This paper has made an empirical research on airline staff working at Incheon international airport, who perceived safety culture in their organization and delivered safety information while the staff were providing service against passengers. The purpose of this paper was to analyze the relationship among safety culture, service quality and service provider efficacy to find out which factor of safety culture had a significant effect on both service quality and service provider efficacy. Following the results from empirical research, this paper would provide administrative implications which could be applied to improve airline's service quality and to manage effectively the airline staff at field. According to research, it was found fairness culture among safety cultures had a positive and significant effect on both service quality and service provider efficacy. However, reporting/studying culture had a negative effect on them. In other words, it would decrease airline service quality and prevent active service provider's efficacy at airport if a airline management focused reporting/studying culture of safety. It is important to settle down fairness culture of safety to motivate and improve service quality.

Despite international cooperation, piracy has not yet been eradicated in major waters around the world. From the perspective of South Korea, which is absolutely dependent on exporting and importing, it's a lifeline for us to secure safe maritime traffic so it is a situation we have to be vigilant about maritime safety and security. However, criminal law on punishment of piracy is still insufficient and legislative consideration is needed. Since pirates are regarded as enemies of humankind, all nations can punish pirates regardless of their damage. The international community has done its best in cooperation from hundreds of years ago to secure maritime trade through this universal jurisdiction and marine transportation in international waters which is an essential space for military activities, particularly in the Gulf of Aden, the advanced nations have dispatched fleets to combat maritime security threats through joint operations to crack down on Somali pirates. Even if universal jurisdiction is allowed for piracy in accordance with the International Convention on Human Rights and the United Nations Convention on the Law of the Sea, it is difficult to effectively deal with piracy if it not fully complied with a domestic legal system for this purpose or is stipulated as different from international regulations. In other words, universal jurisdiction corresponding to international norms and constitution of piracy should be defined in criminal law in accordance with criminal statutory law. If the punishment of pirates by unreasonably applying our criminal law without prejudice to such work can lead to diplomatic disputes in violation of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights or other international norms. In South Korea, there is no provision to explicitly prescribe piracy as a crime, but punish similar acts like piracy in criminal law and maritime safety law. However, there is a limit to effective piracy punishment because we are not fully involved in internationally accepted piracy. In this study, we critically examine the proposals of the constitutional elements of piracy, propose the legislative direction, and insist on the introduction of globalism to pirate sins.

This study identifies how management theory and philosophy work in conjunction with and support one another as both are critical to understanding leadership concepts and viewing the design organization holistically in terms of organizational behavior and performance. This paper analyses data from an in-depth single-case study at management in interior design organization in Korea. Two new 'most efficient and effective way' to achieve the goals of the design organization has been launched. The first was organizational behavior and performance, and the second a needed new paradigm of management skills. Organizational culture affects organizational effectiveness in design because it can (a) provide an organization with a competitive advantage, (b) improve the way an organizational structure works, and (c) increase the motivation of designers to pursue organizational interests. Moreover, the result of research creates paradigm of thinking that how leaders in the design organization need to focus on innovative and strategic systems to gain competitive advantage and enter global markets; a key inter-organizational cooperation strategy to achieve a targeted goal.

The model of success in South Korea from a pariah state coming from the ruins of the Korean War into a member of the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) with a trillion dollar economy is encouraging. The Korean economic experience in terms of entrepreneurship and poverty reduction is an intriguing jig saw puzzle to researchers. This paper looks at Korean entrepreneurship history from the 1960s and how it shaped the contemporary sustainable economic development success of the Korean economy. Using a qualitative approach, the study used the Korean case study in comparison with Sub Saharan Africa to explore five powerful lessons on how the region can replicate the Korean entrepreneurship experience. The study shows that entrepreneurship was key to the radical transformation of its economy and government was instrumental in latent nurturing of Korean entrepreneurial spirit.

