Safety accidents are of concern during construction projects, even given the recent innovations in digital technologies. These projects remain focused on overcoming specific and limited applications on construction sites. For this reason, the development of an inclusive safety management system has become crucial. This study aims to build a Big Data platform to inform decisions on how to proactively eliminate worker hazards on construction sites. The platform consists of about 100,000 real records and a real-time monitored database featuring various safety indices, such as workers' altitudes, heart rates, and fatigability during construction, which are determined through various wearable devices. The data types are customized and integrated by a research team in accordance with the characteristics of a specific project using hypertext transfer protocol (HTTP). The results can be helpful as efficient tools to ensure successful safety management in complex construction situations. This study is expected to provide three significant contributions to the field, including real-time fatigability analysis and tracking of workers on-site; providing early GPS-based warnings to workers who might be accessing dangerous spaces or places; and monitoring the workers' health indices, based on details from 100,000 cases.
Purpose Digital platforms, together with the innovative technologies of modern society, are accelerating the digital innovation of the entire economy and society. Although social media platforms are gradually integrated into daily life, due to social media overload, users limit their use of the platform for a certain period of time or eventually choose to stop using it. In the context of social media platform, the purpose of this paper is to study the effects of information overload, social overload and system function overload on users' unintentional avoidance behavior, mediated by fatique and dissatisfaction. Design/methodology/approach This study empirically examines the influence of social media overload characteristics on users' unintentional avoidance behavior of platform utilization using the S-O-R framework. Data from 236 Chinese social media users were collected through a questionnaire survey, and the hypotheses were validated by evaluating the research model using the SmartPLS 4.0 program using Partial Least Square (PLS) method. Findings According to the empirical analysis result, based on the S-O-R model, first, it is confirmed that information overload and system feature overload have significant positive(+) effects on fatigue. Second, this study finds that information overload, social overload and fatigue have significant positive(+) effects on dissatisfaction. Thirdly, fatigue and dissatisfaction have significant positive(+) effects on unintentional avoidance. In addition, social overload has no significant effect on fatigue, while system feature overload has no significant effect on dissatisfaction.
The paper proposes a hybrid fire fighting control intelligent system(H-FFIS) using rules and cases to detect fire in Integrated Platform Management System. By far most conventional systems have been based on rule-based system in which expert knowledges are expressed with production rules. It is hard to express the knowledges to detect fire with production rules only. The knowledges of fire detection are often based on previously encountered situations of fires. For improvement of system capability renewing and adding of rules is needed in an already build-up system and such adding and renewing procedures could hinder users from fluent utilization of the system. We design and implement H-FFIS. Compared with rule-based FFIS(Fire Fighting control Intelligent System), H-FFIS extended with case-based reasoning shows that the system proposed here can lead to an improvement in fire detection rate.
In this paper, using the Android-based mobile platform designed and integrated U-healthcare systems for personal health care system is proposed. Integrated Biometric systems, electrocardiogram (ECG), oxygen saturation, blood pressure, respiration, body temperature, such as measuring vital signs throughout the module and signal processing biometric information through wireless communication module based on the Android mobile platform is transmitted to the gateway. Biometric data transmitted from a mobile health monitoring system, or transmitted to the server of U-healthcare was designed. By implementing vital signs monitoring system has been measured in vivo by monitoring data to determine current health status of caregivers had the advantage of being able to guarantee mobility respectively. This system is designed as personal health management and monitoring system for emergency patients will be helpful in the development looks U-healthcare system.

In maned airport, crews may have risks as they manage passenger control system in IPMS in damage situations such as fire in a airport. So the application of unmanned autonomous system can reduce the number of boarding crews and attribute to safe airplane tranportation. PBBC model can be used to obtain control strategy, and airplane and enhance oprators' skill by simulating the airport. The paper suggests an intelligent system of the pbbc control using microprocessor in integrated platform management system which can take measures against passenger situation of a airplane excluding unnecessary warnings with undamaged situations. The system here detected the passenger more accurately and adopted more appriate measures according to airplane status compared with conventional systems.
Manufacturing processes in industrial complexes produce NOx, SOx, VOCs, which cause particulate matter (PM). Therefore, this study analyzed the characteristics of each industrial complex by using scattered public data, matched the existing particulate matter(PM) reduction technology, and proposed an optimized reduction plan. The application of matching technologies and facilities by industrial complexes based on data is able to mitigate NOx, SOx, and VOCs which cause particulate matter in the process in advance. This way can be an effective alternative in order to reduce PM in the manufacturing processes as well as industrial complexes.

In an attempt to disseminate modernized Korean traditional housing (Hanok), a ten-year research project was initiated in 2010 by the Korean Government to reduce the construction cost, improve the facility performance, and automate the Hanok construction industry. To meet these objectives, various research areas, including public policies, planning methods, design standards, new building materials, construction standards, maintenance procedures, advanced project management tools, and integrated IT applications have been developed. In addition, comprehensive technologies developed were applied to the ten pilot Hanok buildings to validate the real-world performance as part of the research project. To further facilitate the digital transformation of the Hanok industry by using the research results, it is required to disseminate the developed technologies in an automated and standardized manner. In particular, it is crucial to systematize and manage the interoperability of various technical data and accumulated historical data for different business functions, especially within the highly fragmented industry. In this context, this paper proposes an ontology-based Hanok information dissemination platform to enable industry-wide automated knowledge and information sharing. The system architecture, standardized historical database, and advanced analytics based on ontology web language (OWL) for the Hanok industrialization platform are introduced.
This paper analyses the main aspects the aspects of the Third-person shooting game and then investigates the released TPS games which are integrated with Role-playing game types of genres. Then we propose the technical points in designing and developing of the integrated action games to increase the immersion in playing the games. Also we propose the artifice in order to cut down the cost and enhance the portability to the mobile platform.
Designer must cope with frequent changes in geometric information of automobile suspension module in the early stage of the design process. The authors developed the PSG(Parametric Set Generator) to create parametric models and to change geometric information concerning the lower arm, which is one of the important parts of the automobile suspension module. CAD models provided from the PSG can be utilized to assess fatigue durability via the FE modeling support system. This system provides easy and fast FE-modeling for a static and durability analysis of the lower arm. The PSG and the FE modeling support system are integrated using the e-engineering framework based on the JADE platform. In this study, a durability analysis as a case study for the lower arm manufactured at H company is performed, and the efficiency obtained is discussed.
The paper describes a formalisation of a Design for Safety methodology in an integrated envi-ronment, outlines early developments of a software tool, and presents the results of an appli-cation of the methodology to a case study. The approach adopted attempts link safety per-formance prediction through the utilisation of appropriate technical tools, safety assessment deriving from risk-based methodologies and disparate design activities and issues. Black-board systems have been utilised as the platform in the development of the integrated design environment, allowing safety assessment to become an integral part of the design process. Finally, the case study addresses the application of the developed methodology to three dif-ferent arrangements of a conventional passenger Ro-Ro vessel, with the aim to demonstrate the validity of the process and methodology adopted. The findings are presented and dis-cussed, and recommendations given for the way forward.
