유체가 부분적으로 채워진 내부지지 연속 원통셸의 진동해석 (Vibration Analysis of Partially Fluid-filled Continuous Cylindrical Shells with Intermediate Supports)

  • The theoretical method is developed to investigate the vibration characteristics for the partially fluid-filled continuous cylindrical shells with the intermediate supports. The intermediate supports are simulated by two types of artificial springs : the translational spring for the translation for each direction and the rotational spring for a rotation. The springs are continuously distributed along the circumferential direction. By allowing the spring stiffness to become very high compared to the stiffness of the structure, the rigid intermediate supports are approximated. In the theoretical procedure, the Love's thin shell theory is adopted to formulate the theoretical model. The frequency equation of the continuous cylindrical shell is derived by the Rayleigh-Ritz approach based on the energy method. Comparison and convergence studies are carried out to verify and establish the appropriate number of series term and the artificial spring stiffness to produce results with an acceptable order of accuracy. The effect of intermediate supports, their positions and fluid level on the natural frequencies and mode shapes are studied.

  • The multi-stage shape drawing is used to obtain long shaped products with high levels of dimensional accuracy and quality. It is important to design the cross sectional shapes of the intermediate passes to meet the required dimensional accuracy of the final product in the multi-stage shape drawing. Until now, the cross sectional shapes of the intermediate passes have been designed by the experiences. It is still remained unsolved problem to design the cross sectional shapes of intermediate pass drawing dies in the multi-pass shape drawing. In this study, a new technique is proposed to design the cross sectional shapes of intermediate passes. The proposed method is applied to a multi-stage shape drawing for a LM-guide which is one of the representative shape drawing products. In order to verify the effectiveness of the proposed method, FE-simulation and experiments have been carried out. The dimensional accuracy of the proposed method is compared with that of the conventional shape drawing process designed by the industrial engineers.

  • The current AISC341-10 standard specifiesa value of 0.02 radian for the minimum rotation capacity of connections for the intermediate steel moment frame system. However, despite of the advances realized in the domains of performance evaluation method and analysis method, research onthe minimum rotation capacity of the intermediate steel moment frame systemsatisfying the seismic performance has not been conducted in detail. In this study, the intermediate moment frame systemisdesigned with respect to current standards and the seismic performance in accordance with the rotational capacity of connections is evaluated using the seismic performance evaluation method presented in FEMA-P695. The minimum rotation capacity of intermediate steel moment frames required to satisfy seismic performance as well as the major design values affecting the seismic performance of moment frame areestimated. To that goal, the design parameters are selected and various target frames are designed. The analysis models of the main nonlinear elements are also developed for evaluating seismic performance. The resultsshow that the 20-story structure doesnot meet the seismic performance even if it satisfies the rotation capacity of 0.02 radian.

Three-coil Magnetically Coupled Resonant Wireless Power Transfer System with Adjustable-position Intermediate Coil for Stable Transmission Characteristics

  • In magnetically coupled resonant (MCR) wireless power transfer (WPT) systems, the introduction of additional intermediate coils is an effective means of improving transmission characteristics, including output power and transmission efficiency, when the transmission distance is increased. However, the position of intermediate coils in practice influences system performance significantly. In this research, a three-coil MCR WPT system is adopted as an exemplification for determining how the spatial position of coils affects transmission characteristics. With use of the fundamental harmonic analysis method, an equivalent circuit model of the system is built to reveal the relationship between the output power, the transmission efficiency, and the spatial scales, including the axial, lateral, and angular misalignments of the intermediate and receiving coils. Three cases of transmission characteristics versus different spatial scales are evaluated. Results indicate that the system can achieve relatively stable transmission characteristics with deliberate adjustments in the position of the intermediate and receiving coils. A prototype of the three-coil MCR WPT system is built and analyzed, and the experimental results are consistent with those of the theoretical analysis.

중간재 생산자에 대한 납품단가 인하압력과기술혁신: 슘페터리안 성장모형을 이용한 정책효과 분석 (Bargaining Power Over Intermediate Goods Prices and Innovation: A Policy Analysis Using Schumpeterian Growth Model)