For the connection of trans-continental railway network, it is critical to conquer the break-of-gauge problem at the borders in different countries. Up to now, the best solution seems to be the employ of the auto-changable gauge equipment. Countries, such as Russia, Japan are developing and commercializing auto-changable gauge equipment to maximize transport efficiency for the trans-continental network. The efforts to search a suitable logistical service are also underway. In this paper, technology and development trend of this equipment in several countries is indicated through inspecting and analyzing the historical and current situation of development, operating mechanism and technical problems. As the basic technology of auto-changeable gauge is not well developed in our country, the purpose of this study is to search an approach to fix the research direction, and find practical ways to international cooperation.

On a global level, the energy problem is a very important policy topic, particularly at a time when the nation relies on imports for more than 95% of its energy demand. The starting point of an energy policy should be in line with the international community's concern and cooperation regarding climate warming, and the logic of the new policy on renewable energy expansion in Korea, the pre-developed energy sector, and policy of deserting coal all support this aspect. In particular, to accommodate the rapid urbanization of mankind, the key words of the 4th Industrial Revolution are linking energy to IoT, artificial intelligence, block chain, cloud, and big data.

This study was carried out to investigate the major factors of the successful development of Doi Chaang Coffee Complex, Chiang Rai of Thailand. Data were gathered through field survey, library research and internet so on. Interviews were conducted with specialist, community leaders, board member of Doi Chaang Coffee Company from 14 to 19, January 2007. The major factors for the successful development observed were as follows: 1) Successful selection of crops and farming system(SALT) with regards of slopes and meteorological condition; 2) Leadership of the King of Thailand and the chief of Akha in terms of attitudinal change of hill-tribes in agriculture extension; 3) supporting by Royal Project Foundation; 4) Quality control through post harvest management by cooperative system; 5) Cooperation between the Coffee Producers' Cooperatives of Thailand and for the international Doi Chaang Coffee Corporation of Canada in terms of fair trade and so on.

This paper presents a genetic programming based evolutionary strategy for on-line adaptive learnable evolvable hardware. Genetic programming can be useful control method for evolvable hardware for its unique tree structured chromosome. However it is difficult to represent tree structured chromosome on hardware, and it is difficult to use crossover operator on hardware. Therefore, genetic programming is not so popular as genetic algorithms in evolvable hardware community in spite of its possible strength. We propose a chromosome representation methods and a hardware implementation method that can be helpful to this situation. Our method uses context switchable identical block structure to implement genetic tree on evolvable hardware. We composed an evolutionary strategy for evolvable hardware by combining proposed method with other's striking research results. Proposed method is applied to the autonomous mobile robots cooperation problem to verify its usefulness.

A telecooperation system supports synchronous cooperation among all the product development partners and enables compensation of deficits concerning traditional information/communication technologies. By analyzing the product development processes and communication scenarios of a company manufacturing automobile parts, the specifications for the suitable telecooperation system were defined. An integrated telecooperation platform that combines the commercial softwares with the new developed modules for customer-oriented functionalities was created as a product development guideline. Future work is strongly required in order to define the best way to improve the integrated platform, based on the functionality of ERP and PDM systems.

This paper has done a study of Chinese-Korean cooperative multimedia design education. Sino-Korean school of multimedia was set up by Shanghai University of Engineering Science (SUES) and Korea Dongseo University in October 2002. We have created "3.5+0.5 Teaching Model". In this model, Chinese and Korea professors take courses together. Firstly, paper points our the Chinese government policy background of Chinese-Foreign Cooperation in running schools and the development of Chinese-Korean cooperative multimedia design education in SUES. Secondly, by analyzing the multimedia design industry to understand the Chinese multi-media design education. Thirdly, paper made in-depth studies for "3.5+0.5 Teaching Model" so as to draw the experience of successes and problems. Through analysis of "Questionnaires for students' learning and living conditions in Dongseo University in 2009" by spss 16.0, paper made a research of mode of "A semester studying in Korea". Finally, paper points out the development direction of Chinese-Korean cooperative multimedia design.
