몇 생리적(生理的) 특성(特性)을 이용(利用)한 제일대(第一代) 잡종(雜種) 포플러, Populus alba×Populus glandulosa F1의 우량(優良) clone 선발(選拔)에 관(關)한 연구(硏究) (A Technique for Selecting Superior Populus alba×Populus glandulosa F1 Clones with Some Physiological Characters)

  • 제일대(第一代) 잡종(雜種) 포플러 Poulus alba${\times}$Populus glandulosa $F_1$의 우량(優良) clone을 선발(選拔)하기 위해, 서울대학교(大學校) 농과대학(農科大學) 묘포장(苗圃場)에서 밀식재배(密植栽培)(20.000본(本)/ha)한 1,2년생(年生) 각각(各各) 13,15 clones을 대상(對象)으로 생장(生長)과 생장(生長)에 관련(關聯)된 몇 생리적(生理的) 특성(特性)을 조사(調査), 비교(比較)하였다. 개체당(個體當) 건중량(乾重量), 엽면적(葉面積), 단위엽면적당(單位葉面積當) 엽록소(葉綠素) 함량(含量)에 있어서 2년생(年生) clone들 간(間)에는 고도(高度)의 유의차(有意差)가 인정(認定)되었으나, 1년생(年生) clone들에 있어서는 유의차(有意差)가 인정(認定)되지 않았다. 개체당(個體當) 건중량(乾重量)과 개체당(個體當) 엽면적(葉面積)과의 상관관계(相關關係)는 r=0.865, 개체당(個體當) 건중량(乾重量)과 개체당(個體當) 엽록소함량(葉綠素含量)과의 상관관계(相關關係)는 r=0.888로 고도(高度)의 상관(相關)이 인정(認定)되었으며, 개체당(個體當) 건중량(乾重量)과 개체당(個體當) 광합성능력(光合成能力)과의 상관관계(相關關係)에서는 r=0.745로 비교적(比較的) 높은 상관(相關)이 인정(認定)되었다. 1년생(年生) clone의 엽부위별(葉部位別) 엽단위면적당(葉單位面積當) 광합성능력(光合成能力)과 엽록소함량(葉綠素含量)은 엽순서(葉順序)가 증가(增加)함에 따라 증가(增加)하여 28번째와 33번째 엽(葉)에서 각각(各各) 최대치(最大値)를 보였으며 그후 아래엽(葉)으로 내려올수록 감소(減少)하는 경향(傾向)을 보였다. Clone 68-1-54, 66-26-55, 65-22-11 등(等)은 개체당(個體當) 엽면적(葉面積), 단위면적당(單位面積當) 엽록소함량(葉綠素含量) 및 광합성능력(光合成能力)으로 보아 다른 clone들 보다 양호(良好)한 생장능력(生長能力)을 보였다. 제일대잡종(第一代雜種) 포플러, Populus alba${\times}$Populus glandulosa $F_1$ 유시(幼時) 생장량(生長量)은 개체당(個體當) 엽면적(葉面積)이나 개체당(個體當) 엽록소함량(葉綠素含量)으로 추정(推定)할 수 있었으며, 이러한 사실(事實)로 보아, 엽면적(葉面積)과 엽록소함량(葉綠素含量)의 측정치(測定値)는 본(本) 잡종(雜種) 포플러의 우량(優良) clone을 선발(選拔)하는 하나의 기준(基準)으로 사용(使用)될 수 있다.

돌산갓의 Carotenoids 및 Chlorophyll 함량 (Contents of Carotenoids and Chlorophylls in Dolsan Leaf Mustard(Brassica juncea))

  • To furnish basic data for the utilization of leaf mustard as a raw material of salted and fermented vegetable food, the contents of carotenoids and chlorophylls of Dolsan Leaf Mustard(DLM) were investigated. Total carotenoid content of DLM was 4.75 mg%, and the compositions were ${\beta}-carotene(80.91%)$, lutein(13.07%), lutein epoxide(3.93%). The contents of chlorophyll a and b were 4.1 and 1.5 mg%, and leaf was 7.4- and 8.1-fold, respectively, higher than leaf stalk. The ratios of chlorophyll a/b in leaf (2.7:1) and leaf stalk(3.0:1) were similar to those of other vegetables.

