Mathematical creativity, an important goal in mathematics education, can be promoted through an integrated learning environment where students explore mathematics with other subject areas such as science, technology, engineering and art. Establishing such learning environments is not a trivial task. Therefore, this creates a need for the development of instructional resources promoting meaningful integration. This paper focuses on integration of the fields of mathematics and music. Beginning with some of the historical discoveries and views of the connections between mathematics and music, this paper attends to several musical concepts correlating to middle school mathematical content and then provides ideas for teaching.

Marine production forecasting in fisheries is a crucial factor for managing and maintaining fishery resources. Thus this paper aims to generate a forecasting model of total marine production. The most generally method of time series model is to generate the most optimal single forecasting model. But the method could induce a different forecasting results when it does not properly infer a model To overcome the defect, I am trying to propose a single forecasting through multiple time series model. In other word, by comparing and integrating the output resulted from ARIMA and VAR model (which are typical method in a forecasting methodology), I tried to draw a forecasting. It is expected to produce more stable and delicate forecasting prospect than a single model. Through this, I generated 3 models on a yearly and monthly data basis and then here I present a forecasting from 2006 to 2010 through comparing and integrating 3 models. In conclusion, marine production is expected to show a decreasing tendency for the coming years.

Asan city has many strengths, for examples, the distinction of innovation ability, several places with clean environmental resources, conventional-cultural resources and favorable conditions of location in regional agriculture development. But it has not devised the comprehensive development plan for regional agriculture that is integrating natural, cultural and industrial resources. So the plan linked with those resources should be to promoted to develop agricultural production, marketing and regional economy. And a development strategy is to have the system of agricultural independence within Asan. Namely, originality, identity and cooperative spirit in economic and social-cultural aspects of Asan agriculture are needed, which are a great help to settle agricultural issues in Asan itself And the governance system needs to be introduced that has the main bodies of Asan agriculture, so as to promote agricultural policy.

This paper presents an approach for integrating u-Life care applications into the Cloud computing based on virtual resources to support real-time services and to improve quality of service (QoS) requirement. We propose an architecture for virtualization resources scheduling. The proposed is based on the concepts of Cloud computing and Wireless sensor networks. In this paper, we focus on the scheduling u-Life care applications run on the virtual machine (VM) resources in Cloud computing.

To carry out systematic groundwater assessment, exploration and management and to use these for protection of optimal groundwater yield, a data analysis and management system is required. Thus, the object of this research was to develop and apply software that integrates GIS and groundwater modeling: GISGAM (GIS for groundwater analysis and management system). The GIS program ArcView and the groundwater-modeling program MODFLOW were used for the GISGAM. The program components consist of a pre-processor, a processor, and a post-processor for groundwater modeling. In addition, GIS functions such as input, manipulation, analysis and output of data were embedded into the program. In applying the program to pilot area, topography, geology, soil, land use and well databases, and a groundwater flow model were constructed for the study area. This case study revealed the advantage and convenience of groundwater modeling using GIS capabilities. By integrating GIS and the groundwater model, the impact of changing values of hydrogeological constants on model results could be more easily evaluated.

This study explores the temporal and spatial features near 67years (1934 ?2001) and landcover change in last 14 years (1987-2001) in Shijiazhuang, China, based on 67-year time series data edited from historical maps, TM and ETM+ imageries by integrating GIS and remote sensing method. An index named Annual Growth Rate (AGR) is used to analyze the spatial features of urban sprawl, and Maximum Likelihood classification method is utilized to detect the land cover types change. At last, the relationship between urbanization and factors is analyzed.

최근 인터넷의 급속한 보급과 네트워크자원을 비롯한 전자자료의 급증으로 목록분야에 있어 환경이 크게 급변하고 있다. IFLA에서는 이와 같은 변화에 대응하여 ISBD(CF)와 ISBD(S)를 개정하여 ISBD(ER)과 ISBD(CR)을 새로이 발간하였다. 특히 ISBD(CR)의 경우 연속간행물에서 계속자료로 변경하게 된 것은 무엇보다 갱신되는 가제식자료나 웹사이트 등과 같은 통합자료까지 범위를 확대하기 위해서이다. 본 연구에서는 이러한 ISBD(CR)의 제정배경과 경과과정, 연속간행물을 계속자료로 개정하면서 새로이 설정하게 된 서지자료의 구분원리, 표제의 변경시 새로운 레코드 작성의 유무, 기술의 정보원, 자료의 특수세목사항, 그리고 새로운 용어정의와 레코드작성의 예시 등을 분석하였으며, ISBD(CR)의 제정으로 인한 AACR2R 2002 개정판 및 MARC 21의 개정내용을 규명함과 동시에, 이를 바탕으로 한국목록규칙 제4판과 KORMARC에 있어 관련부분의 개정안도 함께 제시하였다.

The representative research institutes in North Korea are the Academy of Science and the laboratories of major universities. The National Academy of Science consists of headquarters, Academy of Medicinal Science, Academy of Forestry Science, and Academy of Agricultural Science. Under the authority of the National Academy of Science, Central Information Agency for Science and Technology (CIAST) has built up a database system integrating all the science technology data to provide scientific and technological information. The major universities of North Korea include Kim Il-sung University, Kim Chaek University of Technology, Pyongyang Agricultural College, and Wonsan Agricultural College, and an agricultural college is situated in each province. Out of 3,860 plant species in North Korea, 158 species which amounts to approximately 4% of the total are rare and endangered, and deforestation is under a critical situation. The Oriental Medicine (Koryo Medicine) has been well developed using medicinal plants, and practical researches on biotic pesticide are largely conducted as an alternative to tackle the shortage of farming materials. Hereafter, a South-North joint research on the amount of plant resources and the methods of its conservation is needed and the North Korean research areas of biotic pesticide are worth adopting to the South Korean eco-friendly organic agriculture.

This work identifies the key factors influencing the success of multidisciplinary, interdisciplinary, and trans-disciplinary R&D projects in transition economies by integrating knowledge management, organizational, inter/intra-collaboration (open-innovation), and leadership perspectives, while also addressing the perspective of the science of team science, which is an integrative approach to R&D. This is followed by providing the major sub-constructs of team science and policy implications to better facilitate multidisciplinary, interdisciplinary, and transdisciplinary R&D projects in knowledge-based transition economies.

The current network environment is composed of heterogeneous H/W and S/W resources. Integrating CSCW applications in such heterogeneous environments is highly complex. This paper describes the design and implementation of ASS (application sharing server) which supprot sharing of a single application between different operating systems. The ASS supports cooperative work among user group using its own window system (X-windwo or MS-windwos). We adopted improved managing heavy-weight data. ASS also provides development environment for vaious groupware application.
