융합형 인재에 대한 기업의 인식 분석 연구 - 대전지역 기업을 중심으로 - (An Empirical Study for the Cognition of the Convergence Human Resource for the companies - focus on the Firms in Deajeon Region -)

  • 본 연구는 21세기의 화두로 제시되고 있는 융합기술에 대한 기업이 요구하고 있는 융합형 인재에 대한 기업의 인식을 규명하는데 있다. 이를 위해 대전지역의 기업 110개를 대상으로 기업이 인식하고 있는 융합형 인적자원에 대해 기업의 기술경쟁력 수준에 따라 실증분석을 통해 조사하였다. 본 연구의 결과는 기업의 경쟁력 수준에 따라 선도추격자, 혁신자 및 후발추격자로 분류하여 이들 기업들이 기업 경쟁력을 강화하기 위한 수단으로 융합관련에 대한 패러다임을 어떻게 인식하고 있는지를 조사했다. 선도추격자들은 종합설계자, 문제해결자와 통찰자의 인재를 요구하고 있으며, 혁신자들은 종합설계자, 문제해결자와 전문가를 요구하고 있다. 후발추격자들은 전통적인 인성을 중요시 했다. 기술경영에 대한 인식으로는 모든 집단에서 중요하게 생각하고 있는 것으로 조사되었다. 선도추격자 및 혁신자들은 미래시장에 대한 예측을 위해서는 CEO 및 연구인력 그리고 중간 관리자의 역할이 중요하게 나타났으며 이들에 대한 교육은 이종기술과의 융합능력, 기존 기술의 첨단화 능력 및 시장 수요에 대한 이해를 요구하고 있다. 자사의 제품 혹은 기술에 대해서는 이종 기술과의 접목이 매우 필요한 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 융합기술분야의 전문가에 적합한 인재상은 선도추격자와 혁신자들은 다른 업종과 접목하는 전문가, 기술과 경영을 잘 아는 전문가 및 동종의 다양한 기술을 접목할 줄 아는 전문가를 요구했다. 반면에 후발추격자들은 다른 업종과의 접목하는 전문가를 요구했다.

국가상 혁신기업선정을 위한 정성지표의 개발 (Qualitative Indicator Development of National Award for Innovation Leading Company)

  • 본 연구는 정부에서 수여하는 국가 상(償)에 도전하는 혁신선도기업을 평가 및 선정하기 위한 정성지표개발에 초점을 맞추고 있다. 혁신선도기업을 지나치게 계량적으로 평가함에 따라 제품이나 기술, 서비스 등의 혁신성이나 가치 등이 평가가 절하되는 측면을 보완하는 것이 본 연구의 목적이기도 하다. 기존의 국가상 평가지표는 장점도 있지만 평가 항목이 너무 많아 혁신선도기업의 평가에는 적합하지 않은 측면이 있었다. 연구의 접근방법은 선행연구와 TF토의를 바탕으로 정성지표개발을 위한 항목을 선정하는 것으로 하였다. 기본적으로 투입-과정-산출-효과로 이어지는 일련의 흐름으로 지표항목의 체계를 갖추도록 하였다. 최종적으로 창의성, 시스템우수성, 고객가치, 기업성과, 파급효과 등의 5개 정성 지표항목이 선정되었다. 선정된 5개 지표항목에 대해서는 개념적 정의와 평가시 주안점 등을 서술하였다. 그리고 시스템 수준평가와 ADLI 접근방식도 제시하였다. 부록에는 본 연구에서 제시한 정성지표를 활용하여 실제기업을 정성적, 정량적 양식에 따라 평가한 사례도 수록하였다. 그러나 본 연구는 혁신선도기업을 정성적인 접근방식으로 평가하는 것으로 설계되어 있어, 평가자의 수준과 관점에 따라 평가결과가 변동되는 가능성을 갖는 한계점이 내포하고 있다. 향후에는 정성지표로 활용될 수 있는 후보지표들에 대한 세부연구와 혼합지표(정량, 정성)의 개발에 대한 연구가 지속되기를 기대한다.

A Study on Antecedent Variables for Emotional Labor

  • The purpose of this study is to verify antecedent variables that affect emotional labor. The results are as follows. First, display rules positively affected deep acting and negatively affected surface acting. Second, customer contact time positively affected deep acting but did not affect surface acting. Third, the interaction between display rules and customer contact time did not have significant effects on surface acting but negatively affected deep acting. The implications based on these results are as follows. First, theoretically, this study extends the range of leading variables that affect emotional labor and verifies the moderation effects between these variables. Next, practically, this study suggests that presenting harmonious criteria with regards to display rules and customer contact time that fit well into the concept of food service company is a very useful tool to manage emotional labor of the employees. The limitation of this study is that the causal relationship between variables demonstrated in this study cannot be generalized due to convenience sampling and cross sectional research.

