One difficulty in language learning is the training of reading ability. The improvement on this ability directly affects the process and effect of language learning. At the same time, there are numerous difficulties in actual learning and teaching. Depending on current research, there is two ideas that can utilize to enhance the reading efficiency of learners. One is to amend objective factors; the other is to change subjective factors. Compared with the two ideas, idiosyncratic factors are more manipulable and controllable, so it is more valuable to conduct researches on this. But among the many subjective factors, the degree of their effectiveness is not the same, so this article attempts to compare and analyze the driving effects of two important subjective factors (peer-driven and task-driven) on reading performance. The results show that both factors can have a positive impact on reading comprehension, but different in driving effects. The task-driven has obvious short-term effectiveness; while peer-driven needs to establish its long-term effect on the basis of early coordination and cooperation among team members. Therefore, in order to maximize the achievement of learning, it is necessary to combine strengths and avoid weaknesses according to the characteristics of two factors, so as to help learners improve reading ability most efficiently.

For over 30 years, investigations of the thermohydraulic behavior of pressurized-water reactors under accident conditions have been carried out in the PKL test facility at AREVA NP in Erlangen, Germany. The PKL facility models the entire primary side and significant parts of the secondary side of a of pressurized water reactor at a height scale of 1:1. Volumes, power ratings and mass flows are scaled with a ratio of 1:145. The experimental facility consists of four primary loops with circulation pumps and steam generators (SGs) arranged symmetrically around the reactor pressure vessel (RPV). The investigations carried out encompass a very broad spectrum from accident scenario simulations with large, medium, and small breaks, over the investigation of shutdown procedures after a wide variety of accidents, to the systematic investigation of complex thermohydraulic phenomena. The PKL tests began in the mid 1970s with the support of the German Research Ministry. Since the mid 1980s, the project has also been significantly supported by the German PWR operators. Since 2001, 25 partner organizations from 15 countries have taken part in the PKL investigations with the support and mediation of the OECD/ NEA (Nuclear Energy Agency). After an overview of PKL history and a short description of the facility, this paper focuses on the investigations carried out since the beginning of the international cooperation, and shows, by means of some examples, what insights can be derived from the tests.

The purpose of this study is to inspect the case of university convergence education on elderly education. The Center for Academic Continuing Education (ZAWiW) at Ulm University in Germany aims to inquiry the diversity and differentiation of university and related institutions for senior education by analyzing the linkages between various major areas related to the subject of the elderly and cooperation models between generations. Various topics related to research and life in the elderly are being conducted with a focus on the participation of elderly learners. Through seasonal academy and Ulm 3rd Generation University, connection between regions and universities and interdisciplinary convergence are being actively provided. It can lead to a differentiated strategy of the university for the education of the elderly.

Since medical education programs in Korea and Japan seem to mutually influence each other, this review article provides a history of Japanese medical education, focusing on the way in which it influenced and was influenced by Korean medical education. In the late 19th century, the University of Tokyo established the core medical school, disseminating its scholarship and system to other medical schools. In the early 20th century, the balance between the quality and quantity of medical education became a new issue; in response, Japan developed different levels of medical school, ranging from imperial universities to medical colleges and medical vocational schools. After World War II, all of Japan's medical schools became part of the university system, which was heavily regulated by the Ministry of Education (MOE) Standard for the Establishment of Universities. In 1991, MOE deregulated the Standard; since 2000, several new systems have been established to regulate medical schools. These new approaches have included the Model Core Curriculum, 2-year mandatory postgraduate training, and a medical education accreditation system. Currently, most medical schools are nervous, as a result of tighter regulatory systems that include an accreditation system for undergraduate education and a specialty training system for postgraduate education.

The aim of this paper is to identify the key determinants in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries for Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) inflows by using a balanced data panel for the period from 1995 to 2018. This study covers GCC countries in their entirety. The study uses ten explanatory variables, namely, trade ratio, gross domestic product, external balance, fuel exports, gross savings, international tourism, military expenditure, net foreign assets, services value added, and total natural resources. The authors have tried to find the best fit model from the differences methods considered such as OLS, GLS regression with the help of Hausman test, and country by country regressions as additional analysis. The study revealed a significantly positive association between inflation, trade ratio, gross domestic product, gross savings, and net foreign assets with FDI. On the contrary, international tourism was revealed to have a negative association with FDI. The sample of all GCC countries chosen for this study has not been considered widely by any earlier study. Moreover, this study covered many determinants of FDI that add to the previous literature. It is a significant contribution to the current research body and stresses the originality of this paper.