  • 본고에서는 최종재 생산자의 중간재 생산자에 대한 납품단가 인하압력이 기술혁신과 경제성장에 미치는 영향을 슘페터리안 성장모형을 이용하여 분석하였다. 중간재 생산자는 중소기업과 대기업 계열 중간재 생산자를 광범위하게 포괄하는 개념이며, "납품단가 인하압력"은 중간재 생산기업 및 연구자에 대한 이윤분배율 또는 인센티브 부여 정도를 나타내는 변수로 이해할 수 있다. 이러한 관점에서 슘페터리안 성장모형에 최종재 생산자와 중간재 생산자 사이의 마켓파워에 따른 이윤 분배율을 추가한 모형을 세워 분석한 결과, 중간재 생산자에 대한 납품단가 인하압력은 기술혁신에 대한 대가를 줄이므로 혁신과 경제성장에 부정적으로 작용함을 알 수 있었다. 중간재 납품단가 인하는 자본의 한계 생산성을 떨어뜨려 실질이자율을 낮추지만 저이자율의 혁신유발 효과보다는 저이윤으로 인한 혁신억제 효과가 더 큰 것이다. 이 분석모형을 바탕으로 R&D의 생산성이 높은 경우와 낮은 경우, 그리고 R&D 투자에 대한 보조금률이 높은 경우와 낮은 경우 등 여러가지 경우의 조합에 대해 시뮬레이션 분석을 해본 결과, 모든 경우에서 중간재 생산자의 이윤 분배율을 높이는 정책은 연구개발 보조금 정책에 못지않은 성장효과를 갖는 것으로 나타났다. 따라서 중간재 생산자, 특히 혁신적 중소기업이 혁신의 과실을 충분히 누릴 수 있도록 공정거래 정책을 펼 경우 장기적으로 경제성장에 큰 도움이 될 것이다.

팔라듐 합금 복합막 제조를 위한 Intermediate Layer 연구 (A Study on Intermediate Layer for Palladium-Based Alloy Composite Membrane Fabrication)

  • 팔라듐 합금 복합막의 제조는 니켈 분말과 무기화합물의 혼합물로 개질된 튜브형 다공성 스테인레스 스틸 지지체 표면 위에 무전해 도금법(elctroless plating technique)에 의해 팔라듐 - 니켈 - 은을 박막으로 도금하는 형태로 이루어졌다. 일반적인 다공성 금속 지지체는 기공이 크기 때문에 그 자체로서 도금에 적합한 지지층이 되기가 어렵고, 결함이 없는 팔라듐 복합막의 제조가 쉽지 않아 본 연구에서는 금속 지지체와 팔라듐 사이에 중간층(intermediate layer)을 형성하여 이와 같은 문제점을 극복하고자 하였다. 중간층의 소재인 실리카 졸, 알루미나 졸, 이산화티타늄 졸 등의 무기화합물과 니켈 분말의 혼합물로 다공성 금속 지지체 위에 코팅하여 박막을 형성하고 제조 조건에 따른 질소 투과도를 측정하고 비교하였다. SEM 분석법에 의해 니켈과 무기화합물 혼합물의 표면층의 형성 모습도 측정하였다. 제조된 중간층 가운데 이산화티타늄 졸과 니켈의 혼합물이 가장 낮은 질소 투과도와 치밀한 표면층을 나타내었다. 최종적으로 니켈과 실리카의 혼합 중간층으로 이루어진 팔라듐-니켈-은 합금 복합막을 제조하고 수소와 질소의 투과도를 측정하였다. 1기압 이하에서 질소에 대한 수소 선택도는 무한대였으며 수소투과 속도는 1 기압, $500^{\circ}C$에서 $1.39{\times}10^{-2}mol/m^2{\cdot}s$의 값을 나타냈다.

스테레오 영상 보정 알고리즘에 기반한 새로운 중간시점 영상합성 기법 (A New Intermediate View Reconstruction Scheme based-on Stereo Image Rectification Algorithm)

  • 본 논문에서는 비교정 상태의 스테레오 입력영상에 영상보정 알고리즘을 적용한 새로운 중간시점 영상합성 기법을 제시하고 그 성능을 분석하였다. 제시된 방법에서는 먼저, 좌, 우 스테레오 영상의 각 화소 간들에 대한 유사도 및 모서리 검출을 통해 특징점을 추출한 다음, 이들 특징점을 이용하여 스테레오 영상간의 움직임 벡터와 에피폴라 선을 검출하였다. 그리고 스테레오 영상간의 수평선을 일치시킴으로써 좌, 우 스테레오 영상을 보정하고 최적으로 적응적 변위추정 기법을 이용하여 최적화된 중간시점 영상을 합성하였다. CCETT의 'Man' 영상과 스테레오 카메라를 사용하여 촬영한 '사람' 및 '자동차' 영상을 사용한 중간영상 합성 실험결과 본 논문에서 제안된 보정기법으로 교정된 스테레오 영상의 경우가 비교정 상태에 비해 'Man' 영상은 3.6㏈, '사람' 및 '자동차' 영상은 2.59㏈, 1.47㏈의 PSNR이 각각 개선됨이 분석됨으로써 본 논문에서 새로이 제시한 스테레오 영상 보정 알고리즘 기반의 중간시점 영상합성 기법의 실질적 응용 가능성을 제시하였다.