적엽ㆍ제협처리가 콩의 광합성과 동화물질 배분에 미치는 영향 (Effects of Leaf and Pod Removal on Photosynthesis and Assimilate Partition in Soybean)

  • 대두에서 각각 50%의 협제거와 협제거 처리에 의해서 변화된 동화물질에 대한 sink demand가 엽의 광합성율과 각 부위별 단백질 함량 및 엽의 노화에 미치는 영향을 구명하기 위하여, 1990년 고려대학교 자연자원대학, 식량자원학과 실험포장에서, pot에 팔달콩을 공 시하여 총건물중과 엽을 제외한 vegetative tissues의 건물중, 잎과 뿌리의 전분함량, 엽의 광합성율과 기공저항성, 각 부위별 단백질함량, 엽의 chlorophyll content등을 조사한 결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 1. 엽을 제외한 vegetative tissues의 건물중은 협제거 처리에 의해서 증가되었고, 따라서 협제거 처리에 의한 총건물중의 감소는 유의성이 없었다. 2. 종실의 100립종은 대조구와 비교할 때, 50% 협제거 처리에 의해 6.4% 증가하였으며, 50% 엽제거 처리에 의해서 3.0% 감소하였다. 3. 엽의 전분함량은 처리 후 22일부터 감소되었고 뿌리의 전분함량은 전 시기에 걸쳐 감소되었는데, 잎과 뿌리의 전분함량은 협제거 처리에 의해 높아지고 엽제거 처리에 의해 낮아지는 경향을 보였다. 4. Specific leaf weight는 협제거 처리에 의해 증가되었고 엽제거에 의해 감소 되었다. 5. 엽의 광합성율은 전 시기에 걸쳐서 높아졌으며, 협제거 처리에 의해 증가되었다. 7. 잎, 중기+엽병, 뿌리 등의 단백질함량은 점차로 감소되는 경향이었으며, 협제거 처리에 의해 높아졌고 엽제거에 의해 낮아지는 경향을 보였다. 8. 성숙기( $R_{7}$)의 종실의 단백질함량은 협제거와 엽제거 처리에 의해 유의성 있는 차이를 나타내지 않았다. 9. 엽의 chlorophyll content의 감소에 의한 엽의 외관상 노화는 협제거처리에 의해 지연되었고 엽제거에 의해 촉진되었다. 10. 광합성율의 감소에 의한 엽의 기능상 노화는 엽제거 처리에 의해 촉진되었다.

광질처리에 따른 박 유묘의 생장 및 자엽의 엽록소 함량 변화 (Effect of Blue, Red and Far-red Lights on Seeding Growth and Cotyledon Chlorophyll Content of Lagenaria siceraria Standl)

  • Various types of the seeding of bottle gourd widely used as a rootstock of watermelon has been required to satisfy the farmers need. The study was done to determine the effect of light quality of blue, red and far-red lights treated with light emitting diodes on growth and morphology of bottle goured seeding and chlorophyll content of its cotyledons. The lights were treated in the growth chamber for 7 days to the seeding elapsed 8 days after sowing under natural condition, and 64 hole trays with commercial bedsoil. Plant height, length and diameter of hypocotyl, leaf area of cotyledon and first true leaf, its leaf length, number of true leaves, fraction and total dry weight were measured. Red light shortened and slenderized the hypocotyl, which lengthened by far-red light and thickened by blue light. Plant height was declined in order of far-red light treatment, blue and red lights mainly due to difference of hypocotyl length, Area and length of the first true leaf became smaller and shorter under far-red light than under the other lights. However, blue light increased leaf area of cotyledons. Two cultivars cv. Yongjadaemok and cv. Kunghap had different response to the light treatments in total seedling dry weight(dw); far-red and red light treatments showed the greatest and the least dw of hypocotyl, respectively, while blue and red lights did the greatest dw of the other organs. Among the ratio of each organ dw to total dw, those of hypocotyl and true leaves were different between the light treatments; the highest ratio of hypocotyl dw to total dw was observed in far-red light treatment but the lowest was in red light treatment. Those of the true leaves were the lowest in far-red light and similar response in blue or red light treatment. Chlorophyll content of cotyledons was decreased in order of red light treatment, blue and far-red lights, meaning that short period light treatment may influence photosynthesis of seeding and afterward its growth.

