Aerial Triangulation with 3D Linear Features and Arc-Length Parameterization

  • 기존의 도화사 수작업에 의한 기준점기반 항공삼각측량 기법은 전통적인 사진측량에서 유용하게 이용되어 왔으나, 자동화된 수치사진측량 기법이 확산되면서 기존방법의 문제점이 대두되었다. 따라서 본 논문은 보다 발전된 자동화 기술 개발을 위하여 상위 레벨인 선형객체들을 이용한 항공삼각측량 가능성을 제시하고 검증하고자 하였다. 최근에 발달된 선형 객체 추출기법 알고리즘은 보다 정확한 선형 객체 추출기법을 제공하였지만, 포인트 추출기법에 비하여 추출하기 어려운 단점이 존재한다. 따라서 본 논문은 이를 극복하기 위하여 수동 디지타이징이나 에지 연산자를 통하여 쉽게 획득되는 포인트를 이용하여 상위레벨 선형객체를 생성하고, 이를 통해 지형공간정보 이용 가능성을 높이고자 하였다. 본 연구 결과를 통해 진화하고 있는 컴퓨터 환경에 적합한 선형객체를 이용한 항공삼각측량 기법을 발전시킬 것으로 기대된다.

Virtual reality training simulator for tooth preparation techniques

  • Standard oral and maxillofacial three-dimensional model was developed with patients' medical data while virtual reality (VR) simulator was developed in conjunction with head mount display (HMD) and Haptic device. The objective of this study was to evaluate the preclinical use of a VR training simulator in tooth preparation practice. Eighty-nine dental students were trained how to operate the simulator. The participants were then given sufficient time on the simulator to practice dental preparation. The students experience and opinion was then taken in through filling of questionnaires. On average content received 1.8 points, anatomy had 2.5 points, 2.6 points for the applicability, and 2.0 for the usability. As for the detailed items scores, queries about the possible development of the simulator and the interest of the learning process through the simulator were the highest at 3.1 and 3.0 points, respectively. Question about the benefit of the HMD and the haptic device during the practice had 1.5 and 1.6 points, respectively. The average total score was 2.2 points. VR tooth preparation simulator in the field of clinical dental education has powerful potential in regard to realistic models, environments, vision, posture, and economical efficiency.

한국 성인의 재난관련 특성에 따른 재난대비, 자아탄력성과 재난스트레스 비교 연구 (A Comparative study on the Disaster Preparedness, Ego-resilience and Disaster Stress by Disaster-related Characteristics of Korean Adults)

  • Purpose: This study conducted to determine if people perceive differences in disaster preparedness, ego-resilience and disaster stress according to their perception of risk and disaster safety, safety of residence, disaster experience and disaster education experience. Methods: A total of 1,000 subjects voluntarily participated in a nationwide online survey. Data obtained were evaluated using the t-test and ANOVA. Results: The average scores were $2.66{\pm}0.73$, $2.64{\pm}0.81$, $2.89{\pm}0.85$, and $3.62{\pm}0.66$ out of 5 points for -the risk of disaster, disaster safety, safety of residence and interest in disaster, respectively. For 18.6% of the subjects who reported having experience with disaster, fine dust was the most common disaster experienced. Moreover, 50.1% of respondents reported earthquake was the most likely disaster. The disaster preparedness score was $4.91{\pm}3.75$ out of 16 points, ego resilience was $3.38{\pm}0.53$ out of 5 points, and disaster stress was $5.61{\pm}1.77$ out of 10 points. There were significant differences in disaster preparedness, ego-resilience and disaster stress depending on subjects' perception of safety or interest in disaster and their experiences or education regarding disaster. Conclusion: Our results suggest that it is necessary to increase awareness of disaster and to prepare a plan for persistent and systematic disaster education.

기능성 전통 한과류 요구도 및 수요도 조사 (Investigation of Requirement and Demand toward for Functional Traditional Hangwa(Korean Cookies) of Tradition)

