Determination of 11 Phenolic Endocrine Disruptors using Gas Chromatography/Mass Spectrometry-Selected Ion Monitoring in Five Selected Wastewater Influents

  • An efficient method for the simultaneous determination of eleven phenolic endocrine-disrupting chemicals (EDCs) present in wastewater influent samples was described. The 11 phenolic EDCs including alkylphenols, chlorophenols, and bisphenol A were determined by gas chromatography/mass spectrometry-selected ion monitoring (GC/MS-SIM) following two work-up methods for comparison; isobutoxycarbonyl (isoBOC) derivatization and tert-butyldimethylsilyl (TBDMS) derivatization. The wastewater influent samples containing the 11 EDCs were adjusted to pH 2 with $H_2SO_4$ and then cleaned up with n-hexane. Next, they were subjected to solid-phase extraction (SPE) with XAD-4 resin and subsequently converted to isoBOC or TBDMS derivatives for sensitivity analysis with gas chromatography/mass spectrometry-selected ion monitoring (GC/MSSIM). Following isoBOC derivatization and TBDMS derivatization, the recoveries were 86.6-105.2% and 97.6-142.7%, the limits of quantitation (LOQ) for the 11 phenolic EDCs for SIM was 0.001-0.050 ng/mL and 0.003-0.050 ng/mL, and the SIM responses were linear with the correlation coefficient varying by 0.9717-0.9995 and 0.9842-0.9980, respectively. When these methods were applied to five selected wastewater influent samples, for isoBOC derivatization and TBDMS derivatization the ranges of concentration detected were 0.2-99.6 ng/mL and 0.4-147.4 ng/mL, respectively.

R-404A/POE 오일 혼합물의 증기압과 혼화성 (Vapor Pressure and Miscibility for R474A/POE Oil Mixtures)

  • The vapor pressure and miscibility measurement apparatus was developed and used to obtain data for refrigerant/oil mixture. The vapor pressure and miscibility data for R-404A/32 ISO VG polyol ester (POE) oil mixture and R-404A/46 ISO VG polyol ester oil mixture are obtained over the temperature range from -20 to $60^{\circ}$ with at $10^{\circ}$ intervals and the oil concentration range from 0 to 70 wt%. Using the experimental data, an empirical model was developed to predict the temperature vapor pressure-concentration relations for R-404A/46 ISO VG polyol ester oil mixtures at equilibrium. In the R-404A/32 ISO VG polyol ester oil mixture, the average root-mean-square deviation between measured data and calculated results from the empirical model is 1.24% and in the R-404A/46 ISO VG polyol ester oil mixture, that is 1.37%. Miscibility for R-404A/32 ISO VG polyol ester oil mixture was observed all over the experimental conditions. Immiscibility for R-404A/So1est 46 oil mixture was observed at the low oil concentrations (20~30 wt%) over the high experimental temperature range (50~$60^{\circ}$).

  • 오늘날 대부분의 조직들은 프로세스 중심의 업무 관리를 위해 노력하고 있고, 이를 위한 Business Process Management(BPM)의 개념은 점차 확산되어 가고 있는 추세이다. ISO 9001:2000 품질경영시스템이 Business Process Re-engineering(BPR)의 영향을 받았고, 프로세스 중심적인 경영시스템이기 때문에, BPM은 ISO 9001:2000 품질경영시스템과 다르지 않다고 본다. 한국과학기술정보연구원(KISTI)은 2003년 11월 11일에 ISO 9001:2000 인증은 받았고, BPM 기반의 품질정보시스템을 구축하였다. KISTI의 품질정보시스템은 BPM을 기반으로 하여 프로세스 경영을 잘 지원할 것이며, BPM과 품질경영을 접목한 새로운 사례가 될 것이다.

ISO14971:2019 세부분석과 Post Market Surveillance의 적용 방안 - IVDR 요구사항 중심으로 (ISO14971:2019 detailed analysis and Post Market Surveillance Application Method - Focusing on IVDR requirements)

  • EN ISO 14971:2012 a risk management standard approved and applied as a European standard in 2012, will be adopted and applied as ISO 14971:2019 published in December 2019, ISO/TR 24971(Guidance) published in June 2020 from May 2022. After that, it is applied to IVDD surveillance and IVDR new and conversion, and the manufacturer is already preparing for application or is starting preparation for application. In addition, 98/78/EEC IVDD applied from 1998 will also be applied as REGULATION (EU) 2017/746 IVDR from May 2022. In particular, in IVDR, the requirements for post-marketing investigations such as Post Market Surveillance (PMS), Summary of safety and performance(SSP), Periodic Safety Update Report(PSUR) and Post Market Performance Follow Up(PMPF), which were not required in the existing IVDD, increased, and the contents were also specified. This study focused on ISO14971:2019 among these strengthened and newly applied regulations, and tried to present a detailed analysis and application plan of Post Market Surveillance (PMS) required by 2017/746 IVDR.

