한국과 미국에서 발행된 집단수준 중심의 조직행동론 교과서에 대한 사례연구 (A case study on group level based-organizational behavior textbooks published in Korea and USA)

  • I have done a case study on group level based-organizational behavior textbooks published in Korea and USA. The objects are 'organizational behavior' by Su Yong Jung and 'organizational behavior' by Im Chang Hee in Korea, and 'organizational behavior' by Schermerhorn, Osborn, Uhl-Bien, & Hunt and 'organizational behavior' by Robbins, & Judge. The goal of this study is to identify the differences of the perspectives on the group level based-organizational behavior between Korean and American textbooks. This research finding shows that it is valid to classify organizational behavior into such categories as group & team, communication, decision making, leadership, power, and conflict & negotiation in the Korean textbooks for the better future study.

병원직원의 갈등과 환자에 대한 태도 (Hospital Employees' Conflict and Attitude Toward Patients)

  • This study was carried out to find out the effect of conflict between profession groups within medical institution. For the purpose, the questionnaire-based research was done with 605 persons consisting of specialists, residents, nurses, radiologic technicians, clinicopatholigic technicians, health record administrator, administrative employees who are working in a university hospital located in Taegu City from February 15, 1997 to March 2, 1997. The results of the study were summarized as follows. The subject profession group against which each profession group feels the most conflict in interprofession mutual recognition relation was found out as follows; Specialists(34%) against colleague specialists, residents(54.0%) against nurses, nurses(54.8%) against residents, radiologic technicians(44.0%) against residents, and clinicopathologic technicians(34.5%) against nurses, while it was shown that health record administrator felt even conflict against residents, nurses and administrative employees and administrative employees(48.1) did against nurses. Most employee group answered that medical specialists have a one-sided and individual attitude toward all affairs, while both medical specialists and administrative employees of hospital answered that nurses are one-sided. It was shown among such groups that radiologic technicians' conflict results from their thinking which mutual dependence and cooperation are lowest while individual difference is highest, clinicopatholigic technicians' conflict from the problem in mutual communication, medical specialists' conflict from difference in goals greater than other group, respectively lower than other group. The rate of vertical conflict between groups was highest for the health record administrators and then for the radiological technicians, while it was lowest for the medical specialists and then for the nurses. In addition, the rate of horizontal conflict was high for both medical specialists and nurses, but it was low for the health record administrations and clinicopathological technicians. The group with the highest job satisfaction was the medical specialists and nurses, and the group with the highest involvement in organization was the medical specialists and administrative employees. Also it was shown that both medical specialists and clinicopathological technicians show a favorable attitude toward patients. Factors having an effect on the vertical conflict included difference in goals, cooperation within group and leadership. It was shown among those factors, however, that only the leadership has an effect on all the groups evenly. The horizontal conflict was influenced by such factors as educational level, mutual dependence, difference in goals, cooperation within group, and individual difference, when an important factor was the difference in goals for all the groups. Their attitude toward patients was influenced by the vertical conflict and age, but the vertical conflict was the most significant factor for the medical specialists. In conclusion, it is required to control properly the conflict between employees as well as between profession group and to execute good leadership, so as to improve patients' satisfaction which is the key goal of hospital.

교대 여부에 따른 기혼간호사의 역할갈등과 직무만족도 (A Comparative Analysis on the Married Nurses' Role Conflict and Job Satisfaction in Accordance with Shift Work)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study is to investigate effects of shift work on married nurses' role conflict and job satisfaction. Method: Study subjects consisted of married nurses employed at four general hospitals with over 500 beds located in Seoul and Kyunggi area. The data were collected from March 15th to April 7th, 2004 using the survey and the subjects were asked to reply through self-administrative method. Results: Mean value of role conflict of nurses who worked shift work was measured 3.12 out of 5, and that of nurses who did not was measured 2.98. Mean value of job satisfaction of nurses who worked shift work was measured 2.79 out of 5, and that of nurses who did not was measured 2.86. There was a significant reverse correlation between mean level of role conflict and of job satisfaction. Both groups, nurses who worked shift work and nurses who did not, showed significant reverse-correlation in two areas. In the case of nurses who worked shift work, role conflict not showed a significant correlation. Job satisfaction showed a significant correlation with the plan to work as a nurse and remuneration in the case of nurses who worked shift work. Duty of supporting family was the factor affecting role conflict and measured 4.2% in the case of nurses who worked shift work, and the plan to work as a nurse and the academic background in the case of nurses who did not work shift work. Conclusion: To reduce role conflict and to improve the degree of job satisfaction, there should be taken a measure to improve a financial compensating system for working shift work for nurses who worked shift work, and to help nurses not working shift work to design plans for their job as nurses with stability.

