거시 인터페이스: UI(User Interface) 조직 구축에 관한 연구 (Macro Interface: Organizational Design for UI Team)

  • Macro interface is primarily focused at the organization, while micro interface is primarily focused at the products or services. UI(User Interface) or UX(User Experience) organizations in Korea are institutionalized from 2000 years. Since most of the UI organizations are not institutionalized with the strategic plan, structures of them aren't optimized efficiency. The structure of the organization is conceptualized as having three core dimensions: complexity, formalization, and centralization. The status of the UI organizations in Korea is reviewed with these dimensions. This study issued the key success factors for institutionalization for UI team. Organizational maturity is considered in 5 levels based on a model by CMMI. The UI strategy has to be based the maturity level of the organization.

Issuance of Stock Dividends or Bonus Shares: A Case Study of Carlsberg Brewery Malaysia Berhad

  • This study investigates the specific and conclusive reasons why a company issues bonus shares, as well as the rationale and the best timing for bonus share issuance. The study examines Carlsberg's annual reports from 1988 to 2004 to evaluate the factors that influence bonus share payments and timing. Examine supporting evidence from other businesses as well. An analysis of Carlsberg Brewery Malaysia Berhad's bonus shares granted from its inception to 2004 found that the announcement of bonus shares would increase the company's share price. As a result, the findings suggest that bonus shares are issued to correct market asymmetry. This research supports the idea that issuing bonus shares would increase the stock price, resulting in increased liquidity. Hence, companies issue bonus shares to boost their liquidity and to convey private positive information to their shareholders. This research adds to the literature by focusing on the timing and key features of bonus share issuing. It implies that dividend policy should be customized to market imperfections. As a result, dividend policies would differ significantly between organizations based on the weights each of the imperfections has on the firm and shareholders.

생물학 학술지 즉시성지수(Immediacy Index)의 영향 요인에 관한 연구 (A Study on Factors which affect Immediacy Indexes for Biology Journals)

  • 이 연구는 발행된 연도의 평균 인용빈도를 보여주는 지수인 학술지의 즉시성지수를 수집한 후 즉시성지수의 증감에 영향을 준 구체적인 요인을 분석하였다. 이를 위해 2008년 JCR에 수록된 생물학(biology) 분야의 학술지 71종에 관한 즉시성지수를 수집하였고, 즉시성지수 값에 직간접적으로 영향을 준 것으로 보이는 여러 항목에 관한 데이터를 수집하여 분석하였다. 단순상관관계분석, 요인분석, 회귀분석 등을 실시한 결과 즉시성지수 총분산 의 67.64%가 외형, 수집가능성, 예정호 및 연령, 언어 등의 요인으로 설명되었다. 이 요인들을 독립변수로 회귀분석을 실시한 결과 통계적으로 유의하였다. 일반적으로 학술지의 즉시성지수에 많은 영향을 줄 것으로 기대되는 것은 학술지의 인지도이지만, 이 연구에서는 학술지의 면수와 같은 외형이 즉시성지수에 직접적인 영향을 주고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 아울러 오픈액세스 학술지가 일반 학술지에 비해 즉시성지수가 더 높았다. 또한 즉시성지수가 높은 학술지는 연간 발행횟수가 많고, PMC에 등재되는 사례가 흔하며, 발행국은 주로 미국과 영국이라는 것이 확인되었다.

위탁 급식 업체에 대한 중요도와 만족도에 관한 연구 - 제주지역 대학업체를 대상으로 - (A Study on the Satisfaction and the Importance of Contract Foodservice in Colleges in Jeju)

  • In this study, to improve the quality of school lunch in local colleges, we conducted a survey on students who attend 2 year colleges in Jeju region. With its own unique regional characteristics and the change of its school lunch program from direct management to consignment, there were some questions about how each factor in school lunch program affects on students' satisfaction with it and we tried to present helpful data to improve school lunch programs in each region. The survey took place from May 5 to May 10, 2005 covering the colleges only in Jeju region. There were 200 sets of questionnaires issued and distributed to the students who are currently using school lunch programs. Only 168 sets were retrieved and processed statistically. 2 sets out of 168 questionnaires had to be thrown away because there were wrong entries of some questions, which made overall retrieving rate 83%. In this study, SPSS 10.0 , one of the statistical package programs, was used as an analyzing tool to make Frequency Analysis. To verify credibility, Cronbach's Alpha Element Analysis was done and T-test and ANOVA was also made. After Recurrence Analysis for elements of satisfaction regarding main factors that is considered to be important to customers, we found that importance of following factors: appearance of food, incongruity between main and side dishes, availability of seasonal food, availability of preferred menu, absence of food stock, waiting time, accessibility of food counters, space between chairs, presentation of a menu, food tray's shape, and color of food trays. The importance of those showed high but satisfaction with the same factors was low. So the primary improvement on these factors should be made to increase satisfaction. Finally we concluded that in large extent, importance of each factor definitely affects on students' satisfaction.

