지진시 지반-터널 상호작용 및 면진 효과 (Soil-Tunnel Interaction and Isolation Effect during Earthquakes)

  • Long term earthquake observations at different tunnel sites within a variety of alluvial soil deposits have demonstrated that a circular tunnel is liable to deform in such a way that its two diagonal diameters crossing each other expand and contract alternately. Based on this knowledge, the soil-tunnel interaction and isolation effect for this particular vibration mode is investigated. Interaction effect is considered with the condition of fixed tangential strain between the tunnel and the soil. Isolation effect embodied by covering up the tunnel with isolation materials is discussed as a possible measure for mitigating seismic damage to it. When Poisson`s ratio of isolation material decreases or the shear modulus ratios of the soil to isolation material become large, the isolation effect becomes bigger.

  • This paper presents the results of experimental studies on the equipment isolation effect in the nuclear containment. for this Purpose, shaking table tests were performed. The natural rubber bearing (NRB) and high damping rubber bearing (HDRB) were selected for the isolation. Peak ground acceleration, damping characteristics of isolation system and frequency contents of selected earthquake motions were considered. finally, it is presented that the NRB and HDRB systems are effective for the small equipment isolation and the damping of isolation systems can be affected to the seismic isolation effect.

  • Base isolation system은 구조물의 기초하부에 설치되며 지진에 의한 구조물의 피해를 감소시켜 준다. 지금까지 많은 공학들에 의해 여러가지 base isolation system이 개발되었으나 실용화된 것은 1970년대에 laminated rubber bearing(LR type)이 개발되고서부터 였다. 최근에는 laminated rubber bearing밑에 미끄럼판을 둔 새로운 base isolation system(SR type)이 개발되었다. 본 연구에서는 isolation system과 구조물의 여러가지 성질에 따른 isolation효과에 대한 연구를 수행하였다. 이 연구의 결과, isolaion system은 지진하중이 작용할 때 건물에 발생하는 피해를 상당히 감소시킴을 알 수 있으며, isolaion system의 주기가 길어짐에 따라 isolation효과는 증가함을 알 수 있다. 그리고 건물의 높이가 증가함에 따라 isolation효과는 줄어든다는 것을 알 수 있다. SR type isolation system이 있는 건물에 지진하중이 작용할 때, 건물내부에서 발생하는 가속도와 층간변위, 그리고 전체변위는 LR type의 경우보다 작으므로 보다 효율적이라는 것을 알 수 있다.

Shock absorption of concrete liquid storage tank with different kinds of isolation measures

  • Concrete rectangular liquid storage tanks are widely used, but there are many cases of damage in previous earthquakes. Nonlinear fluid-structure interaction (FSI) is considered, Mooney-Rivlin material is used for rubber bearing, nonlinear contact is used for sliding bearing, numerical calculation models of no-isolation, rubber isolation, sliding isolation and hybrid isolation concrete rectangular liquid storage tanks are established; dynamic responses of different structures are compared to verify the effectiveness of isolation methods; and influences of earthquake amplitude, bidirectional earthquake and far-field long-period earthquake on dynamic responses are investigated. Results show that for liquid sloshing wave height, rubber isolation cause amplification effect, while sliding isolation and hybrid isolation have reduction effect; displacement of rubber isolation structure is much larger than that of sliding isolation with limiting-devices and hybrid isolation structure; when PGA is larger, wall cracking probability of no-isolation structure becomes larger, and probability of liquid sloshing wave height and structure displacement of rubber isolation structure exceeds the limit is also larger; under bidirectional earthquake, occurrence probabilities that liquid sloshing wave height and structure displacement of rubber isolation structure exceed the limit will be increased; besides, far-field long-period earthquake mainly influences structure displacement and liquid sloshing wave height. On the whole, control effect of sliding isolation is the best, followed by hybrid isolation, and rubber isolation is the worst.

Effect of the limiting-device type on the dynamic responses of sliding isolation in a CRLSS

  • To study the effectiveness of sliding isolation in a CRLSS (concrete rectangular liquid-storage structure) and develop a reasonable limiting-device method, dynamic responses of non-isolation, sliding isolation with spring limiting-devices and sliding isolation with steel bar limiting-devices are comparatively studied by shaking table test. The seismic response reduction advantage of sliding isolation for concrete liquid-storage structures is discussed, and the effect of the limiting-device type on system dynamic responses is analyzed. The results show that the dynamic responses of sliding isolation CRLSS with steel bar-limiting devices are significantly smaller than that of sliding isolation CRLSS with spring-limiting devices. The structure acceleration and liquid sloshing wave height are greatly influenced by spring-limiting devices. The acceleration of the structure in this case is close to or greater than that of a non-isolated structure. Liquid sloshing shows stronger nonlinear characteristics. On the other hand, sliding isolation with steel bar-limiting devices has a good control effect on the structural dynamic response and the liquid sloshing height simultaneously. Thus, a limiting device is an important factor affecting the seismic response reduction effect of sliding isolation. To take full advantage of sliding isolation in a concrete liquid-storage structure, a reasonable design of the limiting device is particularly important.

