국가 연구개발 사업의 효율적 기획.관리를 위한 과학기술 표준분류 체계에 관한 연구 (A Study on S&T Classification for Effective Planning and Management of National R&D Programs)

  • The various technologies of the science and technology field were systematized to manage information, personnel and R&D activities related to S&T effectively. The resulting “National Standard Science and Technology Classification” which were composed of 19 areas, 160 divisions and 1,023 categories could contribute to establish rational S&T policy. “National Standard Science and Technology Classification” is synthetic in national level because they include all areas of S&T activities. 5 criteria, which were inclusiveness, exclusiveness, likeness, scale and universality, were used to exert every effort in including the opinion of all experts and to consider harmony between S&T areas. In addition, “National Standard Science and Technology Classification” was prepared to be interchangeable with various classification which were used in other R&D management institutes under the different ministries.

고소성점토 및 실트의 비선형 압밀특성 (Nonlinear Compression Characteristics of Highly Plastic Clays and Silts)

  • Highly plastic clays in their normally consolidated state are not linear but are concave upwards. Thus their compression index deceases with the increase in consolidation pressure. Likeness the e - log ${\sigma}\;_{\upsilon}\;'$ curves of the silts are not linear but are convex upwards. In this paper, conducted consolidation test with four undisturbed field soil and found that their e - log ${\sigma}\;_{\upsilon}\;'$ plots are not linear. And analyzed difference of settlement between computed value with compression index($C_c$) and computed value with improved compression index($\mathbb{C}$).

  • The rapid growth of blog has caused information overload where bloggers in the virtual community space are no longer able to effectively choose the blogs they are exposed to. Recommender systems have been widely advocated as a way of coping with the problem of information overload in e-business environment. Collaborative Filtering (CF) is the most successful recommendation method to date and used in many of the recommender systems. Therefore, we propose a CF-based recommender system for bloggers in the virtual community space. Our proposed methodology consists of three main phases: In the first phase, we apply the "Interest Value" to a recommender system. The Interest Value is a quantity value about user preference in virtual community, and can measure the opinion of users accurately. Next phase, we generate the neighborhood group based on the Interest Value. In the final phase, we use the Community Likeness Score (CLS) to generate the top-n recommendation list. The methodology is explained step by step with an illustrative example and is verified with real data of a blog service provider.

  • Digital watermarking technology is one of method of protecting property from the illegal reproduction of digital data. This technology inserts the specific data in a certain file to identify the property, that is an author and rights, not for human to be seen and heard. In this paper, the watermarking technology which inserts a RGB rotor watermark in a JPEG2000 color image using the visual characteristics of wavelet coefficient was proposed. After applying various attack at a watermarked image according to proposed technology, the likeness between the original image, the watermark and the extracted watermark was measured and investigated. As a result, the PSNR value of image was varied depending on perceptual parameter, but we can obtain 32㏈ as a whole.

올리고당의 첨가가 케\ulcorner揚\ulcorner 품질과 노화에 미치는 영향 (Effects of Fructo-Oligosaccharide and Isomalto-Oligosaccharide on Quality and Staling of Cake)

  • Fructo-oligosaccharide and isomalto-oligosaccharide were used to replace 10%, 20%, or 30% of the sucrose in cake. Replacement with either fructo-oligosaccharide or isomalto-oligosaccharide resulted in cakes with higher volume, browner crust, yellower crumb. Cakes baked with oligoaccharide were softer than 100% sucrose cake. During 9 days storage at 2$0^{\circ}C$, the hardness of both 10% fructooligosaccharide and 10% isomalto-oilgosaccharide cakes was higher than that of 20% and 30% oligosaccharide cake was higher than that of 10% fructo-oligosaccharide cake at the end of storage, there was no difference in hardness among 10%, 20% and 30% isomalto-oligosaccharide cakes. Cakes substituted with isomaltooligosaccharide for sucrose at the level of 20% and 30% or with fructo-oligosaccharide at the level of 30% were significantly moist compared to control. Replacement of sucrose with oligosaccharide, except with fructo-oligosaccharide at the level of 30%, did not affect significantly overall likeness of cakes.

