The purpose of this study is to provide an actual basic data and helps for arranging the next generation OPAC's interface and function through improving the existing OPAC's interface and improvement in the domestic library. In this study, factors to be importantly considered for improving the OPAC's interface and function were examined based on the preceding studies on OPAC concept & development process, user's library use style, user use style of OPAC, and recognition on library's crisis, and actual condition investigation result. Also, the case analysis on the existing OPAC's interface and function was focused on the search window, search item, search method, alignment function, search result display and search result feedback. Also, the search interface and search function of the next generation OPAC which is provided by the recently-developed domestic and foreign library utilization, and the detailed case were analyzed in the aspect of Library 2.0 service. Finally, the measures for improving the existing OPAC's interface and function in domestic library were suggested.

This is a critical study on the information-offer-function of Korean public library among its several functions. This is not only reviewed about idealogical logical background of formulation of public library in Korea, but also reviewed about changing process o the goal of public library till the development of actual concept of modern public library. This study suggested a proper definition about actual goal of public library in Korea at present. Technocrats say the public library in the future should be both bookless and paperless library. That may mean over-interpretation on information-offer-function of public library among its several functions. When we meet information super highway era, we must not confront information dependence to advanced information countries. Thus, I suggest a way to solve the establishment of information sovereignty through public library in order to avoid the information dependence to advanced information countries.

The purpose of this study is, According to society changing fast, human life is changing in the direction of complexity and variety, the middle class and multiple structure have been generated in relation between architecture and function. Accordingly, considering the analyzed elements of the main floor space planning and relation of the factors in space planning of Seoul s public libraries. The Public Library is variety of function is abstracted to the plan for Space Composition Form from future public library, analysis of “This point of user, how to composition is the space of different function” and “How to is the connection between the educational function and the other function, complexity of space.” With above distinctive themes and the research, the typology of public library in seoul city, At the first, the research shows that the public library is 8 type, and high in typology of “TYPE 7 (A3-B2-Cl)”. Secondary, There appears public library, such as in the satisfaction of the One-Function-User is high in “TYPE 3 (A1-B2-C3)”, in the satisfaction over the Two-Function-User is high in “TYPE 6 (A3-B1-C1)”

The purpose of this study is to understand the required concept in the architectural competition for public library and its application in design process. The research is based on the 27 design guideline of architectural competition for public library from 2009 to 2013 and, as a case study, the project for the Chungcheongnam-do Provincial Library, the prize winner in 2014. Three required concepts; symbolism, function, and sustainability, are categorized through the analysis on the design guideline of 27 competitions and are identified. Symbolism is expressed by landmark forms based on the local characteristics. The function of public library means to provide services to everyone, regardless of age, race, gender, religion etc., as a local community. Sustainability is related to passive architecture for the maintenance and management of buildings. These three concepts for public library applied on the design process of Chungcheongnam-do Provincial Library and design elements in each process are categorized in three concepts. The results shows not only how closely the locality and a user are related, but also the changes in the appearance of a public library as time passed.

This Paper presents the experiences of the static and dynamic library function connection technique for the embedded virtual machines, base on the native function connection methods of the virtual machines such as KVM, Waba VM. The emergence of digital library has been recognized as the paradigm shift of medium from paper to electronic, or that of the library function from ownership to access. From the point of view that digital information is the core constituent of digital library and is produced by electronic publishing, this paper explores the relationship between electronic publishing and digital library with special attention on recent digital library projects. And investigates the possibility of the transformation of scholarly communication system through digital library function as well as the impact of electronic publishing on the library functions.

This study is to recognize the function of the regional central library's role and to address its support to the community public libraries ; such is one of the focuses of the revised library law. Public library is established on impartial accessibility of any distinction as their sex, age, financial status, etc. The function of public library is not only to accumulate materials and offer information but also minimize gulf between the rich and the poor by knowledge possession, which is realized by important means to intercept exclusive possession and power in knowledge pose-industrial society. As it is judged that most public library is established to individual building with thousands of cost, it is judged of obstacles to Increase library buildings. The purpose of this study is try to find the way to Increase In number of public library In Seoul by interaction local education-cultural facilities. The result from this study, the user rate of public library is influenced by number of buildings and accessibility of traffic and public library can improve efficiency by substantial operation by basic function for all age group. The target population of Seoul public library sizes by decuple of advanced countries because of difficulty of accessibility, so it needs to make it small scale and also can offer self-regulation learning, materials and life-long learning programs because generally public library's utilization purpose is different by age. As school in Seoul amounts to 25 times of public library by about 1,200 buildings and can function of lifelong education center with a school library, cultural center and other composition buildings, so school facilities may use as a public library for local residents.

This study is to analyze the remodeling method of library in terms of space extension method and urban regeneration by repurposing function in unused facilities through case study. In many case of library extension, horizontal extensions are more frequent than vertical extensions, because there are limits to extend vertically due to high live load estimation by book stacks. Extension schemes was organized by new building extension method in connection with existing buildings, attaching method small scaled mass or linear mass to existing building, connecting method a plurality of existing small buildings, vertical extension method on the top of the structure, underground extension method using special structure. Unused facility remodeling to the library, large scaled buildings can be developed completely to the function of the library through the relocation of the space, while small scaled building needs spatial extension. In the case of spatial extension, existing space that was used for other purposes can be used as a reading room or office, avoiding high live load estimation.

Fuzzing is used to find vulnerabilities for a library. Because library fuzzing only tests the implemented functions, in order to achieve higher code coverage, additional functions that are not implemented should be implemented. However, if a function is added without regard to the calling relationship of the functions in the library, a problem may arise that the function that has already been tested is added. We propose a novel method to improve the code coverage of library fuzzing. First, we analyze the function call graph of the library to efficiently add the functions for library fuzzing, and additionally implement a library function that has not been implemented. Then, we apply a hybrid fuzzing to explore for branches with complex constraints. As a result of our experiment, we observe that the proposed method is effective in terms of increasing code coverage on OpenSSL, mbedTLS, and Crypto++.
