Research Trends and Its Determinants in Mobile Commerce Research (1999-2012)

  • This paper wanted to find out research trends and its determinants on mobile commerce research reviewing 439 articles from 1999, the starting year of this field to 2012. Our analytical framework has 4 categories such as general, technology, consumer and firm, and 14 sub-categories. The results are as follows: First, studies on mobile commerce can be divided into 5 stages. Second, trends of mobile commerce are closely related to the evolution of mobile technologies such as communication technologies and devices (2G, 3G, 3G+, 4G LTE, LTE-A). Third, this field was led by USA until 2005 and has been led by Taiwan after 2006. Fourth, China, Korea, UK and Canada are also leading countries, all of which have mobile device manufacturers. Research trends of non-manufacturing countries and manufacturing countries are different from each other. In addition, the trends of leading countries are different from each other reflecting each country's business needs.

도심 비즈니스호텔 개발사업의 투자결정요인에 관한 연구 (An analysis on the Investment Determinants for Urban Business Hotel Development)

  • 최근 한국을 찾는 관광객이 급격한 증가로 비즈니스호텔의 수요가 확대되며 부동산 투자대상으로서 관심이 증가하고 있으나,이러한 개발사업의 투자결정에 영향을 미치는 요인과 기준이 불분명한 실정이다. 이에 본 연구에서는 계층적분석기법과 퍼지기법을 활용하여 투자결정에 영향을 미치는 요인들을 투자자의 관점에서 조사하고자 한다. 따라서 투자자를 직접투자자와 간접투자자로 구분하여 차이점을 비교분석하고 이를 기준으로 실제 수행된 개발사례를 평가하여 시사점을 도출하였다. 분석결과, 투자결정기준별 중요도로 '보행/교통 접근성', '객실 점유율 및 실당 매출액', '외래 관광객 수와 관광업계 현황 등이 높게 나타났으며, 투자형태별로는 직접투자 경우가 금융구조 조건이나 투자리스크 항목들이 높게 나타나 자기자본을 투자하는 직접투자자는 외부자본으로 투자하는 간접투자기구 운용사 대비, 금융 및 투자조건 관련사항을 중시하며, 간접투자의 경우 입지 현황 및 사회입지적 환경과 관련한 항목들이 높게 형성되어 간접투자 특성상 투자자 모집을 위한 부동산의 환경과 가치에 더욱 중점을 두는 것으로 나타났다. 또한, 사례분석결과, 직접투자가 실제 투자에 따른 금융 보강이라는 측면에서 임차인의 신용도에 민감하며 자기자본을 투자해야 하는 특성상 간접투자보다 보수적으로 투자대상을 파악하는 것으로 나타났다.

2013 강릉단오제 관광객의 소비지출 결정요인에 관한 연구 (Determinants of Tourist Expenditure on 2013 Gangneung Dano Festival)

  • 본 논문은 다중회귀모형을 이용하여 강릉단오제 관광객의 소비지출의 결정요인을 분석하였다. 소비지출의 결정요인을 소득, 직업 등 12개 설명변수로 종속변수는 총 지출 및 5개의 항목별 지출로 설정하여 분석하였다. 논문의 주요 분석결과로 소득은 관광소비의 중요한 결정요인이며 소득이 소비에 양(+)의 효과를 준다는 사실이 입증되었다. 둘째, 나이가 많고 수도권 거주 관광객일수록 전체 및 항목별 소비지출이 증가하는 경향이 있다. 셋째, 동반인수가 많을수록 소비지출은 감소한다. 넷째, 참가일 수와 체류기간은 소비지출에 양(+)의 효과를 준다. 남자이며 기혼이고 자비 숙박 관광객일수록 소비지출은 증가한다. 다섯째, 항목별 소비지출의 결정요인으로 소득과 같은 공통적인 변수도 있으나 항목별 소비지출의 고유한 특성을 반영하는 차별적인 결정요인이 있는 것으로 추정된다. 본 논문은 지역경제 및 관광산업의 활성화를 위한 효율적인 관광전략을 도출하는 데 기초자료로 활용될 것으로 기대된다.