부모와의 정서적 유대감과 사회적 지지 및 소외감이 미혼모의 자녀 양육효능감에 미치는 영향 (The Effects of Emotional Connection with Parents, Social Support, and Isolation on Unmarried Mothers' Child-Rearing Efficacy)

  • The purpose of this study was to identify the effects of emotional connection with parents, social support, and isolation on unmarried mothers' child-rearing efficacy. The subjects of this study were 194 unmarried mothers. Data were analyzed by frequency, percentage, Cronbach's ${\alpha}$, and Pearson's correlation using the SPSS 12.0 program. The test of the theoretical model was performed with an analysis of the correlational matrix in the AMOS 7.0 package for path analysis. The results of this study were as follows: First, the number of adult unmarried mothers was higher than that of teen mothers. Most unmarried mothers had a in low monthly income-, were unemployed, and received economic assistance from the government or social welfare institutions as a major source of their income. Their decision to have a child were for the following reason: the desire to have a child, fear of having an abortion, belief that abortion is a crime, and uncertainty about which decision to make, etc. Second, the women's emotional connection with their parents had a direct effect on social support. Social support had a direct effect on isolation:,- however, it did not have a direct effect on parenting efficacy. Third, the women's emotional connection with their parents had a direct effect on isolation. Isolation had a direct effect on parenting efficacy. Fourth, social support mediated by the women's emotional connection with their parents had an indirect effect on isolation and child-rearing efficacy. Isolation mediated the women's emotional connection with their parents and had an indirect effect on child-rearing efficacy.

바닥충격음 방지재의 재료강성 효과 (Effect of the Stiffness on the Performance of Impact Noise Isolation Pads of a Floor)

  • This paper describes the effect of the pad stiffness on the noise reduction of impact noise isolation pads of a floor. And also a new semi-experimental method for measuring the impact noise isolation capability of a pad is introduced. The impact noise isolation pads made of wire-mesh, urethane-chip and foam rubber are used for measuring the stiffness, the vibrational insulation performance and the impact noise isolation capability. The correlation between the stiffness and impact noise isolation capability of pads is theoretically reviewed, and confirmed from the experimental results. For measuring the impact noise isolation capability of only an isolation pad, a semi-experimental method proposed in this study is more effective than the reverberation room method.

코로나 전담병원 간호사의 사회적 고립감과 우울의 관계에서 사회적 지지의 매개효과 (The Mediating Effect of Social Support on the Relationship between Social Isolation and Depression of Nurses in The COVID-19 Specialized Hospitals)

  • 본 연구는 간호사의 사회적 고립감과 우울의 관계에서 사회적 지지의 매개효과를 규명하고자 하였다. 연구의 대상자는 3개 코로나 전담병원에서 근무하는 간호사 135명이었다. 수집된 자료는 IBM SPSS Statistics 25.0을 이용하여 기술통계, 상관관계 및 매개 분석하였다. 매개효과는 PROCESS macro for SPSS 4.0 프로그램을 사용하여 분석하였다. 연구 결과, 사회적 고립감은 사회적 지지(𝛽=-.62, p<.001)와 우울(𝛽=.49, p<.001), 사회적 지지는 우울(𝛽=-.19, p=.028)에 직접적인 영향을 나타냈다. 사회적 고립감과 우울의 관계에서 사회적 지지는 매개효과가 있는 것으로 나타났다((indirect effect=.12, 95% CI=0.02~0.29). 그러므로 간호사의 우울을 경감시키기 위해서는 사회적 고립을 감소시키는 중재가 요구되고, 사회적 고립감을 지각하는 간호사의 우울을 완화하기 위해 적절한 개입을 고안할 때 사회적 지지를 강화하는 전략을 개발할 필요가 있다.

  • This paper presents the results of experimental studies on the equipment isolation effect in the nuclear containment. For this purpose, shaking table tests were performed. The isolation system, known as Friction Pendulum System (FPS), combines the concepts of sliding bearings and pendulum motion was selected. Peak ground acceleration, bidirectional motion, effect of vertical motion and frequency contents of selected earthquake motions were considered.   • Several researches have been studied to enhance the seismic performance of nuclear power plants (NPPs) by application of seismic isolation. If a seismic base isolation system is applied to NPPs, seismic performance of nuclear power plants should be reevaluated considering the soil-structure interaction effect. The seismic fragility analysis method has been used as a quantitative seismic safety evaluation method for the NPP structures and equipment. In this study, the seismic performance of an isolated NPP is evaluated by seismic fragility curves considering the soil-structure interaction effect. The designed seismic isolation is introduced to a containment building of Shin-Kori NPP which is KSNP (Korean Standard Nuclear Power Plant), to improve its seismic performance. The seismic analysis is performed considering the soil-structure interaction effect by using the linearized model of seismic isolation with SASSI (System for Analysis of Soil-Structure Interaction) program. Finally, the seismic fragility is evaluated based on soil-isolation-structure interaction analysis results.
