92), 'short of rest'(3.75), and 'short of contact with friends and neighbors'(3.62). The lowest item was 'family doesn't help me'(2.26), and followed by 'family doesn't understand me'(2.33), 'angry with family' (2.43), and 'angry while caring for grandchild'(2.60). 3. There were significant relationships between the burden and present health status(p<.01), childcaring confidence(p<.01), and motive of caring(p<.01). 4. The score of social support, was ranging from 3.61 to 4.01 out of 5. 5. The relationship between burden and social support was found to be correlated negatively. The relationship was statistically significant(γ= - .2833, p<.001). In conclusion, it was found that the burden was not high and burden of grandmothers caring grandchildren was correlated negatively to social support. Therefore, these results provide a basis for developing a nursing intervention to reduce the burden of grandmothers.

품패자산조성부분간적상호관계(品牌资产组成部分间的相互关系): 관우산품충류조절작용적탐색연구(关于产品种类调节作用的探索研究) (Relationships among Brand Equity Components: An Exploratory Study of the Moderating Role of Product Type)

  • 对于品牌资产的组成, 测量和管理的研究开始于David A.Aaker (1991) 和Kevin Lane Keller(1993). 最近, 很多的研究都集中于品牌资产的组成: 品牌意识, 质量预期, 产品形象和品牌忠诚度. 本文主要针对于这些成分间相互关系, 而且特别主意产品种类(实用或者享受)的调节作用. 基于以上所提及的关系所建立的模型可以参看图1. 本文的假设如下: 顾客的品牌意识对于顾客的忠诚度和品牌形象有积极的影响; 顾客的质量预期对于品牌忠诚度和品牌形象有积极的影响; 品牌形象对于品牌忠诚度有积极影响; 这些品牌资产成分间的关系可以被产品种类所调节. 具体说明就是, 对于实用性产品, 质量预期对于品牌忠诚度的作用会增强, 而对于享受产品品牌形象对于品牌忠诚度的作用会更强. 为了确定适用于本研究的产品, 58名首尔的大学生参加了前测. 结果是计算机被选择成为实用性产品, 而牛仔裤被选定成为享受产品. 每一种产品各选择了两个品牌: 三星和惠普以及李维斯和NIX. 在研究中, 首尔地区的237名大学生回答了问卷. 研究对象被划分为两组: 一组(121名)回答关于计算机的问卷, 其他的116名回答关于牛仔裤的问卷. 搜集的数据通过AMOS 7来验证可信度, 效度以及变量间的相互关系. 验证性因子分析证明本研究的模型是可以用来进一步研究的. 品牌资产成分间的相互关系也通过AMOS 7 来验证. 结果模型的结果展现在图2中. 质量预期对于品牌的形象有积极的影响, 但是品牌意识却没有. 但是品牌意识, 质量预期, 以及品牌形象都对品牌忠诚度有积极的影响. 并且, 这些关系受到产品种类的调节. 本文的研究结果可以增进我们对于品牌资产成分间相互关系的了解, 并且可以支撑对于品牌资产的测量. 本文也对于产品种类的作用进行了阐述. 在现实的营销管理中, 这些结果可以提供一些建议来有效保持品牌资产.

국내 및 외국 상표 청바지의 구매의도에 따른 평가기준에 대한 신념과 추구이미지 및 의복태도의 차이연구 (Consumer Intention to Purchase Domestic/Foreign Brand Jeans;Beliefs, Attitude, and Individual Characteristics.)

