Due to COVID-19, the non-face-to-face era has arrived, and telemedicine has become a demand of the times in the medical community. Accordingly, this study aims to present a way to supplement Korea's telemedicine policy by comparing and analyzing domestic telemedicine policy and China's telemedicine policy, and analyzing the success factors of Chinese telemedicine. Domestic and foreign literature was explored to compare and analyze telemedicine policy cases of Korean, Chinese. Domestic and foreign national legal databases and web DBs were used, and literature were restricted between 2009 and 2022. Prior to COVID-19, the scope of telemedicine was very narrow in Korea, and only some pilot projects were operated. After COVID-19, the scope of telemedicine temporarily expanded, but no specific policies or systems were prepared. On the other hand, in the case of China, related policy institutional discussions on telemedicine have been actively conducted since the past, and accordingly, specific scope of application and related management norms and systems have been prepared. For the development of telemedicine in Korea, it is necessary to supplement the definition of telemedicine, ensure the accuracy and safety of non-face-to-face care through telemedicine, and solve the concentration phenomenon of large hospitals through limited conditions for hospital-level medical institutions.
The application of the BIM for the KEPCO' new headquarters in Naju involved alternative approaches and accompanied many trials-and-errors as the project adopted new targets and purposes that were not used in Korea before. In particular, for a large BIM-based project, clearly defining the BIM-including the objective, scope and the outcome-is critical for a project owner. For a successful implementation, project owners should improve the utilization of the BIM. Against this background, this research examines the case of the BIM application for the KEPCO' new headquarters in Naju, identifies its effects and problems, and proposes how to improve application of the BIM for public projects. The improvement in the BIM application can be divided into several stages: project order, design development, construction, and post-construction maintenance. In the initial stage, it is important to fully discuss the project planning among participants, and clarify the goal, scope, expected outcomes and role of the BIM. In the design stage, the level of detail (LOD) for the 3D model should be defined in consideration of information use in the stages of estimation and construction. In the construction stage, the scope of project that is managed based on the processing and use of the BIM data should be clearly given and understood. After construction is complete, measures should be sought to use the BIM for maintenance, and corresponding requirements and outcomes should be provided. The analysis is expected to provide basic data for successful implementation of BIM-based public projects, by assisting project owners and involved parties in enhancing work in different stages of a project.

A PC window-based computer code, CONPAS (CONtainment Performance Analysis System), has been developed to integrate the numerical, graphical, and results-operation aspects of Level 2 probabilistic safety assessments (PSA) for nuclear power plants automatically. As a main logic for accident progression analysis, it employs a concept of the small containment phenomenological event tree (CPET) helpful to trace out visually individual accident progressions and of the detailed supporting event tree (DSET) for its detailed quantification. For the integrated analysis of Level 2 PSA, the code utilizes five distinct, but closely related modules. Its computational feasibility to real PSAs has been assessed through an application to the UCN 3&4 full scope Level 2 PSA. Compared with other existing computer codes for Level 2 PSA, the CONPAS code provides several advanced features: (1) systematic uncertainty analysis / importance analysis / sensitivity analysis, (2) table / graphical display & print, (3) employment of the recent Level 2 PSA technologies, and (4) highly effective user interface. The main purpose of this paper is to introduce the key features of CONPAS code and results of its feasibility study.
Objective : This study was conducted to examine the scope and learning objective of Medical classics in the field of the education of Korean Medicine. Method : This study was analyzed and figured out list of classes which was taken by department of medical classics in eleven College of Korean Medicine and one school of Korean Medicine. Results & Conclusions : 1. Now, 14 subjects out of 16 subjects which were taken by whole department of medical classics in Korea can be a proper area of education of medical classics. Now, Hwangjenaekyung and Nangyeong are the only aim of the lessons at the medical classics. Therefore, we present to modify the aims inclusively. 2. The subject of the class have to change as follows. 'Wonjeon' changes into 'Hwangjenaekyung', 'Medical Chinese character' changes into 'Korean medical chinese character', 'medical informatics' changes into 'korean medical informatics'. 3. As we consider the condition that 'Nangyeong' is educating in just four departments of medical classics, we have to discuss about the stature of Nangyeong and to extend education of Nangyeong. 4. In the department of medical classics, we can improve the level of understanding and reading skills by educating the class of 'Sanghanron' and 'Donguibogam'. 5. This study is actively involved in trying to include 'Korean Medical Informatics' and 'Korean medical terminology ' in the education field of the medical classics.
