In this paper, we designed the bay control unit that is based on the microprocessors and integrates with the new technology of electrical, electronic, and mechanical fields. Nowadays the customers have required much more integrated multi-protection relay, monitoring, control devices and power management for better and easier maintenance, performance, electrical system analysis and communication according to new trend of switchboard This bay controller supplies those requirements of customers with easy handling and operation. This bay controller provides a graphic display with rear-lit liquid crystal LCD and push buttons as kinds of HMI(Human Machine Interface). This bay controller provides the parameter setting program, control setting program, various editors and fault recording and analysis program on Windows/95/98/NT/2000/XP for HMI. In addition, this bay controller can be set manually and this manual setting function helps user to interface easily.

One of the most important requirements for the development of computerized relay setting system is its openness to accommodate the various changes like new panel additions. This paper describes the relay setting system(PROSET2000), which has an open system architecture and adopts the object oriented programming paradigm. Its main features include the intelligent fault type identification, automatic running of the short circuit analysis, run-time rulebase modification, automatic documentation, etc.

As the public interest in environmental issues increased, the "Act On The Integrated Control Of Pollutant-Discharging Facility" was enacted. Through the integrated environmental pollution prevention act in which 19 industries with large environmental impacts are sequentially applied, pollutants can be managed in a medium-integrated manner and integrated permission of the business unit is possible and BAT can be applied to enable a scientific and proactive environmental management system. This study analyzed the overview of BAT reference documents(BREF), BAT setting procedure and method, and then suggested the development direction BAT and BAT-AEL monitoring method of a Electricity and Steam production facility.

Through the integrated environmental pollution prevention act in which 19 industries with large environmental impacts are sequentially applied, pollutants can be managed in a medium-integrated manner and integrated permission of the business unit is possible and BAT can be applied to enable a scientific and proactive environmental management system. In addition, if the facility with BAT works normally, the pollutant emission is offered with the range of lower limit to upper limit. This study analyzed the overview of Best Available Techniques-Associated Emission Levels (BAT-AEL), and its setting procedure and method, and then suggested the BAT-AEL of a waste incineration facility. In comparative analysis on Emission Limit Values (ELVs) of EU, this study tries to propose improvement matters and development directions if the relevant standard is revised.

The purpose of this study is to suggest a meaningful way of implementing science and engineering integrated lessons in school science settings. To this end, two types of science and engineering integrated lesson units (focusing on the physic concepts of light and wave) were developed based on the core elements of science and engineering integrated lesson; object, context, engineering design, and connection with science. These two units were implemented in free semester program in a middle school in a metropolitan city. Throughout the process of program implementation, instructor's reflection and focus group interview with participant students were collected to reveal problems arising from the field implementation. In addition, engineering education experts were interviewed to discuss the potential problems and possible solutions for the problems. As results of the study, five main problems of implementing escience and engineering integrated lessons in a school science setting were revealed and practical solutions for the problems were suggested by the experts.

This study is to concern about the effort of architectural practice to realize the sustainable architecture. It is necessary to know about the integrated design method which combines the passive design method with the active design method from the initial design phase. One case study is followed to explain the method. Integrated design starts from defining the project and goal setting, site evaluation, design concept, design optimization, documents and specifications, bidding and construction and post occupancy evaluation followed respectively. In order to construct the sustainable design, sophisticated understanding about nature and its' principle is important and adaptable application of nature and climate depending on location is followed. In conclusion, architects and specialists of sustainable design should make an effort more study.

The main purpose of this dissertation is to develop an integrated approach to sustainable housing development, which would be applied in both academic studios and professional practice. This approach is based upon the concept of sustainability encountered in the process of housing design efficiency. It is concerned with the basic identification of problems and needs, the setting of design goals, and the constraints under which the future design and construction will have to operate. The components of the research approach focus on: (1) the identification of main issues of sustainable architecture (2) the identification of the concept of sustainability as integrated approach for architectural design. (3) the analysis of context between the housing design and the main issues of sustainablility. (4) the identification of the concept of sustainable housing design. Based on these results, this paper suggested the concept of sustainable housing design as integrated approach.

This study is a study on the building integrated method of Photovoltaic. It was analyzed into a basic installation condition and an integrated form in this study. And it was confirmed through the 3D simulation & drawing work of an integrated situation to the real domestic building. The Photovoltaic installation of the country to an optimal efficiency for the year must be installed to the due south with an angle of thirty degrees. And also a module spacing must be more than doubled from the bottom to the top of module to prevent from efficiency falling by a shadow of photovoltaic module in a roof setting of flat roof. If Photovoltaic module is an adequate material that is a basic requirement as a building's finishing material, it's not only an efficiency of alternation with an existing finishing material but also a building's design element.

The paper presents the results of a study on the desired observing system which setting the high-level objectives for an integrated, sustained, national coastal observing system. Knowledge of the coastal zone is demanded by many constituencies, including fishermen, fisheries managers and climatologist, harbor pilots, coastal zone managers, environmental protection professionals etc. Many of these needs are being partially met by coastal zone observing system elements, both satellite and in situ. Nevertheless, these have not enough developed in an integrated manner and have been funded and operated to meet their own purpose. Thus, this study presents the development and application method for a national coastal zone observing system, which is integration of disparate observational systems and data sets to maximize their utility for many users and purposes.

Business integration has been considered as one of the most critical success factors that enable the firms to gain competitive edges. Despite this trend, it has also been found among not a few companies that the activities that should be functionally tied with are performed even independently. In this study, an integrated model of production planning and inventory has been developed. Computerization of the production planning activities is proposed and implemented. We also proposed the reasonable inventory levels of each item using historic data of the items, which are composed of safety stock from the given fill-rate, operating stock from the production patterns, and reserved stock from the production planning. This study has helped the firm to have clearer job definition of the related processes, to tightly control the inventory by setting and tracing the reasonable fill rates for every product, and to quickly respond to the market changes through the computerized production planning process.