  • 성인 남자 복부위의 연령별 형태 변화를 승라이딩 게이지법에 의하여 측정하고자 하였으며, 피험자는 20대청년층 15명, 40대 중년층 11명, 60대 노년층 11명으로 하였다. 측정 부위는 후두융기점, 목뒷점, 목앞점, 어깨점을 지나는 목부위의 수평단면형태로 하였으며, 목부위의 측면형태, 각 수평단면의 둘레, 수평단면의 전후"{\cdot}"좌우길이에 대하여 연령별 특징을 파악하였다.실험결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 1.목뒤점에서 수평으로 인체의 전방을 향하여 그으진수평선에 대한 후두융기점의 위치로서 목의 측면 형태를 분석하였으며, 20대에서는 피험자 15명중 14명이 자세I과 자세II에 속하므로 경부 자세가 바른 체형을 보여 주었으며, 40대에서는 피험자 11명중 자세II에 속하는 피험자가 3명이었으며 나머지 8명은 경부자세가 앞으로 수그러진 체형인 자세III에 속하였다. 2. 후두융기점, 목뒷점,목앞점,어깨점을 지나는 각수평 단면도의 특징에 대하여 보면, 목뒷점 수평단면의 형태는 젊은층은 원형을, 중년층과 노년층으로 갈수록 타원형의 모양으로 변화는것을 볼 수 있었다. 또한, 후두융기점의 위치가 앞으로 수그러지면서 후두융기점을 지나는 수평단면도의 형태 역시 나이가 들수록 청년층에 비하여 뒷목 부위가 크게 되어지는 경향을 볼수 있었다. 목앞점을 지나는 수평단면은 나이가 들수록 청년층에 비하여 단면의 전후"{\cdot}"좌우길이가 커지는 경향을 볼 수있었으며 40대가 최대치를 나타내었다. 어깨점을 지나는 수평단면의 특징은 나이가 들수록 전후길이(두께)는 증가하고 좌우길이(너비)는 감소하는 경향을 보였다.이(너비)는 감소하는 경향을 보였다. 행해졌던 성인 대상의 기존의 연구 결과와 비교하면, 더운 환경에서는 아동의 직장온, 총발한량, 손과 발을 제외한 국소 발한량, 맥박은 성인보다 유의하게 높았으나 추운 환경에서의 사지말단 피부온과 혈압은 성인보다 낮았다. 그리고 아동의 주관적 감각의 판단 능력은 미발달 상태임을 확인하였다. 3) 9살 아동의 써멀 마네킹의 제작 및 응용; 써멀 마네킹을 제작.재현성 확인 후, 이를 이용하여 각 계절에 보편적으로 입는 단일 피복과 앙상블의 유효 열 저항치(이하 clo치)를 측정하였다. 단일 피복의 clo치는 속옷의 0.03c1o에서 코트의 0.69c1o까지 분포하였으며, 단일 피복의 clo치(Y)와 피복 면적(X$_1$,%), 중량(X$_2$,g), 두께(X$_3$,mm)사이에서 Y=0.0071X$_1$+0.0003X$_2$+0.0995X$_3$+0.1099(r=0.91)이 얻어져, 이 세 요인이 단일 피복의 clo치를 결정하는 주 요인이라는 점을 재확인했다. 앙상블의 clo치는 0.15c1o-1.2clo에 분포했고 앙상블의 clo치(Y)와 단일 피복의 clo치의 단순 가산치($\Sigma$X)와의 관계에서 관계식 Y=0.86($\Sigma$X)+0.01(r=0.99)을 얻었다. 본 연구를 종합하여 초등학생의 다양한 환경에 적합한 착용 의복의 clo치를 제안했다. 기온 1$0^{\circ}C$에는 1.14clo, 15$^{\circ}C$에는 0.91c1o,

산업재해 장애인의 사회적 지지에 관한 연구 (The Social Support of the Handicaped in Industrial Accident Compensation Insurance)

  • Rehabilitation has emerged in recent years as major topic for the handicaped in industrial accident compensation insurance(IACI). Specially social support helps the handicaped adjust themselves psychosocially to handicap. This study was conducted to examine different contents and perceived social support, and provide guidlines for specific and proper rehabilitation for the handicaped of IACI. This study is a descriptive study which were collected through two phases using structured questionnaire. In the first stage, surveys were performed via telephone interviews. In the second stage, surveys were performed via home-visit subjects in the first stage included the handicaped of IACI. Finally data were collected from 338 subjects and analyzes by SPSS/PC+10. The instruments of this study were the perceived social support scale which developed by Lee(1996). These scales in the form of 5-point Likert type, consists of 20 items, including 3 subscales of emotional support, informational support, instrumental support. The mean score of social support was 57.2, emotional support 21.0, informational support 21.2 and instrumental support 15.2. The mean of depression for psychosocial factors is 37.5. Threre were significant differences in total perceived social support; age, job status, handicaped degree in IACI, post-traumatic complication and use of instrument. Emotional support was significant differences; age, number of dependent family, job status, handicaped degree in IACI, use of instrument and depression. Informational support was significant differences; job status, posttraumatic complication, use of instrument and depression. Instrumental support was significant differences; sex, job status, handicaped degree in IACI, use of instrument, and depression. The current system of the Labor Welfare institute is not appropriate for solving health problems of the handicaped in IACI. Therefore, it is necessary to develop the plan which can provide the handicaped in IACI high-quality rehabilitation services, so that they must use those services in the community without being dependent on hospitals. This study proposes home visit nursing services as the way to provide various health services within community for the handicaped in IACI.

