  • We introduce the concept of an interval-valued fuzzy generalized bi-ideal of a semigroup, which is an extension of the concept of an interval-valued fuzzy bi-ideal (and of a noninterval-valued fuzzy bi-ideal and a noninterval-valued fuzzy ideal of a semi-group), and characterize regular semigroups, and both intraregular and left quasiregular semigroup in terms of interval-valued fuzzy generalized bi-ideals.

  • In this paper, we deal with the question that what kind of properties does a ring gain when it satisfies symmetricity or reversibility by the way of nilpotent elements? By the motivation of this question, we approach to symmetric and reversible property of rings via nilpotents. For symmetricity, we call a ring R middle right-(resp. left-)nil symmetric (mr-nil (resp. ml-nil) symmetric, for short) if abc = 0 implies acb = 0 (resp. bac = 0) for a, c ∈ R and b ∈ nil(R) where nil(R) is the set of all nilpotent elements of R. It is proved that mr-nil symmetric rings are abelian and so directly finite. We show that the class of mr-nil symmetric rings strictly lies between the classes of symmetric rings and weak right nil-symmetric rings. For reversibility, we introduce left (resp. right) N-reversible ideal I of a ring R if for any a ∈ nil(R), b ∈ R, being ab ∈ I implies ba ∈ I (resp. b ∈ nil(R), a ∈ R, being ab ∈ I implies ba ∈ I). A ring R is called left (resp. right) N-reversible if the zero ideal is left (resp. right) N-reversible. Left N-reversibility is a generalization of mr-nil symmetricity. We exactly determine the place of the class of left N-reversible rings which is placed between the classes of reversible rings and CNZ rings. We also obtain that every left N-reversible ring is nil-Armendariz. It is observed that the polynomial ring over a left N-reversible Armendariz ring is also left N-reversible.

  • We give the characterization of an intuitionistic fuzzy ideal[resp. intuitionistic fuzzy left ideal, an intuitionistic fuzzy right ideal and an intuitionistic fuzzy hi-ideal] generated by an intuitionistic fuzzy set in a semigroup without any condition. And we prove that every intuitionistic fuzzy ideal of a semigroup S is the union of a family of intuitionistic fuzzy principle ideals of 5. Finally, we investigate the intuitionistic fuzzy ideal generated by an intuitionistic fuzzy set in $S^{1}$

  • A ring R is called (left principally) quasi-Baer if the left annihilator of every (principal) left ideal of R is generated by an idempotent. Let R be a ring, G be an ordered monoid acting on R by $\beta$ and R be G-compatible. It is shown that R is (left principally) quasi-Baer if and only if skew monoid ring $R_{\beta}[G]$ is (left principally) quasi-Baer. If G is an abelian monoid, then R is (left principally) quasi-Baer if and only if the Cohn-Jordan extension $A(R,\;\beta)$ is (left principally) quasi-Baer if and only if left Ore quotient ring $G^{-1}R_{\beta}[G]$ is (left principally) quasi-Baer.

  • In this paper, we define a g-regular semigroup which is a generalization of a regular semigroup. And we want to find some properties of g-regular semigroup. G-regular semigroups contains the variety of all regular semigroup and the variety of all periodic semigroup. If a is an element of a semigroup S, the smallest left ideal containing a is Sa.cup.{a}, which we may conveniently write as $S^{I}$a, and which we shall call the principal left ideal generated by a. An equivalence relation l on S is then defined by the rule alb if and only if a and b generate the same principal left ideal, i.e. if and only if $S^{I}$a= $S^{I}$b. Similarly, we can define the relation R. The equivalence relation D is R.L and the principal two sided ideal generated by an element a of S is $S^{1}$a $S^{1}$. We write aqb if $S^{1}$a $S^{1}$= $S^{1}$b $S^{1}$, i.e. if there exist x,y,u,v in $S^{1}$ for which xay=b, ubv=a. It is immediate that D.contnd.q. A semigroup S is called periodic if all its elements are of finite order. A finite semigroup is necessarily periodic semigroup. It is well known that in a periodic semigroup, D=q. An element a of a semigroup S is called regular if there exists x in S such that axa=a. The semigroup S is called regular if all its elements are regular. The following is the property of D-classes of regular semigroup.group.

  • An idempotent e of a ring R is called right (resp., left) semicentral if er = ere (resp., re = ere) for any r ∈ R, and an idempotent e of R∖{0, 1} will be called right (resp., left) quasicentral provided that for any r ∈ R, there exists an idempotent f = f(e, r) ∈ R∖{0, 1} such that er = erf (resp., re = fre). We show the whole shapes of idempotents and right (left) semicentral idempotents of upper triangular matrix rings and polynomial rings. We next prove that every nontrivial idempotent of the n by n full matrix ring over a principal ideal domain is right and left quasicentral and, applying this result, we can find many right (left) quasicentral idempotents but not right (left) semicentral.

  • In this paper, left-regular maps on d-algebras are defined. These mappings show behaviors reminiscent of homomorphisms on d-algebras which have been studied elsewhere. In particular for these mappings kernels, annihilators and co-annihilators are defined and some of their properties are investigated, especially in the setting of positive implicative d-algebras.