2008년도 국제표준화기구 인간공학 기술위원회 표준 개발 활동 현황 (Standardization Development Activities of ISO TC 159 in the Year 2008)

  • This study surveyed standardization activities of the International Standard Organization (ISO) Technical Committee 159 (TC 159) (ergonomics) in the year 2008. The subcommittee 1 (SC 1) dealing with general ergonomics principles produced one committee draft (CD). The subcommittee 3 (SC 3) dealing with anthropometry and biomechanics systematically reviewed two ISO standards issued in 2003 and 2004 respectively. The subcommittee 4 (SC 4) dealing with ergonomics of human system interaction issued 11 final draft international standards (FDIS), 3 draft international standards (DIS), 4 CDs, and 4 new work item proposals (NWIP). The SC 4 also systematically reviewed 10 international standards due on the year 2008. The subcommittee 5 (SC 5) dealing with ergonomics of the physical environment issued one FDIS, 3 CDs, and one NWIP. This paper summarized the major features of the FDIS approved by each subcommittee of TC 159 for publication in the year 2008.

자율주행자동차의 안전 및 보안을 위한 설계 및 검증 표준: ISO/TR 4804 (Design and Verification Standard for Safety and Cybersecurity of Autonomous Cars: ISO/TR 4804)

  • 본 논문에서는 자율주행자동차의 안전성 및 보안성을 보장하기 위해서 설계하고 검증하는 방법을 규정한 국제 표준인 ISO/TR 4804에 대해 다룬다. ISO/TR 4804는 자율주행자동차가 (1) 인간 운전자보다 훨씬 더 안전하고 (2) 타당하지 않은 위험이 없도록 하는 것을 목표로 하며, 이를 위해 12개의 안전성 및 보안성 원칙을 제시한다. 설계 과정에서는 (1) 안전성 및 보안성 원칙을 달성하는데 필요한 13개의 역량, (2) 이 역량을 수행하기 위해 필요한 하드웨어 및 소프트웨어 요소, (3) 이 요소를 결합한 논리적, 일반적인 아키텍쳐 등을 규정한다. 검증 과정에서는 (1) 안전성 및 보안성을 검증하기 위한 5개의 과업, (2) 이 과업을 완수하기 위한 테스트 목표, 플랫폼, 솔루션, (3) 시뮬레이션 방법 및 필드 운영 방법, (4) 하드웨어 및 소프트웨어 요소의 검증 방법 등을 규정한다. 특히 심층 신경망을 하나의 소프트웨어 요소로 간주하고, 심층 신경망이 적용된 자율주행자동차를 설계하고 검증하는 방법을 규정한다.

ISO 9001 품질경영시스템(QMS)이 종업원 만족에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Influence of ISO 9001 Quality Management System(QMS) on Employee's Satisfaction)

  • The purpose of this study is to research and analyze the influence of ISO 9001 QMS(Quality Management System) certification on the employer's financial goal and the employee' satisfaction. In this study, we could find that ISO 9001 QMS certification influenced eight factors which contribute to employee's satisfaction, and the purpose and background of ISO 9001 QMS certification was analyzed to have a good influence on the employee's satisfaction. In the future, the implementation strategy of ISO 9001 QMS needs to be studied to make the employees satisfied more with their duties and to pursue the employer's financial goals at the same time.

국내산 증류주의 고급 알콜 조성에 관하여 (Higher Alcohols composition in Korean Alcoholic Beverages)

  • 1989년도 시판 중인 위스키, 브랜디 등 23종의 국산증류주에 대하여 고급 알콜 함량을 분석하고 조성비를 평가하였다. 얻어진 결과는 다음과 같다. 1. 위스키에 있어서 원액혼합비율이 높을수록 고급알콜의 함량이 높았으며, iso-amyl alcohol과 iso-butanol 함량의 비는 낮은 경향을 나타내었다. 2. 진, 럼, 보드카류는 고급 알콜 함량이 낮았으며, SA에서는 iso-butano, 그 외에서는 n-propanol만이 확인되었다. 3. 위스키류나 브랜디에서는 n-propanol , iso-butanol , iso-amyl alcohol의 고급 알콜 3종이 확인되었다.

  • This paper is concerned with the International Standard ISO 2859-1 (1989), Sampling Plans Indexed by Acceptable Quality Level (AQL) for Lot-by-Lot Inspection, his standard is AQL type sampling scheme, and incorporates switching rules to move among normal, tightened, and reduced inspections. Sample size code letters and inspection levels of ISO 2859-1 are the same as those of other attributes standards MIL-STD-105D, ANSI Z1.4, and KS A 3109. But ISO 2859-1 has more simple switching rules than KS A 3109 has. The sampling procedures of the ISO 2859-1 are matched to the variables international standard ISO 3951 to enable us to move between them. Composite OC and ASN curves are given for AQL 2.5% and code letter F.

ISO 9001:2000 / KS A 9001:2001에 의한 공공행정 부문의 품질경영시스템 구축 모델 (A Construction Model of Quality Management System in Public Administration Sector by ISO 9001:2000 / KS A 9001:2001)

  • ISO 9001:1994 / KS A 9001:1998 was recently revised as ISO 9001:2000 / KS A 9001:2001, so as to be used in non-manufacturing companies as well. In this paper, a model for quality management system in public administration sector was proposed by customizing ISO 9001:2000 / KS A 9001:2001. The proposed model is compatible with ISO 9001:2000 / KS A 9001:2001, and expected to be used as a guideline for those people who are involved in establishing quality administration system in public sector.