East Meets West: A Critical Analysis on The Evolution, Growth and Transfer of QFD from Japan to The West

  • This paper describes the origins, evolution of Quality Function Deployment and its transfer to the West. Following a comprehensive review of the literature and how QFD has been defined, and applied, the paper analyses the critical factors which impinge on QFD implementation success. A discussion which covers the enabling criteria found to be inherent in Japanese applications is contrasted with the Western approaches documented hitherto. In particular the Company Wide Quality Control (CWQC) approach in Japan versus the emerging concept of Total Quality Management and their impact on QFD implementation. A critical analysis of the main differences isolated from the review of the literature and which characterise the Japanese method of QFD implementation which is leading, and The Western approaches which appear to be lagging is included in the paper, together with some useful conclusions:

  • Nowadays, mobile is one of the leading technique fields. So when the company considers adapting CRM$^1$ through using mobile, the company can establish customer's satisfaction more efficiently. However, it hasn't been much studied in this filed of mobile although there has been remarkable advancement research on the technical area. When it comes to CRM in Korea, CBM is developed at the world status on the technique as well as service. And companies are realizing the importance of emerging customers market on their market strategy, so they are trying to attract new customers and also fasten loyal customers. This research will make us foresee and follow m-CRM trend and also give the companies how companies make a module appropriately for their strategy towards m-CRM$^2$.

대웅제약의 지식경영 활성화 사례 (The Case of the Knowledge Management Activity of DAEWOONG Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd.)

  • It is well known in KM (Knowledge Management) literature that a certain amount of knowledge is necessary for KM to contribute corporate performance to some extent. However, It is considerably difficult for a company to amass knowledge due to limited time and lack of understanding from employees. In this respect, DAEWOONG, one of leading pharmaceutical company in korea, shows very special knowledge management activity, SOP(Sucess of project), by which DAEWOONG succeeds in catalyzing the knowledge sharing process among members and cultivating men of ability. Also, DAEWOONG improve working performance at an individual level as well as team level. This case will help understand how important the knowledge management activity is to improve the corporate performance.

건축설비용 워터햄머흡수기의 동특성에 관한 수치 연구 (A Numerical Study on the Dynamic Characteristics of Water Hammer Arresters for Building Service Applications)

  • Dynamic characteristics of water hammer arresters installed in a building water supply system have been investigated numerically by utilizing a commercial rode that employs the method of characteristics. Some preliminary results with those arresters produced in this study agree well with the previously reported. Then, the arresters have been incorporated into a water supply pipe system of a $59m^2$ apartment unit constructed by a leading construction company, and their dynamic characteristics, especially on the reduction in the water hammer pressure, are investigated. It is found that the setting of the arresters in the pipe system, which is recommended by the company, may not be proper for reducing the pressure to less than 1082.0 kPa when buick-closure valves in the pipe system are closed within 30 ms at the static pressure of 542.6 kPa. More arresters in the system may be required to meet a pressure criteria.

  • In the previous KM (Knowledge Management) studies, it has been repeatedly pointed that CoP (Community of Practice) should be used as a platform for boosting up corporate innovative activities. Despite this, it is very rare to find relevant literature in which real-world cases are introduced showing critical success factors, implemented strategies, and objective analysis of results. In this sense, main objective of this paper is very timely- to introduce a real-world CoP case in which POSCO, world-leading steel company, sorted out creative CoP strategies to nurture knowledge-sharing activities to solve various kinds of problems at hand, and maintain appropriate level of knowledge circulation throughout all the working units of company. In a nutshell, POSCO has been successful in any measure in utilizing the creative CoP activities as strategic means to change the paradigm of innovation and extract fruitful outcomes from integrating three important individual activities such as work, learning, and innovation.

  • A Shared Services center (SSC) is created by removing common administrative functions from operational divisions within an organization, and centralizing the functions in a separate centre. SSC helps supporting organizations to focus on core activities and to achieve cost reduction as well as service quality enhancement. In contrast to many leading global companies which has been adopted SSCs from early 90's. A Company's HR SSC which has opened this year is the first genuine SSC practice in Korea. Centering on the case of A Company' s HR SSC implementation, we discussed on some practical implications for companies which has future plan to introduce a shared service center.

건설기계 유압밸브 생산을 위한 일정계획 시스템 개발 (Development of Scheduling System for Production of the Hydraulic Control Valve of Construction Equipment)

  • The construction machine is the composite machine assembled by about 30,000 parts. Excavator, one kind of a construction machine, plays the leading role for export of construction equipment. It is generally impossible to produce all of the items within one company. Especially the supply of hydraulic control valves, one of the core part of the construction equipment, depends on the import heavily. So it is important to make an efficient production plan of hydraulic control valves in the company. The most important thing for the production scheduling of a hydraulic control valve is to make production schedule keeping the start date for assembly line for an excavator and to make minimization of the stock level. The production plan of hydraulic control valve includes the decision of the quantity supplied by subcontractor. This paper presents a scheme for a scheduling system of the hydraulic control valve considering the schedule of the assembly line for excavator production. This paper provides a methodology, which can make a plan of supply and production and generate a detailed schedule for daily production.
