소수의 풍력발전기에 의한 해상관제 레이더 간섭 영향 (Effect of Maritime Traffic Control Radar Interference by a small number of Wind Turbines)

  • 본 논문에서는 해상에 설치되는 풍력발전기에 의한 해상 관제 레이더의 간섭 여부를 분석하는 방법론을 제시하고, 군산항 인근 해역에 설치되는 소수의 풍력발전기에 의한 해상 관제 레이더의 간섭 여부를 분석하였다. 레이더 간섭 분석은 ray 기반의 전자기 해석 프로그램을 이용하였으며, 고도 정보를 포함하는 수치지형도, 풍력발전기 도면 및 파도를 포함하는 해수면을 전자기 해석 프로그램에 맞게 변환하여 주변 지형과 풍력발전기에 의한 영향을 반영하였다. 분석 결과 대규모 풍력발전단지가 아닌 소수의 풍력발전기의 설치는 해상 관제 레이더의 운용에 심각한 영향이 없는 것으로 분석된다.

Can a nanofluid enhance the critical heat flux if the recirculating coolant contains debris?

  • In-vessel corium retention (IVR) during external reactor vessel cooling (ERVC) is a key severe accident management strategy adopted in advanced nuclear power plants. The injection of nanofluids has been regarded as a means of enhancing CHF when using the IVR-ERVC strategy to safeguard high-power nuclear reactors. However, a critical practical concern is that various types of debris flowing from the contaminant sump during operation of an ERVC system might degrade CHF enhancement by nanofluids. Our objective here was to experimentally assess the viability of nanofluid use to enhance CHF in practical ERVC contexts (e.g., when fluids contain various types of debris). The types and characteristics of debris expected during IVR-ERVC were examined. We performed pool boiling CHF experiments using nanofluids containing these types of debris. Notably, we found that debris did not cause any degradation of the CHF enhancement characteristics of nanofluids. The nanoparticles are approximately 1000-fold smaller than the debris particles; the number of nanoparticles in the same volume fraction is 1 billion-fold greater. Nanofluids increase CHF via porous deposition of nanosized particles on the boiling surface; this is not hindered by extremely large debris particles.

우리나라 비상사태시 소요물동량 및 선종별 소요선대 추정 연구 (A Study on the Estimation of Required Seaborne Trade Volume and Carrier Volume of Each Vessel Type in Case of Emergency)

  • The maritime industry is important for Korean international trade, as more than 99 percent of its imports and exports are moved by maritime transportation. However, if maritime transportation is stopped in the event of an emergency, such as war or natural disaster, there is a danger that imports and exports may cease abruptly. Coping with this risk is why the Ministry of Oceans and Fisheries, manages the 'National Necessary Shipping System.' This system requires that the government estimates the size of ships necessary in the case of an emergency, and the ships designated as National Necessary Vessels should transport goods in the case of actual emergencies. This study seeks to estimate the appropriate size of ships required in an emergency using the latest data and applying a quantitative methodology. This study provides useful reference materials for policy authorities. In particular, it is meaningful that this study estimates the required number of ships of each vessel type, reflecting the recent trend of large-scale ships and expanding global trade.

Assessment of CATHARE code against DEC-A upper head SBLOCA experiments

  • Design Extension Conditions (DEC)-A assessments of the operating nuclear power plants are generally considered for the purpose of getting additional safety demonstrations of their capability to undergo conditions that are generally more severe than DBAs by features implemented in the design and accident management measures. The pursued methodology is generally based upon Best Estimate approaches aiming at verifying that the safety limits in terms of integrity of the barriers against eventual large or early releases of radioactive material are fulfilled. These aspects are nowadays being experimentally and analytically addressed within the OECD/NEA experimental projects like the ATLAS and PKL series where a set of DEC-A experiments are considered. In this paper, experiments related to SBLOCA at the vessel upper head of the pressurized vessel of ATLAS and PKL are analytically assessed using the CATHARE code. These experiments includes issues related to common cause failure of the safety injection system and operator actions for preventing core excessive overheating. It is shown that, on the one hand, the safety features embedded in the design together with the operator actions are capable to prevent the progression towards a severe accident state and on the other hand, the code prediction capabilities for such scenario are generally good but still to be enhanced.