행정학 분야에서의 갈등 연구경향 분석 (An Empirical Analysis of the Conflict Research Trend in the Field of Public Administration)

  • 이 연구의 목적은 효율적인 갈등관리를 위한 기초 자료의 제공과 향후 행정학 분야에서의 갈등 연구 방향을 조망하는 것이다. 이를 위하여 현재까지 진행된 갈등에 대한 연구들을 체계적으로 분석하여 연구경향을 알아보고자 하였다. 이에, 행정학 분야에서의 갈등에 대하여 연구경향분석을 실시하였다. 연구결과에 따른 주요 내용은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 게재연도에 비례하여 연구논문의 게재 편수가 증가하는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 갈등연구 분야의 연구자들이 한정되어 있어 연구논문의 저자가 1인인 단독연구가 71.2%를 차지하고 있다. 셋째, 연구비를 지원받지 못한 논문이 연구논문 중에서 73.1%를 차지하고 있다. 넷째, 갈등에 관한 연구방법으로 실증분석과 사례분석이 80.8%로 나타났다. 다섯째, 갈등연구의 목적이 대안 및 개선방안 제시와 현황 및 실태 분석이 91.3%로 나타났다. 여섯째, 연구논문의 내용과 관련하여 갈등분야는 행정/법 제도 및 시설입지 분야가 50.0%, 갈등수준은 조직간 갈등이 80.8%, 갈등주체는 정부간과 정부와 주민간 등이 76.0%, 갈등관계는 지방자치단체와 관련하여 64.5% 등으로 나타났다.

의료서비스조직 기혼 여성근로자의 직장-가정 갈등, 조직 지원이 조직유효성에 미치는 영향 (The Influence of Work-Family Conflict and Organizational Support on Organizational Effectiveness among Married Working Women of Health Services Organizations)

  • The purpose of this study is to shed light on the effect of work-family conflict on organizational effectiveness, focusing on the moderating effect of organizational support among married working women of health services organizations. Data were collected from 149 married working women of health services organizations located in Busan Metropolitan areas by structured self-administered questionnaire. Main results of this study is as the following: First, based on the type of work-household conflicts, namely time-based conflict(2.82 points), strain-based conflict(2.81 points) and behavior-based conflict(2.69 points), working women mainly experienced time and strain-based conflicts. The level of work-household conflicts was significantly higher among younger groups, highly educated, nurses, and regular workers. Second, the perceived organizational effectiveness found to be an above-average. Especially scores were high in the subcategories of customer orientation(3.84), followed by organizational commitment (3.42) and job satisfaction(3.19). The level of organizational effectiveness was significantly higher among older groups, medical technician and administrative job holders, day-time workers, and higher income groups. Third, the results of the regression analysis on the effects of work-household conflicts on organizational effectiveness showed that strain-based conflicts have a significant negative effect on organizational effectiveness such as job satisfaction and organizational commitment. Fourth, organizational support found to have a strong controlling effect for strain-based conflicts on organizational effectiveness. Above results imply that practical family-supportive policies for lessening the work-household conflicts is crucial for enhancing organizational effectiveness in health services organization.

청소년 자녀가 지각한 부부갈등과 청소년의 공격성과의 관계 (The Relationship between the Adolescent's Perception of Marital Conflict and the Adolescent's Offensive Character)

  • 본 연구는 자녀가 지각한 부부갈등과 청소년의 공격성에 관계에 관해서 조사하고자 하는 목적으로 서울에 소재 한 5개교의 중학교 2학년 남, 녀 학생 340명을 대상으로 하였다. 자녀가 지각한 부부갈등척도는 Grych와 그의 동료들(1992)이 개발한 CPIC(The Children's Perception of Interparental Conflict Scale)를 류승희(2000)가 사용한 것을 채택하였다. 청소년의 공격성 척도는 Buss 와 Durkee(1957)가 제작한 BDHI(Buss-Durkee Hostility Inventory)를 신지원(1997)이 사용한 것을 채택하였다. 자료 분석은 t-teat. one-way ANOVA. Scheffe 검증을 하였고. Pearson의 적률 상관계수를 산출하였다. 모든 유의도는 a=.05에서 검증하였다. 본 연구의 결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 첫째. 청소년의 관련 변인 중 가정의 경제상태. 부모의 주량에 따라 자녀의 부부갈등 지각에 유의한 차이가 있었다. 가정의 경제상태가 낮은 집단이 부부갈등 빈도, 강도. 해결. 대처효율성. 전체 부부갈등 지각이 높게 나타났으며. 아버지의 주량이 많은 집단이 빈도, 전체 부부갈등 지각이. 어머니의 주량이 많은 집단이 해결. 내용. 삼각관계, 전체 부부갈등 지각이 높게 나타났다. 둘째, 청소년의 관련 변인 중 가정의 경제상태에 따라 청소년의 공격성과 유의한 차이를 보였다. 가정의 경제 상태가 좋지 않은 집단이 간접적 공격성과 흥분성이 높은 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 자녀가 지각한 부부갈등과 청소년의 공격성은 유의한 상관을 보였다. 즉, 자녀가 지각한 전체적인 부부 갈등은 청소년의 흥분성, 전체 공격성, 간접적 공격성 순으로 높은 상관을 나타냈다.