현대 패션 디자인의 그래픽 요소에 나타난 매개 소스별 미적 특성 -유희본능적 시각 표현을 중심으로- (Aesthetic Characteristics of Graphic Factor in Contemporary Fashion Design Categorized by Media Source -Focusing on Play-Instinct Visual Expression-)

  • The purpose for this paper is to categorize and analyze the aesthetic characteristics of graphic factors in contemporary fashion design by media source. Focused on play-instinct visual expression in contemporary fashion design and adopted media source following the way of communication design. A variety of literatures and online sites for graphic factors in contemporary fashion was studied. The standard of media source is classified as graphic media-source: photography media-source, typography media-source, illustration media-source. With this standard, expressed ways are as followings. First, graphic media-source in play-instinct expressional fashion design is mostly borrowing existed character or using designer's brand logo. Second, photography media-source in play-instinct expressional fashion design is placed photograph of social issued people in front of shirt. Third, typography media-source in play-instinct expressional contemporary fashion design is mostly expressed social messages or designer's name in brand. Fourth, illustration media-source is the best way to express play-instinct visual expression. Based on these, aesthetic characteristics of graphic factor in contemporary fashion by media source are classified as three: social words, playfulness and information transference. Frequency ratio using media source per aesthetic characteristics is different and these are able to categorize expression way and image feature. In conclusion, expressional way of graphic factors in contemporary fashion design became diverse as social and cultural changing. Frequency of graphic factor use in contemporary fashion is increased than before. This paper suggested that fashion design is one of the way of communicating with people and should be analyzed graphic factors in contemporary fashion design.

Factors Affecting the Adoption of IFRS: The Case of Listed Companies on Ho Chi Minh Stock Exchange

  • The study investigates the key factors that affect the adoption of the International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) by companies listed on Ho Chi Minh Stock Exchange (HOSE) in Vietnam. The factors that are studied in this research include total debt-to-equity ratio, firm size, return-on-equity ratio, audit quality, foreign investment, and financial institution category. The authors have utilized quantitative and qualitative analyses in combination with a logistics regression model and other available analytical tools for conducting the research. All statistics processed in the paper were based on 379 audited financial statements issued in 2018. The results reveal that factors like firm size, return on equity (ROE), audit quality, foreign investment, and financial institution category positively affect the IFRS adoption of HOSE-listed companies, while total debt-to-equity ratio negatively impacts the adoption. The findings suggest Vietnamese law and policy-makers, when promoting the adoption of IFRS by listed companies, should focus more on five variables with positive influence and they can disregard the total debt-to-equity ratio that is insignificant as a factor affecting the adoption of IFRS. This implication could be applied for other firms in Vietnam and for enterprises in other countries, which are in the same stage of IFRS application.

패션산업의 문화 가치와 소비 가치 -마케팅과 의류학의 패션시스템에 대한 거시적 관점의 통합적 접근- (Cultural and Consumption Values in the Korean Fashion Industry: Integrating Macro-Level Perspectives of Fashion System in Marketing and Clothing Areas)

  • Cultural value is widely accepted as the crucial concept in understanding consumer behavior: cultural values influence consumption values, which determine choices of consuming everyday products and services. The objectives of this study were to (a) identify the difference between cultural and consumption values in the Korean fashion industry and (b) to explain the difference using the existing theories introducing fashion system, which are Solomon(2002)'s cultural production model in marketing area and Hamilton(1997)'s fashion system arbiter in clothing area. The qualitative data used to identify cultural values were 160 apparel advertisements listed in a fashion magazine issued in 2002. Utilizing the convenient sampling method, the quantitative data used to identify consumption values were gathered by surveying female university students aged over 20 living in the Seoul metropolitan area. Of 369 returned questionnaires, 255 were used in factor analysis and paired t-test. Cultural value ignored functional aspect of apparel while it was one of the most salient factors for consumption value. With respect to success and fashion orientation factors, cultural value highly appreciated them while they were the least considered factors for consumption value. These implicate that the Korean fashion industry can be explained by Hamilton's macro-level cultural and fashion system arbiters and cultural production model as well. Introducing macro-level perspectives about fashion system, this study encourages researchers to expand their research spectrum from micro-level consumers to macro-level fashion industry, which has long been neglected by the fashion marketing researchers in Korea.