어선원의 직업만족과 이직의도에 영향을 미치는 제요인에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Determinants of Fishermen's Work Satisfaction and Turnover Intention)

  • The sustained economic growth cannot be expected without the balanced development in all the realms of industries. Korea has recorded the continuous high growth rate of economy, but it is now facing some difficulties in keeping the normal economic growth, because industrial workers do not like to work in some fields, the typical one of which is the fishery works. This thesis aims at studying the determinants of fishermen's job satisfaction(FJS) and the determinants of affecting the fishermen's trunover intention(FTI) to obtain and maintain the man power for fishing boats. This study assumes that the determinants which affact FJS are fishermen's work values, job characteristics, the attitude of accepting their fishery work, and that the determinants which affect FTI are FJS and their perceptions of labor market. This study concerns two kinds of Job satisfaction : one is an intrinsic satisfaction which comes directly from the work itself, and the other is an extrinsic satisfaction comes from the compensation for the work, but in this study “Pollnac's work satisfaction factor” is added as an additional determinant of FJS. There is a difference in job satisfactions between the individuals who have different work values. Some feel more satisfacttion than the others, which can be explained by the internal work values which assume the work is only a means for another objective of life. This study applies Hackman and 014ham's studies to the job characteristics that a worker's job satisfaction is positively related to the core job characteristis of the job. In addition, this study transformed their studies into variables. A job enrichment to reduce the simplicity of a work and make it more valueable can increase a job satisfaction, but an existing organization has limitation in redesigning the job for its enrichment. A reasonable answer about this matter can be obtained from the workers' subjective perceptins to highly regard the objective job characteristics. Worker's previews of fishery work also affect their job satisfaction because they are already informed of the details and charcteristics of the job that they have to carry out. A Job dissatisfaction causes their intention to leave jobs owing to general perceptions prevailing in labor markets.

인터넷쇼핑몰에서 e-Trust 결정요인에 관한 연구 - 수입대행몰과 일반쇼핑몰 비교를 중심으로 - (An Empirical Study on the Determinants of e-Trust in Internet Shopping Mall -Focuse on Comparing Import Agency Service Mall with General Internet Shopping Mall-)

  • Import Agency Service Mall, which provide customers not only with convenient shopping experiences but also with purchasing, warehousing, shipping, and customs clearance services, have been playing a significant role in rapidly transforming Korean consumers into global consumers. The consumers' great demand for foreign goods(services) created Import Agency Service Mall(referred to hereafter as IASM) as a new business model of distribution and consumption, which seems to grow rapidly. Accordingly, this study examined the e-Trust by analyzing the characteristics of IASM, determinants of trust, risk perception and its association with e-Trust in IASM, and finally applying the result to general internet shopping mall(referred to hereafter as GISM). The following results came out from the analysis: First, from the result of checking these two types of internet shopping mall consumers have different determinants of trust. Second, from the question if two types perceive different risk, purchasing the foreign goods, it came out that they showed critical difference in variable relevant to goods delivery and customer service. IASM perceived risk from those two variables more than GISM Third, from the review of the relationships between determinants of trust and risk perception variables, IASM showed interrelation among all the variables except between customer service and perceived risk. Fourth, the researcher examined how the risk perceived in the course of purchasing goods has an effect on consumers e-Trust. In case of IASM, risk perception relevant to customer service had an effect on consumer e-Trust. To the contrary, incase of GISM, risk perception didn't have any effect on e-Trust. Finally, from the review of interrelation between determinants of trust and consumer e-Trust, it came out that for IASM capability had an effect on consumer e-Trust and for GISM consumer service had an effect on consumer e-Trust.

Measurement and Decomposition of Socioeconomic Inequality in Metabolic Syndrome: A Cross-sectional Analysis of the RaNCD Cohort Study in the West of Iran

  • Objectives: Socioeconomic inequality in metabolic syndrome (MetS) remains poorly understood in Iran. The present study examined the extent of the socioeconomic inequalities in MetS and quantified the contribution of its determinants to explain the observed inequality, with a focus on middle-aged adults in Iran. Methods: This cross-sectional study used data from the Ravansar Non-Communicable Disease cohort study. A sample of 9975 middleaged adults aged 35-65 years was analyzed. MetS was assessed based on the International Diabetes Federation definition. Principal component analysis was used to construct socioeconomic status (SES). The Wagstaff normalized concentration index (CIn) was employed to measure the magnitude of socioeconomic inequalities in MetS. Decomposition analysis was performed to identify and calculate the contribution of the MetS inequality determinants. Results: The proportion of MetS in the sample was 41.1%. The CIn of having MetS was 0.043 (95% confidence interval, 0.020 to 0.066), indicating that MetS was more concentrated among individuals with high SES. The main contributors to the observed inequality in MetS were SES (72.0%), residence (rural or urban, 46.9%), and physical activity (31.5%). Conclusions: Our findings indicated a pro-poor inequality in MetS among Iranian middle-aged adults. These results highlight the importance of persuading middle-aged adults to be physically active, particularly those in an urban setting. In addition to targeting physically inactive individuals and those with low levels of education, policy interventions aimed at mitigating socioeconomic inequality in MetS should increase the focus on high-SES individuals and the urban population.