  • This study was conducted with 150 adults of 20 years or older, all of whom lived in Seoul. The awareness of traditional Hangwa (Korean cookies) was shown to be relatively low, with 2.9 points on average, and the intake of traditional Hangwa for a month was 2.1 times. For the reason that traditional Hangwa couldn't become popular, and the opinion that the reason was because the price is expensive was the highest, at 3.8. The next highest reasons given were because it is difficult to buy, and because it is inconvenient to eat, at 3.0. The traditional Hangwa was shown to enjoy positive awareness as opposed to negative awareness, while the manufacturing sanitation was also recognized to be relatively clean, with 2.6 points assigned to the opinion that it doesn't taste good, and 2.7 points assigned to the opinion that the manufacturing sanitation is unclean. With regard to the excellence of traditional Hangwa, the response that 'our tradition can be handed down' was the most often encountered, with a score of 3.9. The traditional Hangwa was appraised as excellent, with 3.6 points assigned to the opinion 'it suits our body because it is made with our agricultural products' and 3.4% for each opinion 'safe ingredients are used' and 'all ingredients are good for health'. With regard to the level of agreement for the development of functional traditional Hangwa, the positive group was higher than 25.3% of the negative group, with 27.3% for 'agree very much' and 22.0% for 'agree'. When converted into a 5-point scale for the development of functional traditional Hangwa, the group that was positive toward its development was high, with 3.4 points on average. All categories of excellence awareness were correlated with the level of agreement for the development of a functional food product (p<0.001). Consumer awareness toward the addition of traditional Hangwa functionality was generally positive, with 3.3 points or higher on average, and awareness of the aging suppression and diabetes control effects of Hangwa was also high, with 3.5 points. Next were Hangwa for diet, Hangwa for blood pressure control, Hangwa for mineral supple-mentation and vitamin additive-type Hangwa, with 3.4 for each, and Hangwa for health preservation, with 3.3 in order. With regard to the degree of interest toward functional traditional Hangwa for the treatment of diseases, obese patients cited aging suppression, at 3.2, and vitamin additive Hangwa, at 3.0, while Hangwa for dieting was assigned 2.8 points. Patients with high blood pressure, blood circulation, and diabetes were all shown as having a high degree of interest in all items, while evidencing particular interest toward Hangwa for diabetes control and Hangwa for blood pressure control. With regard to intention to purchase while developing functional traditional Hangwa, the group asserting intention to purchase was higher than 60% for all items except for Hangwa for diabetes control (58.7%). The Hangwa for aging suppression was highest, at 68.6%, and shown as having intention to purchase during development in the order of vitamin additive Hangwa at 68.0%, Hangwa for mineral supplementation at 64.6%, each of Hangwa for health preservation and Hangwa for blood pressure control at 62.7%, Hangwa for diet at 62.6% and Hangwa for diabetes control at 58.7%. The considerations during the development of functional traditional Hangwa were in the following order: storage at 4.1 points, taste and level of function at 3.9 points, size at 3.5 points, and packing at 3.4 points.

한국음식의 세계화를 위한 푸드코디네이터의 역할에 관한 중요도와 실행도의 차이 분석 (A Study on Difference between the Importance and Performance of the Role of Food Coordinator for the Globalization of Korean Food)

  • The purpose of this study is to provide useful information for establishing efficient marketing direction of globalization and commercialization of Korean foods by investigating the performance(satisfaction) and importance of food-coordinators' role. The results of the survey are summarized as follows: The most influential improvement variable of Korean food for globalization was 'hygiene'(23.6%) followed by 'taste', 'price', and 'shape and color'. Interest degree about food-coordinators showed 3.68 points in 5 points, and necessity of food-coordinators' job and education was 4.15 points. Food-coordinators' quality for globalization of Korean food was "a skill should be excellent"(4.51 points), "it must be original troubleshooting ability."(4.43 points) and "It must be professional ethics consciousness."(3.99 points) in the order. They were highly important of "freshness of food"(4.75 points) and "cleanliness of food and tableware" (4.65 points) in terms of the quality of korean food for globalization. The role importance of food-coordinators for globalization of Korean food was 'ability of development of Korean dish and Korean menu'(4.22 points), 'coordinate ability for various Korean special diet'(4.14 points) and 'knowledge for wann welcome service that consider table manners, service method and other person(4.12 points) in the order. The most influential unsatisfied variable of food coordinators' role was 'consulting ability connected with management of Korean restaurant' followed by 'ability of presenting concept connected with restaurant development of Korean style' and 'production ability for banquet party plan and representation in a Korean style'. In terms of IPA analysis on food-coordinators' role for globalization of korean food, it was noteworthy that items with high importance but low performance included "ability of development of Korean dish and Korean menu", "event coordinate ability connected with a Korean-style dish", and "production ability for banquet party plan and representation in a Korean style".

