Recently a lot of domestic harbor and fishing village should be established by redevelopment Thus this paper is to propose directions of color design about fishing village and harbor in East coast. Above all important color-scape in harbor, such as regional atmosphere and sea-scape are to analyze color planning. The major analysis is to take basic data about color planning for marine tourism. For the feasibility of these characteristics, hue, value, chroma can be checked and design of color-scape may be possible to work out future harbor surrounding by evaluation scale. This study suggests that harbor of contemporary is to be environmental and regional color control. To this end, it shows that the color of not uniformity but combination/harmony is one of the important of satisfaction of color environments. The result of this study, analysis of color-scape about status will be useful to plan with color data in fishing village and harbor.

As an essential factor of plasticity in fashion, color reflects socio-cultural trends and has possessed different symbolism in its historical development. This study aims to search for an academic approach towards finding out how the concepts and symbolism of the color white were expressed in actual clothing. This will be realized through the investigation of the various meanings this particular color possesses. The secondary purpose of this study is to give shape to the results of above said academic investigation by proposing their integration into actual fashion design. The methodology employed in this study and results are as follows. First, the symbolism of the color white abstracted from the research of literature on this subject was classified into six categories; purity, grace, abstinence, sublimity, decorativeness, and avant-garde. Second, for empirical research, six designs were developed and produced into white dresses. The development of these dress designs was realized by presenting the symbolism of the aforementioned six categories into images, and the formative constructions of these images by applying various design details, expressive techniques, and characteristics of the materials. Through an investigation into the color white, which has been excluded from previous chromatics research as a major color, integration of the symbolism and chromatic image of this color into the actual fashion design process is made possible. The significance of this study is in that it proposes multifarious possibilities in fashion design, and also in extending the horizon of chromatics research in fashion through the realization of the above process.

Children's museum has roles of the characterized place for children as well as the museum for education. Therefore, specific color selection especially for children is one of the most important points to be considered. This study is the short investigation on various interior color systems of children's museums in Korea. In case of Children's Museum in National Museum of Korea, each exhibition area is apparently divided by adopting colors in accord with the subject of each space. Middle color in that museum generally gives stability, and clear color and accent color give better perception and vitality Children's folk Museum has adopted Korean traditional colors, O-Bang Colors, which have indicated Korean tradition for ages. All sections in Incheon Children's Museum are spatially divided, but similar colors of ceiling, wall, and floor give boring atmosphere. Since original colors of furniture in Science section distract attraction of children, proper color selection should be required for better reaction from children. Therefore, this research is aiming for detailed investigation in color system of children's museum and the proper interior color planning of the next children's museums with their main purpose for children in the future.

To obtain a clear understanding of the degree of effect by the food color in diet habits, this study was a survey of the taste for food color. In this study, the term of investigation was tow months(May and Jun. 1992), the object was 10's∼50's women, and the sampling of them at random contain 100 person, respectively. The data-treatment was determinded by frequency, percentage, SD, Chi-square, Spearman's rank order correlation coefficient, Correlation, F-test as measured by SAS program for PC and statistical figures were obtained by GDAS. The results were as follows; 1. Food color in diet habits. : The relationship of food color with appetite by age group was showed to affect all age groups having more then 90%. The concern for food color by age group showed the lowst teenage having 56.7%, showing more then 70% except teenage. When chosen food, The most important characteristics of food was not age group but taste. In the correlation between characteristics, The correlation between color and form, taste and nutrition was showed affirmative. The difference test for the taste of food color and general color was shown, and the level of significance was chosen at 95%. 2. In the correlation between food color and the sense of emotion, The food color of depression and solitude was purple, the color of sadness and crying was white. But in case of only solitude, A statistical significance was shown. 3. In the investigation of taste for food color, the mean of taste degree was high in red, orange, yellow, yellowish green, green, white and low in blue, black. Their statistical significance was shown between colors but, was not shown between age groups. 4. In the relation of food color and associated with food, the colors of associated with food shown a vast difference with natural food color were blue(85.5%), purple(80.0%), pink(41.7%) and yellow(40.0%) but, A red color was not shown the error rate of associated with food color at all. Almost all kinds of associated with food were fruits and vegetables.

Objectives Although tongue diagnosis is one of major diagnostic methods in east Asian traditional medicine, the standard of normal tongue color have not established. So we tried to suggest the method to establish the standard of normal tongue color range and the pilot data about the normal range. Materials and methods: 22 precedent study papers that presented the numerical data of normal (light red) tongue color were analyzed. At the same time, 46 adult people tongue color data were also collected and analyzed. Results Precedent studies showed remarkable fluctuations of the range of normal tongue color. Collected tongue color data of the 46 people showed mean Hue value 2 and standard deviation 14 in HSB system. Additionally, 3 ways of standard establishment for normal tongue color were suggested. Conclusion We suggest statistical method as a reasonable method for tongue color standard establishment and $2{\pm}14$ as a reference Hue value for normal tongue color.

This paper is to investigate and analyze the clothing colors fitted for personal color types and to help consumers express individual characteristics by clothing colors suitable for themselves. The comparison of sixty three clothing colors with three personal color types. and investigation and analysis of the best clothing colors of each type have led to the following results. Those belong to warm Personal Color Type don't have a variety of choices for clothing colors. so they should be careful of choosing clothing colors. They will do well to choose dark tone colors for their clothing. Those of Cold Personal color Type have a wide range of choices for clothing colors. They have an advantage of expressing themselves in various ways. Neutrals, Blue and Yellow have been found to go well with them. Those of Mixed Personal Type are advised to wear bright and pale tone colors such as Purple, Green, and Red. It will be desirable that the choice of clothing colors should conform to each personal color for the tones of clothing colors should conform to each personal color for the tones of clothing colors make difference according to personal color types.

There are various schemes to improve the environment of a rir in which we dwell. Among them environment color is one of formative elements that compose a city environment, the recognition about it is coming to be high gradually. A stabilized appropriate color of city environment gives a psychological social cultural effect to the people and also can be a useful method even in public information of city image, To give a citizen sensitive aesthetic and emotional satisfaction, a systematic rational design approach is necessary in an environment color plan. Hereupon, this study suggests one model of a concrete substantial color design through analyzing a present condition, for example, an existing environment, a case study about similar space, and a question investigation for finding out preference image and applying them to the color design. Through a rational systematic environment color design one can expect several effects making identity in a region, increasing a peculiar image or unity reinforcement by total application of color scheme, creating a visual environment with aesthetic characteristic, and efficiency of continuous color management system.
