본 연구는 국회도서관 서비스의 경제적 이용가치를 측정하고 평가함으로써 국회도서관이 제공하는 서비스에 대한 경제적 타당성을 확보하고 이용자의 인식을 제고하여 국회도서관 이해관계자들의 지지를 확인하는 것을 목적으로 하였다. 이를 위해 국회도서관 이용자를 국회의 내부 이용자와 외부 이용자, 협정기관 이용자로 구분하였고, 가치측정을 위한 방법으로 시간가치 및 대체서비스가치, WTP 가치측정 방법을 적용하였다. 이용자들이 국회도서관이 없어 다른 대체서비스를 이용할 경우 연간 추가로 더 필요한 시간의 가치는 내부 이용자가 1,948.2백만 원, 외부 이용자가 417,057.5백만 원으로 이는 국회도서관 1년 예산 대비 약 10배에 해당하는 금액이다. WTP로 측정된 총 가치를 이용자별로 보면 내부 이용자의 총 가치는 8,528.3백만 원이고 외부 이용자의 총 가치는 33,272.4백만원, 협정기관 이용자의 총 가치는 924백만 원으로 산출되었다. 이용자별 WTP 가치는 내부 이용자에 비해 외부 이용자가 전체 가치의 77%를 차지해 외부 이용자 가치가 큰 비중을 차지하였다. 국회도서관 2015년 예산 대비 BC ratio는 1:1.04로 나타났다.

With the rapid development of computer technology and ongoing destruction of traditional buildings, more and more attention is paid to digital methods for the design and preservation of traditional buildings. Unlike 2D methods, Building Information Modeling (BIM) provides an object-oriented and parametric digital representation way for traditional building components. However, one of the main limitations currently is that parametric information cannot be exchanged between BIM software packages. Therefore each kind of software must have their own parametric library which causes extensive works. In this research, the authors developed an open BIM-based library using an XML parametric approach to solve the above problems, represented traditional components according to an XML schema, and parametrically implemented these XML files in a browser which can be accessed by users for their easy component edit and selection. And then based on the XML file of one component, implemented an Add-on in ArchiCAD for users to parametrically edit and directly utilize. Thus based on these XML files, a browser for users' view and selection purpose and an add-on for users' application purpose were developed. Future research will focus on implementing these XML files in other BIM tools like Revit and Digital Project. If the whole library was to be completed based on this XML approach, an open BIM-based library would be established that all kinds of BIM software users could apply this parametric library for easy modeling of traditional houses.

The purpose of this study is to verify the hypothesis that the contents and range of library services are changed as the use of videotex systems increases. 1000 members of Chollian II were chosen as subjects for this study and the questionnaire was posted to them. The returned responses to questionnaire were analyzed with the statistical software packages 'SAS PC' and 'STATGRAPHICS'. The findings and conclusions of this study are summarised as follows: 1. Users of Chollian II make more use of videotex systems in seeking daily information than in seeking scholarly and professional information. It seems desirable to co-ordinate the services of videotex systems and libraries by redefining the traditional boundary of the two systems. Users will then conveniently get daily information through videotex servics, scholarly and professional information through the reference service of libraries. 2. Sex does not make any significant difference in the use of videotex systems. Most frequent use of videotex systems is made by those at the age of thirties. Businessmen and enterprisers make the most frequent use of videotex systems. Those of higher education are the best users. 3. As the use of videotex systems increases, use of newspapers and periodicals decreases while its increase rarely has influence on the use of library materials. 4. There is limited correlation between the use of videotex systems and that of library services. The increase of the use of videotex systems does not significantly increase or decrease the use of libraries. It changes, however, the pattern and methods of information services provided by libraries. 5. Users of special libraries make the most frequent use of videotex systems and there is not much difference in the use by users of other kinds of libraries.

Researching behavior of users in public library is very important processing and their activities can be judged with the regard of required inner spaces and related those functions. The subject of this study is to examine the organization of inner spaces in public library and to propose the prototype of space composition in public library on the future. Not only the relation of space program of each library but also the network among public libraries are not connected efficiently. That's why the public library is not used as local cultural place. Usually, the organization of inner spaces has not been recognized and approached satisfactorily. As the result of the above researching, the function of the culture facilities should be connected to the open study-room which now using just for study. It will make users to recognize and approach public library easily.

현대 마케팅의 특징은 소비자지향성에 있다. 일반기업이 소비자만족을 목표로 모든 경영활동을 통합하듯이 도서관경영에서도 이용자만족을 목표로 모든 도서관업무를 계획하고 조직하고 지휘하고 통제하는 경영마인드가 필요하다. 본 논문에서는 마케팅지향적 경영철학의 실행을 위하여 소비자의사결정과정모델을 이용하여 도서관 이용자의 행동을 깊이 있게 이해하고 그 결과를 도서관 마케팅전략 수립에 활용하는 방안을 연구하였다.

