  • Joint overseas expansion could contribute domestic large enterprises and small/medium-sized enterprises to expand overseas construction market by complementing each other's vulnerabilities and weaknesses. To invigorate it, not only does mutual effort between both parties matter, but also providing motivation such as institutional incentives and compensations are important for inducing large enterprises to voluntarily expand overseas construction with small/medium-sized enterprises. However, institutional systems exist only to promote win-win growth limited to domestic construction except for overseas construction. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to establish cooperation evaluation system between domestic large enterprises and small/medium-sized enterprises for invigorating joint overseas expansion by evaluating large enterprises cooperation efforts, and offering incentives to some enterprises gaining a good grade. The developed system could contribute to effectively promote win-win growth by providing institutional guidelines. In other words, The government could induce large enterprises cooperation efforts to some parts which small/medium-sized enterprises need, and large enterprises could selectively and intensively support insufficient cooperation part based on the evaluation result.

Efficient win-win growth for large and mid-sized enterprises is essential for acquiring a solid global competitiveness in IT service industry. However, previous studies lack generalized and detailed findings, and therefore past strategies were based on fragmented analysis. To develop an efficient win-win growth for Large and mid-sized enterprises, global benchmarking and an in-depth analysis on deep-rooted problems in IT service industry has been conducted. Past and present policies on IT service industry have been reviewed based on desirable co-growth structure. Based on research, current policies are unable to support co-growth, and collaborative efforts between Large and mid-sized enterprises as well as square deals are necessary for win-win growth. A new policy paradigm has been derived and a roadmap for efficient co-growth strategy has been suggested. The results of this research can be used for building a better IT service industry polices. In future studies, a longitudinal analysis on the proposed co-growth strategy can be conducted.

  • This study aimed to analyze influencing factors to increase the wage differential between large enterprise and subcontracted small-medium enterprises by using panel data composed of 19 manufacturing industries for 16 years from 1999 to 2014. According to the results of analysis, in large enterprises the elasticity of substitution between the labor inputs and the subcontracted product supplies from small-medium enterprises was significantly less than 1. So, the increase in wages of workers of large enterprises, whose degree of employment protection was relatively high, seemed to increase the share of wage cost in total cost and was resulted to decrease the cost share of subcontracted product supplies significantly. This was interpreted to be able to exert a negative influence upon the price of subcontracted product supplies and the wages of workers in subcontracted small-medium enterprises, and, therefore, to increase the wage differentials between large enterprises and subcontracted small-medium enterprises. Furthermore, it was also found that the increases in the labor union participation rate at large enterprises and the openness rate of the industry concerned were contributing to make such effects much stronger significantly. In order to mitigate the wage differentials and the polarizing trend in labor market, we can suggest to establish a certain kind of flexible wage system and to introduce co-bargaining practices with the workers of subcontracted small-medium enterprises within large enterprises, and also for the workers of small-medium enterprises, to prepare new social systems to upgrade their human resources and job skills drastically.

  • The need for win-win cooperation between small and medium-sized enterprises and large corporations is emphasized. For the sustainable growth of a healthy industry, the attractive parts of large companies and the capabilities of small and medium-sized enterprises must be harmonized and shared. It was also examined what items large companies should consider in selecting small and medium-sized enterprises as a partner. In the case of food producers, when considering safety issues, a comprehensive safety system should be established, not just a single factor. And cooperation is expected between small and medium-sized enterprises and other partners with new technologies such as AI, IoT, 3D printers and 5G technology. It is suggested that corporate development can be achieved by various models through win-win cooperation between large companies and small and medium-sized enterprises.

It is required for these companies to modify and improve the safety-related articles and it is peformed to compare and analyze the industrial disasters and safety management systems between large enterprises and small-to-medium enterprises. The basic direction of change of industrial safety healthy system must be classified to the dual direction. For large enterprises, it is focused on not pre-regulations but post-regulations based on the self-control safety management system. But for small-to-medium enterprises, it is required to intensify the safety management system and the safety responsibility for owners or administrators. Specially, the responsibility for disaster must be more strengthened by the penalty and the insurance method, and then it must be performed not only the financial support of government but also middle and long-term technical support by private safety organizations.