Nurses in today's challenging health care settings need to be skilled critical thinkers and clinical experts. The nurse must be able to use a broad knowledge base to mobilize resources, coordinate actions and evaluate outcomes in complex new situations. So the national licensing examination for registered nurses is change to improve the quality of professional competency of nurses in Korea. Prior to this, learning objectives should be developed and improved periodically. The purpose of this study is to describe the nursing competency to provide base line data for developing learning objectives in adult health nursing. This study was conducted by means of a questionnaire which was developed by the researcher after reviewing the literature. The questionnaire was based on learning objectives which were developed by a nation-wide nursing faculty majoring in adult health nursing. The subjects were 45 nurses in a middle level hospital. The collected data were treated using SPSS Win 7.5 Statistical Package so as to obtain such descriptive statistics as mean score, frequency, and to test reliability test, nonpar-Friedman test. To summarize the major findings in this study, it showed the scope of nursing competency and can guide the direction of study and methodological criteria to develop learning objectives. Recommendations for further research are: firstly, it is necessary to state learning objectives with learners' behavioral terminology; secondly, to overcome locality in scope of this study, there is a need to analyze with nation-wide sampling by an in-depth statistical analysis; thirdly, because the subjects of this study are mostly three-year graduate nurses, there is a need to compare this study with other studies of different subjects.

This study empirically analyzes the relationship between market structure and R&D activities. Especially, the outcome of R&D activities could be imitated or plagiarized by nearby competitors before it is protected legally through patenting, it would work as a club good and its market structure need to be defined at the geographic level of city, county or ward rather than the whole nation. According to the regression results of this study using Survey on Technology Statistics of Small- and Medium-Sized Firms, individual firms' R&D investment is more active when market structure of area(city, county, or ward)-industry(two-digit industry) is monopolistic or oligopolistic rather than competitive. However, as the variable representing market structure is redefined over a geographic scope of 16 metropolitan areas or provinces, 6 regions, or the whole nation, the relationship between market structure and R&D activities seems to become weak. Moreover, when the R&D expenditure is divided by its source, more active R&D spending in a less competitive market is observed as long as it is procured by internal fund of the firm in question.
Purpose - Previous research has shown that a very high level and a very low level of job scope can both be more stressful than intermediate levels of job scope. This study investigates the potential positive and negative effects of the number of accounts handled by sales personnel. The primary objective of this paper is to examine how the number of accounts salespeople handle affects their stress and performance. Research design, data, and methodology - This research conducted the data collection using a survey of salespeople in the pharmaceutical industry. I sent the survey to 420 salespeople, and received 318 usable responses. To assess measurement reliability and validity, I ran an exploratory and confirmatory factor analysis. I also employed structural equation modeling (SEM) to test all hypothesized effects in AMOS and also measured the interaction variable using Ping's (1996) approach. Results - These results show that there are linear and non-linear effects of the number of accounts handled by the salesperson on both role ambiguity and role conflict. First, the number of accounts handled by a salesperson is positively related to role ambiguity and role conflict. Second, the effect of the number of accounts handled on role ambiguity and role conflict decreases as the number of accounts handled by the salesperson increases. Third, as accounts increase from a low level, role stress increases; when the number of accounts reaches an optimal level, role stress decreases; and when the number of accounts increases to a high level, it can be detrimental to the salesperson's role stress. Fourth, while product complexity is positively related to role ambiguity, brand strength is negatively related to both role ambiguity and role conflict. Fifth, the greater the brand strength, the weaker the relationship will be between the number of accounts handled and salesperson role ambiguity. Finally, role ambiguity is positively related to salesperson performance. Conclusion - Too much and too little accounts increase the role ambiguity and role conflict of salespersons. Managers should identify the complex effect of the number of accounts handled by salespeople. Also, when products are complex, managers should provide training to eliminate any complex processes and complex information. These results suggest ways to decrease salespersons' role stress by ensuring an optimal level of the number of accounts and brand strength.
From the PSA point of view, the Fukushima accident of Japan in 2011 reveals some issues to be re-considered and/or improved in the PSA such as the limited scope of the PSA, site risk, etc. KAERI (Korea Atomic Energy Research Institute) has performed researches on the development of an integrated risk assessment framework related to some issues arisen after the Fukushima accident. This framework can cover the internal PSA model and external PSA models (fire, flooding, and seismic PSA models) in the full power and the low power-shutdown modes. This framework also integrates level 1, 2 and 3 PSA to quantify the risk of nuclear facilities more efficiently and consistently. We expect that this framework will be helpful to resolve the issue regarding the limited scope of PSA and to reduce some inconsistencies that might exist between (1) the internal and external PSA, and (2) full power mode PSA and low power-shutdown PSA models. In addition, KAERI is starting researches related to the extreme external events, the risk assessment of spent fuel pool, and the site risk. These emerging issues will be incorporated into the integrated risk assessment framework. In this paper the integrated risk assessment framework and the research activities on the emerging issues are outlined.