Distribution and Morphology of Calretinin-Immunoreactive Neurons in the Intermediate and Deep Layers of Cat Superior Colliculus

  • Calretinin is thought to play roles in calcium buttering. Its site of expression has been extensively studied in the central nervous system. We previously reported (Hong et at.,2002, Neurosci. Res.,44: 325-335) calretinin expression in the superficial layers of the cat superior colliculus (SC). In the present study, we studied the distribution of calretinin in the intermediate and deep layers by immunocytochemistry. We found striking differences in calretinin immunoreactivity among the superficial, intermediate, and deep layers. In contrast to the superficial layers, the intermediate and deep layers contained many calretinin-immunoreactive (IR) neurons. They formed two laminar tiers. The first tier, which was very distinctive, was found within the upper intermediate gray layers and formed clusters of labeled neurons in many sections. The second tier of calretinin-IR neurons was found in the deep gray layer. However, the second tier was not distinctive compared to the first tier and the labeled neurons did not form any clusters. Calretinin-IR neurons in the intermediate and deep layers varied dramatically in morphology and included vortical fusiform, pyriform, and stellate neurons. Neurons with varicose dendrites were also labeled. Most of the labeled neurons were small to medium in size. Enucleation appeared to have no effect on the distribution of calretinin immunoreactivity in the contralateral intermediate and deep layers of the SC. The results indicate that calretinin is present in various neurons, at different locations. These results should be applicable for better understanding of the functional organization of the SC.

깊이 1200mm급 변단면보의 중간모멘트골조용 내진접합부 개발 (Beam-Column Connection with 1200mm Deep Multi-Reduced Taper Beam for Intermediate Moment Frame)

  • Deep beam has high section modules compared with shallow beam of the same weight. However, deep beam has low rotational capacity and high possibility of brittle failure so it is not possible to apply deep beams with a long span to intermediate moment frames, which should exhibit a ductility of 0.02rad of a story drift angle of steel moment frames. Accordingly, KBC and AISC limit the beam depth for intermediate and special moment frame to 750mm and 920mm respectively. The purpose of this paper is to improve the seismic performance of intermediate moment frame with 1200mm depth beam. In order to enhance vulnerability of plastic deformation capacity of deeper beam, Multi-Reduced Taper Beam(MRTB) shape that thickness of beam flange is reinforced and at the same time some part of the beam flange width is weakened are proposed. Based on concept of multiple plastic hinge, MRTB is intended to satisfy the rotation requirement for intermediate moment frame by dividing total story drift into each hinge and to prevent the collapse of the main members by inducing local buckling and fracture at the plastic hinge location far away from connection. The seismic performance of MRTB is evaluated by cyclic load test with conventional connections type WUF-W, RBS and Haunch. Some of the proposed MRTB connection satisfies connection requirements for intermediate moment frame and shows improved the seismic performance compared to conventional connections.

니오븀이 첨가된 Zr 합금 스트립의 부식 및 기계적 특성에 대한 중간열처리 영향 (Effects of Intermediate Heat Treatment on the Corrosion and Mechanical Properties of Zr Alloy Strip Incorporating Nb)

  • In order to investigate the effects of intermediate heat treatment between cold rolling passes on the hardness and corrosion properties of a Zr alloy incorporating Nb (Zr-1.49Nb-0.38Sn-0.20Fe-0.11Cr) strip, three different intermediate heat treatment processes ($580^{\circ}C{\times}4hrs$, $600^{\circ}C{\times}2hrs$ and $620^{\circ}{\times}1hrs$) were designed based on a recrystallization map and an accumulated annealing parameter. Test samples from the different processes were investigated by a hardness test, corrosion test, and microstructure analysis and appropriate heat-treatment conditions were thereupon proposed. The sample subjected to an intermediate heat treatment of $580^{\circ}C{\times}4hrs$ was harder than that undergoing $600^{\circ}C{\times}2hrs$ and $620^{\circ}C{\times}1hr$ while the corrosion resistance of the sample that received an intermediate heat treatment of $580^{\circ}C{\times}4hrs$ was superior to that of the other specimens. Considering the trade-off of hardness and corrosion resistance, an intermediate heat treatment process of $600^{\circ}C{\times}2hrs$ is proposed to improve the manufacturing process of the alloy strip.