In the present article, we study the differential subordinations of the forms $${\alpha}{\frac{z^2f^{{\prime}{\prime}}(z)}{f(z)}}+{\frac{zf^{\prime}(z)}{f(z)}}{\prec}{\alpha}{\frac{z^2g^{{\prime}{\prime}}(z)}{g(z)}}+{\frac{zg^{\prime}(z)}{g(z)}},\;z{\in}E,$$ and $${\frac{z^2f^{{\prime}{\prime}}(z)}{f(z)}}{\prec}{\frac{z^2g^{{\prime}{\prime}}(z)}{g(z)}},\;z{\in}E.$$ As consequences, we obtain a number of sufficient conditions for star likeness of analytic maps in the unit disc.   • "Behind a Mask" (1866) marks the new direction of Louisa May Alcott's artistic and personal life. Her European trip solidified her identity as a mature woman, most importantly as a mature American woman, one whose independence from Victorian stereotypes would, from now on, make her fortune and fame. Her sensational stories, especially "Behind a Mask," would tell truths that readers recognized but had rarely seen written. These truths would free them, and the author herself, to explore their talents as individuals. Henceforth, Alcott would embody the successful American artistic entrepreneur as one who shed the European domination of false titles and inherited wealth. These motifs of the transnational connection pervade the story, in the form of images and likenesses. Just as Alcott would soon, in two years, reach astonishing financial success with the publication of Little Women, her meteoric ascent parallels America's rise to power in the world's economy, which came about with almost alarming speed after the conclusion of the American Civil War.

Flavonoids as Novel Therapeutic Agents Against Chikungunya Virus Capsid Protein: A Molecular Docking Approach

  • Chikungunya fever has a high morbidity rate in humans and is caused by chikungunya virus. There are no treatments available until now for this particular viral disease. The present study was carried out by selecting 19 flavonoids, which are available naturally in fruits, vegetables, tea, red wine and medicinal plants. The molecular docking of selected 19 flavonoids was carried out against the Chikungunya virus capsid protein using the Autodock4.2 software. Binding affinity analysis based on the Intermolecular interactions such as Hydrogen bonding and hydrophobic interactions and drug-likeness properties for all the 19 flavonoids have been carried out and it is found that the top four molecules are Chrysin, Fisetin, Naringenin and Biochanin A as they fit to the chikungunya protein and have binding energy of -8.09, -8.01, -7.6, and 7.3 kcal/mol respectively. This result opens up the possibility of applying these compounds in the inhibition of chikungunya viral protein.

Analyzing the Effects of Anthropomorphism in NPCs Applied by GPT on User Satisfaction and Loyalty

  • This research studies NPCs applied by Generative Pre-trained Transformer (GPT) Technology. This study set three independent variables as characteristics of the NPCs applied GPT. User immersion is set as a mediator variable, while user game satisfaction and loyalty are chosen as dependent variables. The Stimulus-Organism-Response (SOR) theory is employed to study user attitude changes, and immersion is examined through the Flow Theory. The study found that interactions between NPCs and users directly and indirectly influence user satisfaction and loyalty. This suggests that NPCs capable of providing users with desired information, rather than merely following predetermined protocols, can enhance the user's affinity for the game. Furthermore, the intelligence and human-likeness of NPCs were found to indirectly influence satisfaction and loyalty through immersion. These findings underscore the importance of GPT-applied NPCs in the gaming industry, with potential implications for the future development and enhancement of such NPCs within games.

Physico-chemical Meat Qualities of Loin and Top Round Beef from Holstein Calves with Different Slaughtering Ages

  • The objective of this study was to investigate the physico-chemical and sensory properties of loin (m. longissimus dorsi) and top round (m. semimembranosus) beef from 3-, 6-, 9-, and 12 mon-old Holstein calves. For both loin and top round muscles, the moisture contents were decreased, whereas the protein and fat contents were increased, as the slaughtering age increased. In terms of meat color, for both muscle types, CIE $L^*$ values were decreased, whereas CIE $a^*$ values and myoglobin content increased as the slaughtering age increased. pH values were significantly higher in the 3 mon-old group than in the other groups. The Warner-Bratzler shear force (WBSF) values were lowest for loin muscles from the 12 mon-old group; however, there was no significant difference for top round muscle among the 4 age groups. Cooking loss for both loin and top round muscles were significantly higher for the 3 mon-old group than for the other groups. The water holding capacity (WHC) of both muscles were highest for the 12 mon-old groups (p<0.05). In fatty acid composition of the 12 mon-old groups, loin muscles had significantly higher levels of C14:0, C16:1n7, C18:1n9, and mono-unsaturated fatty acids (MUFA), and top round muscles had significantly higher levels of C16:1n7, C18:1n7, C18:1n9, MUFA, MUFA/SFA. Loin muscle from the 3- and 12 mon-old groups had significantly higher scores for tenderness and overall likeness. Top round muscle from the 9- and 12 mon-old groups had significantly higher scores for overall likeness than those from the other age groups.