  • 목본식물에 대한 Al독성에 관한 기초자료를 얻고자, Al농도별(1.0, 2.5및 5.0mM)수용액과 지하수에 수경삽목한 개나리삽수의 생장관련형질(신초의 생장, 엽수, 엽피해율 및 엽록소함량)을 처리간 비교하였다. 모든 생장관련형질들(신초의 생장, 엽수, 엽피해율 및 엽록소함량)에서 처리간 고도의 통계적 유의차가 인정되었으며. 1.0mM 정도의 Al수용액도 개나리삽수의 생장을 현저히 억제하였다.

Effectiveness of Arbuscular Mycorrhizal Fungi (AMF) Inoculation on the Growth of Perilla

  • To evaluate the effectiveness of AMF on the growth of horticultural crops, we compared mycorrhizal and non-mycorrhizal plants, perilla (P. frutescens Britt.), that were inoculated with AMF propagules. In the early stages of growth of perilla, compared to the AMF- perilla seedlings, in AMF+ perilla seedlings at 3 weeks after sowing, leaf length and width increased 17% and 29%, leaf area increased 28%, and shoot fresh weight increased 33%, root total length increased 1%, and chlorophyll content increased 3%. Further at 10 weeks after sowing, compared to the AMF- perilla plants, in perilla plants inoculated with AMF at the sowing and transplanting stages, leaf area increased 21% and 19%, shoot length increased 19% and 17%, root fresh weight increased 17% and 20%, and chlorophyll content increased 5.1% and 4.8%, respectively. Moreover, at 14 weeks after sowing, compared to the AMFperilla plants, in perilla plants inoculated with AMF at the sowing and transplanting stages, the number of leaves increased 16% and 20%, root fresh weight increased 16% and 17% significantly. Further, leaf fresh weight increased 9% and 11%, shoot diameter increased 4.5% and 7.3%, and chlorophyll content increased 1.5% and 2.5%, respectively. The levels of many macronutrients and micronutrients were tended to be significantly higher in AMF+ plants than in AMF- plants, supporting the association between AMF and enhanced growth of plants grown from AMF+ seedlings.

병포장 갓김치의 항산화 효과에 대한 연구 (Antioxidation Activities of Bottled Mustard Leaf Kimchi during Fermentation)

  • Mustard Leaf Kimchi (MLK) is a traditional fermented Korean vegetable food. This study was conducted to investigate the effects of part vacuum treatment on MLK packed in a glass bottle during fermentation. There have been a few previous studies that examined the chemical and microbial changes during MLK fermentation. However, the major object of this study was to investigate the antioxidative activities of vacuum treated MLK. In this study, the antioxidative activity of vacuum treated mustard leaf Kimchi (VM) and control mustard leaf Kimchi (CM) were examined. VM and CM were fermented at $5^{\circ}C$ for 8 weeks. A model system was designed to evaluate the antioxidative activity of crude chlorophylls and carotenoids (CCC) extracts from Mustard leaf Kimchi. The oxidative reaction of the linoleic acid mixture system at $30^{\circ}C$ in the dark was quantified determining the peroxide value and conjugated dienoic acid content. The effect of the CCC extracts on lipid peroxidation in a rat liver homogenate was examined. Formation of lipid peroxides was estimated by the TBA value, and the CCC extracts were found to inhibit the TBA value. Chlorophyll a and b, and carotenoids, Which are the major components in the CCC extracts of Kimchi were isolated on a DEAE-sepharose CL-6B and Sepharose CL-6B column and TLC. The effects of chlorophyll a and b, caroteins on linoleic acid autoxidation were measured by determining the peroxide value. In addition, their effects on free radical scavenging were investigated by DPPH. In this assay, chlorophyll a showed the greatest antioxidative activity followed by chlorophyll b, and carotenoids. MLK contains a sufficient content of chlorophyll a and b, and carotenoid which have strong antioxidative activities.