학위논문은 중요한 학술자원이나, 출판 및 유통되지 않는 특성으로 인해 검색, 접근, 입수, 활용 면에서 어려움이 있다. 이 연구는 5개 기관 및 6개 서비스에서 제공하는 학위논문의 이용현황을 분석하여 전반적인 학위논문 제공서비스의 개선방안을 제시하는 데 그 목적이 있다. 이를 위해서 학위논문을 실제로 이용한 경험이 있는 이용자를 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였다. 6개의 학위논문 제공서비스 중에서 국회도서관과 RISS 서비스가 높은 인지도와 사용률을 나타냈으며, 이용자들은 제목과 저자 이외에도 키워드, 원문제공 여부, 학과, 초록, 목차 등의 정보원을 중요한 검색항목으로 사용했다. 이용자들이 가장 중요하게 여기는 것은 학위논문의 원문제공 여부이며, 원문을 제공하지 않을 경우에는 제공처에 대한 링크 또는 안내를 필요로 하였다. 따라서 학위논문 이용 활성화를 위해서는 제공서비스의 홍보와 다양한 서지정보가 필요하며, 무엇보다도 중요한 것은 학위논문의 원문을 제공하는 것이다.

도서관목록에 있어 '이용자'의 중요성은 아무리 강조하여도 지나침이 없다. 그러나 도서관목록에 대한 요구와 기대가 이용자 집단별로 얼마나 어떻게 다른지에 대해서는 제대로 검증된 바가 없다. 이 연구는 도서관목록에 대한 이용자 집단별 차이를 이해하고, 나아가 그러한 차이에 근거한 실행 방안을 마련하는데 필요한 기초 자료를 확보하고자 하는 목적에서 이루어졌다. 구체적으로, 이 연구에서는 이용자 집단을 초등학생, 중 고등학생, 대학생, 일반인 등 네 집단으로 나누고, 이들의 도서관목록 탐색행태에 대해 조사한 다음, 각 집단에서 발견되는 보편적 속성과 집단별 차이를 규명하고자 하였다. 연구에 필요한 데이터는 544명을 대상으로 한 설문조사를 통해 수집하였으며, 수집된 데이터는 빈도분석과 교차분석을 이용하여 분석하였다. 목록과 관련한 행태적 특징을 10개의 지표로 나누어 분석한 결과, 이용자 집단 간에 통계적으로 의미 있는 차이가 확인되었다. 연구의 결론에서는 후속연구를 통해 이용자 집단별로 보다 심층적인 조사와 분석이 필요함을 제언하였다.

본 연구에서는 학술정보서비스 이용자들의 라이브러리 2.0에 대한 인식 및 요구사항을 설문을 통해 조사하였다. 이를 위해 학술정보서비스 이용자를 대상으로 웹 설문조사를 실시하였다. 라이브러리 2.0과 관련하여 웹2.0 기술 및 서비스에 대한 인식과 이용경험을 파악하고, 라이브러리 2.0 개념을 적용한 정보 서비스에 대한 요구사항을 조사하였다. 연구 결과 이용자들은 일반적으로 논의되는 웹2.0 기술을 적용한 라이브러리 2.0 서비스보다, 관심분야의 최신 정보 수신, 정보전문가에 의한 콘텐츠 및 서비스, 구글 스칼라와 같은 논문 인용정보 제공 등 전문적인 서비스를 필요로 하는 것으로 나타났다.

본 연구에서는 도서관장애인서비스 활성화 방안 및 홍보전략 개발의 기초가 될 수 있는 이용자인식조사 연구를 수행하고자 하며, 이를 통해서 이용자에게 가장 적절한 홍보방안을 도출하는데 기여하고자 설문조사 연구를 수행하였다. 연구결과 첫째, 국내 장애인이용자의 도서관서비스에 대한 홍보경험은 32.4%로 매우 낮게 나타났으며, 특히 지적장애인의 경우 전원이 홍보경험이 없는 것으로 조사되었다. 둘째, 도서관 홍보매체 경험으로는 인터넷, 도서관게시판, 현수막, ARS 서비스, 인터넷 방송 순으로 나타났으나, 홍보물에 대한 만족도는 평균 이하(3점 이하)로 나타났다. 반면에 홍보물에 대한 관심도는 매우 높게 나타났다. 셋째, 장애인이용자가 가장 많이 이용하는 도서관홈페이지는 학교도서관, 국립중앙도서관, 공공도서관 순으로 나타났으나, 서비스 이용률은 매우 낮게 나타났고, 경험한 자의 만족도도 매우 낮은 것으로 분석되었다. 넷째, 도서관 이용에 있어 장애인이용자가 가장 필요로 하는 것은 장애를 극복할 수 있는 편의시설의 확보 및 제공임을 알 수 있다. 이에 본 연구는 장애인을 위해 도서관에 도달하는 것의 편의성, 도서관에 도착해서 이용하는 시설의 편의성, 자료의 이용 용이성 등을 개선할 것을 제안한다.

공공도서관은 방문하는 이용자들의 배경이 다양하고 도서관을 찾는 목적 또한 다양하기 때문에 모든 이용자의 요구를 충분히 만족시키기에 어려움을 겪고 있다. 이를 극복하기 위한 노력으로 공공도서관 자료의 만족 수준을 높일 수 있는 장서개발 연구가 필요하다. 따라서 본 연구는 공공도서관의 장서개발을 위해 서울특별시 소재 구립 공공도서관 10개관 이용자들을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하여 이용자의 장서이용행태를 파악하고, 이를 바탕으로 서울시 구립 공공도서관을 위한 장서개발의 방향을 제시하였다.