해상풍력단지의 효율적인 유지보수를 위한 최적 비용 산출 연구 (Research on optimal cost calculation for efficient maintenance of offshore wind farms)

  • This paper aims to perform optimal operation and maintenance with an integrated monitoring system for offshore wind platforms. Based on the wind direction and wind speed data of existing wind farms, a monitoring system was established along with weather and weather data to maximize the operational efficiency of wind farms. Compared to wind power on land, offshore wind power is difficult to maintain due to weather, logistics and geographical limitations. Therefore, economic analysis of actual operation and maintenance is essential for large-scale offshore wind farms. In this paper, the availability of offshore wind farms was analyzed by using personnel resources, parts inventory, Crew Transfer Vessel (CTV) and Specialized service Operation Vessel (SOV) etc. before the actual operation and maintenance of wind farms. A comparative analysis was conducted to determine the optimum operating efficiency and economical maintenance costs.

  • 본 논문은 윈치드럼과 함께 구성되어 있는 수중 케이블의 거동을 해석하기 위해 개발된 조출 모델링을 소개한다. 케이블의 수중 거동은 장력만 영향을 준다고 가정한다. 이러한 가정은 직진 거동을 하는 함정에 의해 예인되는 수중 케이블 거동을 해석하는데 적합하다. 수중 케이블은 절점 위치유한 요소법으로 차분한다. 이 수치기법은 기하학적 비선형성을 표현할 수 있기 때문에 대변형을 동반하는 수중 케이블의 거동 예측에 적합하다고 알려져 있다. 본 논문은 실제 역 실험에서 계측된 수중 예인케이블의 심도 정보를 활용하여 수치 기법의 타당성을 확보한다.

Drug-Coated Balloon Treatment for De Novo Coronary Lesions: Current Status and Future Perspectives

  • The outstanding development in contemporary medicine, highlighted by percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI), was achieved through the adoption of drug-eluting stents (DESs). Although DES is the established therapy for patients undergoing PCI for de novo coronary artery disease (CAD), their drawbacks include restenosis, stent thrombosis, and the requirement for dual antiplatelet therapy (DAPT) with an uncertain duration regarding its optimality. Drug-coated balloon (DCB) treatment leaves nothing behind on the vessel wall, providing the benefit of avoiding stent thrombosis and not necessitating obligatory extended DAPT. After optimizing coronary blood flow, DCB treatment delivers an anti-proliferative drug directly coated on a balloon. Although more evidence is needed for the application of DCB treatment in de novo coronary lesions, recent studies suggest the safety and effectiveness of DCB treatment for diverse conditions including small and large vessel diseases, complex lesions like bifurcation lesions or diffuse or multivessel diseases, chronic total occlusion lesions, acute myocardial infarctions, patients at high risk of bleeding, and beyond. Consequently, we will review the current therapeutic choices for managing de novo CAD using DCB and assess the evidence supporting their concurrent application. Additionally, it aims to discuss future important perspectives.

선체운동학적으로 본 충돌회피동작에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Ship`s Collision Avoiding Action Analyzed from a Viewpoint of Ship Kinematics)

