학습클리닉프로그램이 학습부적응 아동의 인지처리양식에 미치는 효과 (The Effects of Learning Clinic Program on Cognitive Processing Styles for Learning Maladjusted Children)

  • The purpose of this study was to apply the learning clinic program to the maladjusted children to help the cognitive processing style, sense type and learning strategy. The results were as follows. First, the cognitive processing style of low-grade elementary school children is divided into the concept of sequential low-order style, which analyzes information sequentially and consecutively, concrete thinking style that processes real and direct information coming in from outside, and invisible principle or information. The abstract cognitive thinking style improved after the process before the program proceeded. However, There was no meaningful result in the simultaneous processing cognitive style which had excellent intuition and emotion and likes change. Second, the temporal lobe in which the linguistic activity is viewed, heard and spoken in the sensory type, the function of the occipital lobe in which the character or the language is processed is improved, but the function of the parietal lobe in moving and manipulating the body is not significant. Finally, factors that contribute to learning such as sincerity, learning initiative, study method, study habits, and concentration are helpful in learning and school life.

다층 구조 신경회로망의 학습 속도 향상을 위한 활성화 함수의 변화 (Variation of activation functions for accelerating the learning speed of the multilayer neural network)

  • 이 논문에서는 오차 역전파 학습 알고리듬의 학습 속도를 향상시키기 위한 새로운 학습 방법을 제안한다. 제안하고자 하는 방법은 시그모이드 형태를 갖는 신경회로망의 활성화 함수(activation function) 자체에 고차항(higher order)을 적절히 이용하여 초기 학습 단계에서 발생할 수 있는 조기 포화(premature saturation) 현상을 계산량의 큰 증가 없이 효과적으로 대처할 수 있다. 고차항을 이용함으로써 은닉층 활성화 함수의 도합수가 작은 값으로 감소함에 따라 신경망의 연결 강도를 학습시키는 학습율은 적응적으로 큰 값을 갖게 된다. 또한, 은닉층에 고차항을 이용하는 제안한 방법에 모멘텀(momentum) 학습 알고리듬을 결합하는 새로운 hybrid 학습 방법을 제안한다. 컴퓨터 모의 실험을 통해 제안하고자 하는 학습 방법과 기존의 방법들과의 학습 속도 성능을 비교한다.

  • 많은 대학교에서 사이버 강의는 오늘날 중요한 교육 형태로 자리 잡아가고 있다. 수강생이 많은 교양교과목과 전공의 일부 교과목들을 사이버강의로 진행하고 있다. 그러나 실제로 사이버 강의의 수요자이면서 주체인 학습자에 대한 현황 분석 연구는 거의 이루어지지 않아서, 학습자의 특성에 맞게 사이버 강의가 제공되고 있는지에 대한 연구는 부족하다. 본 연구는 사이버 강의 과정에 이루어지는 학생들의 로그 파일을 이용하여 학습자들의 교양과목과 전공과목의 학습시간 유형을 시간대별, 요일별, 주차별로 분석하고, 효율적으로 학습효과를 높일 수 있는 방안들을 제시하였다. 학생들의 학습시간이 30분 이내인 로그인이 50%이상이며, 강의외적인 요소에 이런닝 시스템 자원을 낭비하고 있어서 개선이 필요하다.

  • 이런닝(e-Learning)에서의 사이버 강의는 오늘날 중요한 교육 형태로 자리 잡아가고 있다. 그러나 실제로 사이버 강의의 수요자이면서 주체인 학습자에 대한 현황 분석 연구는 거의 이루어지지 않아서, 학습자의 특성에 맞게 사이버 강의가 제공되고 있는지에 대한 연구는 부족하다. 본 연구는 사이버 강의 과정에 이루어지는 학생들의 로그 파일을 이용하여 학습자들의 로그인과 학습시간 유형을 시간대별, 요일별, 주차별로 분석하고, 효율적으로 학습효과를 높일 수 있는 방안들을 제시하였다. 학생들의 학습시간이 30분이내인 로그인이 50%이상이며, 강의외적인 요소에 이런닝 시스템 자원을 낭비하고 있어서 개선이 필요하다.