케이블교량의 부재 설계를 지배하는 하중조합에 대한 신뢰도지수 평가 (Evaluation of Reliability Index of Governing Load Combination for Design of Cable Supported Bridge Members)

  • 이 논문에서는 케이블교량 설계기준의 설계하중조합에 대한 신뢰도분석을 수행하였다. 설계기준에서 정의한 하중계수와 저항계수를 적용하여 설계된 실제 케이블교량을 대상으로 주 부재별 통계특성과 설계지배 하중조합을 분석하였다. 신뢰도분석을 통하여 하중조합별로 설정된 목표신뢰도지수를 확보됨을 확인하였고, 교량의 중요도를 상향할 수 있는 저항수정계수의 적용성을 검토하였다. 설계변수들이 신뢰도지수에 미치는 민감도 분석을 통하여 케이블의 신뢰도에 중요한 영향을 주는 요소를 분석하였다. 이를 통하여 설계기준의 안전계수들을 적용한 설계를 통하여 케이블교량의 목표신뢰도지수를 확보할 수 있음을 확인하였다.

딥러닝 및 토픽모델링 기법을 활용한 소셜 미디어의 자살 경향 문헌 판별 및 분석 (Examining Suicide Tendency Social Media Texts by Deep Learning and Topic Modeling Techniques)

  • 자살은 전 세계 사망 원인 중 4위이며 사회, 경제적 손실이 큰 난제이다. 본 연구는 자살 예방을 위하여 소셜미디어에 나타난 자살 관련 말뭉치를 구축하고 이를 통해 자살 경향 문헌을 분류할 수 있는 딥러닝 자동분류 모델을 만들고자 하였다. 또한, 자살 요인을 분석하기 위해 주제를 자동으로 추출하는 분석 기법인 토픽모델링을 활용하여 자살 관련 말뭉치를 세부 주제로 분류하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 소셜미디어 중 하나인 네이버 지식iN에 나타난 자살 관련 문헌 2,011개를 수집한 후 자살예방교육 매뉴얼을 기준으로 자살 경향 문헌 및 비경향 문헌 여부를 주석 처리하였으며, 이 데이터를 딥러닝 모델(LSTM, BERT, ELECTRA)로 학습시켜 자동분류 모델을 만들었다. 또한, 토픽모델링 기법의 하나인 LDA 기법으로 주제별 문헌을 분류하여 자살 요인을 발견하였고 이를 심층적으로 분석하기 위해 주제별로 동시출현 단어 분석 및 네트워크 시각화를 진행하였다.

Factors Affecting Public Non-compliance With Large-scale Social Restrictions to Control COVID-19 Transmission in Greater Jakarta, Indonesia

  • Objectives: The Indonesian government issued large-scale social restrictions (called Pembatasan Sosial Berskala Besar, or PSBB) at the beginning of the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic to control the spread of COVID-19 in Jakarta, Bogor, Depok, Tangerang, and Bekasi (Greater Jakarta). Public compliance poses a challenge when implementing large-scale social restrictions, and various factors have contributed to public non-compliance with the regulation. This study aimed to determine the degree of non-compliance and identify the factors that contributed to public non-compliance with the PSBB in Greater Jakarta, Indonesia. Methods: This was a quantitative study with a cross-sectional design. A total of 839 residents of Greater Jakarta participated in this study. Data were collected online using a Google Form, and convenience sampling was undertaken. Univariate and multivariate analyses were performed to explore the relationships between public non-compliance with the PSBB regulation and socio-demographic variables, respondents' opinion of the PSBB, and social capital. Results: A total of 22.6% of subjects reported participating in activities that did not comply with the PSBB. The variables that most affected non-compliance with the PSBB were age, gender, income, opinion of the PSBB, and social capital. Conclusions: Strengthening social capital and providing information about COVID-19 prevention measures, such as washing one's hands with soap, wearing masks properly, and maintaining social distancing, is essential. Robust public understanding will foster trust and cooperation with regard to COVID-19 prevention efforts and provide a basis for mutual agreement regarding rules/penalties.