광환경이 한국들잔디(Zoysia japonica)의 물질생산과 생장에 미치는 영향 (Effects of Light Environment on Dry Matter Production and Growth of Zoysia japonica)

  • This study was carried out to investigate the interaction between productivity and light condition and to analyze the material productivity and productive charactaristics under different hours of light in Zoysia japonica. 1. Rate increasement of leaf number and total leaf length was remarkably high at the early growth stage in the control and 9 hour light treatment. The rate gradually decreased as growth proceeded. But 3 hour treatment was very low in the rate from its early growth stage through the whole test period. 2. The increasing rate of leaf area ratio (LAR) in all the experimental plots was remarkably high at the early growth stage after transplanting the grass. The shorter photoperiod resulted remarkable lower increasement of LAR. 3. The rhizome growth rate of the 9 hour photoperiod was high contrast to the 3 hour photoperiod treatment. The increasing rate of node number was also showed similar trend. 4. Chlorophyll content was very high at the 36 days after transplanting and then decreased gradually. Chlorophyll content on 3 hours photoperiod plot severely decreased. The ratio of chlorophyll a to b was decreased significantly at short day treatment. 5. The content of soluble sugar was increased at shorter photoperiod. The highest ratio of sugar content was on August, 28 by HPLC method. Such a result was attributed to accumulation of sugar in spite of low synthesis of ploysacchrides, translocation by low consumption. 6. The increasing rate of standings in all light treatment was high at the early growth stage after transplanting. Short photoperiod treatment by 3hour showed especially low prganic productivity on Zoysia japonica.

차광정도가 산마늘의 생육 및 엽록소 함량에 미치는 영향 (Effect of Shading Levels on the Growth and Chlorophyll Contents of Allium victorialis L. var. platyphyllum Makino)

  • 본 연구는 쌈채 및 강장제로 이용되고 있는 산마늘을 조경용 지피식물로 활용하고자 수행하였다. 차광 정도를 30%, 50%, 80%로 처리하여 생육 특성 및 엽록소 함량 등을 조사하였다. 엽수는 처리구별로 유의성이 인정되지 않았으나 엽장과 엽폭은 80% 차광 처리구가 각각 16.8cm, 10.1cm로 무처리구의 13.4cm, 7.3cm에 비해 우수하였다. 생체중은 무처리구가 차광 처리구에 비해 우수한 것으로 나타났으나 지상부 생체중은 무처기구가 8.5g인데 비해 80% 차광 처리구가 0.4g로 양호하였다. 엽록소 함량은 50% 차광 처리구가 42.8, 80% 차광 처리구가 40.5로 무처리의 36.7에 비해 높았다. 따라서 차광 수준에 따른 산마늘의 생육 특성은 80% 차광 처리구에서 가장 우수하여 음지성 지피식물로서 가치가 있는 것으로 나타났다.

키토산 처리에 의한 크리핑 벤트그래스(Agrotis palustris H.)의 생장 효과 (Effects of Chitosan on Growth Responses of Creeping Bentgrass (Agrotis palustris H.))

  • 키토산 처리에 의한 크리핑 벤트그래스의 생장에 미치는 영향에 대하여 분석하였다. 엽장은 무처리 평균은 25.1cm로 확인되었고, 키토산 500배 처리 시 평균 31.6cm로 가장 높은 생육증가를 나타내었다. 엽수는 무처리 시 평균은 27.9매로 나타났고, 키토산 300배 처리 시 45.5 매로 증가하였다. 뿌리길이는 무처리에서 21.1cm인 것으로 나타났으나, 키토산 600배 처리 시 27.9cm로 뿌리 길이의 생육이 증가하는 것으로 나타났다. 엽록소 함량은 무처리 시에서 $11.9mg/100cm^2$로 나타났고, 키토산 300배 처리에서 $18.4mg/100cm^2$로 최대 증가를 나타내었다. 뿌리길이의 생장, 엽록소 함량, 지상부 생체중과 건물중, 지하부 생체중과 건물중은 키토산 500배 처리 농도에서 가장 높은 생장 특성을 나타냈다.