  • 국제해상충돌예방규칙(International Regulations for Preventing Collision at Sea) 제 15조, 제 16조 및 제 17조는 횡단상태에 있는 선박들의 피항방법에 대해서 지시하고 있으나, 피항선이 피항동작을 취할 안전한계접근거리에 대해서는 전혀 언급이 없으므로 본 논문에서는 이 거리를 선체운동학적으로 해석하여 이에 대한 산출식을 도출하였다. 실선시험에서 소형 및 대형선의 조종성지수를 구하고, 이를 산출식에 적용하여 안전한계접근거리를 계산하였다. 이 결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 1. 소형선 및 대형선을 막론하고 가장 큰 거리를 두고 피항동작에 들어가야 하는 경우는 양선박이 조우하는 침로교각이 90$^{\circ}$부근의 각도이며, 안전한계 접근거리는 소형선(200~300 ton급 선박)에서는 자선길이의 약 5배 이상, 대형선(100,000 ton급 선박)에서는 자선 길이의 약 11배 이상이 되어야 한다. 2. 양선박이 조우하는 침로교각이 크게 둔각인 경우에는 적은 예각인 경우보다 충돌의 위험이 더 크므로, 더 큰 거리를 두고 피항동작에 들어가야 하며, 특히 대형선인 경우에는 주의를 요한다. 3. 국제해상충돌예방규칙 제 16조의 피항선의 동작은 물론, 동 제 17조 a항(ii)호의 유지선의 피항동작도 위의 안전한계접근거리 밖에서 이루어져야하며, 부득이 안전한계접근거리이내에서 피항동작을 취할 때는 주기관의 동작이 반드시 수반되어야 한다. 4. 횡단상태에 있는 양선박간에 피항선이 변침만으로 피항동작을 취하는 경우 본 논문에서 계산한 각침로교각에 대한 안전한계거리를 미리 염두에 두고 피항조선을 하게되면 감각에 의한 조선방법으로 야기되는 충동해난사고를 지양할 수 있으리라 생각된다.형군이 방음할 때 대형군의 주음률(44~98%)이 높았다. 중소형군(각폭 8.5~15.0cm)까지는 암컷이 방음할 때 수컷의 주음률(88~100%)은 암컷의 주음률(56~91%)보다 높은 편이며, 수컷이 방음할 때 수컷의 주음률(19~63%)보다 암컷의 주음률(66~100%)이 높은 편이었다. 염지하거나 맛사징 처리하여 pork cutlet를 제조하면 냉동 돈육 등심의 소비 촉진에 기여할 수 있다고 판단되었다.p<0.001) 여학생의 경우 남학생에 비하여 운동량과 운동시간이 짧게 나타났다. 체중에 대한 만족도를 보면 남학생 40.0%, 여학생은 13.6%가 만족한다고 하였고(p<0.001) 체중조절의 방법에 있어서는 운동으로 한다는 응답이 남학생은 64.4%, 여학생은 43.2%로 유의적인 차이가 없었다. 7. 조사대상자의 골밀도 BQI간과 제요인과의 상관관계를 살펴보았을 때, 운동시간, 식사의 규칙성, 콩식품, 육류, 차 등의 섭취빈도, 편식과 다이어트 및 우유, 해조류, 인스턴트 식품 섭취 등의 요인과는 유의적인 상관관계를 보이지 않았으며, 영양 보충제의 경우 남학생군에서 유의적인 양의 상관관계(p<0.05)를 나타내었다. 본 연구에서 대학신입생의 골밀도에 미치는 영향 요인은 뚜렷하게 나타나지 않았다. 그러나 대학생의 시기는 여전히 골질량의 형성이 가능하므로 건강한 골격을 형성하고 유지하기 위해서 균형된 식사, 적정 체중의 유지 및 골격에 하중을 가하는 운동을 지속적으로 하는 개개인의 노력과 관심이 중요하다 하겠다.EX>$10^4$ cfu/mL)분포하고 있는 것으로 동정되었다.bamboo weir, the eddy out of the left wing was comparatively big and the current

  • Generally, in shipbuilding, large curved block components which have large curvature radius along various directions are used for huge ships such as LPG-vessel and oil tanker ships. Lots of the blocks are manufactured by line heating method which uses a heat source to bend the thick plate materials. The conventional forming process is entirely dependent on the experience of experts because it is done by manual method thus the curvatures and qualities are not uniform even for same part. However, it is hard to adopt the press forming process using die tool sets fur the manufacturing because of the characteristics of the industry that based on the small quantity and variety in the products. In this study, flexible forming technology using numbers of punches is investigated based on the simulation to substitute for the conventional forming method. Thick plate material model was applied to the proposed process to verify the feasibility for hull structure block forming process. The press forming processes were simulated by adopting the explicit-to-implicit sequential solution. Moreover, experiment of the flexible forming process was also conducted and its results were compared with that of simulation.

병렬 계류된 모바일하버의 운동응답 및 계류 해석 (Motion Response and Mooring Analysis of Mobile Harbors Moored in Side-by-side)

  • Recently, since there are several problems in space, the infra-structure and the facilities in the contiguity of the existing harbors due to the trend of enlarging the container capacity of the large container vessel, a special floating platform named as the Mobile Harbor has been proposed conceptually as an effective solution of those problems. Two kinds of hull shapes, a conventional mono-hull type and a catamaran type, are proposed as midway feeders to transfer containers to the harbor on land from a large container ship on near shore. In this study, the motion response and mooring analysis are carried out for comparing the global performance of two types of Mobile Harbor. Robot arm mooring facility specially is devised and newly tried to use for the safe fixation of a large container ship and the Mobile Harbor on near shore. It would be expected for this comparison study to give a guideline to design the efficient hull form for a midway loader.