가산자료 회귀모형을 활용한 연료전지 및 태양전지 분야 특허의 질적 수준 결정요인 분석 (Analyzing the Determinants of the Patent Quality in Fuel Cell and Solar Cell Technology Using Count Data Models)

  • 지속적인 성장을 위하여 정부는 R&D투자 규모를 지속적으로 늘리고 있으며, 동시에 R&D 성과의 산업화 연계 등 성과활용 관점의 관리와 인프라를 강화하고 있다. 그러나 사후적인 성과관리보다는 우수한 결과가 도출될 수 있는 사전적인 R&D기획이 더욱 중요하다. 본 연구는 우수한 R&D성과의 창출을 위한 R&D기획에 대한 시사점을 제시하고자, 신재생에너지 분야 중 연료전지와 태양전지 분야 특허를 대상으로 가산자료 모형을 활용하여 특허의 질적 수준 결정요인을 비교 분석 하였다. 분석결과 기술별로 결정요인은 서로 상이하게 나타나 R&D기획이 기술별로 구별되어야 함을 보였고, 결과를 바탕으로 우수한 R&D성과를 도출할 수 있는 연료전지, 태양전지 분야의 R&D기획 방향을 제시하였다.

소비자불만족에 대한 대응행동 유형과 판별변수에 관한 연구 -학원 교육서비스를 중심으로- (A Study on the Complaining Behavior Type about Consumer Dissatisfaction and Its Discriminant Variables -focused on the Educational Services Services of Private Institute-)

  • The objectives of this study were to examine the propensity and to analyze some determinants of complaining behavior about the educational services of private institutes. The survey was conducted by means of self-administered questionnaire with 546 university students Living in Seoul and Cheongjoo. They had an experience of studying in the educational services of private institutes in recent two years. Major findings were as following: (1) The propensity of private complaining behavior about the educational services of private institutes averages 3.36 points out of 5. This score is beyond the middle slightly. Whereas the propensity of pubic complaining behavior is very low. (2) According to the discriminant analysis, tuition fee, information supplied for solving the dissatisfaction, and altitude about the complaining behavior are the determinants to distinguish between complaining/non complains behavior group of private complaining behavior. (3) Information supplied for solving the dissatisfaction, kindness of the stars, the establishment, the way of making tuition fees, the degree of awareness of cost, the attitude about complaining behavior, the confidence of success for complaining behavior are the determinants to distinguish between complaining/non complains behavior group of public complaining behavior.

Bacterial determinants involved in the induction of systemic resistance ana plant growth promotion in tobacco by Pseudomonas chlororaphis O6.

  • The ability of P. chlororaphis O6 to induce resistance to Erwinia carotovora subsp. carotovara SCCI and to promote growth in tobacco was demonstrated in microtiter assays on plants pre-inoculated at the root level with the bacteria before challenge with the leaf pathogen. To identify th bacterial determinants involved in induced systemic resistance and plant growth promotion, cell culture of O6 grown in King's medium B was fractionated with organic solvents and purified using various columns. in vivo and in vitro assays with samples from successive fractionation steps of the O6 supernatant led to the conclusion that antibacterial compounds were observed in aqueous layer, and to the isolation of fractions containing metabolites that retained most of the resistance-inducing activity (70:30, methanol:water) and the plant growth promotion (80:20 and 90:10, methanol:water) after ODS column chromatography. Although these molecules remain to be purified further and structurally characterized, its isolation is an addition to the range of determinants from plant growth-promoting rhizobacteria known to stimulate plant defence.

무역업체의 전자무역 이용만족과 e-충성도에 관한 연구 (A Study on Satisfaction and e-Loyalty of the Electronic Trade of the Trade Companies)

  • Considering rapid development of Internet Portal Site Contents in Korea, it is an important issue to analyze consumers' satisfaction and e-loyalty. This research develops, and empirically test a model for explaining/predicting the satisfaction and e-loyalty with internet-based Electronic Trade Site. This paper describes a theoretical model for investigating the Satisfaction and e-Loyalty of the Electronic Trade Site. This study investigates the concept of the satisfaction, e-loyalty in Electronic Trade Site and its determinants, and tries to establish e-loyalty analyzing model. The model of the satisfaction, e-loyalty electronic trade site is tested here using data from 158 samples. Based on the research model, a comprehensive set of hypotheses is formulated and a methodology for testing them is outlined. some of the hypotheses are tested empirically to demonstrate the applicability of the theoretical model. In examining the relationships of the determinants factors, service quality satisfaction show in significantly by Reliability, Information Provided, Trustworthiness, Convenience, International of contents but that show in not significantly by Interaction. In addition, Electronic Trade site retention shows indirect effect between customer satisfaction and referral. Although our research can not show the determinants of e-loyalty in the electronic trade site the empirical result give both theoretical and managerial implication for managing the consumers' satisfaction and e-loyalty in electronic trade site.
