Active RFID를 이용한 실내 무선 위치 인식 기반 스마트 센서 빌딩 구현에 관한 연구 (A Study on Realization of System in Wireless Location Awareness Technology Using Ubiquitous Active RFID)

  • 이 논문은 RFID를 이용한 무선 위치 인식 기술에 대한 것이다. 데이터의 RF 분석에 의한 수신된 신호의 강도로써 위치를 파악하고 위치 특성을 이해하는 실험을 하였다. 이 실험 시스템은 외부 환경 요인을 고려한 상태에서 5000대의 단말기를 이용하여 연구하였다. 이 위치 서비스는 특히 구매, 물류, 제조와 같은 일반산업, 자동조명/공조연동, 주차장 GATE 연동 서비스 등과 같은 많은 산업에서 이용될 것이다. 이 기술의 최적 솔루션은 일상생활의 지능형 정보가 필요하는 데이터의 저장과 접촉 비접촉에 토대를 둔 스마트 카드(전화카드, 은행카드..)등에도 이용될 것이다. 실내 위치 실험 방법은 서비스 및 추정된 위치 데이터를 이용한다. 이 연구의 결과는 아래와 같다. 첫째, Active RFID의 위치인식 시스템 설치 운영의 효율성과 둘째, 실내 무선위치 시스템의 추후 지능형 정보가 필요하는 여러 분야에서의 적용 가능성실험에 있다.

대체공정이 있는 기계-부품 그룹의 형성 - 자기조직화 신경망을 이용한 해법 - (Machine-Part Grouping with Alternative Process Plan - An algorithm based on the self-organizing neural networks -)

  • The group formation problem of the machine and part is a critical issue in the planning stage of cellular manufacturing systems. The machine-part grouping with alternative process plans means to form machine-part groupings in which a part may be processed not only by a specific process but by many alternative processes. For this problem, this study presents an algorithm based on self organizing neural networks, so called SOM (Self Organizing feature Map). The SOM, a special type of neural networks is an intelligent tool for grouping machines and parts in group formation problem of the machine and part. SOM can learn from complex, multi-dimensional data and transform them into visually decipherable clusters. In the proposed algorithm, output layer in SOM network had been set as one-dimensional structure and the number of output node has been set sufficiently large in order to spread out the input vectors in the order of similarity. In the first stage of the proposed algorithm, SOM has been applied twice to form an initial machine-process group. In the second stage, grouping efficacy is considered to transform the initial machine-process group into a final machine-process group and a final machine-part group. The proposed algorithm was tested on well-known machine-part grouping problems with alternative process plans. The results of this computational study demonstrate the superiority of the proposed algorithm. The proposed algorithm can be easily applied to the group formation problem compared to other meta-heuristic based algorithms. In addition, it can be used to solve large-scale group formation problems.

인공지능형 스마트공장 데이터셋 구축 방법에 관한 연구 (A Study on Establishment Method of Smart Factory Dataset for Artificial Intelligence)

  • 제조현장에서 작업자는 작업 지시서에 따라 제조 공정에 소재를 투입하고 투입 기록을 남기는 방식으로 운영해왔으나, 누락하는 경우가 많아 제품 LOT 추적이 안되는 경우가 발생하고 있었으며, 최근 스마트공장 구축으로 RFID-Tag를 활용하여 소재 투입 정보를 자동입력 하는 시스템으로 진행되고 있다. 특히, 생산라인에 투입되는 RACK에 부착된 TAG 정보를 수신하여 RACK(TAG) ID와 RACK 투입시간 데이터 분석을 통한 투입정보를 자동으로 생성토록 하여 초기 자동인식률이 97%로 양호하였으나 멀티소재 사용 RACK, TAG분실, 신규 제품 투입 이슈 등이 발생하면서 자동인식률이 계속 낮아지는 상황이다. 인공지능형 스마트공장 데이터셋 구축 방법은 자동인식률 향상과 실시간 모니터링이 가능해지므로 생산 공정의 전반에 있어 속도와 수율(정상제품 비율)을 높이는데 기여할 것으로 기대한다.

안전 리더십과 리더 신뢰가 근로자 참여 및 안전 지식을 매개로 안전 행동에 미치는 영향 연구 (A study on the effects of safety leadership and trust in leader on safety behavior mediated by workers' involvement and safety knowledge)

  • 본 연구에서는 기업 내 근로자의 안전 행동과 관리자의 안전 리더십, 리더 신뢰, 근로자 참여, 안전 지식과의 관계를 실증적으로 규명하고, 요인들이 어떤 역할을 하는지 분석함으로써 기업의 중대재해 예방에 기여하는 근로자의 안전 행동을 강화하는 요인을 파악하고 분석하였다. 산업재해가 발생하게 되면 기업 입장에서는 재해자를 대상으로 보상을 하는 직접비와 더불어 인적 손실, 물적 손실, 생산 손실, 시간 손실 등 간접비의 발생으로 막대한 손실비용을 감수해야 한다. 본 연구에서는 선행 연구들의 결과를 바탕으로 제조업에 종사하는 생산, 기술, 노무직 근로자를 대상으로 관리자의 안전 리더십과 근로자의 리더 신뢰가 근로자 참여, 안전 지식을 매개로 안전 행동에 미치는 영향에 대해 연구하였다. SPSS 와 PLS를 이용하여서 제조업체 근로자 271명을 대상으로 통계분석을 실시하였다. 분석 결과는 안전 리더십과 리더 신뢰는 근로자의 참여를 유도하고 근로자의 안전 지식 습득에 긍정적인 영향을 미쳐 근로자의 안전 행동을 이끌어낼 수 있다는 것이다.

