To understand the biological characteristics of Corythucha ciliata occurring in Korea, developmental periods and its susceptibility to several insecticides were examined under growth chamber condition at $25^{\circ}C$. It took 11.1 day from egg to hatch. And duration of each stage up to the 5th nymph after hatching was 4.0, 2.1, 2.0, 2.9, and 4.0 days, respectively. Total duration from egg to adult was 26.1 days, preoviposition period was 12.2 days, and average number of eggs laid by a female was 83.0. Sex ratio of female was 51.6% and lifespan of female adult was 43.2% days. LC50 value of deltamethrin and esfenvalerate were 0.8 and 0.9 ppm, respectively. Insecticidal effects were better in pyrethroids than organophosphates and carbamates.

History of fashion and clothing is needed to understand modern fashion and to predict Future mode. The period of Romanticism in fine arts was from the end 18th century up to the first half of 19th century. The characteristics of shilouttes were found in the emphasis owomen's body line. This feature of romantic fashion is founded in 1960, 1970, 1980, 1990'mode. Major characters of this times are retro of romantic costume. As time goes by, more romantic fashion was set up and new corncern of 2000 fashion trend. The Characteristics of romantic image in 2000 of fashion trend are the emphasis of romantic details and decorations. Such as ruffle, frill, shirring, beads, spangle, sequin, flower. Trend colors are pink, lilac, aqua blue, yellow, green, pastel color. Trend materials chiffon, organza, satin, velvet, gauze, georgette, lace and glittery material. And floral print and stripe print. Forward­looking fashion is ethnic­romantic image influenced India. Trend and fashion have very close relationship and if it is fully comprehended, it will be good opportunity to awkardness againnst new fashion line.

최근 흥미있는 이물 3례를 경험하였으며 수술후 경과는 모두 좋았기에 보고하는 바이다. 증예 1 : 20세된 남자에서 오발된 총알이 기관 및 식도를 관통하여 제일흉추에 박혀 있었다. 증예 2 : 1년 5개월된 남아의 기관 분기부에 걸려 있었던 52cm 길이의 금속성 목걸이, 증예 3 : 17세된 남자에서 식도제일협착부의 식도벽에 꽂혀있던 pin.

The purpose of this research is to study the cause of obstruction in various knit pattern structures by understanding the needs of the customers, and to develop knitted fabric goods that satisfy the individual taste of consumers and that reflecting the latest fashions. Actual conditions of the manufacturer's designing processes must be examined. In addition, a comparison analysis of fashion sensibilities and preferences between producers and consumers had been made in order to study developing knit pattern structures. Questionnaires and interviews had been used as research methods. The research involved two groups: one group consisted of 57 producers, which included designers, programmers, and merchandisers working for a knit manufacturer in Seoul, while the other group consisted of 74 consumers, which included students with knitted fabric design as their major and those who have working knowledge of knitted fabrics. For a more accurate evaluation, 28 out of 150 patterns have been selected through a preliminary study conducted by 24 designers. On the 28 knit patterns, a sensibility evaluation had been made through the use of the sense of sight and sense of touch, which was followed by a frequency analysis, cluster analysis, and t-test using SPSS 12.0. The results are as follows: the fashion sensibility evaluation on knit patterns showed that structures, such as racking II or lace II, are typically elegant ('elegance'), while structures, such as links I or racking I, are typically 'active.' Furthermore, a 'country' image was displayed in structures such as cable I, cable II, and miss II. Links I appeared as 'sophisticated'. Miss I and milano were said to have 'modem' images. Lace II was regarded as 'ethnic', while racking II was said to have a 'romantic' image. 2:1 rib and milano were generally thought to be manly ('manish'). The fashion sensibility scale for each knit pattern has been made based on the above results. Based on producer and consumer responses, the sensibility evaluation on knit pattern structures showed that the two groups had similar preferences in knit pattern structures. Therefore, the fashion sensibility scale developed in this study can be used as a basic data for structure development when designing knitted fabric goods.

우리나라에서 발생하고 있는 버즘나무의 주요 해충인 버즘나무 방패벌레의 효과적인 방제를 위해 개발된 신규 합성물질과 기존 나무 해충 방제용 약제인 Carbaryl과 Pirimicarb의 방제효과를 검정하였다. 신규 합성물질의 48시간 경과 후의 방제율이 성충과 약충 각각 98.9%와 97.5%로서 기존 살충제인 Carbaryl의 84.6% 및 85.6%, Pirimicarb의 83.0% 및 90.7% 보다 높았으며, 실험 약제에 대한 감수성 조사 결과에서 신규 합성 물질의 LC$_{50}$값이 1.5 ppm으로 가장 낮아 역시 방제효과가 가장 좋은 것으로 조사되었으며, 다음이 Carbaryl이 3.7 ppm, Pirimicarb이 30.4 ppm순으로 살충효과를 나타내었다.

