사회적 안전을 강화하기 위하여 범죄예방을 위한 Web DB의 구축을 하고 이를 시민들에게 개방하여 범죄로 부터의 위험성을 경감할 수 있다. 본 연구의 궁극적 목적은 지역사회의 생활안전 웹 데이터베이스 구축을 위한 사용자 요구를 조사하는 것이다. 이를 위해서 31개의 외국 생활안전 웹 데이터베이스를 분석하였으며 사용자 참여 스타일의 웹 서비스를 검토하였다. 그리고 어린이와 여성과 같은 범죄취약계층을 중심으로 설문조사를 실시하였다. 그 결과로 일상적인 생활 및 통학, 통근 경로의 위험지역을 추출하였다. 지역사회의 생활안전 웹데이터베이스를 만드는 과정에 있어서 사용자의 요구는 경제적 상황 및 공공성 관계되는 것으로 분석되었다.

The purpose of this study was to develop and evaluate the educational program of life safety for low grade elementary school students. The objectives of the life safety education were established, and the contents and instructions of the educational program were organized according to the needs of the 560 children and their mothers. Both experimental and control groups were evaluated before, immediately after and 3 weeks after the education in terms of knowledge about safety, attitudes and behaviors. The results of this study were as follows: 1. Twelve contents for safety education consisted of safety for electronic games, playing facility, mobile exercise machines, elevator/escalators, traffic and prevention for injury, pricking/cutting, collision/fall/slippery, drowning, burning, electric shock, food toxicity and child missing/sexual harassment/kidnapping. 2. The score of knowledge for safety, attitude, and behavior of the experimental group was improved after the post-tests. Thus, the educational effects were demonstrated to be significant in all evaluation sections.

In spite of frequent defect in industrial boilers, life assessment or diagnostic method for them has not been actively studied. In this research, SS400 carbon steel used in industrial boilers is simulated with artificial aging heat treatment. To do qualitative life assessment, differences in micro-structures and hardness of SS400 by the degradation time are studied. In addition, variation in material properties by aging was observed with the tensile test at room temperature and $179^{\circ}C$ and changes in ductile to brittle transition temperature was observed with the charpy impact test performed at several test temperature.

본 연구는 초음파 센서를 이용해 사물을 측정하고 이의 오차를 줄이기 위해 칼만필터 알고리즘을 이용하였다.[1][2] 이는 안전 헬멧의 이용자들이 전방의 장애물을 사전인지 하는데 있어 활용하고자 하였다. 최근 안전사고가 증가하면서 전방 또는 후방의 장애물로 인한 사고가 급증하고 있는 추세이다. 헬멧에 원거리 측정 센서를 장착해 전, 측, 후방을 사전에 감지하고 이를 사용자에게 알려 사고를 예방하고자 하였다.

시민생활의 안전을 위협하는 자연재난, 사회재난, 사이버재난 등에 대해 재난정보를 수집, 저장 및 지능적인 분석을 통해 사전에 대응책을 제시하는 만족할 만한 수준의 능동적인 생활안전 플랫폼이 부재하였다. 본 연구에서는 시민생활의 안전을 능동적으로 서비스하는 생활안전 플랫폼 설계를 통해 과학기술의 발전에 따른 삶의 질 향상에 기여하고자 한다.

이 연구는 국내에 거주하는 유학생들의 한국어 수준이 안전의식에 미치는 영향 간에 인과관계를 밝히는 데 그 목적이 있다. 한국어 표현과 이해능력이 안전의식에 미치는 영향에 대해서 분석할 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 한국어 표현능력은 생활안전의식에 정(+)의 영향을 미치나 유의미한 영향을 미치지 않는 것으로 나타났으며, 이해능력은 생활안전의식에 부(-)의 영향을 미치나 유의미한 영향을 미치지 않는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 한국어 표현능력은 소방안전의식에 유의미한 영향을 미치고, 정(+)의 영향 관계가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 마지막으로, 한국어 표현능력은 재난안전의식에 유의미한 영향을 미치고, 정(+)의 영향 관계가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 유학생들이 한국에 체류하여 생활하면서 한국 생활에 맞는 안전의식을 준수하도록 강화할 필요가 있으며, 한국어 교육 시 생활 한국어뿐만 아니라 안전과 관련된 주제로 한 한국어 이해 교육도 반드시 강화되어야 할 것이다.

LysR-type transcriptional regulators (LTTRs) contain an N-terminal DNA binding domain (DBD) and a C-terminal regulatory domain (RD). Typically, LTTRs function as homotetramers. VV2_1132 was identified in Vibrio vulnificus as an LTTR that is a homologue of HypT (also known as YjiE or QseD) in Escherichia coli. In this study, we determined the crystal structure of full-length VV2_1132 at a resolution of $2.2{\AA}$, thereby revealing a novel combination of the domains in the tetrameric assembly. Only one DBD dimer in the tetramer can bind to DNA, because the DNA binding motifs of the other DBD dimer are completely buried in the tetrameric assembly. Structural and functional analyses of VV2_1132 suggest that it might not perform the same role as E. coli HypT, indicating that further study is required to elucidate the function of this gene in V. vulnificus. The unique structure of VV2_1132 extends our knowledge of LTTR function and mechanisms of action.

연구목적: 생활안전 예방서비스 앱에서 신고되는 이미지를 AI를 사용하여 실시간으로 위험 카테고리를 자동으로 분류하여 사용자에게 편리한 위험신고를 가능하게 하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 연구방법: 인터넷으로 상호연결되는 생활안전 예방서비스 플랫폼, 생활안전 예방서비스 앱, AI 모델 서빙 서버와 sftp 서버로 구성되는 시스템을 통하여 신고된 생활안전 이미지를 실시간으로 자동분류하며, 이때 사용되는 AI모델 생성을 위한 AI 학습 알고리즘도 개발하였다. 연구결과: 이미지를 실시간으로 AI 처리하여 자동으로 분류할 수 있게 되어, 신고자가 생활안전 관련 사항을 보다 편리하게 신고할 수 있게 되었다. 결론: 본 논문에서 제시하는 AI 이미지 자동분류 시스템은 90% 이상의 분류 정확도로 신고 이미지를 실시간으로 자동분류하여 신고자가 간편하게 생활안전 관련 이미지를 신고할 수 있게 되었으며 향후 생활안전 예방서비스 앱의 사용자의 증가에 따라 더욱 빠르고 정확한 AI 모델 개발 및 시스템 처리용량 향상이 필요하다.

Asian Branches of International Life Science Institute (ILSI), i.e. China, India, Japan, Korea and South East Asian Region, identified five key public health issue priorities of each region and compared the results. In case of China, India and South East Asian countries (Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, Thailand etc. ASEAN countries), communicable diseases were the first priority issue, while elderly issue and food safety were prime issues for Japan and Korea, respectively. Malnutrition was the second priority issue for India and ASEAN countries, whereas non-communicable disease like cancer and degenerative diseases was for Korea and China, and obesity far Japan. Typical issues were smoking for China, nutrition education for China and Japan, biotechnology aiming GMO for India, and functional food causing health claim problem for Korea and Japan. Although the priority varied with the socioeconomic situation of each county, food and water safety recorded the highest priority of all the countries. The key public health issues of Korea were discussed in detail.