G4C 스마트 앱 서비스 특성이 사용의도에 미치는 영향: 한·중 비교 분석을 중심으로 (The Influence of Using Intention by G4C Smart Application Service Characteristics: Comparing Korea and China)

  • Purpose - Recently, the prevalence of high-speed mobile communication technology (4G) and mobile devices (smart phones, tablet PC, etc.) is leading innovative changes across all fields in society as well as business environments. Furthermore, a diversified mobile application service has spread rapidly through mobile devices such as smart phones and tablet PCs. Accordingly, the traditional E-government services paradigm has rapidly changed into mobile intelligence. To identify the influencing factors on the using intention of G4C smart app services, based on previous studies, the variables that influence using G4C smart app services are defined; these are user cognitive factors (perceived usefulness, perceived easiness), user characteristics factors (user innovativeness, self-efficiency, social influence), service quality factors (convenience, interactivity, accessibility), and system quality factors (instant connectivity, safety). Research design, data, and methodology - This is designed not only to collect data with a questionnaire survey (9/22/13~10/23/13) but also to test hypotheses with SEM by SPSS 21.0 and AMOS 21.0 in both Korea and China. All items are used with Likert 5 scales. A total of 643 questionnaires (Korea 318, China 325) are used. Results - The perceived usefulness and perceived easiness in user cognitive factors have positive influence on using intention. The user innovativeness, self-efficiency, and social factors in user characteristics factors have positive influences on using intention. The convenience, interactivity, and accessibility in service quality factors have positive influences on both reliability and using intention. Safety in system quality has positive influence on both reliability and using intention. Reliability has positive influence on using intention. The control variables (Korea and China) affect its control hypothesis. Strategies and implications are suggested to assist the public using the intention of smartphone's e-government services based on the results of the empirical analysis. The mobile application service can be considered a new emergence of the paradigm just like the government's on-line portal websites appeared in the past. Under this prevailing situation of mobile smart devices, to promote the success of e-government mobile APP services, accurate analysis and understanding of users should precede anything, to provide services to grasp and satisfy users' desire properly. Conclusions - This study proposes implications to help E-governmental officers and companies make strategies. First, this is expected to give some information on the understanding and knowledge regarding the process of G4C smart APP service based on the empirical study. Second, this helps to make future policies and ways about E-government G4C smart APP service. Third, it is proved that super speed mobile communication technology and devices including phones will be crucial to change the structure of E-government services in 2-3 years. Fourth, it is necessary to increase the trust and using intention of users. Fifth, considering what type of environment users are placed in, to present proper public information matching their inclination, is important. Finally, various ways of experiencing service to explore potential users and ceaseless public relations are required.

일 대학병원 간호사의 직업만족도와 그에 관련된 요인 조사연구 (A Descriptive Study on Job satisfaction and its Related Factors for Clinical Nurses in Goneral Hospital)

  • Herzberg and his associates concluded from their findings that job satisfaction consisted on two independent dimension ; the first dimension was related to job satisfaction, the second to job dissatisfaction. According to the Herzberg theory, the satisfiers are related to the nature of the work itself and the rewards that flow directly from the performance of that work. The dissatisfaction factors are associated with the individual's relation to the context or environment in which he works. The purpose of this study was to investigate selected factors which result in job satisfaction / dissatisfaction of nurses employed in general hospital. In a study of this nature, it is important that the population be as homogenous as possible in order to reduce the effects of the different environments and backgrounds on job satisfaction. A job satisfaction questionnaire developed by Slabitt et als. was used for this study. It contains 45 statements and utilizes a Likert type scale of 5. Participants were asked to select response which were congruent with their perceptions of the item. It was decided to conduct the study in one general hospital in Seoul. A sample of 505 clinical nurses were selected to participate in this study. The results of this study were as follows ; 1. The overall mean score for the 45 five-point scales of job satisfaction items was 2.945, showing that the subjects of this study were neither satisfied nor dissatisfied. 2. To identify the specific job related factors that result in Job satisfaction / dissatisfaction, the 45 items of job satisfaction were divided into 6 areas and the mean scores and % of agreement were compared. The specific job related factor that resulted in job satisfaction was the job status and those that resulted in job dissatisfaction were salaries, task requirements and organization requirements. But the areas of autonomy and interaction did not belong to either side of the specific job related factors. 3. To identify the relationship between the job satisfaction and the subject's general characteristic, data was analyzed using the t-test and the Pearson correlation coefficient. It was found that the relationship between the job satisfaction and the request for rotation and intention to remain on the job were statistically significant at .05 level, but the relationship between the job satisfaction and age, work experience, and educational background were nor statistically significant at the .05 level.