통합적 간호실무 시뮬레이션 기반 훈련이 간호대학생의 스트레스, 학습흥미, 문제해결능력에 미치는 영향 (Effects of Integrated Nursing Practice Simulation-based Training on Stress, Interest in Learning, and Problem-Solving Ability of Nursing Students)

  • Purpose: In this study the time point of effects that repeat exposure to simulation-based nursing training has on stress, interest in learning, and problem-solving abilities were identified. Methods: Participants for this study were 75 nursing college students in Seoul. In a preliminary survey data were collected and measured for the general characteristics, stress, interest in learning, and problem-solving abilities of the students. Then, stress was assessed before performance of each of four-rounds of simulation training scenarios. After each simulation round, interest in learning and problem-solving abilities were assessed. Results: With respect to stress, no significant differences were found when comparing the results of the preliminary survey to those of each of the simulation-based training exercises. For the sub-items of interest in learning, interest in nursing knowledge and interest in clinical training significantly increased between the preliminary survey and the $4^{th}$ survey. Interest in lab training increased significantly at the $1^{st}$ survey. Problem solving abilities showed a significant increase from the preliminary at each of the survey points. Conclusion: Increasing the exposure of nursing students to simulation-based training enhances their interest in learning and problem-solving abilities. Therefore it is necessary to have education strategies that includes various simulation experiences for students.

  • The travellers using social media leave their location history in the form of trajectories. These trajectories can be bridged for acquiring information, required for future recommendation for the future travelers, who are new to that location, providing all sort of information. In this paper, we propose a personalized travel path recommendation scheme based on social life log. By taking advantage of two kinds of social media such as travelogue and community contributed photos, the proposed scheme can not only be personalized to user's travel interest but also be able to recommend a travel path rather than individual Points of Interest (POIs). It also maps both user's and routes' textual descriptions to the topical package space to get user topical package model and route topical package model (i.e., topical interest, cost, time and season).

  • Response Surface Method (RSM) constructs approximate response surfaces using sample data from experiments or simulations and finds optimum levels of process variables within the fitted response surfaces of the interest region. It will be necessary to get the most suitable response surface for the accuracy of the optimization. The application of RSM plan experimental designs. The RSM is used in the sequential optimization process. The first goal of this study is to improve the plan of central composite designs of experiments with various locations of axial points. The second is to increase the optimal efficiency applying a modified method to update interest regions.

KLT 특징점에 기반한 비접촉 장문인식 (Contactless Palmprint Recognition Based on the KLT Feature Points)

  • 비접촉 장문을 인식하기 위해서는 영상의 크기 및 회전 변형을 효과적으로 해결해야 한다. 본 연구에서는 손의 크기와 방향에 따라 관심영역(ROI)을 추출한 후 정규화하여 일차적으로 이러한 변형을 최소화하였다. 본 논문에서는 KLT(Kanade-Lukas-Tomasi) 특징점에 기반한 비접촉 장문인식 방법을 제안한다. 대응되는 KLT 특징점 주위의 국소영역에 대한 텍스처를 비교하여 대응되는 특징점을 검출한 후, 특징점 쌍의 변위 크기와 방향을 나타내는 변위벡터들 간의 유사도를 비교하여 장문을 인식한다. CASIA 공개 데이터베이스를 이용한 실험결과 제안된 방법이 비접촉 장문인식에 효과적임을 확인할 수 있었다. 특히 다중 가버 필터를 이용하였을 때 99%를 상회하는 정인식률을 얻을 수 있었다.

의료과오소송 입증책임 관련 입법의 동향 (Legislation Trend Referring to Burden of Proof in Medical Malpractice Lawsuit)

  • Nowadays it is important for us to resolute medical disputes. Because a high incidence of medical accidents may be brought about according to many chances of treatment in the operation of health insurance and increasing concern of patient health. Patients and medical doctors have plenty of difficulty in uncomfortable treatment circumstances of a high incidence of medical accidents. It is especially desirable that our society should prevent medical accidents and resolute speedy, fairly and rationally the happened medical disputes. Many legislations were suggested to resolute medical dispute. But legal issue points stress only speedy medical dispute resolution procedure and don't compromise fair and professional procedure. Accordingly these legal arguing points had not been accepted by the National Assembly and people. If the speedy resolution of medical dispute was demanded to solve unsafe treatment circumstances, it is necessitated that the legislation containing legal issue points to procedure is enacted. Of course the interest of patients and doctors to legal issue points must be balanced. Because an arguing points to the reversal of proof burden is consisted of the entity judgement in connection with setting the basis of resolution of medical dispute, the legislation to these is checked carefully.
