  • This study proposes an approach to Product Data Management (PDM) education for collaborative product data management, which can support collaborative product development process. This approach introduces social media and a PDM system into a framework for PDM education supported by consistent product development process and product data model. It has been applied to two PDM classes and the result shows that the social media in PDM education can support not only experiences of the collaborative product data management but also interactive and informal communications among instructors and participants using integrated social media with product data during courses.

  • Augmented reality technology can provide computer-generated information to user effectively, therefore many industries have been trying to adopt AR technology to own domain field. Shipbuilding and offshore industry are also trying to introduce the technology, especially in education field. We have already studied about transporter education system based on augmented reality to help understanding for non-expert engineers. Once our previous study was focused on improving of rendering quality, this paper focuses on effective interaction between engineers and system to more increase educational results.

  • The world has witnessed a phenomenal growth in information and communication technologies (ICT). The development of new broadband communication services convergence of telecommunication with computers and recent developments in the field of communication protocol have fostered challenges as well as offerings in the wide-ranging use of ICT to support the creation of dynamic and interactive teaching and learning environment. By emergence of ICT, most of education and training institutions are struggling to integrate ICT and education and training systems. It is so important to apply proper delivery systems for utilization of the computerized teaching and learning contents in the classrooms. It will be a preliminary activity for building open and flexible distance teaching and learning systems in developing countries. In this paper, we would like to suggest and recommend the proper delivery systems for utilization of the computerized teaching and learning contents in the classrooms for education sector reform in developing countries.

  • Nowadays environmental education is getting important. So, it is necessary to teach for students to realize the protection environment. Self-direct homepage was developed for 'Ecology & environment' environmental education. This homepage was made for sharing searched data and can be interactive each other on the internet. Therefore, in this study, environmental teaming was planned and practiced for high school 'Ecology & environment' class by e-PBL. Self-directed teaming, collaborative teaming and performance assessment are emphasized in the 7th educational curriculum. The PBL is efficient learning model for them. This study designed for a teaching and teaming method and strategies using PBL based upon the theories and practices. This study will also develop an e-learning. As a result, it is indicated that the teaching and learning method using PBL has the positive effects on learning that the development of self-directed learning and collaboration teaming Is observed by reflect journal and presentation of students. e-PBL is a teaming model for learning-centered that adapted many school and subject. Therefore e-PBL makes full use of be 'Ecology & environment' class and environmental education.

  • Argumentative discussion is one of the important components of an educational program, which allows students not only to learn the process of social negotiation through discussions, but also to improve students' overall research abilities. The purpose of this study was to examine a) the changes between inquiry of before-argumentative discussion and inquiry of after-argumentative discussion, and b) the connections between the inquiry changes and online argumentative discussion. This study analysed 726 messages in an online argumentative discussion, as well as in first research reports and second research reports. The results of the study indicate that science-gifted students' research abilities were improved through on-line argumentative discussion that provided them with feedback based on interactive discussions, and encouraged them to re-examine hypotheses and experiment processes. The science-gifted students showed knowledge and abilities for identifying simple errors in research processes and arguing problems in the flow of the whole logic of research.

  • school mathematics is based on the premise that teacher have extensively complex mathematics content and pedagogical content knowledge to employ teaching to facilitate students' conceptualization of mathematics knowledge. In this paper we have presented the realities of teacher education program about several countries and three source area in teaching school mathematics. As a result we suggest that for developing mathematics teacher education First, communities have to hold teachers in high esteem due to confucian heritage. Second, our university have t provide one year internship for training for practices and the use of interactive multimedia simulation. Third, college courses have to help students discard misunderstanding knowledge and briefs about mathematics and pedagogy they bring to the university. Fourth, our country have to reform teacher education system. Fifth, the government have to pay the tuition costs for more students.

  • Recently, convergence engineering is emerged technology to make a whole new conceptual methodology attractively more than we previously developed the distinct technology for engineering college students particularly. Based on convergence methodology, we utilize the open-source electronic prototyping platform named Arduino enabling users to create interactive electronic objects and the automata that is generally referred to a wooden moving, mechanical device or art of work in order to develop the creative convergence education program. We have confidence that our education program can lead the development of automata and information technology simultaneously and can nurture talented students who have creativity and originality in engineering college.

  • The purpose of this study is to create an interactive tool Geometry Player for geometric explorations. In designing this software, we referred to van Hiele's geometric learning theory of and Duval's cognitive comprehension theory of geometric figures. With Geometry Player, it is easy to construct and manipulate dynamic geometric figures. Teachers can easily present the dynamic process of geometric figures in class, and students can use it as a leaning tool to construct geometric concepts by themselves. It is hoped that Geometry Player can be a useful assistant for teachers and a nice partner for students. A brief introduction to Geometry Player and some application examples are included in this paper.