드레스 셔츠의 이미지 분석(分析) - 서울, 대전, 경기지역(大田, 京畿地域)을 중심(中心)으로 - (A Study on the Image Perception and Preference of the Dress Shirts - Focusing on the city of Seoul, Daejon, and KyungkiDo -)

  • The purpose of this study was to analyze the image perception of dress shirts according to perceiver's residency and shirts style, and to investigate the shirts preference according to style of dress shirts, and to find out the men's aesthetics consciousness for shirts, and to analyze between the image perception and the usage of mass-media, for developing the possibility & strategy of the dress shirts market in men's wear market for the apparel marketers and manufactures. For this study, the data obtained from 321 respondents were analyzed by descriptive statistics, Pearson's simple correlation, ANOVA. The results from the study were as follow ; The 6 stimuli for image perception rated on 5 point Likert-type scales in the 12 features were evaluated by perceivers. By the best 3 features abstracted, shirts style concepts were decided such as, Basic style by the best 3 features of the first stimulus, and Soft style by the best 3 features of the second stimulus, and Sophisticate style by the best 3 features of the third stimulus, and Modern casual style by the best 3 features of the fourth stimulus, and Modern mannish style by the best 3 features of the fifth stimulus, and Trendy style by the best 3 features of the sixth stimulus. The modern casual style was estimated highly by respondents in Daejon. The respondents in Seoul prfered the basic style to other style. There were significant differences in evaluating between preferences of shirts style and pattern. Of the 82 respondents(26.8%) with the preference of bold london stripe, the 52 respondents estimated Modern casual style in bold london stripe. The fashion consciousness of the respondents in Seoul was estimated higher than in Daejon. But, the respondents in Daejon in the consciousness for the coordination knit cardigan and V zone was estimated higher than in Seoul. Also, the 31 respondents with the preference of Sophisticate style were the highest in fashion consciousness. The respondents estimated that the first important thing in buying dress shirts is 'Design(41.4%). and next is quality(17.8%). Results revealed that Daks ranked best brand (13.7%), and Renoma ranked best two brand (6,5%). And, the 35.5% respondents estimated that the first important information which influenced on buying dress shirts was the store display, next was internet(15.9%). Finally, I propose that the best strategy for men with low fashion consciousness is to upgrade salesmen' coordination technic and fabric knowledge, and store management with story attracting customers.

남성적-여성적 의복이 직장여성의 직업특성과 직업적합성 지각에 미치는 영향(I) -Suit을 중심으로- (The Effect of Masculine-Feminine Clothing Image on the Perception of Occupational Characteristics and Occupational Suitability(I) -Suit-)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate(Ⅰ) the effect of a masculine-feminine image in women's suit on the perception of the wearer's occupational characteristics and suitability of the clothing for certain occupations, and (2) the effect of perceiver's sex, sex-role attitudes, and occupation on the perception formed by the function of clothing cues. The research design of the study consisted of 2(pink and navy blue colors) × 4(masculine and feminine forms) factorial design of a suit. The experimental materials developed for this study were a set of stiuli and 2 response scales. The stimuli consisted of 8 drawings of woman's clothing made by systematic manipulations of 2 independent variables(color and form) in drawings of suit. The dependent variables were the perceptions of the wearer's occupational characteristics and suitability of the masculine or feminine clothing for certain occupations. Occupational characteristics were measured with a 7-point semantic differential scale composed of 21 bipolar adjectives. Perception of ccupational suitability was assessed with 12 items of 5-point Likert type questions. In addition, the Bem Sex-role Inventory was used to assess perceiver's sex-role attitudes. The subjects consisted of 393 men and 389 women, whose occupations were classified as professionals, secondary school teachers, and white-collar workers. They were randomly assigned to one of 8 suit. The data were analyzed by factor analysis, MANOVA, ANOVA, Mean and S.D. Three factors emerged to account for the perception of occupational characteristics. These factors were given the titles of (1) activity, (2) potency, and (3) evaluation factors. The activity factor was the largest, including 9 adjectives. Differences in the form of the suit had effects on potency and evaluation for both sexes, while it also had some effect on activity for women. The color of the suit had some effect on evaluation for both sexes. Strong effects of color and form on the suit were seen in perception of occupational suitability for the occupations of attorney(masculine) and secretary(feminine). On suitability for secondary school teaching occupation, the effects of color and form of suit differed by sex of the subjects. Perceiver's sex-role attitudes and occupation paritally influenced the perception of the wearer's occupational characteristics and suitability of the clothing for certain occupations. In summary, a masculine-feminine image of clothing had a significant effect on the perception of occupational characteristics as well as on suitability of the clothing for certain occupations. Thus, the results of the study support the implicit personality theory on person perception and also the stereotypes of sex-roles on the perception of occupational suitability.