The purpose of this paper is to suggest strategies for Korean companies to overcome the limitation of the international trade structure between Korea and Vietnam. This study examined foreign multinational distribution companies, Korean distribution companies and domestic distribution companies in Vietnam. A SWOT analysis conducted to propose effective strategies revealed that Saigon Mart, Vietnam's largest regional mart company, needs an O/W strategy and to capture market opportunities quickly through strategic alliances with foreign distribution companies, in order to gradually complement their core competencies internally. Lotte mart in Vietnam, one of Korea's three largest marts, needs to establish a T/S strategy in order to overcome the crisis situation in Vietnam market and succeed in business. BIG C Mart has over 40,000 diverse products needs to use a T/S strategy in order to effectively overcome the crisis situation in the Vietnamese market and to increase the possibility of business success. From the study findings and conclusions, various implications are derived. Vietnam is still very strong in socialism and regional characteristics, so it needs to build up close cooperation such as joint venture with local partners in the region and strategic alliances to increase the possibility of investment success.

The purpose of this study is to contribute to the revitalization of the green logistics of Korean companies by presenting the current status and problems of Korean logistics as influenced by government policies. This paper analyzes green logistics from a legal and institutional perspective. Analysis focuses on low-carbon green growth measures and government policy, especially for CO₂ reduction. It considers how policies can be enacted to promote green logistics. This study reports several findings on green logistics in Korea. First, it reports the theoretical considerations of the Republic's green logistics. Second, the study details the current status and problems of green logistics. Third, it considers ways to implement a green economy, green technology, and green transportation, while also considering arguments for avoiding these eco-friendly solutions. Fourth, it argues that revitalization measures are needed to establish an advanced logistics system for eco-friendly green logistics facilities. To achieve this revitalization, Korean logistics should be competitive in the global logistics market. This study may contribute to the expansion of the industrial cooperation of Korean logistics companies by presenting necessary review tasks for governmental green logistics policies, although the issue has long been important to Korean logistics.

The domestic gaming industry is a globally competitive field, but growth has recently slowed and competition in overseas markets is intensifying. Accordingly, it is important to analyze the investment status of the domestic gaming industry and study ways to revitalize it. The game industry is a labor-intensive, high-value-added industry that occupies an important position in the domestic content industry. However, the number of businesses and employees has been steadily decreasing for several years, and polarization within the industry is worsening. This is the effect of a decrease in investment in an industrial structure in which labor costs are the majority of production costs. Accordingly, we analyze the current status of the domestic gaming industry, and also analyze the investment status of the gaming industry and the investment structure of domestic venture capital to study the scale and required period of investment and investment projects needed to promote the industry. In this study, "the investment status of the domestic gaming industry and proposed revitalization measures. We study cooperation between the government, businesses, and academia to solve the problem of declining investment and slowing growth." We expect to strengthen competitiveness and continue to grow as we pursue revitalization plans.

This study will look at various implications of China's resumption of trade with Korea, such as trade restructuring, changes in trade policies and the impact on corporate competitiveness, and how the two countries resolved trade disputes. We will evaluate the evolution of trade between China and Korea from a historical and economic perspective, analyze how policy changes have shaped corporate strategies, and discuss how these changes have affected both countries' positions in the global economy. Through this study, we aim to provide a deeper understanding of regional economic cooperation and global economic governance and insight into future policy decisions.

This study aimed to reveal the relationship between the rural tourism social media use motivation and satisfaction, trust, continued usage intention. In order to carry out the empirical study 310 survey questionnaires were collected in rural tourism social media users, PASW18 and Lisrel 8.54 Statistics package were utilized for analysis of SEM. The study results were as follows: First, social media use motivation had a positive influence upon satisfaction, Secondly, satisfaction had a positive influence on trust, continued usage intention. Thirdly, trust had a positive influence upon continued usage intention. The study findings can provide the rural tourism with social media as well as practitional foundational upon which to establish effective marketing strategy.
