This test comprises of 6 categories of competence: self-management, global readiness, interpersonal relationship, resource/information/technology handling, communication and comprehensive reasoning. In addition to these competences, we add the comprehensive variable, grade point average. In order to identify the qualities of employment, employment was classified into 3 types: all employment, employment in decent jobs and employment in the top 500 companies. Results are as follows: For all employment and decent jobs, GPA and comprehensive reasoning were the meaningful variables. However in case of the top 500 companies, interpersonal relationship was added. • This study analyzes educational panel on the relationship between college life and job satisfaction of women college graduates. Higher college satisfaction increases job satisfaction of women workers with college degrees. Job training programs increase job satisfaction. However, job satisfaction relative to her skills and competency becomes lower when they complete a number of job training programs. Moreover, English education and job training programs exert positive influences over the effects of college satisfaction on job satisfaction of women workers with college degrees. Thus, although there are conflicting aspects, job training programs have potentials to contribute to the job satisfaction. The results of the study suggest that college life is closely related with their job experiences. However, Korean society neglects the importance of college relative to four-year university. Thus, Korean society exerts efforts toward enhancing the educational quality of college education.

  • Adoption of mobile learning (m-learning) is not new in Malaysian oil and gas industry, with heavy investment into research and development to train the workers. Nevertheless, the low application of learnt skills on the job remains an emergent research area where there is a missing link on the effects of m-learning and effective organisational learning and implication on its training transfer. The result of this quantitative research revealed that all variables in m-learning were found to have a positive relationship with the effective organisational learning, and there is evidence of training transfer as a mediator of the relationship between self-directed learning, training design, work environment and effective organisational learning. However, there were some discrepancies in the extend of training transfer between trainee characteristics and organisational learning. As such, some important issues emerged which challenge the importance of evaluating workers' readiness and transfer for a successful implementation of m-learning towards developing effective organisational learning.

  • In this study, a survey was conducted to determine the understanding by teachers at KIPO-funded high schools of the specialized training of invention patent personnel. The subjects were 4 high schools and 126 copies of questionnaires were collected for analysis. The results of this study are as follows. First, teachers understand that it is particularly important to provide a specialized training for students so that they can more effectively adapt to the changes in their lives. They also consider basic job skills training, moral education and job readiness training as equally important. Second, they recognize the necessity for a specialized training of invention patent personnel. Third, they think that redundant teachers arising from the reform of the curriculum for specialized training should be provided with minor training. Fourth, they think that the reform of the curriculum for specialized training should consider the following aspects: the development of a curriculum for invention patent-specialized high schools, the strengthening of administrative financial supports, the creation of a consensus among those involved for the success of the specialized training, the development of textbooks and materials, and the consideration of the future prospects and current conditions of the invention patent industry. Fifth, they think that the successful operation of specialized high schools requires the consideration of the following factors: users' understanding, conformance, selection & concentration and uniqueness.
