  • Purpose: The purpose of the study is to analyze the characteristics of emotional intelligence and the variables related to emotional intelligence in a comprehensive manner. In addition, the study intends to present research trends and future research directions of emotional intelligence in a Korean context by analyzing the effects of emotional intelligence and its mechanisms. Research Design, Data, and Methodology: 77 KCI listed studies were selected for the analysis, and the research perspective of emotional intelligence, measurement instruments, empirical research and research methods were analyzed. In addition, research directions were suggested based on the analysis results. Results: The results of the analysis were as follows: First, previous researchers used the ability model of emotional intelligence the most. Second, Previous studies tended to focus on behavioral factors as dependent variables affected by emotional intelligence, in addition to attitudes, affection. Third, there were few studies on the antecedents of emotional intelligence, however, most studies dealt with the consequences of emotional intelligence. Fourth, few studies dealt with moderators between emotional intelligence and dependent variables. Fifth, on the research type, most studies were quantitative studies, however, a few of them were qualitative studies (Literature review, in-depth interview). Sixth, with regard to the analysis level, almost all studies were conducted on the individual level of emotional intelligence, and most studies featured a cross-sectional research design (longitudinal research design was rare). Conclusion: First, from the perspective of emotional intelligence, additional research should be focused on not only the ability model of emotional intelligence but also on the trait model or the mixed model in the future. Second, since emotional intelligence is a multidimensional construct, it is necessary to study the profile of emotional intelligence by employing people-centered as well as variable-centered methods. Third, with regard to empirical studies, additional research is needed with respect to not only the emotional intelligence of the subordinate, but also the emotional intelligence of the supervisor (leader) and the emotional intelligence of the group. Fourth, it is necessary to actively utilize not only cross-sectional design but also longitudinal design, and qualitative research and meta-analysis methods should also be adopted.

  • Ahead of the introduction of artificial intelligence education into the revised curriculum in 2022, various class cases based on artificial intelligence should be developed. In this study, we designed an artificial intelligence education program based on explainable artificial intelligence using design-based research. Artificial intelligence, which covers three areas of basic, utilization, and ethics of artificial intelligence and can be easily connected to real-life cases, is set as a key topic. In general design-based studies, more than three repetitive processes are performed, but the results of this study are based on the results of the primary design, application, and evaluation. We plan to design a program on artificial intelligence that is more complete based on the third modification and supplementation by applying it to the school later. This research will help the development of artificial intelligence education introduced at school.

  • The current rapid development of artificial intelligence technology has involved all aspects of the production field. The development of various algorithms and programs has pushed artificial intelligence to a new peak. Due to its complexity and diversity in the field of architectural design, the positive impact of artificial intelligence technology on architectural design is discussed from the perspective of conceptual design. For museums, which are one of the increasingly popular public facilities, the introduction of artificial intelligence technology has provided certain help in assisting the conceptual design of the museum. This article analyzes the theoretical and practical support of artificial intelligence technology in improving conceptual design, analyzing the architectural appearance, structural layout, materials, etc., to increase the feasibility and practicality of assisting conceptual design. It has certain reference significance for building a modern, advanced, international and interactive modern museum.

  • Intelligence is thought to be related to interaction rather than a deep but passive thinking. Interactive tangible media "iT_Media" is proposed to explore these issues. Personal robotics is a major area to investigate these ideas. A new design methodology for personal and emotional robotics is proposed. Sciences of the artificial and intelligence have been investigated. A short history of artificial intelligence is presented in terms of logic, heuristic, and mobility; a science of intelligence is presented in terms of imitation and understanding; intelligence issues for robotics and intelligence measures are described. A design methodology for personal robots based on science of emotion is investigated. We investigate three different aspects of design: visceral, behavioral, reflective. We also discuss affect and emotion in robots, robots that sense emotion, robots that induce emotion in people, and implications and ethical issues of emotional robots. Personal robotics for the elderly seems to be a major area in which to explore these ideas.

  • Purpose This study explores the development direction of the artificial intelligence curriculum as a universal education that enhances the ability of college students to flexibly use artificial intelligence these days, where artificial intelligence education is spreading, and the educational components based on this are subdivided according to the characteristics of each major. Design/methodology/approach In order to develop the educational purpose of the subject and the detailed educational curriculum suitable for the subject of education, we first analyzed domestic and foreign prior research related to artificial intelligence liberal arts education. As the main components derived by experts, the basic concept of artificial intelligence converges to literacy to read and write for everyday problem solving, as well as problem-solving ability to manipulate real data and software. Findings The results showed that In the artificial intelligence literacy module, trends and prospects of artificial intelligence and necessary competencies were checked, and cases applied to major fields were examined. In the AI utilization and application part, basic data analysis items and content composition were composed through creative thinking, logical thinking, and intelligence. In order to design the curriculum, a software development language suitable for each major area was first selected, and AI education content areas, elements, and packages were defined and designed for each major area to meet the objectives of the subject.

  • In this paper, we design a programming education model that uses emotional intelligence and apply the model to programming education in elementary school. In our previous work, we found that there is a meaningful correlation between emotional intelligence and programming ability. In this paper, as a follow-up study, we design a programming education model based on a storytelling model and emotional intelligence. In order to test the performance of the proposed model, we applied our proposed model to the 5th grade elementary school students who have no programming experience. Based on extensive survey work and statistical analysis, we found that the experimental group by the programming education using the emotional intelligence got a statistically significant higher achievement than the comparative group by the traditional programming education. We hope that our model will be helpful in programming education in schools.

  • The research of the AI-based command decision support system was insufficient both quantitatively and qualitatively. In particular, in Korea, there was no research on concrete concept design at the current concept research level. This paper proposed the conceptual design of a tactical echelon command decision support system based on artificial intelligence(AI) according to the current army's doctrine of the operation process. The suggested conceptual design clarified the problem and proposed an appropriate process for design, and applied the function analysis method among rational techniques that enable conceptual design systematically.

  • Artificial intelligence-enabled business models aim to improve decision-making, operational efficiency, innovation, and productivity. The presented systematic literature review is conducted to highlight elucidating the utilization of artificial intelligence (AI) methods and techniques within AI-enabled businesses, the significance and functions of AI-enabled organizational models and frameworks, and the design parameters employed in academic research studies within the AI-enabled business domain. We reviewed 39 empirical studies that were published between 2010 and 2023. The studies that were chosen are classified based on the artificial intelligence business technique, empirical research design, and SLR search protocol criteria. According to the findings, machine learning and artificial intelligence were reported as popular methods used for business process modelling in 19% of the studies. Healthcare was the most experimented business domain used for empirical evaluation in 28% of the primary research. The most common reason for using artificial intelligence in businesses was to improve business intelligence. 51% of main studies claimed to have been carried out as experiments. 53% of the research followed experimental guidelines and were repeatable. For the design of business process modelling, eighteen AI mythology were discovered, as well as seven types of AI modelling goals and principles for organisations. For AI-enabled business models, safety, security, and privacy are key concerns in society. The growth of AI is influencing novel forms of business.