밀도 학습에서 변칙 사례의 제시 방식과 권위 수준이 인지 갈등과 개념 변화에 미치는 영향 (Effects of Presentation Type and Authority Level of Anomalous Data on Cognitive Conflict and Conceptual Change in Learning Density)

  • 밀도 학습에서 변칙 사례의 특성이 인지 갈등과 개념 변화에 미치는 여향을 조사했다. 남자 중학교 1학년 416명을 대상으로 논리적 사고력 검사와 선개념 검사를 실시했다. 그 후, 변칙 사례에 대한 반응 검사를 실시하였는데, 변칙 사례는 제시 방식(동영상/읽기 자료)과 권위 수준(상/하)에 따라 네 종류를 무작위로 제시했다. 밀도에 대한 컴퓨터 보조 수업 후, 개념 검사를 실시했다. 연구 결과, 동영상으로 제사한 변칙 사례가 읽기 자료로 제사한 변칙 사례보다 인지 갈등을 더 많이 유발했다. 높은 권위 수준의 변칙 사례를 제시받은 학생들의 개념 점수가 낮은 권위 수준의 변칙 사례를 제시받은 학생들보다 높았다. 인지 갈등 점수와 개념 점수에서 변칙 사례의 특성과 학생들의 논리적 사고력 사이에는 상호작용 효과가 없었다.

단말기보조금에 따른 경로갈등에 대한 게임이론적 접근 (A Game Theoretic Approach to the Channel Conflict Due to the Subsidies for Mobile Handsets)

  • 본 연구에서는 최근 이동통신단말기보조금을 둘러싸고 이동통신서비스사업자와 이동통신 단말기제조업자 사이에서 발생한 갈등상황을 중심으로 2인비영합게임을 정의하고 그에 대한 최적전략게임해를 도출하였다. 연구결과 이동통신서비스사업자와 이동통신단말기제조업자 중 자기가 속한 시장에 대한 시장지배력이 높은 사업자는 자신에게 유리한 전략으로 힘을 행사할 수 있으며, 양 사업자들이 각자의 시장에 대한 시장지배력이 비슷하게 높다면 양자간에 잠재적 갈등과 협력의 기회가 공존하고 있다는 점 등이 밝혀졌다. 또한, 본 연구의 결과는 이동통신단말기보조금에 대한 경로갈등과 유사한 다양한 제품과 서비스를 대상으로 발생될 수 있는 경로갈등의 해결을 위한 효과적인 준거기준을 제공할 수 있을 것으로 기대 된다.

원자력 발전소 건설 프로젝트에서 갈등이 협력과 성과에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구 (The Effect of Conflict on Collaboration and Performance in Nuclear Power Plant Construction Projects)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study is to identify the impact of conflicts and cooperation on project performance in the nuclear power plant construction project, thus contributing to the successful performance of project participants and the achievement of project objectives. Methods: This study used a method of conducting a survey of participants in the nuclear power plant construction project and verifying the hypothesis statistically. Results: The results of this study are as follows; First, role conflicts and relationship conflicts have negative effects on collaboration. Second, role conflicts have a negative effects on project performance, but conflict in relation has no significant effects on project performance. Third, collaboration has a positive effects on project performance. Finally, the communication quality in the relationship between conflict and collaboration has been shown to have a Moderated effect. Conclusion: In order to achieve the goal in the nuclear power plant construction project, the level of collaboration should be improved based on conflict management among project participants.

당뇨병 환자에서 우울 및 불안증상과 자아탄력성, 사회적 갈등 및 지지 사이의 연관성 (Association of Depressive/Anxiety Symptoms with Ego Resilience and Social Conflict/Support in Patients with Diabetes Mellitus)

  • Objective : The purpose of this study was to investigate the association of depressive/anxiety symptoms with psychosocial factors including ego resilience, social conflict, and social support as well as hemoglobin A1c in patients with diabetes mellitus (DM). Methods : The subjects were 144 patients with DM. Depressive/anxiety symptoms were evaluated by the Hospital Anxiety and Depression Scale. Sociodemographic factors, hemoglobin A1c, ego resilience, social conflict, and social support were measured. Multiple regression analyses were performed to examine the impact of hemoglobin A1c, ego resilience, social conflict, and social support on depressive/anxiety symptoms. Results : A total of 32.6% and 24.3% of participants were identified with depressive and anxiety symptoms, respectively. Depressive/anxiety symptoms positively correlated with the social conflict score. Conversely, ego resilience and social support negatively correlated with depressive/anxiety symptoms. In the final model of the multiple regression analyses, ego resilience was associated with a lower level of depressive (β=-0.083, p=0.019)/anxiety (β=-0.125, p=0.001) symptoms whereas social conflict was related to a higher level of depressive (β=0.353, p=0.011)/anxiety (β=0.460, p=0.003) symptoms. Also, hemoglobin A1c positively associated with anxiety symptoms (β=0.495, p=0.012) whereas social support negatively related to depressive symptoms (β=-0.464, p=0.004). Conclusion : We found possible risk and protective psychosocial factors of underlying depressive/anxiety symptoms among patients with DM. Our findings suggest that enhancing ego resilience and social support as well as decreasing social conflict would be crucial in the prevention and management of depressive/anxiety symptoms in patients with DM.