  • In mathematics education, teaching-learning activity can be divided largely into the understanding the mathematical concepts, derivation of principles and laws, acquirement of the mathematical abilities. We utilize various media, teaching tools, audio-visual materials, manufacturing materials for understanding mathematical concepts. But sometimes we cannot define or explain correctly the concepts as well as the derivation of principles and laws by these materials. In order to solve the problem we can use the computer. In this paper, character and movement state of various quadratic function graph types can be used. Using the computers is more visible than other educational instruments like blackboards, O.H.Ps., etc. Then, students understand the mathematical concepts and the correct quadratic function graph correctly. Consquently more effective teaching-learning activity can be done. Usage of computers is the best method for improving the mathematical abilities because computers have functions of the immediate reaction, operation, reference and deduction. One of the important characters of mathematics is accuracy, so we use computers for improving mathematical abilities. This paper is about the program focused on the part of "the quadratic function graph", which exists in mathematical curriculum the middle school. When this program is used for students, it is expected the following educational effect. 1, Students will have positive thought by arousing interests of learning because this program is composed of pictures, animations with effectiveness of sound. 2. This program will cause students to form the mathematical concepts correctly. 3. By visualizing the process of drawing the quadratic function graph, students understand the quadratic function graph structually. 4. Through the feedback, the recognition ability of the trigonometric function can be improved. 5. It is possible to change the teacher-centered instruction into the student-centered instruction. For the purpose of increasing the efficiencies and qualities of mathmatics education, we have to seek the various learning-teaching methods. But considering that no computer can replace the teacher′s role, tearchers have to use the CIA program carefully.

Simple Graphs for Complex Prediction Functions

  • By supervised learning with p predictors, we frequently obtain a prediction function of the form $y\;=\;f(x_1,...,x_p)$. When $p\;{\geq}\;3$, it is not easy to understand the inner structure of f, except for the case the function is formulated as additive. In this study, we propose to use p simple graphs for visual understanding of complex prediction functions produced by several supervised learning engines such as LOESS, neural networks, support vector machines and random forests.

적응적 자기 조직화 형상지도 (Adaptive Self Organizing Feature Map)

  • 본 논문에서는 코호넨(Kohonen)의 SOFM (Self-Organizing Feature Map) 알고리즘의 단점을 해결하기 위한 새로운 학습 알고리즘 ASOFM(Adaptive Self-Organized Feature Map)을 제안한다. 코호넨의 학습 알고리즘은 초기화된 연결 벡터에 대하여 극소점에 빠지는 경우도 있다. 그러나 제안된 알고리즘에서는 학습과정중에 네트워크의 상태를 평가할 수 있는 목적함수(object function)을 사용하였고, 이 함수의 출력에 따라 학습의 각 시점에서 적응적으로 학습률의 재조정이 가능하였다. 이 결과, 네트워크의 상태가 최소점에 수렴함이 보증 되고 학습률의 적응성에 의해 임의의 학습패턴에 대한 학습의 일반화 능력이 보장되었다. 또한 제안된 알고리즘은 코호넨의 알고리즘보다 약 $70\%$이상의 학습시간을 단축한다.

Influence on overfitting and reliability due to change in training data

  • The range of problems that can be handled by the activation of big data and the development of hardware has been rapidly expanded and machine learning such as deep learning has become a very versatile technology. In this paper, mnist data set is used as experimental data, and the Cross Entropy function is used as a loss model for evaluating the efficiency of machine learning, and the value of the loss function in the steepest descent method is We applied the GradientDescentOptimize algorithm to minimize and updated weight and bias via backpropagation. In this way we analyze optimal reliability value corresponding to the number of exercises and optimal reliability value without overfitting. And comparing the overfitting time according to the number of data changes based on the number of training times, when the training frequency was 1110 times, we obtained the result of 92%, which is the optimal reliability value without overfitting.

가미신선부노단이 ibotenic acid손상에 의해 유도된 치매 백서의 학습 및 기억장애에 미치는 영향 (Effects of Gamisinsunbulo-dan on Learning and Memory Function in the Dementia Rat by Ibotenic acid Damage)

  • This research was done to make the effective prescription and cope with various senile dementia. Sprague-Dawley rats were injured by ibotenic acid to make a damage on learning and memory functions of model rats. At first acquisition test and retention rest were done in the Morris water maze. And to evaluate the effects of the sample drug(GSD) on choline acetyltranferase and acetylcholine esterase, immunoreactive measurement and enzymatic activity measuring were carried out. The ibotenic acid were injected to hippocampus CA1 and CA3 area. Conclusion : GSD improved the learning ability in the acquisition test and memory function in the retention test significantly. And GSD increased the level of ChAT which is synthesizing acetylcholine in CA1 area, and at the same time it increased the level of AChE which is resolving acetylcholine. These results show that GSD improved the cholinergic catabolism and anabolism, and the increment of metabolic activity of cholinergic system. In other words, it contributes to the recovery of damaged learning and memory function by ibotenic acid. So it can be concluded that GSD will be helpful to cholinergic brain damage induced by primary or senile reduction of acetylcholine secretive activity.