농촌진흥청 국립원예특작과학원에서는 2008년 진분홍색 반겹꽃 프리지아 신품종 육성을 위한 목적으로 2000년에 'Michelle'과 'Rossini' 조합의 실생계통인 'Pink Jewel'과 'White Lace' 품종을 교배하여 진분홍색 반겹꽃, 다화성 품종 'Happy Birthday'를 개발하였다. 2000년 2월 교배하여 종자를 획득하였으며, 실생으로부터 파종 7개월 후 화색이 선명한 진분홍색 반겹꽃 다화성 우수개체를 1차로 선발하였다. 2003년부터 2007년까지 5년에 걸쳐 생육특성 및 수량 검정을 실시하였으며 안정성, 균일성, 초세, 절화수명, 및 구근 증식력이 우수하다고 판단되어 2008년 농작물 직무육성 신품종선정위원회의 심의를 거쳐 'Happy Birthday'로 명명하였다. 'Happy Birthday'는 진분홍색(RHS, RP66C) 다화성 반겹꽃 품종이다. 화형이 매우 안정되어 있고 초세가 강하며 잎과 꽃대가 직립하는 성질을 갖고 있다. 절화 수확량은 평균 6.7개로 매우 많고 개화소요일수는 대비품종에 비해 다소 빠르다. 구근 증식량이 많으며 국내 시설재배 환경에 적합한 품종이다.

The purpose of this thesis is to discuss corsets that represent an undergarment that later became a popular outerwear. It discusses its forms and distinct characteristics to help create a unique fashion design and its execution. The scope of this study is limited to works from the 1990s to the present, and the materials for the literatures and exploratory study are fashion-related portfolios and the domestic and foreign fashion magazines. The results of this study are summarized as follows: The standard look of corsets in modern fashion can be classified into styles of glamour, revival, and dismantle. The materials used vary from traditional fabrics such as satin or lace to newly developed materials such as metal or glass. Its presentation can also differ in that it may be used as an accessory with additional details, as an outerwear, as an extra decorative layer, or as a revealing innerwear by open outerwear. Characteristics of these various looks of corsets are; first, it redefines the revival of the traditional corsets through introduction of its historic elements and its compromise. Second, glamorous and feminine images are maximized through drastic and direct exposure by using tight lacing, a waist nipper or garter belts that emphasize a woman's curve. Third, it represents borderless dismantlement through experimental and irregular images using unconventional materials, new execution techniques, or alteration from the standard forms.

The object of this study was to identify the production technique and immediate constituent of lingerie by examining the materials and the sewing techniques. Various papers are referenced for theoretical study and the elements and techniques of lingerie are analyzed based on photographical materials. From the late 20C century to the present time was the research time period. This paper concludes as follows: 1 Decorative method: Lace, Ribbons, piping, elastic bands were some of the decorative materials attached to the garments by zigzag stitch. 2. Flat pattern making: Lingerie patterns were drafted in smaller size than the patterns of outer garments. Bias cut would be applied for the noll-stretchable fabrics. 3. Draping: Bias grain would be applied for the non-stretch fabric. When draping stretch fabrics, follow the grain line of the fabrics and pull the fabric so that it could fit onto the body. 4. Production technique: Straight stitch would be applied for non-stretch fabrics. Zigzag stitch would be applied for stretch fabrics.

The purpose of study examined of historical changes of western men's nightclothes from middle ages to the modern ages and analyzed functions and features of men's nightclothes. This study presented meaning and importance of men's nightclothes. The method of study researched the many literatures and internet sources. Until medieval age, men slept naked or in a day-shirt. In the 16th century, a nightshirt was worn in bed. A night-cap was usual, in rather more elaborate form, also worn by day in the house, and even outdoors. In the 17th century, nightshirt was elabrated with ruffles and lace. The nightshirts of 18th century, resembled the day-shirt except that it was slightly longer and fuller in cut. The turn of 19th century, men weared nightshirt with a high folding collar, one button and night-cap of jellybag shape. In the early 19th century, nightshirt had a plain turned-down collar, buttoned at the neck. A night-cap with colored tassel was usual. The middle of 19th century, a nightgown was reaching to the ankle. Pyjamas, in the 1890s, were steadily replacing the nightshirt, before long pyjamas had become generally accepted in place of the nightshirt. A pyjamas which preseverved his male dignity by giving him trousers. Man's ingenuity also modified his nigntclothes so that these took on sexual characteristic. In 20th century, the fabrics had become lighter in weight, and the choice of materials wider. By 1930s, nightclothes had become the man's most colorful garment.

The purpose of this study is to investigate the social and cultural background of hand-knitting things with handcraft feeling which is appeared conspicuously after 2000. And to analyze the types and characteristics of hand-knit design. The resorts of this study is as follows: First, it is found that the pattern of stitch in their forms and ornament technique of handcraft feeling are the remarkable factors to decide the specific designs in the most of hand-knit designs. The major forms are plain stitch, rib stitch, cable stitch, lace stitch, relief stitch and pile stitch and the ornament techniques such as patch work, fringe, embroidery and collage are being widely used. Second, after 2000, due to peoples' preference for handcraft feeling manufactures, pursuit trend of artless luxury by retouch appeared, it made feeling for recurrence of the past and the warm humanity. In addition, the pro-eco trend using pro-environment materials and capturing the nature as images are on its way to advance. Through the mix & match of materials, details and items, it becomes possible to express many kinds of images. Thanks to those characteristics, the hand-knit designs are now acknowledged as luxurious with the couture sense attached and are shaking off their previous image of recycling.