제조물 책임(PL)법 대응을 위한 품질 리스크 진단 모델 개발 (Developing a Quality Risk Assessment Model for Product Liability Law)

  • As the global uncertainty of manufacturing has increased and the quality problem has become global, the recall has become a fatal risk that determines the durability of the company. In addition, as the convergence of PSS (product-service system) product becomes common due to the development of IT convergence technology, if the function of any part of hardware or software does not operate normally, there will be a problem in the entire function of PSS product. In order to manage the quality of such PSS products in a stable manner, a new approaches is needed to analyze and manage the hardware and software parts at the same time. However, the Fishbone diagram, FTA, and FMEA, which are widely used to interpret the current quality problem, are not suitable for analyzing the quality problem by considering the hardware and software at the same time. In this paper, a quality risk assessment model combining FTA and FMEA based on defect rate to be assessed daily on site to manage quality and fishbone diagram used in group activity to solve defective problem. The proposed FTA-FMEA based risk assessment model considers the system structure characteristics of the defect factors in terms of the relationship between hardware and software, and further recognizes and manages them as risk. In order to evaluate the proposed model, we applied the functions of ITS (intelligent transportation system). It is expected that the proposed model will be more effective in assessing quality risks of PSS products because it evaluates the structural characteristics of products and causes of defects considering hardware and software together.

NO Reduction and High Efficiency Combustion by Externally Oscillated Staging Burner

  • It is difficult for a burner to achieve an increase in combustibility and a reduction of NOx emission, simultaneously. The reason is because thermal NOx could be reduced at low temperature, while the combustibility should be decreased. To solve this problem, an externally oscillated staging burner was developed, and experiment was conducted according to effective parameters. The combustibility could be improved through the accelerated transfer of heat, mass and momentum obtained by external oscillation. Also, NO is reduced by the decrease of residence time of burning gas in the local highest-temperature spot, which is decreased by the external oscillation and fuel staging. Experiments on variables were conducted to determine the reference flame, and the flame generating the lowest NO concentration was selected. The conditions of reference flame were oscillation frequency 250 Hz, sound pressure 1 VPP, and air ratio 1.1, and NO and CO concentrations were 1ppm and 20 ppm, respectively.

SOM을 이용한 제품수명주기 기반 서비스 수요예측 (Product Life Cycle Based Service Demand Forecasting Using Self-Organizing Map)

  • 서비스 인적자원 운용의 효율성 제고와 부품 또는 시설 할당의 적정성 향상을 위해 서비스센터를 통해 접수되는 서비스 요청 건수를 보다 정확하게 예측하고자 하는 필요성이 제조업을 중심으로 증가하고 있다. 본 연구에서는 제품의 특성을 반영하여 제품수명주기 별로 제품들을 군집화하고 군집 별로 적절한 예측모형을 구축한 후 예측 값을 통합하는 개별예측방식을 LCD 모니터 제조사의 사례를 통해 제시한다. 또한 예측 결과를 총량방식 및 기존에 기업이 사용하고 있는 방식과 비교. 평가하여 우수성을 증명함으로써 제품이나 산업의 특성을 반영한 맞춤형 수요예측 기법 도입의 필요성을 부각하고, 그에 따른 이론적, 실무적 가이드라인을 제공한다.

Importance Of Tribology in Positive-Displacement Type of Fluid Machinery and Heat Engine

  • The industrial revolution in England was based on the manufacturing systems by the power of water mill and rapidly progressed by the innovation of steam engine. It is no exaggeration to say that today's civilization is realized by the development of various types of power machinery, namely fluid machinery and heat engine. The electric energy is converted mainly from thermal energy (mainly steam) of mineral oil, coal and nuclear fuel through generator connected with steam turbine which is a kind of power machinery. There are various types of power machinery as shown in Tables 1a and 1b. They are classified into two types by use. One is absorption type of fluid and/or thermal energy, for examples, windmill and heat engine. The other is provision type of the energies for examples, pump, compressor and propulsion. By flow type, they are also classified by two types, turbo type and positive-displacement type. The turbo type began from water mill and windmill and evolve to steam turbine and finally to gas turbine. The positive-displacement type started from reciprocating water pump and developed into steam engine and changed to reciprocating combustion engine. The pumps and motors used in oil hydraulic system for power control are also positive-displacement type.

  • The real-time industrial network, often referred to as fieldbus, is an important element for intelligent manufacturing systems. Thus, in order to satisfy the real-time requirements of field devices, numerous fieldbus protocols have been announced. But, the application of fieldbus has been limited due to the high cost of hardware and the difficulty in interfacing with multi-vendor products. Therefore, as an alternative to fieldbus, the computer network technology, especially Ethernet (IEEE 802.3), is being adapted to the industrial environment. However, the crucial technical obstacle for Ethernet is its non-deterministic behavior that makes it inadequate for industrial applications where real-time data have to be delivered within a certain time limit. Recently, the development of switched Ethernet shows a very promising prospect for industrial application due to the elimination of uncertainties in the network operation resulting in much improved performance. This paper focuses on the application of the switched Ethernet with cascade structure for industrial communications. More specifically, this paper presents an analytical performance evaluation of switched Ethernet with cascade structure, and a case study about networked control system.

Tangible Tele-Meeting in Tangible Space Initiative

  • Tangible Space Initiative (TSI) is a new framework that can provide a more natural and intuitive Human Computer Interface for users. This is composed of three cooperative components: a Tangible Interface, Responsive Cyber Space, and Tangible Agent. In this paper we present a Tangible Tele-Meeting system in TSI, which allows people to communicate with each other without any spatial limitation. In addition, we introduce a method for registering a Tangible Avatar with a Tangible Agent. The suggested method is based on relative pose estimation between the user and the Tangible Agent. Experimental results show that the user can experience an interaction environment that is more natural and intelligent than that provided by conventional tele-meeting systems.