Strong effect of color and form on blouse·skirt were seen in perception of occupational suitability for the occupations of attorney(masculine) and secretary(feminine). On suitability for secondary school teaching occupations, the effects of color and form of blouse·skirt differed by sex of the subjects. Male subjects determined suitability by the color of the blouse, while female subjects determinied suitability on the basis of the form of the blouse. Perceiver's sex-role attitude and occupation partially influenced the perception of the wearer's occupational characteristics and suitability of the clothing for certain occupations.

NICU에 입원한 미숙아 어머니의 스트레스 (Study on the Perceived Stress Level of Mothers in Neonatal Intensive Care Unit)

  • With advances in neonatal medicine, smaller and sicker infants are surviving premature birth. As these tiny patients battle for their lives, their parents also struggle with psychological consequences of an unexpected role. The birth of a sick infants has long been documented as stressful events for the parents. High stress levels may alter parents' interaction with their baby and impair their communication with health professionals, which can in turn affect parents' participation in care planning and decision making. Nursing interventions aimed at reducing the parental stress and anxiety levels during this crisis may have a positive impact on their ability to form an attatchment to their baby and make prudent decisions about his care. The planning of such interventions would be inhanced if the contributions of various factors to increased parental stress levels were identified. This descriptive study was conducted to understand the contents and degree of parental stress in the NICU during their premature's hospitalization, and to give a baseline data in developing nursing intervention program. Subjects were the 60 mother of hospitalized newborn in NICU of 2 University Hospital in Taejon City from April 1st, 1999 to June 30th, 1999, who agreed to take part in this study. The instrument used in this study were Parental Stressor Scales:NICU(PSS:NICU) developed by Miles et al.. and validated by 3 NICU practitioners and 3 child health nursing faculties. The questionnaire has 4 dimensions and 45 items; sight and sounds of NICU(5 items), babies' appearance and behavior nursing intervention(19 items), parental role alteration and relationship with their baby(10 items), health team communication(11 items). The questionnaire asks parents to rate each item on a five-point Likert type scale that ranges from "not stressful" (1) to "extremely stressfu1"(5). Total scores representing overall stress from the NICU environment are calculated by summing response to each item. A high score indicates high stress. A subscale score is calculated by summing the responses to each item in the subscale. Cronbach's ${\alpha}$ coefficients were .93. The data was analyzed as average, Frequency, Standard deviation, t-test, ANOVA, Pearson correlation coefficient by use of SPSS/PC+. The results of this study is summarized as follows ; 1. The total perceived stress level score of mothers of premature baby was slightly high($3.66{\pm}1.1$). The highest scored dimension was 'relationship with their baby and parental role change'($4.21{\pm}0.9$), and next were 'appearance and behavior of the baby'($3.92{\pm}1.1$), 'communication with health team'($3.32{\pm}1.3$), 'sight and sounds of NICU'($3.30{\pm}1.1$). 2. There were statistically significant correlation noted ; mother's perceived severity of the baby's condition(F=8.0012, P= .0125) and baby's gestational age(r = -.4724, P = .0500). In summary, information about physical environment of NICU, the mother's perceived severity of premature baby's state, maternal role change related variables and the knowledge of characteristics of premature baby must be included in nursing intervention program of mother's of premature baby in reducing the parental stress and anxiety level. It is suggested that each NICU needs to develop a nurse managed supportive care program for parents of premature baby. Also, it is suggested that there need to investigate the coping mechanism of mother of premature baby.
