This paper examines some relations on national crisis management and bioethics. This study stars to discuss that chance and risk of biotechnology which is the 21st century's pioneering core technology. This study reviews the traditional method that a nation(law) copes with the new scientific technique. The study also examines some difficulties of social agreement on the problems of bioethics because of nature of the rational disagreement. Then this paper attempts to incorporate the crisis of biotechnology, especially bioethics, in the system of national crisis management. this paper reviews the contents of the domestic "Act on Bioethics and Safety" on the side of the protection and restoration of crisis management. And this paper proposes some changes to manage the crisis of bioethics better, as it were, some problems of IRB and schems for improvement of it.

Character education is an important educational purpose in the current situation of secondary mathematics education. In the current mathematics curriculum, character education is mentioned in terms of core competencies. However, it is very difficult to concretely practice character education in secondary mathematics education. This paper examines the theoretical background of character education in the tradition of mathematics education, and suggests that mathematics is regarded as a practical tradition by the nature of mathematics from a value-intrinsic perspective. In this respect, mathematics education is defined as an intrinsic and nurturing character through long history of practice. This paper searched for an integrated approach to practicing character education in of secondary mathematics education, and argued that the teacher's personal approach including the class model approach of the human factors by an example of the exponential law a^maⁿ = a^m+n and the value-oriented activities according to the nature of the mathematics was the core.

This study aims to find the architectural concepts of Song-Sun and the spatial structure of the Myonangjong through kasa, sijo, and Chinese poems. He considered his place as a ideal place to dwell a secluded life which is surrounded by mountains, and opened to a field in front. That places is connected with geomancy or Feng Sui, and he attached great importance to placeness of the Myonangjong as a pavilion. As his place was called 'tyoro samgan', his place should be simple, and that was harmonized with nature. He regarded his place as a part of the outside space and its surrounding nature. As the pen name of Myonangjong shows that his way of life is very pure so he need not disgrace against the earth and the sky, he considered his building as a place of embodying the Confucian great law of heaven and earth. Myonangjong has a concentric circle structure of the scenery which is viewed panoramically along with the visual direction.

The Debreu-Gale-Nikaido theorem [2] is a potential tool to prove the existence of a market equilibrium price. Walras' law is of a quantitative nature (i.e. it measures the value of the total excess demand), and it is interesting to note that the existence result holds true under some qualitative assumptions. In fact, the Debreu-Gale-Nikaido theorem states that the continuity of the excess demand function and Walras' law has the following implication : For some price and corresponding value of the excess demand function, it is not possible to respond with a new price system such that the value at the new price of every element in the value of the demand function associated with the old price system is strictly positive.

A new control volume finite element method is proposed for three dimensional analysis of polymer flow. Tetrahedral finite element is employed and co-located interpolation procedure for pressure and velocity is implemented. Inclusion of pressure gradient term in the velocity shape functions prevents the checkerboard pressure field from being developed. Vectorial nature of pressure gradient is considered in the velocity shape function so that velocity profile in the limit of very small Reynolds number becomes physically meaningful. The proposed method was verified through three dimensional simulation of pipe flow problem for Newtonian and power-law fluid. Calculated pressure and velocity field showed an excellent agreement with analytic solutions for pressure and velocity. Driven-cavity problem, which is reported to yield checkerboard pressure filed when conventional finite element method is applied, could be solved without yielding checkerboard pressure field when the proposed control volume finite element method was applied. The proposed method could be successfully applied to the three dimensional mold filling problem.

Although the parties did not expressly incorporate Incoterms into their contracts, Incoterms which have reflected a generally authorized principles and custom might be a part of sale contract. As indication of Introduction in Incoterms 2000, although the D-terms are different in nature from the C-terms, since the seller according to the D-terms is responsible for the arrival of the goods at the agreed place or point of destination at the border or within the country of import. Therefore, according to importance of Incoterms, although Incoterms 2000 have been revised in line with the most current commercial practice, because mentioned problems in this paper can be raised, they must be revised through Introduction, Rules or Guide Book of Incoterms.

This paper has derived some problems relating to the use of letters of intent which are common occurrence in the international contracts after considering its nature and legal issues. As reviewed before, some problems may occur when a party has documented a stage in the negotiations by letters of intent. Such documents may well explicitly spell out if, and to what extent, the parties should be bound by what they have already agreed or to carry on negotiations in order to reach the final contract. But if the documents are silent, some problems would arise. Contracting parties are therefore well advised to spell out if, and to what extent, they should be bound by such preliminary agreements. Here again, it might be prudent to explicitly set forth that the parties should not be bound until there is a final written contract signed by authorized representatives of the parties but that they shall abstain from such measures which may defeat their stated objective to reach final agreement, for example, by diminishing the value of performance under the contemplated contract.

The wave nature of heat conduction has been developed in situations involving extreme thermal gradients, very short times, or temperatures near absolute zero. Under the excitation of a periodic surface heating in a finite medium, the hyperbolic and parabolic heat conduction equations and the damped wave equations in heat flux are presented for comparative analysis by using the Green's function with the integral transform technique. The Kummer transformation is also utilized to accelerate the rate of convergence of these solutions. On the other hand, the temperature distributions are obtained through integration of the energy conservation law with respect to time. For hyperbolic heat conduction, the heat flux distribution does not exist throughout all the region in a finite medium within the range of very short times(${\xi}<{\eta}_l$). It is shown that due to the thermal relaxation time, the hyperbolic heat conduction equation has thermal wave characteristics as the damped wave equation has wave nature.

Landscaping on building sites has been regulated by Building Code in Korea. By Article 42 of the Code, landscaping is mandated in the process of building construction and people should comply with the code to get the building permit. On the other hand, sustainability tends to be a prime value these days. Because of the intrinsic nature of Korea Building Code, the landscaping was not adequately implemented in reality. After studies on the landscape ordinance, the major problems on the mandated landscaping has been speculated as follows: 1. As far as landscaping has been regulated by single building code, there seems to be a limitation. Urban Planning Code etc. would be another mean to adequate landscaping. 2. Speculations on landscape details associated with landscape plans are needed for building permit process. 3. By any level of law, the landscape should be reinforced for public buildings and developments because of its own publicity. 4. Locally sound landscape would be implemented through Special Architectural District etc.

This paper presents a novel control methodology for communication network based nonlinear systems with time delay nature. We construct a nominal nonlinear control law for representing a linear model and a reset control system which is aimed for corrective control strategy to compensate system error due to uncertain time delay through wireless communication network. Next, online neural control approach is proposed for overcoming nonstationary statistical nature in the network topology. Additionally, DBN (Dynamic Bayesian Network) technique is accomplished for modeling of its dynamics in terms of casuality, which is then utilized for estimating prediction of system output. We evaluate superiority and reliability of the proposed control approach through numerical simulation example in which a nonlinear inverted pendulum model is employed as a networked control system.
