  • 인간의 몸의 값이 1000냥이라고 하면 그중의 눈의 값은 900냥이라는 말이 있다. 그만큼 눈이 차지하는 즉 시각이 차지하는 비중이 매우 크다고 할 수가 있겠다. 또한 하등동물보다 고등동물로 진화해갈수록 시각의 활용도가 높아지는 것과 같이 각종 기계에 있어서도 자동화가 진전될수록 머신비전(Machine Vision)기술의 의존도 또한 높아지게 되었다. 따라서 산업이 발전함에 따라 머신 비전의 기술은 여러 분야에 걸쳐 요구되고, 연구가 활발히 진행되고 있다. 하지만 기존의 패키지 형식의 머신 비전 시스템은 산업 현장에 적용하는데 가격이 비싸고, 인터페이스 문제, 환경이나 필요조건 및 요구에 의한 시스템의 대처능력이 떨어지는 문제 등을 가지고 있다. 이러한 문제를 해결하기 위한 PC 기반의 머신비젼 시스템에 관한 연구가 필수적일 수 있다. 이러한 점을 궁극적인 목표로 설정하고 본 연구는 산업현장에 적용할 수 있는 머신 비전 시스템의 최적화 설계 에 대한 기술을 연구하였다.

A Study on Reducing Speed Control of Hydraulic Motor of Textiles Supply Rolling Equipment (섬유공급 롤링장치의 유압모터 감속도 제어에 관한 연구)

  • The textiles supply rolling equipment is a part of inspection machine which inspect finished textiles and it check up textiles through rolling hydraulic equipment. This study suggests a method to select the capacity and initial gas pressure of accumulator to control reducing speed of the hydraulic motor to a desired degree. An accumulator in hydraulic systems is hydraulic machinery which stores kinetic energy of inertia body during braking. A series of computer simulations were done for the brake action and the selection method was based upon a trial and error approach. The results of the simulation work were compared with those of experiments and these results show that the proposed method can be applied effectively to control reducing speed of the hydraulic motor when braking action in textiles rolling system.

Quality Improvement in Centrifugal Barrel Finishing Machine (원심바렐연마기공에 있어서 품질향상 대책)

  • In centrifugal barrel finishing, it is easy to establish the optimum working conditions for different workpieces. As they are adjusted in trial and error practically, production efficiency and quality are some- times low In the present paper, firstly, installation of the barrel finishing machine, finishing purpose and working conditions have been analyzed in order to eliminate the defects of the finished surface. Secondly, on the basis of this result, quantity of the water and selection of the media and the compound, etc. have been investigated. As a result, production efficiency and quality have been improved under the specified optimum working conditions. In addition, durability of the media and the compound has been tested experimentally. As a result, it was found that the expected life of the media is about 85 hrs and that of the compound is about 5 hrs. Besides high quality control has been achieved by newly proposed inspection at regular intervals.

  • Recently, the trends of industrial products grow more miniaturization, variety and mass production. Micro drilling which take high precision in cutting work is requested more micro hole and high speed working. Especially, Micro deep hole drilling is becoming more important in a wide spectrum of precision production industries, ranging from the production of automotive fuel injection nozzle, watch and camera parts, medical needles, and thick multi-layered Printed Circuit Boards(PCB) that are demanded for very high density electric circuitry. This paper shows the tool monitoring results of micro drill with tool dynamometer. And additionally, microscope with built-in monitor inspection show the relationship between burr in workpiece and chip form of micro drill machining.

  • The formed tool is used to machine the unique shape of rubber seal for geometrical shaping and reduction of cutting time. The bearing rubber seal produced by hot press forming has complex geometry for the complex geometrical shape to prevent leakage of lubricant oil and influx of the dust effectively. Because it is difficult to machine the unique shape exactly by the conventional tool, the formed tool is used in machining mold of the seal. In this paper, It is performed for selection of the formed tool to investigate cutting edge wear, cutting force, and surface quality. Also, an efficient high precision machining is proposed on the experiment data.

  • The basic technology for a production system represented by design, machining, assembly, and inspection, is machining technology such as CNC machine tools. etc. Direct Numerical Control, that effeciently manages NC programs is developing into Distributed Numerical Control that increases the utilization of the machining cell. It has the ability of monitoring and control, in real time, for CNC and periperial equipment. In this study, we develop a Distributed Numerical Control system that has real time and multitasking operation capability for the machining cell with various CNC's. With the consideration of economy, generalization and extension, the system is interfaced with CNC machine tools and periperial device using RS-485 network and RS-232C communication methods.

  • This paper presents the measurement and correction of PCB alignment errors for PCB-manufacturing machines. The conventional PCB-manufacturing machine doesn't have enough accuracy to accommodate the demand for high-resolution circuit pattern and high-density mounting capacity of electronic chips. It is because of alignment errors of PCB loaded to the PCB-manufacturing machine. Therefore, this study focuses on the development of the system which is able to measure and correct alignment errors whit high-accuracy. An automatic optical inspection part measures the PCB alignment error using two cameras, and the high-accuracy 3-axis stage makes correct of these error. The operating system is run in the environment of Window 98 (or NT). Finally we implemented this system to PCB screen printer and PCB exposure system.

  • This paper presents an integrated machining error compensation method based on PNN(Polynomial Neural Network) approach and inspection database of OMM(On-Machine-Measurement) system. To efficiently analyze the machining errors, two machining error parameters are defined and modeled using the PNN approach, which is used to determine machining errors for the considered cutting conditions. Experiments are carried out to validate the approaches proposed in this paper. In result, the proposed methods can be effectively implemented in a real machining situation, producing much fewer errors.

  • Even the domestically small-and medium-sized companies progressed development in the monitoring equipment of inspecting run out in steel wheel aiming to supply and generalize through developing the monitoring equipment for securing quality technology and enhancing quality-test level. Run-Out value in vehicle wheel was measured with Computer & Servo system by using Low-Point marking machine control system, which is this development product. Low-Point value was operated and calculated. It marked by revolving wheel as much as the demanded measurement value based on 1ST harmony curve. Thus, the shipment of inferior product, which occurs in the measurement by the existing worker, could be blocked in advance. In the existing case, 60 sec. was required for inspecting 1 product. However, it came to bring about a rise in production volume through shortening inspection time to 8 seconds and improving workers' operating environment.

A Study on the Allowable Deviation for the Measured Level of the Impact Sound Insulation Performance (바닥충격음 차음성능평가에 있어서 측정 레벨의 허용오차에 관한 연구)

  • The reproducibility of measured level is a prior condition for the reliable assessment of the sound insulation performance. To review the reproducibility of impact sound level, 20 floors were selected in highrise apartment house, and then impact sound levels of two kinds of typical floors were measured with 10 times in each receiving point. The impact sound insulation class values were derived with a standard tapping machine and bang machine. Inspection of the result showed that smaller scale of the room caused to lower the reproducibility and that the higher values of standard deviation in lower frequency caused to deteriorate the reliability of assesment. Thus to enhance the reproducibility of the impact sound insulation class, greater allowable deviation of measured level is required in lower frequency than in higher one.
